Warm, helpful, staff! Very safe, comfortable and clean suite! Highly recommend this property!

The breakfast was a home run fresh, delicious, and with plenty of options to choose from each morning. Overall, the combination of cleanliness, excellent service, and great breakfast made for a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Clean, comfy beds, great breakfast, quiet and safe surroundings , close to OAK, pleasant staff, kitchenette if you wanted to warm up meals. Definitely a great place to stay if you come into OAK!

Nice, basic hotel stay. Staff are pleasant and friendly. I have to say that the breakfast was above average!! Everything tasted fresh and there were a few options-cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, waffles, juice, coffee.

The team was super helpful and went above and beyond. They were all super friendly!

Place was very clean and kept up nicely. Not sure why they charge a high daily fee for parking the place has plenty of parking. That didn’t seem necessary, and makes a huge difference on choosing a place to stay. It also wasn't explained to me at check in that I’d have a daily parking fee.

I always stay at this hotel during my visit to Oakland. The facility is always clean, the staff is always so helpful, and there is plenty of free parking.

Weekend stay. Staff was gracious and on top of everything. EV chargers conveniently right out front and nearby although they're not fast charging :(.

Staff was on point. The place was clean and well decorated. The bed was really comfortable and it the breakfast was also on point.

Airport noise , if you deep sleeper then its perfect.

Room was fine and bed was very comfy. Location made early morning flight easy next day. The big surprise was the breakfast. Huge, free buffet. Lots of fresh fruit, nice yogurt. I didn’t try the eggs, but everything look much nicer than what you usually get at similar hotels. All good

Great stay

Room was very spacious and clean. Elevators are spacious as well. The Breakfast was complimentary and very good. Parking on the property is $20 per night. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the surroundings area as well. Very safe property on the back side of the Oakland airport.

The room was not ready at check in, when finally available it was a room on the first floor in the elevator lobby, they said they were fully booked, I heard elevators the whole stay

Rooms clean check in fast

The place is very clean and well designed. Lots of little touches made our stay comfortable. There was dishes, soap, a dishwasher. The privacy curtain between the bed and coach was a nice touch. The chemical free body products were a nice surprise too. Our dog was welcomed as well. Just an over all wonderful relaxing experience.

The room was clean, the EV charger worked well, and despite there being only a couple of them, one was always free. Most chain hotels play music constantly in the lobby, often too loud, and have TVs on constantly that are also too loud. At this hotel, both were on low volume and not dominating the vibe. The free breakfast was pretty good - coffee was flavorful, and they even offered chicken sausage instead of pork sausage like most other hotels. The eggs were organic and farm-raised also.

This is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. This hotel is really well thought out. It has everything we need, which is great when traveling with our 5 year old. I even like the lighting in our room, which is really hard to find. The lights are nice and warm. Anyways, great stay. The only issue is walking distance to anything. Best to have a car when staying here.

Hopefully, they will consider more gluten-free options for guests that want to have breakfast

Very clean, comfortable accommodations. The room was spacious, with sofa, desk, microwave, refrigerator and kitchen utensils. Decent breakfast, not just continental. Very close to the airport, and they have a shuttle!

Easy access to the Oakland airport for a 6am flight. Didn't love that it was a $10 charge to the airport shuttle but it was convenient.

Excellent location vis a vis the OAK airport but somewhat inconvenient for restaurant options. On weekdays (M-F), there is a Harbor Bay Ferry boat service to San Francisco (only a 1 mile walk). There is a $16 parking fee for automobiles, which needs to be disclosed upfront. Overall the Home2 Suites is a nice option for staying in Alameda, particularly when the price is under $150 per night (including the parking and breakfast)!

The Arena. Would definitely stay here again. The hotel also seems very new. Check in was smooth, and the free breakfast was average.

They discriminate against certain bank cards. Even if you paid in full. I've stayed a few times in the last month and never had an issue until this stay. The front desk clerk was an older, black woman with black framed glasses sternly told me the don't take chime debit cards. It's not a prepaid and it has the visa/debit logo on it. I was so confused and felt uncomfortable. She just kept repeating that they don't take it and that she was only letting it "slide" for me. I asked the other front desk clerks and they seemed to be under the impression that it’s only for virtual wallets, cashapp cards, and prepaid cards. No one could give me a straight answer other than they would talk to upper management about it. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'll stay again. Which sucks because aside from this, i have enjoyed my past stays.

Easy check in, property was clean, food was decent and staff was very accommodating. Love the fact that it was pet friendly and pricing was very good. We’ll come back again in the future.

Nice location but bad WiFi connection

There was no desk lamp on the desk, just a desk lamp that was apparently meant to illuminate the dining area. If I'd stayed more than two nights I would have moved it to the desk. There was no pen or notepad in the room. Didn't realize how handy that was as I can't recall ever staying in a motel without this seemingly minor amenity. The refrigerator made such a noise when it was running that it was difficult to sleep. I unplugged it. (Room 235)

Shuttle driver was very courteous and helpful. Locking system for rooms was not working, so we had to change rooms three times. Gym was very good. Breakfast was adequate.

I just love the fact the hotel was near to the airport, Downtown Oakland and Alameda. It was great service, great breakfast bar, overall the best hotel I've stayed in for quite awhile.

Everything you need is there. The room modern and comfortable. The breakfast amazing!! The gym with the latest peloton machine towels etc. the area very safe and very close to market and Hwy. The only thing was the staff needs a little bit of costumer service training. The rest perfection. Bravo!

Perfect for the night before a very early flight. Hotel shuttle picked us up at the rental car return and then shuttled us to the airport the next morning, on time as scheduled.

The room was great! Clean and comfortable with enough space and everything you need for having a quick dinner before bed. The breakfast is included but limited options, good quality though.

I called to make a complaint like 3 or 4 times because people that were on the 4th floor kept stomping, walking back & forth, making noises. It was a few receptionists i spoke to & they said they'll let them know to keep it down, but they still kept stomping walking back & forth. We've been in this room at this location before & it's the most horrible experience we have had. Also, I paid for the room with my card & they said it was declined, but when I called my bank, they said it was approved but the receiptionist said it was declined. How is it declined when I had sufficient amount. So I had to use another card to pay for it. Now I have to wait 31 days for my funds to be returned. Just the most horrible experience I've had. From guests stomping walking back & forth & I feel like ain't nobody did nothing about it or to calm the guests up. The location is quiet & peaceful, but it's just the most horrible experience we've had. I've never had to go through this from cards getting declined to rude guests, & for the receptionists not doing anything about it.

I come here for a break from life’s every day busyness. Nice quiet area and occupants are normally pretty chill. Checking in was a breeze. Nicole (I’m sure I didn’t spell it right) made the check in personal with her being so easy to talk to. Breakfast was different but tasty.

Parking fee of $16 a day is outrageous! Breakfast options of “plastic food” is unwelcoming!

Nice facility. Rooms well set up for multi-day stay. Room large and thoughtfully designed with nice desk area, and curtain separating the bed from the couch and work area. The only problem was the bed- lumpy and uncomfortable. We’d be back, except for major concern

This property exceeded my expectations. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

My car was broken into, the vandals were caught on the hotel camera and identified by make/model car, and record of previous thefts. Althogh identified, nothing was done by the responding Alemeda PD. The damages to the car was over $1000.00.The car was not drivable as they attempted to steal it and s all of my possessions were lost and i was told " welcome to Oakland"

We enjoyed our stay here in Alameda. It was about a 15-20 minute drive to our concert in Oakland. Very clean. Great breakfast. Planes flew overhead but it didn’t bother us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. The only negative was a rowdy LOUD group of visitors in the elevator area on our floor at 2:45 am. ( our room was right by the elevator!)

Expedia took addition money from after i paid the cancelation fee that was asked of me and now blame the hotel which they have no controll over mynpayment. I did not go through the hotel so how or why would they be able to charge me anything. Been calling and the phone mysteriously hung up and now i can not reach anyone. Ringing with no answers or busy tone. I will be reporting this to corporate and BBB.

Best stay in the area and a very good breakfast.

Having just stayed at Home2 Suites in Hayward, this felt a bit less than. The kitchen did not have dish soap and sponge as the Hayward one had. Three pillows on the king size bed instead of four (had to break into the bedding kit for the sofa bed). The bed was softer and less comfortable. The side doors did not work with our hotel key as they did at Hayward.

I would totally stay here again as long as I am on the top floor or had quieter folks above us.

Our room was very clean and seems newly renovated. I liked that it has a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink, etc. Very convenient and excellent location.

Turkey Holiday mini get away with my son and we relaxed and watched movies. Top floor so we had a great view of the bay waters and San Francisco!! Last night there I took great Sunset pics. Had a Great time plus front desk personnel always friendly and helpful. My favorite spot ♥️

Stayed for a week during the holidays with my dog. Great location in a quiet office park area of Alameda. The nearby Oakland airport runway is not an issue, the rooms are very well-insulated for sound. Great walking trail on the Shoreline path all the way up to the ferry to San Fran. Newer building, super clean, good large breakfast option. Only about 7 min to the main Park St area of Alameda for dining options. You do need a car here.

The hotel is nice, but $16 per day for parking is ridiculous. It’s just a crowded outdoor parking lot.

Relatively minor annoyance's: At check in would have been easier to come in the main doors or given clear directions to the back door. We wandered around a while. TV was ok except the video will fade totally out many times. Figured out a hack but a hassle. I kept trying to fathom why we had to put a key card in a device to allow the lights to come on.

My only complaint was that the hotel quit serving breakfast before 10:00 am

Met our expectations

Everything was good. Only hiccup was the transportation as we requested an airport ride but the driver wasn’t available but they staff did call an Uber so only a slight delay.

Great location and amenities but lousy when it came to noise transference between rooms - could hear every step/movement of the guests in the unit above us.

The staff allowed a party of people to stand outside my window for 3hrs smoking weed and partying I reported they did nothing

So for some reason a lot of the switches didn't work in our room. the bathroom light didnt work. only 1 lamp was working in the entire room.

ridiculous for what I paid. It's 8 miles from Amtrak Emeryville, 25-30 minute drive. Breakfast was just meh.

It was a nice enough hotel and close to the family that we were visiting. We were on the top floor of the hotel and could get absolutely no cell services. We mentioned it several times and no one had a solution for us.

Overall great experience here, would definitely stay again. I liked that it was away right around the corner from Oakland but in a very safe and quiet location. Didn’t mind the airport drive there was no traffic. About an 8min drive from everything in Oakland we went for a concert at the Oakland arena. Great staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had so many options!
