Nice hotel. Not too big, personable. The only thing was the people seemed to be stomping and running around the room one day.

Plenty of parking , easy access , fast check in and check out . Breakfast was average …overall 3.5 out of 5

My daughter and I had the best stay at this Holiday Inn Express! The room was clean and spacious, and all of the employees were warm and welcoming. We were very impressed with the breakfast provided as well. The complimentary breakfast included everything from cereal, fresh fruit, and danish, to bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

I was charged more than I was supposed to be for a 2 night stay . I also had an extra fee for something that I was not told about and never got a receipt.

We were checked into room 209. The bathroom was dirty with hair on the floor. The pillow smelled like body odor. I let the front desk know about the problem and requested housekeeping to clean the bathroom and bring fresh pillows. Although the front desk told me the issue was taken care of, unfortunately only two pillows were dropped off on the bed. I have before and after pictures that I showed them at check out I expected to pay for a clean room and restful night with clean pillows

Shower did not drain, towels had holes, breakfast was old and dry. Couldn’t get in through the front automatic door on multiple occasions.

Staff here is amazing. They have a lot of pride in their property and go out of their way to help you when needed. This is an economical hotel with heart. The most comfortable beds and pills!! A must try. FYI - they no longer take pets. Service animals yes, but pets no. It’s a shame because my puppy loved it here.

Everything was clean. It was a good stay overall. Staff were nice. The only complaint was the kitchen ran out of regular milk. I drink milk daily so it was disappointing. I’m not sure how a hotel runs out of regular milk over a holiday weekend when you have all the cereals displayed.

The service was horrible. Rools could use cleaning. The poor customer service starts all the way from the manager.

The hot tub was cemented in so no hot tub. The pool was freezing. In the morning our keys stopped working and 10:30 with check out at 11 and they made it a big deal to reenter our room. Over all better places to stay then there.

Staff was always very friendly. Free breakfast was like any other but nice to have available. The location is amazing. All the restaurants and stores you could want are within a 2 mile radius. Now my complaints. While it was nice to have a nice smelling room, the wall plug ins eventually began to have a chemical smell. The heater that was under the window was slightly pulled away from the wall so cold air came in and wind was loud. I wanted to do laundry. I understand it would cost money. However, why have quarter machines with no change makers and no way to get quarters? The noise level from the room above me was like there is no insulation at all. When people walked up there it was like a herd of elephants. The night before I had to get up at 5 am to catch my flight home I was awoken from a sound sleep to a loud LOUD pounding sound. At 1:30 am someone was having spicy time. I don’t know how the bed didn’t come through the ceiling, not just some noise but loud enough to make me wonder if there was construction going on! I didn’t have my room clean daily, but one day when I did want it cleaned they neglected to make the bed. Last but not least… the only place I was ever barefoot was in the bathroom of my room. I came home with a nice case of athletes foot.

We were given an adjoining room and the amount of noise the came through the adjoining door was unbearable. On the third night staff offered to move us but had seen the occupants of the other room checked out. So we said as long as no one is booked there for the next two nights all is good. Unfortunately this did not happen for our last night.

Nice pool

The staff was so friendly and offered to help with anything we might need. The breakfast was so good, we went down all 3 mornings. (The bacon was amazing) The location was perfect, so close to restaurants and stores. Parking was perfect, it was so quick and easy to come and go. We didnt use the pool but it looked nice and clean. Overall, i would 100% recommend this Holiday Inn Express and will stay again next time i am in the area.

When we arrived back to the hotel later that evening and were able to check I , the 3 rooms were all VERY separate. (Floors). We got our bags and went to our rooms. I went to get my mom settled first and the roo She was assigned was not clean or the bed made up. Somehow the front desk person (not Tina) was able to assign another to us. Room was clean, elevators and halls were not. A quick sweep of the elevator would have been nice was there 5 days and was never done. Breakfast nook area: the woman who cleaned wiped down the garbage can, then proceeded to wipe coffee machines n counter with same rag yuck! Tables were poorly cleaned as well. Did not eat breakfast any of the days after seeing that.

This was very clean & quiet. The breakfast was very good.The staff was there to meet all of our needs & very efficient.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room looked until I got the microscope out. After further investigation, the bathroom was fairly bright and clean but the shower was full of what looked like urine stains down the middle. Let’s just say I was disgusted. Overall, the hotel looked fine to the naked eye but needed some tlc. Oh well I’ll stay elsewhere next time.

The rooms are very clean and inviting. The staff was very friendly. Easy parking. Breakfast was standard continental breakfast. The main thing is, you had a cool/warm place to sleep and got fed. Would use again.

However, after returning to our room following our visit with our new grandson I noticed the floor was wet near the air conditioner. The room was also smelling more musty than when we first arrived. We did not complain as it as late. I laid a towel down to absorb water. We told the front desk when we left of the problem.

Need to have air conditioners checked particularly when it is humid and warm. It was loud almost all night.

Definitely enjoyed the breakfast selection in the morning.

Comfortable bed

CON’s- booked on Travelocity and was given the price of $145 for Friday and $145 for Saturday. When we checked out we were told they charge more on Saturdays. So we were actually charged $304 for Saturday. Waiting on a return call from the property to discuss with a manager. If they charge more on Saturday why didn’t the price reflect that when we booked it????

Really nice. The elevator sucks. Only one. If you are one the second floor the down button doesn’t light up. The rest was great.

Building and area was great, very quiet and clean! Wish the beds were a little softer but I also have back issues and need a softer mattress. Other than that was perfect!

Evening staff and cleaning staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was clean quiet and beds were comfortable.

Overall, the rooms are nice and very comfortable. You are best going down early for breakfast otherwise it gets a little bit dry, but there is hapes to choose from or pretty much anyone including healthier options. My only complaint would be the air conditioning units. They are very very loud and go on and that's all night. Powerful for when it's hot but incredibly loud and there really isn't. No quiet fan mode. Bring earplugs.

Overall, our stay was fine. Room was comfortable, AC worked great, and hotel was quiet. However, we were very disappointed with the lack of the usual cinnamon rolls at breakfast. For years we've been coming to Holiday Inn Expresses and this is the first time that cinnamon rolls were not found. This is one of the primary reasons for booking. Hopefully this was just a temporary glitch.

Check in was fine and staff very accommodating. HUGE complaint - the tub is very slippery, and my husband fell. He is okay, but it was a scary moment.

Our room was very clean and quiet. Check in and out was really quick.

The only complaint I have is the terrible housekeeping service. I never got new toilet paper, Kleenex or coffee. I was there three weeks and all they ever did was make my bed and change towels. That’s it. My floor was never washed, and the floor was never vacuumed. Everything else was wonderful, and the people were friendly.

Was contacted BY THE PROPERTY the morning of reservation regarding status of payment and while on that call, asked for availability of early check in by just 1 hour and was told no problem. So proceeded on a 3 hour drive there. Arrived at property and was told they knew nothing of such a promise or who would have even called me from their own staff despite showing them the inbound phone call. Was nearly read my rights by housekeeping manager suggesting per their website check in was the 3pm time (no kidding unless you have staff grant your request otherwise). Then was told room could be ready by 2:30…finally ready and checked in after 3:20pm … later than “posted time on their website”. Not cute and very accusatory to a guest the property reached out to in the first place and offered accommodations.

Everyone was friendly. The breakfast & its variety was very good. Booking the room and check in was extremely easy. The interior design & shape of the bathtub made it very slippery, which could lead to dangerous slip & falls. More adhesive non-slip pads could possibly help ?

I booked a two bed hotel room. When I arrived, I checked in like normal. It wasn’t until my family and I made our way up to the room that we found they gave us a 1 bed room, and had no 2 bed rooms available. I had to leave and pay more at a different hotel, not to mention the inconvenience of moving my family in, out and back into another hotel.

The Manager Alison had a terrible, UNPROFESSIONAL attitude that really unacceptable, she was very Rude and uneducated on charges being applied to guest, she had a distasteful Demeanor about herself, she gave off unpoliteness unkindly, vibes as if something she was angry about, which didnt have anything to do with me. The cleaning staff and the young ladies that works under her that I had interaction with was very professional and willing to answer any question I had with great customer care, the manager need to be fired!!!

Bed was uncomfortable as it was sinking in the middle and felt if we moved too much it would break. Staff wasn’t able to print us a receipt and wasn’t very friendly upon checkout.

Only catch is, there is no insulation between rooms or floors so if you have a noisy neighbor you will have to speak up and call the front desk.

I didn't care for the hardness of the bed, but that's a personal preference - I actually borrowed an anti-gravity chair from my family to sleep in. Everything else was enjoyable. You need to have Anti-Slip stickers put into the tub. I think there were some at one time, but I was very fearful of falling.

Very clean facility. Convenient to stores and restaurants. Family friendly. Next to a high school and good restaurant “Syrup”. The hotel breakfast is basically the same every day, needs variety. Breakfast will run out by 9:30 am. A couple of customers and I asked the breakfast lady if she was going to bring more and she said that it was about to end. I brought this up with two different members at front desk. Hope they sort this out.

Empty beer can in bathroom and was overpriced,showed 144.00 a night and it ended up 144.00 for one night and 150.00 for second night , then charged my card for a total of 450.00 ,way over priced for what it was

Very convenient to Lake in the Hills and Randall Road area. I felt the price for one night was rather high, but I'd stay here again if the price was right.

It was clean and linens were fresh; breakfast was consistently getting refilled despite a busy clientele. Night manager was friendly, too. Unfortunately, they were booked solid and it was clear that they needed the rooms turned fast; housekeeping was trying to get into them ASAP and there was no accommodation for late checkout. Decent value for the money on a busy summer weekend; just needs a few details managed.

Horrible! Wet carpet! Asked the front desk to help with closing the shades as the parking light was shining into the room… The front desk told me that is just the way it is ? I responded with I can’t believe there’s no curtains or a blackout shade ! No there is nothing l can do about it…So at 5:30 in the morning the sun was rising in my room! I went out to get my belongings from my car when I noticed other rooms had window covers! I showed to the young man who spent much more outside smoking than understanding his job description! I showed him how to close the secondary shade! He had absolutely no remorse or apology for the inconvenience! I barely slept due to lights at night and sun in the morning!!!

45 dollar charge for incidental's for what no bar in room . saturday one bed made the other not no glasses replaced. Front desk said they would take care of it but no they did not .9at night I had to go down and get glasses . desk just said oh yeah.

Staff is extremely kind and helpful, breakfast had great options, room and hotel and pool were clean.

We arrived late at night after a long day of travel. We were woken at 5:30am with spot lights and bobcats outside our room (which did not have a room darkening shade). Upon speaking with Angela at the front desk she helped move us to the other side of the hotel to ensure a better nights rest. She was kind and courteous.
