Clan room and comfortable bed. Nice shower and clean towels. Fridge to keep drinks cool for long road trip.

Pillows were musky, old phones with outdated charging options. Room was not maintained and had broken accessories. Floors, baseboards, legs of chairs, basically anything not surface level was extremely dusty. Bathrooms were visibly not scrubbed sadly had stained surfaces and towels.

I was charged once by Expedia and again by the hotel for our stay. The hotel is trying to resolve this but i have yet to receive the credit.

The walls were quite thin, we could hear a baby crying throughout the night. There was a slow drain in the bathroom, created standing water. There were hairs of someone else on the bathroom floor. The two staff when I checked in were not friendly, they were odd. I would not stay again.

The hotel was one of the better hotels I have stayed in for a while. The staff was especially helpful, going out of their way to assist when needed. The room was very well kept. The only criticism I have is the A/C was somewhat noisy, but the staff attended to it when I reported it.

The check in was very easy, and the location if travelling on I-40 is convenient. Room was clean. The TV didn't work in the room. We called to see about another room, but tapparently it is a hotel issue at present. I had to fiddle with the back of the tv myself to get anything to turn on, but they charged us full price for the room. Additionally, the shades seem to be missing the black out portion, so we had a tough time trying to fall asleep with lights from the neighboring hotels and interstate coming into the room. To boot, the sun woke us earlier than we had wanted after a 9 hour drive in the dark!

I came expecting the best. Everything was fine until I asked the young lady at the front desk if she had any local menus. Which is a common thing that a lot of places have for guest. She looked at me like I was stupid. As I was getting ready to go up to my room I looked back at her and she was rolling her eyes. I said something and she acted like I was stupid. I go up to my assigned floor and looked at my key and she did not write or told us our room number so I had to walk back down to get it. I needed some ice and when I saw the ice machine I almost threw up. Other than that everything was fine.

Both beds were terribly soft that it made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. When checking in, we had to wait nearly 20 minutes for an employee who appeared to be doing double duty as the bartender.

The room was very nice in a safe feeling neighborhood. The only thing is the shades are kind of shear and the parking lot lighting is too bright. It keeps us up, the bed was nice but we didn’t sleep well because of the shades. Good breakfast is worth the $8 a person if it’s not included in the room price.

It was a very comfortable, quiet, and clean hotel with friendly staff. We got in late and appreciated that there were salads and drinks for purchase at the bar. Obviously, it is a mid-range hotel, but I am giving it 5 b/c it delivered what it promised.

Check in was OK. When I got to my room, it was ice cold. Turned the heater up, which worked great but could not find the source of this cold. Turns out there was actually wind coming through the window sealing. Stuffed towel around it. Turned on TV, channels won’t change.. picked up phone to call front desk about TV and room phone doesn’t work. Called main number with my cell phone. They answered “we’re busy checking in other guests” and put me on hold. I finally gave up. Looked all around the bed for an an outlet for my CPAP and there isn’t a plug on either bedside table. Had to dig behind the mattress to find a plug. Next morning, wanted to sleep in to get some rest, but the housekeepers were busy doing their rendition of “ yelling and laughing at each other from both ends of the hall”. Finally gave up and checked out where I told the front desk about the room issues and they acted as if they couldn’t care less or had heard it numerous times before? The only reason I’m even giving two stars is the fact that the room tea kettle worked and the shower was great. Bed was OK but did not have enough covers because of the window issue. In retrospect should have asked for a new room, but I was too tired. Will not be ever staying here again.

Customer service wasn’t super-friendly at any point of the stay. Very perfunctory rather than genuinely polite. When walking around the lobby with my child in the morning, I was repeatedly asked by staff in an almost forsuspicious manner if I had been “checked in” for breakfast, I.e., had I paid for breakfast. Very odd interaction to be that on edge about ensuring people pay for breakfast. Breakfast should be complimentary or included in the room price at a hotel of this caliber. I travel often for work and I never have to pay for breakfast in many hotels at this level (or even lesser quality). I have stayed at another Hyatt Place elsewhere in TX (College Station) and breakfast is included there. The rooms were very cold and it felt like the heat did not get hot enough to keep the room truly warm. It was snowing the day we left, so the temperature was pretty low overnight. The outside temperature definitely dropped the room temperature a lot and it kept waking my baby up. The pack-and-play in the room was of low quality. Mattress was thin and you could feel the support bars through it. Anytime our baby would move around she would wake up from being cold or uncomfortable. Finally, the pack-and-play was set up in the room with a bunch of hotel sheets folded up around the mattress. I’m sure the person who set it up meant well, but that isn’t considered safe sleep for a baby.

The hotel looked brand new. Super clean and super safe. We got in late at night and left the next morning but everything was great. Would definitely stay there again for sure.

Room was very clean and set up nicely. Blackout blinds were very nice. The advertised free breakfast is actuall $8.00 per person. It is comparable to a continental simple but adequate breakfast. We even had to bus our own table. Staff was very professional and personal.

My husband and our youngest stayed here on their way to Houston and we (as a family) were doing the trip for Christmas and he told me he wanted me to book this hotel on our way back to Colorado! We stayed in the Drury on our way to Houston and i was VERY disappointed in that hotel! Let me tell you that i was VERY thankful we stayed in the Hyatt on the way home! We have stayed in almost all the hotels in that area and for now on we are ONLY staying in the Hyatt!!

The staff was courteous and friendly upon arrival, which made check-in pleasant. The hotel appeared newly decorated, and the room décor was attractive. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. There were hygiene wrappers on the floor under the bed, and it was evident that the bedding, including the covers and pillowcases, had not been changed. This significantly impacted the overall experience.

I was met with an extremely nice woman at check in, I wish I could remember her name. Our room was extremely clean and modern and grounds the were well maintained. We traveled with our poodle and she had to go out at 4 am and I felt completely safe taking her out to the designated dog area. It was well lit up and a staff member was in the lobby. We did not eat breakfast as we are on a tight schedule.

For a newer place, the rooms weren’t in very good condition. Beds were creaky and lumpy, nowhere to charge anything anywhere near the beds (like on nightstands). Drain in bathroom was cut in a way that felt dangerous. Female staff member at breakfast was so rude we decided not to eat even though it was included in our rate, which she asked us to PROVE and after we had, she asked us to also prove it was for two people not one. One would think she could’ve asked the same person at the desk we had to ask (who she was closer to). At that point we didn’t feel comfortable even staying.

Only Hyatt Place with $8/person breakfast charge I've seen nationwide. No AC convenience outlets at nightstands, per Front Desk, had to pull bed out to access worn out plug...had to disconnect lamps and clock to get socket that was not loose (fire hazard against bed). My key card was programmed to not open rear lobby door, had to walk perimeter to reset it.

The location is good but the entryway is not very prominently displayed and obscured by road construction. Accessible shower and room was very nice, but being placed down the hall on the second floor is potentially problematic due to the dependency on the elevators. Friendly, helpful staff!

It was nice and clean. Wish breakfast was included - I missed that it wasn't when booking, but that's on me. Other than that, all was great. Very clean and comfortable. It was just a stop on our move, and we got in a lot later than expected, so we didn't get to use the amenities like the pool, so I cannot speak to those.

Also, the hotel is very cheap! They charge for everything! No bottle water, they have a person guarding entry into the breakfast area to make sure you pay $8.00 for the breakfast! I travel a lot and have never been charged for so much and received so little! I won’t be back!

This low rating is for the extremely loud air conditioning unit in our room. Also, the sink faucet was hard to use. Quite a few dings in the walls. There are so many choices in this area, I would stay somewhere else next time

There was no microwave in the room. There was one in the dining area. During breakfast i had to ask that it be at out. There are only two ice machines in the motel. The one on our floor was out of order. Breakfast was good but was an add on amenity. Staff was courteous and helpful. Review asks for an eco friendly rating. That's the last thing on my mind when I'm traveling.

Hotel is nice but you can’t walk to dinning options such as restaurants. Hotel bar and food very limited. No Bombay Gin and dinning options not adequate. We would not stay here again mainly due to location. We do stay in Rocklin California many times and will continue to do so because we can walk to various dinning options.

Did not communicate to me they were sold out the night before my reservation, When I called and told them I was driving 14hours through the night to get there and needed to check in at 6am. 60$ for early chk in and told it was based on availability. Should have said its based on availability and we are very busy so it will be very difficult to chk u in at 6am. Instead when i arrived at 6am they told me they couldnt get me in till 12-1pm. Very poor communication!

The bathroom made me cringe. There was tons of missing grout in the floor tiles and the shower looked like it only gets wiped down at best. When going to the workout room it appeared that is the general expectation for cleanliness. There were many water stained ceiling tiles, dirty vents with debris hanging, peeling paint and/or tape in the hallway, and the water and ice dispensers were disgusting. Their internet was down and were manually checking everyone in so I didn’t try to move as it seemed to be more hassle than it would be worth and the conditions of the rest of the property didn’t seem like a room change would fix the situation anyway. Oh, and one of the beds was missing a bed skirt. Not what you would expect after dropping almost $250 for a room for the night.

Our room wasn’t ready they sent us away for 30 minutes. We came back and they sent us away for 10 minutes. It seemed like both front desk people were new and slow. The grout in the bathroom was off color and coming up. The water in the shower was very weak.

The rooms are very noisy. The family next door decided all the kids in their party should stay in there while they hit the "bar" downstairs and we could hear every word. Granted they were yelling but still, after a long day of travel i wanted sleep but to hear 10 year old boys screaming at 11pm. Super loud. The hotel is very well kept and the staff is friendly.

After an eight-hour drive, I was glad to see there was a full, although small, bar. Lots of places to eat that are walkable but you have to cross a busy street in potentially overwhelming Texas heat, so driving is probably wise. I would stay here again.

My significant other, my dog, and I stayed at this property as we passed through Texas on our way to Utah. It was dog friendly and I would stay here again with my dog. The property was clean and we were all comfortable. The rooms were spacious and the bed was especially nice in comparison to most hotels. We are considering staying here again on our drive back.

This hotel is nicely designed and well maintained. The swimming pool was a perfect temperature. The front desk young folks were very helpful and welcoming.

The from desk clerk (Kent) made check-in with ease. He was very professional. He offered front door parking spot for peace of mind since i checked in late. Newer property in great aera

The room was good and the bed very comfortable. On check in the gentleman at reception stuffed a handful of food in his mouth before speaking to me with a mouthful of food and chewing the whole time. There was nobody about at checkout and myself and another guest stood for 5 minutes before a member of staff appeared from somewhere and said she could take our keys from us
