A/c was blowing hot air

We should have known there were going to be issues with this hotel as soon as we arrived. There was a police car in the parking lot on a call. The door to the room looked like it had been previously forced open/broken into. As soon as we walked into the room it immediately felt damp in the air. The sheets were moist to the touch and the room smelled badly. We tried to reach out immediately to the front desk to let them know we were not happy. The guy at the front desk was extremely rude and actually ended up hanging up on the phone on us. We stopped by the front desk to attempt to address the issues in person. He told us he needed to go look at the room with us. We went to the room together where he tried to argue that the damp/moist room and sheets were “normal” and “how they were supposed to be”. We tried nicely several times just requesting a refund so we could find a room at a different hotel. He fought us on this until he eventually agreed to refunding us only $20 of the full amount we paid. Never staying at this location or any other hotel under this name.

So these people who run this place are the absolute worst. No customer service at all. I stayed here 13 nights and on the 14th day at 9am they call me and tell me I have to check out by 11 that day. I asked why they said it’s policy. I asked where it was printed at they said it wasn’t. They are basically keeping from paying me my taxes back. They won’t do anything to help their paying customers. I won’t be back that’s for sure.

The room was not cleaned very well it was something sticky on the floor and the door has not type of insulation bugs were coming in the room the room was really muggy because of the door not being properly insulated. I wouldn't recommend this motel 6 to anyone for more than a night the water pressure is terrible the water takes forever to get warm or hot I won't be visiting this motel 6 in the near future

Clean, convenient, friendly & helpful staff. Great rate The only issue I had was that on the morning of check out after going to get coffee & breakfast down the street I came back & key didn't work. I walked to office & got another 1 that also didn't work. The clerk called maintenance man that I waited a long time for & never ended up with a working key. It was extremely frustrating, inconvenient.

He also stated that I paid Booking.com NOT their property and that the property did not receive payment. He had me and my boyfriend OUTSIDE HIS PROPERTY FOR 4 HOURS!!! WE COULD NOT ENTER THE ROOM!! HE ALSO THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE AND HAVE US BARRED FROM THE PROPERTY OR MOTEL 6. MY BOYFRIEND WAS VERY UPSET. The room itself was fine, but in the middle of the night, I was twice awakened by someone banging on my door. I definitely didn't feel safe after that encounter. I think I will pass on staying at this Motel 6 again.

It’s clean and worth it especially just for business conference and meetings.

The rooms are very dilapidated. There were screaming children running around after midnight. Staff was okay but not helpful in getting the receipt I needed.

As well, upon trying to check in. I heard from another guest that they wanted to change rooms, due to having their room's door being broken down before entry. How bad and dangerous can a place be? So I had to leave and book a hotel elsewhere.

The room here was in very poor condition. It was clearly not cleaned properly—there was hair on the floor, and the toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at all. The furniture was also in bad shape, the sofa was worn out and partially broken. On top of that, some of the lights in the room didn’t even work, the refrigerator was extremely noisy, and the soundproofing was terrible—you could easily hear noise from outside and neighboring rooms. Overall, the room felt old, poorly maintained, and far from clean. This was not the standard I expected based on my previous experience with Motel 6.

Property could probably use some upkeep in terms of looking nicer and probably another issue which isn't entirely their fault is to get into the actual hotel room. But outside of that everything was good.

Police is stalkers I was in my car doing nothing they walked up an ask me for my id if I could give zero stars I would.

The room was clean, great staff, nearby shops and wonderful air conditioning.

The room had a very strong odor. There is stuff all over the walls and most of it just needs to be cleaned off. The bathroom has mold on the ceiling and the rubber molding around the tub is coming off. There is mold around the edge of the shower wall. Bottom line is you absolutely get what you pay for. Luckily we are only here for one night.

There were stains on the sheets when I checked in, and the furniture was in horrible condition. There are several thugs hanging out in the parking lot, which made me feel unsafe. I brought these issues up to the office and tried to cancel my reservation, but they would not let me out of the reservation and ended up charging me for one night stay. I did not stay there.

Toponis, the cleaning staff they’re very kind and lovely. They’re nice the people working in the front desk. They don’t have them many people skills so they’re a little iffy fair warning if you’re gonna stay here beware of which room you get because some rooms the toilet gets clogged real quick. The sink might get clogged real quick or the shower. We had to change rooms five times in our stay but beyond that an OK place to stay at the bus is nearby. There’s a lot of stores in shopping center nearby as well so I can’t complain that much.

There are no blowdryers in the room. Please do not make the mistake I did and not pack one.

Whenever I am visiting the area, this is the only place that I want to stay. Check in is always great. The staff is always friendly. The rooms are very spacious and always clean. They are always a five star. I have stayed at other motel sixes but none can compare to this one. I highly recommend this location.

The price value was complimentary to the facility. It is in need of an upkeep and renewing of the rooms. The bed is comfortable and was clean but the bathroom, furniture, facility needs some help. The courtyard with the pool seems to be wonderful. It could be such a great property with some tender love. No complaints but know that you receive the value you pay.

The batteries in the remote that operated the TV wasn't good, So I brought the remote to the front desk, The staff member installed new batteries, Whe I arrived back at the room and tried powering on the TV with the remote, The remote vlfailed to power on the TV, I called the staff to inform him of, He said that he would call back to rectify the situation, ke never followed up with a call, I never d did watch TV, due to the staff poor communication the issue

This is the only motel six that I prefer to stay at. It’s always the cleanest and check in staff are always so polite and they get you checked in in just a few seconds. I have tried other motel six and I have had bad experiences.

I guess it depends on the room. If you are travelling alone or just 2 people, it’s a good place to stay. It will have some repairs like washroom door problem, landline not working. But however room was good to stay and worth the money we pay.

I was very disappointed in the fact that there was roaches in my bed and room. When I told staff about it they offered me new or clean towels!! lol Which I said how was the going to help the infestation of roaches?? Then I told them I was going to check out unless they offered a discount for the next day stay. Which they did not of course so I checked out and found another hotel that didn’t have roaches.

I was laying in bed asleep and somehow had a bite on my leg from something. Saw two mice and bugs. Def not what I wanted too see for almost two nights. Had to wait too check in as room wasn't available yet

This hotel was horrible. Although it is in a very nice part of town, it did not feel safe, had to wait outside to check-in. We go to the room, and it was a dump. The table that had been screwed to the wall was falling off, the tv would not work. We requested another room and were told that none were available. We had booked 2 nights and after seeing the room we were going to stay 1 night since we arrived very late but after being told we could not change rooms and had no tv, we left and found a decent hotel. We have stayed at Motel 6 hotels before without any issues, but this place was horrible and a complete waste of money as I had to book rooms at another hotel. Very, very disappointed.

the ownership was terrible

My room door handle was broke and took 30 minutes before they gave me to new room. Once in room, shower handle was brook and I could not shower and finally the sink in bathroom was a slow drain, therefore I had to keep waiting for water to drain while brushing my teeth and washing up since the shower didnt work. Staff appeared to be unbothered and this is a hotel where people are actually living there.

Motel 6 in Addison has a microwave and refrigerator. It's convenient when you don't want to go out to eat. The rooms are nicer than Farmer's Branch and Garland area.

A nice property and good value for money but i noticed and reported a problem with the water running in the wash hand basin of the toilet. The manager promised to send someone to fix it and for the two days i spent nobody came to fix it. I think that was not good enough. The manager was also not too friendly.

There was a big roach or water bug if you are from Texas (longer than an inch with wings) in the bathroom/sink area.

Great price, easy check in and check out. Good area and clean spacious rooms. Quiet area with pretty flowers and trees outside. Pet friendly with no deposit and free for my dog to stay and pet area was clean and had a fire hydrant and even had doggie bags provided trash can. More than I expected for how little I paid for the room. Only complaint would be the ac unit just didn’t get it cool enough had to buy a box fan to cool the room better. The second complaint is it took 3 keys before we finally got one to work for us. The person working the desk even tried to make sure it worked by third card and was kind about it! Otherwise, I would highly recommend this motel and definitely stay here again!

I stay at this location whenever I’m in Town. The staff is great, friendly and very courteous. The rooms are always very clean and quiet environment.

First off, what I have to say is there was a Indian guy at the front desk who was unfriendly and rude. There was me and another black lady waiting for a room and he told us we had to leave the lobby and wait outside and he put a Be back in 5 minutes sign on the counter. We had to wait until he got back. The was the first mistake he made with me and her. It was rude and unprofessional. I will never come there again. He seemed like he did not want to even help me. He was very unfriendly. The first room he gave me stunk and smelled of cigarettes, which I told him that I did not want a smoking room. I told him that I would not take it and then he gave me another room and that room I could tell was non-smoking, but it looked dirty and with stained blankets and pillow cases,there was only one wash cloth, but there was two beds in our room. I sent my son to ask for another wash cloth and the front desk guy said he did not have any. Again, another instance of unprofessionalism. The bathtub was plastic looking pee color and peeling off. Not only that, the bathtub was dirty and had a few bugs in it when we got in the room. That tells you the cleaners are no good. On top of that, the internet was crap. I work from home and I had problems taking calls on my laptop with their internet as well. I would never get a room there again. I suggest if you are looking for a clean room with clean linens, do not come here. If you want your internet to work with no interference, do not come here.

As far as I remembered, I didn’t choose smoking room, but the room I booked was smoking room in the hotels.com. I am not sure this is hotels.com issue or not. An I requested to change the room to non-smoking but the worker denied because he was not able to change the room. He said I had to cancel and rebooked but I was not able to refund. Except this, everything was all right.

Motel 6 in Addison is the best. It has what you need, a refrigerator and microwave. It is the cleanest one that I have stayed in recently.

We always stay here overnight when we visit friends/family in Dallas. Always clean and very nice staff.

Best motel 6 I have stayed at. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Room was clean and quiet. Had no issues during my 3 day stay. I will definitely return and stay here.

The room itself had not been swept or wiped down in a very long time. There was fingerprints and grim from a thousand stays before. Two different people threw up off the walkway, many more had fights. This was a horrible stay.

This property is okay but the rooms are horrible. It always smells of cigarettes there are no window and the room smells like mold most of the time. I believe there are people who are living in these rooms with dogs and all. it is definitely a one night stay only if that.

Why the pool can’t be use. ?

The staff was not accommodating to move from a smoking room to a non-smoking room. It was affecting my health. Management was rude thevnext morning.

This place is a mess be warned. Smart roaches, the front office will also do anything to get you to book with them directly so that they can charge you more. Seems to be a theme amongst Indian owned properties.

Bed bugs. I was bit on the back and neck. Room smelled moldy. Asked for a different room. Lady at the front desk told me that all of the rooms were the same. The worst experience in all my stays in Motels and hotels. Also, when I complained to the lady at the front desk she locked the lobby and made me stand outside in the humid heat. I asked for Lysol or room refresher and was refused.

My room was full of mosquitos which really wasn’t pleasant. But the staff is great.

I kept trying to tell her my reservation. My instructions was. I needed it downstairs if possible close to The grass area because I have a dog. I paid for a double queen room access to wheelchair because my mom is 90 years old . The reason for wanting a room close to the grass area is because I was not gonna leave my mom in the room why I take my dogs all the way to the back. Well I had to settle for a room close-up front no yard for the dogs whatsoever. So this is how I had to do it when I want to take the dogs out to use the restroom. When I told her about my reservations, she was unbelievably rude. And which I told her I have never ever had a problem with this hotel I always highly recommend this hotel is still a recommendation but just don’t go when there is a short female lady working
