No hot water in room and didn't discover until morning shower. No maintenance on hand to repair.

It was a really nice stay. The room was comfortable and offered more amenities than what we needed, (large refrigerator, sink, roomy cabinets). The bathroom was spacious and clean, and we were able to brin FB our dog which helped us save money for not having to board her back home.
- 3/5
Convenient stay for our trip. Close to restaurants. I found the property clean and safe
- 4/5
Do not remember being aware of a $10 nightly self parking fee when I made my reservation. Stayed on the 4th floor. Took quite a while to get hot water at times in the shower. Overall a good stay and very close to the attractions we wanted to see, avoiding the hassle of being in DC.

Room was clean and spacious. Kitchen area was useful with a dining room table. Would have like a couch or sofa. Otherwise great stay. Staff wasn't extremely friendly but were accommodating and pleasant. No sofa or couch for more than one person to sit at a time.

The check was fast, the room was very clean with plenty of towels. The bed was very comfortable, and the hotel very quiet. The next morning, I could take a breakfast before leaving. Perfect !
- 2.5/5
Seemed clean and well appointed. You could hear upstairs walking. Cable TV was broken. Coffee for coffee maker seemed too little for the pot.

HONESTY COMPARE TO MY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
- 5/5
amazing staff and services
- 1/5
Then they charged me for parking at the hotel premise. This hotel smells very stuffy and you only detect that when you move in newly, but you get acclimatize to the scent once you stay here for long. At least they can be cleaning the premises more effectively and using air refreshers as well. It's just courteous that they start placing some bottles of water and drinking glasses in the fridge for news customers that walk in !
- 5/5
Nice place, the room was plenty big enough for myself and my two sons to crash for the weekend. Staff at the front desk was personable and polite, made sure we were well taken care of.
- 4.5/5
Good customer service and good place to stay.

The heater in bedroom was broken and the fan could not be turned off. It blew loudly all night, forcing me to sleep on pullout couch. This was very uncomfortable! The front desk simply said they would check into it when we left.

- 5/5
The hotel was perfect nice bed room my mom came up and is in a wheelchair the bathroom was perfect for her and the room was huge bd the price was perfect
- 4/5
The beds are hard and hot water barley or doesn’t works.
- 2.5/5
That you where not told that you have to pay to park at the hotel. Like it’s very little space anyways and you’re having to pay to park. It’s not even a resort it’s a regular hotel and they want you to pay to park. Just don’t understand that
- 2.5/5
The bathtub did not drain properly. There were four of us and not enough towels upon our arrival. The toilet seat was damaged and looked like it had wet toilet paper stuck too it. We arrived at 4pm and had to wait to check in.
- 5/5
Mattress was “hard” but comfortable. I personally prefer a softer mattress.
- 5/5
The location is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the morning breakfast, fitness center and the gym. We had a great stay and recommend it to other travelers.
- 5/5
It was close to everything. Well, first of all they can get some new mattresses. The bed was so hard and second of all why are you charging someone $10 a day to park in a parking lot with no security?
- 5/5
Nice stay
- 5/5
I did not like that they charged us for parking per night that we stayed
- 4/5
I stayed at other Towneplace Suites and this Otis definitely showing its age. Breakfast was ok in a small area with uncomfortable seating. I like the kitchen area in these places. Hot water for shower was hit or miss. Overpriced for what it offers..for what I paid for a long wedding weekend.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good and the pool was nice
- 3.5/5
Many noisy hotel guests
- 5/5
Awesome stay perfect. Will certainly stay here again if I'm in the area. Quiet, clean and great service.
- 4.5/5
Clean , parking on property N/a
- 4/5
Property was great, staff were great, and close to restaurants, shopping, not far from MGM casino. I was stayed because of a friends funeral that day. The problem and it’s not hotels fault. A crazy 10 to 15 minute storm came through and killed power to 1/2 of the building, but the staff made sure that all guests were moved to a room with power.
- 2.5/5
Smell bad and lights went out price to high far hotel. I was charged double the rate. And charged twice they did apologize and said they sent refund for over charge. Just waiting for money ey hit bank haven't received yet
- 5/5
Very clean, the breakfast was delicious and the pool was heated just right.
- 2.5/5
House cleaning did not take dirty towels out. Load new towels oz did not know we had to ask for Adele.
- 5/5
I really liked the amenities at this hotel. From the fresh breakfast options to the indoor pool and fitness center. Also they are pet friendly with a reasonable fee. Our room had a kitchen area with microwave, fridge, and cooktop with dishes and pans. Decor was modern and room features were maintained well. Highly recommend this place! Would definitely return.
- 2/5
Night desk guy was rude and didn’t explain he was putting a hold on the card for incidentals and explain how much it would be, and when asked, seemed very annoyed someone would bother him.
- 4/5
Pool had no towels..
- 3/5
I stayed here for 5 nights/6 days and my 2 kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast. However, the first room we stayed at had an ant problem. We were scheduled for every other day room replenishing service, but that did not occur and there was quite a few ants even though we do our best to keep the room clean and tidy. I probably had to remove about 10-12 ants in less than 1 minute and asked the front desk to provide another room, which they did. This room was much better and there were no issues the duration of our stay. I did find the front desk representative to not be as helpful considering our situation and me having 2 young children. He questioned me a bit and then the next day there were no pool towels and I requested a few more and again he questioned me by asking if there are any because they replenished the towel rack earlier. I double-checked and confirmed that they had no towels and he provided me with the number I initially requested, but unsure why there was so much questioning coming from this one representative. The rest of the staff were lovely and helpful. Just check for ants before you settle in.

This was for a last minute family trip that required late reservation. The propwrty was conviently located in relation to what we needed to do. Overall it was a good property and a nice stay
- 3/5
I don't normally leave reviews. The staff was great!! The hotel was a little outdated. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. Overall it was an ok stay.
- 5/5
Very nice rooms and staff!
- 5/5
Very comfortable room, good breakfast and a friendly staff.
- 5/5
My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend trip. The room and hotel were safe, comfortable, spacious, and clean. The only problem we experienced was the hardness of the bed but we understand that is personal preference. We would stay here again if ever needed.
- 5/5
Good service and clean room
- 5/5
I wasn’t expecting the room to be so nice. Very clean and the amenities were nice. I’d stay here again.
- 4/5
The room was nice however the surrounding area there wasn’t much to do, and it was a little noisy for my taste
- 5/5
The staff deserve 5 stars. Always a great stay!
- 5/5
It’s always a pleasure to stay at this hotel!
- 4/5
Room was clean, bed was hard. Everything seemed very clean.
- 3/5
The room and kitchen where a good size. The only complaint would be the bathroom wasnt to clean the toilet lid had some kind of pink stuff on it. The pool was nice. Breakfast they had different options
- 5/5
Had a fantastic stay and will rebook in the future.
- 5/5
Nice location, clean hallways, fitness center and rooms
- 3/5
Very average. Should have been better given Marriott name. Rubber eggs for breakfast.
- 5/5
Very close to Mount Vernon.
- 5/5
This is a very convenient place to stay with free parking and a full kitchen. We were a group of 3 women traveling together and we felt safe here.
- 5/5
This was a very convenient location for our trip to Old Town Alexandria and DC. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was better than we expected and parking was safe and free. Plenty of stores and restaurants around if you need them. Having a kitchen in our room was a big help!
- 4/5
.
- 3/5
Was given an occupied room. Was then moved to a substandard room in need of a renovation. Elevators smelled bad. Staff was friendly enough and it was quiet and near enough to places we needed to go, but can someone explain to me why I was charged $440 for a $398 stay as was quoted and appeared on the receipt? What was the extra $50 charge for?!
- 4/5
The biggest problem was the pool being fiwn My son has Autism and needs thexwater. He said he would settle for a tub but when we got to the room the tub stopper was missing. The young lady at the desk went overxand above to help.
- 5/5
Clean spacious room. Great for a family stop over or extended stay with nice kitchen and well organized closet space.
- 4/5
The night manager was extraordinary.
- 5/5
The room was very spacious.
- 1/5
The room was infested with ants.
- 5/5
Great time
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice for a long weekend stay.
- 1/5
When we arrived to the hotel into the room. I tried to lay down in the bed and the bed collapsed. I fell on the floor and injured my knee. Then my sisters bed also collapsed and she almost fell over head first and injured her back. The customer service was not great when we called to let them know what happened they just told us to come downstairs and get a key for a different room and did not inform the GM of the occurrence. The next night we requested wash cloths and the front desk employee said hlwe could come to get them from downstairs but he would not bring them up with zero explanation as to why. The only staff the was very helful and friendly was the breakfast crew. Very great customer sevice from them.

Excellent location near George Washington’s Mt Vernon estate. Convenient to local necessity shopping and fast food choices.
- 3/5
This place was amazing on the outside & lobby . Once we got to the elevator , one out of order, once we got to the room the key didn’t work , we got a new key & when we went in there were dirty rags in the bathroom still as if the room wasn’t properly cleaned . We complained & they said they can clean the room but not by a house keeper since it was late or we can check out since we booked through a 3rd party . We had to stay in a nasty half cleaned room until we seen a trail of ants in the window seal . Disgusting . We checked out and I demand a refund !!!!!
- 4/5
The hotel was nice. The area it was in was not to nice
- 5/5
No issues at all during my stay
- 4/5
Staff was helpful.
- 5/5
Perfect from start to finish; courteous staff; easy check-in; quiet and clean.
- 3/5
I give 6 out 10, if the mattress were softer then 9 out 10.
- 4/5
The rooms are spacious and the kitchenette is very convenient especially when traveling with little ones. The breakfast has a nice variety of hot and cold options. The pool was great to have for our kids, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Person at reception desk sneezed into his hand as he was preparing the key. When I pointed that out to him, his response was "don't worry about it". I felt it necessary to wash the key and my hands after touching the key.
- 4/5
Pool was full of little ones and teen agers screaming and crossing boarders.

- 5/5
All of the staff are super friendly, and the breakfast was good :)
- 4/5
Reasonable hotel for the area. Not the best, not the worst. Area around the hotel is a little questionable, so don’t plan to walk anywhere.
- 1/5
We stayed for 4 days for my brother's funeral. When we arrived, we had just driven 8.5 hours and hoped for a smooth check in to a clean suite. The kitchen area was dirty. The stove & burners were filthy. Someone's eyeglasses were on the counter. The carpet was dirty & the couch looked broken. When my son pulled out the sofa bed, the springs were squeaky and the mattress sagged horribly. There was hair in the tub. There's no exhaust fan in the bathroom and oddly, there is a vent in the ceiling so dirty that it looked furry. The bedroom carpet was dirty & and the bed was rock hard. We called about the state of the room. We needed towels, there was only 1/2 a roll of 1ply TP on the roll, and no pillow for the sofa bed. When I spoke to the front desk person, she told me she could bring up towels & TP. She said it would be a while because she was by herself, no pillows were available, and housekeeping had already left for the day. We were so tired, we stayed in the room and figured housekeeping would clean it the next day. I called in the morning about the situation and was told the night person was new and it would be corrected that day. We had no housekeeping service for the additional 3 days. We had to ask for towels/TP every day. We had to ask for someone to come take the garbage away after the 2nd day. This lack of service made a horrible time in our lives so much worse. This is not a cheap hotel. We expected more from a Marriott. Do yourself a favor, stay elsewhere.
- 5/5
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed the front desk clerk was amazing
- 5/5
The property was clean and well cared for. The staff was friendly and efficient.
- 5/5
Seems like you thought of everything that would make our stay perfect. The best room ever. The breakfast was wonderful! Thanks!
- 5/5
Nice hotel. New and clean. HOT shower.
- 4/5
Clean and reasonably priced
- 5/5
It’s really clean and nice
- 5/5
Awesome stay,..great staff…thank you!
- 3/5
As others have said, there was no parking available when we arrived on a Saturday night. The person at the desk did make an effort to move his car. The rest of the stay parking was open. Still it’s not something I would want to worry about when arriving later. Also I don’t usually notice noise but it sounded like people constantly running back and forth. Room was ok, everything seemed clean but a little older.
- 5/5
I really enjoy staying at this hotel and I had to book a room last minute and thankfully they had rooms available.
- 5/5
The room was big enough for handicap to get around
- 1/5
I was unable to prepare food that was purchased for our stay. So additional expenses were incurred to feed my family because of this water issue. I was very unhappy about this. I've stayed at this property over a dozen to times and even after the shampoo rack falling off and hitting my foot..I still returned. Never again!!!
- 4/5
This is a nice hotel . Was disappointed the pool was closed and was charged $75 for having a dog . The room was spacious with a large refrigerator and kitchen . Beds were very comfortable and good choices on the TV like HBO , Showtime and Youtube . Great breakfast . Good location .
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
I love the option to use the outdoor grill
- 5/5
Very clean, new, well appointed rooms.
- 5/5
The girl that was working at the front desk was great and welcoming
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay. I felt at home.
- 5/5
JUST COMFORTABLE
- 4/5
Fairly typical 2.5 star extended stay hotel. “Suite” means it has a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and 2-burner cooktop. No surprises. Shower is showing unattended mold, which shouldn’t be there only 2 years after opening.
- 5/5
We had room with kitchen and 2 queen beds. Room was clean and good sized. When we arrived late Friday there wasn’t any parking left except two handicap spots. When we alerted front desk to the issue the clerk came out and moved her car so we could have a parking spot. All the staff was very friendly.
- 2/5
Hotel ran out of parking spaces both nights we were there and we had to park in a Wendys parking lot. some cars were towed away
- 5/5
Very nice facility
