A great place to stay outside of the busyness of Phoenix!

Rooms are very nice. Beds & pillows extremely comfortable. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Property well maintained. We especially appreciated the hot breakfast. Omlettes, breakfast meat, hard boiled eggs, freshly made oatmeal & make-your-own waffles, to name just a few. Yum😋 A great stay!

Location, comfortable bed. Bathroom dirty with mold. Numerous amenities were broken and not available, eg, hot tub, peloton bike, both treadmills.

The location was great, staff was very nice and ready to fix any problem we had (will explain in the next section). Overall great stay. Our door malfunctioned with our keys so we had to change rooms a day or 2 into our stay. The pullout couch in the new room had stains on the sheets. The ellipticals were out of service the entirety of our stay which made the already small workout room feel smaller.

We left our room at 10AM the 3 rd day we were there and did not get our room serviced by housekeeping because they said we had our “Do not disturb” sign out, we did not! We were fine at 10AM and spent all day out. We left by 9AM the next day and same thing, no service to our room. We stayed for 5 days. NOT HAPPY

Our car broke down and we were able to get a last minute room at a good price. It was easy to get to. They made it the best in the situation.

The shampoo didn't really seem to suds up so we had to use significantly more than what we normally do, and the conditioner didn't seem to soften your hair and that was after again using a significant amount.

No restaurant, but very close to several good restaurants. It seemed the cleaning staff neglected to pay attention to the bathroom amenities were empty or nonexistent. When we brought it to the front staff, the problem was corrected quickly.

It was just ok. Could have been nicer considering the price. Next time probably look elsewhere. Staff were very nice. Air conditioning unit was very loud. Complimentary breakfast not very good. Could have at least had a Keurig in the room and a microwave for the price.

The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was great with several options, food was hot, access to the parking was convenient, the room was spacious and clean, and the location was close enough to the highway for easy access around Phoenix.

We had a nice stay there with family. Our rooms were one floor apart directly above each other, but close to the stairwell, so we could easily get between rooms. The HVAC system was extremely loud, which made it difficult to sleep.

Drain in bathroom clogged. Tub not clean.

It was so clean, and the staff was exceptional and very hospitable. The breakfast and breakfast area were very well done. I will always stay at this hotel when in Anthem visiting my grandson. Thank you.

Very limited parking if you have a large truck or vehicle. If you have a trailer, you'd be screwed. Reserved a room with a King, got 2 queens. Television has no ability to allow you to connect to streaming channels (netflix ect.), standard channels and Showtime. This was a $350 room with the amenities of a Motel 6.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The shampoo and soap smelled nice. We were there for a 100K race which started before normal breakfast hours, and the staff provided special on the go food and water for us. The regular breakfast had a great variety, and I was thrilled to find sugar free syrup and jam. There were many toppings provided for the waffles and oatmeal - even tiny heart sprinkles for Valentine’s Day! Very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

It was clean! Specifically booked this hotel for the pool and because its halfway from our destination and where we flew in... paid 158$ to get to swim and relax.. get here no pool. No where to go no compensation.. very disappointed to travel across the United States and just get nothing that you pay for!

The staff was very courteous during our stay. The room was located next to the elevators and ice machine, but we did not hear a sound while sleeping. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed was ultra comfortable and there were many pillows to choose from to get a restful night's rest. Breakfast had many choices and was tasty.

We love to stay at this location when we visit Lake Pleasant. Staff is very helpful, the location is convenient to everything, and the early breakfast saves us time and money on our way to the lake. For this price point there is nothing lacking :-).

I had to checkout - the wireless did not work. The USB ports in room 203 were all broken with the exception of one. The front office receptionist was rude and told me the wireless was working for everyone and I could just leave if not happy with a full refund, but refused to give me anything written about the refund. She said she’d text her boss - and the. told me I had to go to my room to wait for a reply that never came. The room was filthy -! hair all over the carpet. I hope that I can get that refund - i stayed less than 30 minutes.!!

Clean room and comfy bed. A/C worked great with optional fan on option which was important as our room was next to the elevator. The best part was a noon checkout and breakfast had two flavors of waffles in 2 sizes-mini and standard! How fun! We'd never seen that before. Plus scrambled eggs and maple sausage patties, seasoned potatoes, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal with toppings, and pastries. The juice dispenser was set to watery (disappointing), but there were great tea flavors and 2 creamer choices (I'm always surprised at how uncommon that is nowadays!) with 24 hour coffee in the lobby. We would definitely come back.

Room had plenty of space and all the amenities you could need. The staff asked several times if we had everything we needed. Plus they have a great breakfast with eggs sausage or bacon and waffles. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

Downstairs has a small microwave.

Upon check in, female came out. I couldn’t understand her. Speaking low and broken accent (Slavic maybe)? I had to ask her to repeat what she was saying a few times. Not friendly. When I asked her what $20 charge was over my paid price, she said it was for “incidentals. Would be deducted if we didn’t use it. No explanation what it was for. ”Had her name tag hidden with her hair covering it. I stayed here over two years ago. Seems the same. Clean, but could be better, especially in my room. TV menu card had dried food on reverse. Air conditioner was making loud noises off and on. Sounded like a large truck engine starting, then would go into quieter mode, then shut off. Checkout experience was much better. Female VERY friendly. Yes, I would stay here again. Need friendlier female to “welcome” guests and be somewhat enthusiastic.

They were accommodating. I have a dog so they put me on the first floor by the dog area. The temperature in the room was perfect.

This was a comfortable stop on our way back from the Grand Canyon - a girls trip. Everything was clean, comfortable, seemed new, good breakfast, and we enjoyed the pool. The only negative was the lack or limit of wifi, but otherwise it was a great stay.

We also had an incident with someone trying to gain entry into our room. Thankfully, we had the secondary lock on the door, but they managed to unlock the door and try to push it open--twice. When I reported to the front desk the following morning, they dismissed it as it was probably a staff member. " At 10 p.m.?" When I reported to the manager via email upon checkout on Monday (she was out all weekend), she basically told me I was mistaken, as her logs didn't show any entry with the locks. Really?! Experienced traveler, and I know when someone is trying to enter the room. Unbelievable. I've also never been told I was lying and "mistaken" because their logs didn't show any entries. What? There are no cameras, so they basically told me I was imagining things, and with a very strong implication that I made it up. Unreal. Avoid this property--completely mismanaged.

What I did not like was our original room had a really strong smell as if it been heavily sprayed with fabreeze to cover up a really bad smell, it did not work. We moved rooms to the second floor room 212 which did not smell, however the below the widow air conditioning was completely worn out. When ever the compressor switched on for cooling it was like having a diesel pickup next to the bed. Not one nights good sleep. The breakfast for the room price I did not expect a lot but synthetic eggs, micron thick bacon on one day only. Very poor. The competition is Holiday inn express and they win hands down. I would not stay here again

We enjoyed the pool

I’ve never had such a horrible experience at a hotel. The older woman at the front desk (white, heavy-set, with gray hair — no name tag) was not just rude — she was manipulative, aggressive, and verbally abusive in front of my young children. She won’t wear a name tag and won’t give you her name, but her name is Toni. I spoke to a younger, kind lady at the front desk the following morning and she knew exactly who I was talking about and gave me her name. She told me I am not the first one to complain about her and that it is mandatory to wear a name tag. My child was left crying, afraid we were going to be arrested — all because of Toni’s lies and power-tripping. This woman is toxic and unfit to be in hospitality. Based on other Google reviews, this isn’t an isolated incident. Hampton, do better. Guests deserve respect and basic decency — not emotional manipulation and threats especially with YOUNG CHILDREN there!

cant talk to a live person. so the hampton inn took me in and i had to pay there price because they only had 3 rooms left. so hotels.com emails me that they will charge me a cancellation chargse i told them to call the hotel, which they did and that i will not be charged a cancellation, and they will refund me back my charges. i cant believe that i could not talk to a live person.

The woman at the front desk was a bit brusque and snarky. But she did the job of checking us in efficiently. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was super in offering an early (very) to accommodate the race we were there to be part of. That was great!

I have stayed at this property numerous times in the past. Upon arrival for a confirmed reservation they refused to accept my temporary Texas Drivers License. The front desk gave me NO alternative such as; my physical credit card to obtain the reservation, the Orbitz confirmation text message, my previous stay history AND my Hilton Rewards Account. Plus, they offered to cancel the reservation, to which I agreed and I exited the property to a Marriott Fairfield Inn 30 miles away. This morning 4/22/25 I found that the reservation had NOT been canceled and the full amount charged to my credit card. Of course, the charge has been disputed and credited to my account. This may be a "one off" incident and I will never stay at a Hilton property in the future.

I have honestly had really good luck with Hampton properties-but would not recommend this location.

The accessible room we stayed in seemed to be the stepchild of this facility. Located as far as possible from the lobby, it was arduous to reach. The carpet in the room, and in the hallway, seems not to have been deep cleaned by decades, stained and grungy. The office chair at the desk in the room was broken. The pool's heating was broken. The hot water for tea in the lobby was less than tepid. Really appalling conditions, more like a bargain hotel than a Hilton property, and outrageous to charge top rates for such a poorly maintained hotel. Over $650 for two nights! The hotel industry needs to stop claiming poverty after covid and start treating its guests with more respect for their money in these times. Would truly like a refund or voucher.

Amazing staff, especially Jim who went out of his way to be helpful with questions and requests. They were flexible with check in and out, provided a wide array of breakfast options (we like the fruit, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, bacon and kids liked the waffles) as well as the comfort of the room. In the room, there was some evidence of possible water damage on the wall above the cooler but nothing that impacted our stay. Overall very nice hotel and very economical.

The room had a horrendous smell. No way to move us to a different room as the hotel was full…gave us 50 dollars as a refund…

It was a very nice hotel as I traveled through the area. The breakfast was nicely maintained and it seemed like the staff knew all the regulars that would use the hotel. The rooms were clean.

For the most part, my one night stay was excellent. Clean and comfortable and I got a great night’s sleep. The checkout people at the desk were friendly and very professional. I would’ve given 5 stars had it not been for the rudeness of the woman who checked me in on 12/28.

Best place to stay for local events in Anthem

The room smelled of poop. I had to ask for an air freshener.

Room 233 has a climate control unit that responds to temperature settings but there is no functioning “power off “ thus the blower stays on 24/7. Front desk says it is not fixable and has been this way for years. They could switch our room. How about over the years switching out the unit? Earplugs worked and we were otherwise very comfortable.

3rd stay at this location and will stay again in the future.

During the check in process, I was checking in with a female employee a male employee interrupted and asked what brings me to their hotel today. I glance over and before I can say anything, he says Ben Avery, are you a shooter, we have tons of shooters here. So I did not even reply to him. It was really awkward. Their cable was out. They didn't say anything.about it, When I called all I got was yeah, we are aware, nothing we can do sorry about the inconvenience. If they would have said, cable is out at check in, I would have went to a place where I could watch the TV. Probably should tell patrons if one of your “amenities” is not available during check in.

Stayed one night for a wedding. Front desk woman was great! The bed was firm for my liking, and very creaky. Other than that, the stay was great! We ate at del taco, in the same parking lot. We went at 9pm. First tried to walk in but the lobby was already closed. However, the drive thru stays open late! Breakfast at the hotel was good. We had eggs, bacon and waffles, but there were many other items to choose from!

when we arrived, we were informed we had NO reservation. I showed them the print out of the reservation, with confirmation number, name, correct date and that it was paid for in advance. Was told I may have all that information, but Hotels.com did not confirm with Hampton Inn the reservation. The reservation was none refundable. I called Hotels.com and tried to complete steps thru the automated call, was repeatedly told to please enter the correct code, which I kept putting in. Nothing was resolved. Was told I could check in, but had to PAY again. I sure hope I can get a REFUND!

I accidentally booked two rooms and only needed one…they cancelled the reservation when I realized the mistake and they didn’t have to because I didn’t realize the error until check in. So grateful. This my go-to hotel whenever I travel to AZ to visit family. Each time I guy, in the morning it’s the same guy and he is the best. He is so friendly. My room has been clean each time I go, it’s quiet, and it’s a safe hotel. I love in the mornings I can carry out breakfast to eat on the way to my family, small peanut butter cups, banana or bagel.

The property smelt really bad! The hallways and the rooms smelt bad. I had two rooms for two nights. There were several beatles in one of our bathrooms. I realize it's located in the desert but it wasn't the most comfortable to wake up to beatles crawling across the floor at 2 in the morning, while using the restroom.The smell was as if they needed to change their air conditioning filters. A mildew smell kind of! I have stayed there in the past, and it's gone down hill big time. I won't be staying at this specific hotel anymore. Very disappointed in my stay this time.
