    I liked that the floors were hard surfaces and not carpet- that made everything feel cleaner. The bed was very comfortable- but it was very high- I am 5’1” and it was difficult to get into the bed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

    Our arrival was late in the evening on a Saturday. Although the location had complementary breakfast, our breakfast on both Sunday and Monday breakfast was cold. Tuesday evening after we spent the entire day out our bathroom wall decided to give way to loose and falling tiles. Our room phone did not work and for client amenities for laundry service, three out of four machines were out of order and we spent our visit time in a local laundromat. I would not recommend this location for another stay.

    Great little hotel that is budget friendly and very pleasant. Excellent staff who take pride in their jobs. Little extras like cookies, fruit water and 24hr coffee that tastes great. Carpets in the hallway could do with replacing.

    The location was great but the staff were amazing. The pool wasn’t open when we went in March. I understood it wasn’t in season but the weather was hot enough to have it open.     The rooms were a nice size, plenty of usable space and storage. On a scale of 1-10 for cleanliness we would give it a 7.5 because there was some detail cleaning that could done. The beds were comfortable, sheets were comfy and clean too. The breakfast was unfortunately nothing to write home about but we made it work with the bagels, juice and coffee. Some of the staff smoking right outside the front doors, limited front side parking, could use a more detailed attention to cleaning and the shower door allowed water to pour out if you didn’t have in the exact right spot.

    The property is up to date and clean. Rooms are modern. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Beds and pillows comfortable. Good location, close to food and amenities. The walls are paper thin and the people all around us were so incredibly loud, well into 1-2 a.m. And we had to get up at 5:30 so it made for a difficult stay. The guests here seem to be in large groups. You cannot control the room temperature and it was set at 74. (This isn't reasonable when the temperature outside is in the 80s.)

    Outside of the hallways smelling like smoke, the bathroom looked clean. The young woman at the front desk was so uncomfortably and unusually rude at our checkin. The bed made so much noise. It sits on a meddle box. It looks like an electrical box outside of your house.

    That is was quiet an I could fall asleep within minutes of my head hitting the pillow. I got to room to sleep. Because I don't get sleep at home much since I sleep in the living room an all kids have A room of their own. So slamming doors an dogs barking is what keeps me up. An for me to sleep 13hrs was a blessing it was much needed.!! I'd enjoy sleeping at this hotel anytime again!! Everything was great

    Staff wee great and location perfect for what we had going on In Aiken. The shower was dirty, also didn’t have the soap dispenser filled ( good thing I had brought a bar of soap) floors were dirty, very thin walls, windows and doors. You could hear everything going g on outside and I dice the hotel. Breakfast was terrible not many options.

She also stated that booking gets a fee and even if someone checks out early you keep the money. I did not like that my money was kept.

    The room was not the best with a cockroach walking on the wall while watching tv in the evening. Partial my fault I accidentally booked 3 night and only wanted 2. The person at the desk was not sure how to do a refund for one night so tried to get us to stay longer. Someone was supposed to call me back the next day and never did. I called and left 2 messages about my refund and never received a called back. When I check my credit card, apparently I got a partial refund.

    The first time I stayed here, there was dust visible on the tables in the room, I thought maybe it was just an oversight so I gave them a second chance. When I stayed the second time I was placed into a room with stains on the sheets and holes. The second room, they placed me in had stains on the sheets and the third had stains on the sheets, as well as the air conditioner being broken. I packed my bags and went to a different hotel.

    The property is easy to find. We arrived late and there were still a few dining options open within a 10 minute ride and a Walmart directly across the street. The hotel room and facilities were very clean. I had a great nights rest! The staff was friendly and accommodating; they didn’t miss a beat. I love that they use Dove products too. It eliminated the need for me to use my own…a definite plus and convenience. In all, I was very impressed with my accommodations and the price was very fair. It met and definitely exceeded my expectations…thank you!

    We stayed here while in town for a wedding. The staff were very nice, but the room left a lot to be desired. The baseboard in the corner had fully peeled off the wall, the lamps were crooked, and the mattress felt cheap. The lights in the room were terrible blue lights, something more fitting for an office than a place for sleeping. The rest of the hotel looked updated, so I was expecting more from our room.

    The rooms you could hear every noise possible from other rooms. Dogs barking and waking people up at 2-4am. Garbage truck outside window was loud at 5:30am. Breakfast wasn’t ready until after 7:30am when we were told at check in that it would be ready at 6:30am on a Saturday morning. The rooms were clean and nice but not a lot of space in the bathroom area to have privacy to get ready without waking other family members up.

    I wouldn't stay there again if I didn't have to. The walls are paper thin. We were given a joining room with a family that was very noisy and had a dog. They woke us up at 4:30 am being very loud. The staff was loud in the hallway bright and early. Barley got any sleep.

    I booked through Expedia because the rate was less than direct through IHG. The price was non refundable and I understand. But mid morning my wife called me to tell me that we had a water leak in our refrigerator and I needed to get home to resolve. I called to cancel and because it was an Expedia booking, no refund. As a result, I paid for a room I didn’t use but IHG got their money. In the future, no IHG properties and will be sure to let everyone know my experience.

    2:34pm- arrived and was told room was not ready, wait 30 minutes and come back 3:20pm- came back, was given room key and told it might be ready by front desk, went to hallway and saw house keeping was in almost every room, and they said my room wasn't ready and front desk didn't tell them it needed to be cleaned. Then house keeping and front desk staff got into argument and front desk staff later came down and threw key at staff and said a few choice words. Manger came in and was informed by front desk staff as to what happened, she paid no attention to customers in the lobby waiting, including myself. Grabbed the phone and walked off. Pool area was nice. Rooms were clean. Lots of lumber laying around front door.

    The property was disgusting. We were in town for a death in the family and had been up and driving over 18 hours when we got to the hotel. There was no security lock on the door. The carpets in the hallways and room was filthy. The closet door came off when my husband opened it and hit him in the head. The shower door was covered in soap scum. The bathroom sink didn't drain. The bed was at least acceptable enough to sleep in since we were stressed and exhausted. We left the next morning and the front desk person was rude and very unpleasant. I am still fighting to get my money back for the nights I didn't stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    We honestly thought the hotel was closed. It is taped off, half painted and there are roofers working and throwing trash all over the parking lot from the roof. They put us on the top floor and we had roofers at our window and making noise all day and until dark. There was roof debris in the pool and the workers were jumping in fully clothed.

    The room smelled horrible I had to ask for another one. The shower head sprayed everywhere and it was spots of old blood on curtain towel stuffed in a hole in the bathroom ceiling

    This is my second trip to Aiken and I love that everything is so central from the hotel, the staff is supper friendly I would definitely be back. I know they are still I. The process of renovating so that’s always good.

    This hotel was disgusting and in very poor condition. There was exposed carpeting drywall, and an overall dingy appearance and smell. The woman working the front desk was consistently away for more than 15 minutes at a time. There were multiple times where we needed her assistance urgently, and she was not available and not kind. The continental breakfast was disappointing. Overall, this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at.

    Let’s just say I should have read the reviews first. For starters, the third floor hallways had NO ac. You step off the elevator and get hit with a wave of hot air. The hallway carpets are stained and there are bits of trash everywhere. The rooms with double beds are tight. You had barely enough squeezing room between the bed and the standing closet. The shower had long black hairs stuck to the wall. The carpet and the comforters had stains. The curtains had what looked like mildew and a definite cigarette burn hole. For four of us, we used the 3 towels provided the first night. We asked for new towels the next day (the room was cleaned up but fresh towels were not left) and they told us there were no towels. We finally got only 2 fresh towels the third day there, after once again being told there were no towels at all. Breakfast was limited but decent. I will however say that one housekeeper was wonderful! She recognized us on our last day there and made sure we got clean towels again. When we checked out and left a pillow, she came down to our car to give it to us. She was a sweetheart!

    Both nights of my stay the electronic keys would not work and I had to go to front desk to have them reprogrammed. Room was in horrible condition. Drawers would not stay closed, broken glass in picture frames, no battery in smoke detector, lamp shades torn, lumps in carpet, A/C did not work properly and very noisy.

    Although they’re going through renovations, the hotel is exceptionally clean and the front desk women are extremely nice. I stay here every week and it’s my favorite hotel in Aiken, SC

    Property was under construction which wasnt an issue. except the fire alarms were covered in plastic and fire alarm in the room had no batteries. Staff said fire alarms still work when covered with plastic bags.

    I am always thankful for a place to rest my head but I will not be recommending this hotel or returning here in future stays in Aiken. The staff that I encountered were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The state of the hotel was not good and I am not even close to a picky person. The bed was clean and comfortable but a lot of the outlets didn’t work, the furniture was falling apart, the rug was dirty, the toilet seat was peeling, and the coffee maker water reservoir was full of coffee grounds which rendered it useless. Every smoke detector on my hallway was covered with a plastic bag and taped up (obviously they had been painting but yikes!). However, the breakfast was good and the coffee was delicious.
