Everything was fine.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Apopka and were very impressed with our visit. The staff was outstanding, especially the woman working the late check‑in on June 4th—kudos to her for being so friendly and welcoming, even though I didn’t catch her name. The room felt closer to a 5‑star hotel, with everything exceptionally clean and the towels folded so nicely. The entire property was spotless and well cared for, and we would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was excellent and the server is kind, the kitchen is so clean. The bathroom shower curtain should be larger, we had to put a towel as placemat, we didn't want to wet the bathroom floor. Otherwise everything was so perfect.

I have a suggestion for breakfast: ceramic bowls are needed to eat hot oatmeal. Disposable bowls are not healthy for hot stuff. The coating melts.

The staff, right from the receptionist to the room service and the server at the breakfast were very nice, pleasant with a genuine intent to help the customers. Overall, an excellent stay.

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff and a good breakfast. There's a highway that's runs just in front of the hotel so be prepared to here cars all night.

The moment you entered the hotel I was greeted by a nice gentle man who made the check in process super quick n easy! Once we got to the room, you could smell the cleanliness. The staff was really helpful. I will definitely stay here again in my future trips to FL

Room had giant roach and bed bugs. We advised the front desk and they said they would let next shift know but there was nothing they could do..had to wait an entire half a day before another room was vacant. Slept on wood bench sitting up.

Great place to stay at. I have stayed here every time I go to Florida. I drive from NC and stay there it’s so relaxing. There is nothing that I don’t like about this property. They have great staff, nice free breakfast, and clean rooms. They cleaned my room every day I stayed. For 5 days.

I enjoyed it more than my normal hotel there. I think moving forward, this will be my new place to stay when I visit Florida. Cancelled reservation within timeline allocated, but charged one night’s stay. And the day I was due to check in, I was charged an extra $100. At 2 am the next morning, a desk clerk called to ask me where I was, if I were coming. I said that the reservation had long been cancelled, then asked why I was charged an additional $100. He replied uhmmm…then he hung up on me!

The hotel was very clean and well taken care of. The room was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. There was nothing we didn't like.

The breakfast was just, okay. Eggs tasted like liquid or powdered, sausage was thin and ..eh. pacake machine was being obnoxious. After every one, the bag claimed to be empty, and needed changed, even though it had plenty. They beds were hard, woke up incredibly stiff in the morning. Could use a night light in the bathroom

What's not to like? Our 4 day stay was excellent. The room was clean, recently refurbished to modern motiff, with a splash of Western U.S. influence. Breakfast was efficient, laid out great and the toasters worked! There was scrambled eggs, (turkey sausage patties & links.) instant pancakes (not pre-cooked!) Our room was very, very nice. clean everything. Xlnt TV, good WIFI. Big king size bed, nicely filled pillows and all the electric enmities. Love seat sofa, desk and lots of room to move a wheelchair. The staff was excellent, the cleaning staff also excellent. We required towels; a few came straight away with a smile. Everyone, including maintenance, cleaning staff; all excellent. We are coming back in May. Guess which hotel we'll book. Not enough to discuss.

I have stayed at the holiday inn for work for the past 4 months now. My last visit was met with blatant disrespect and the woman at the counter with an attitude.

The room was great, the bed was phenomenal and the breakfast was the cherry on top.

We stay here when we visit my brother and his family on Apopka. It’s always been nice, clean, we feel safe, check-in and check-out are easy, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Obviously, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Property in good condition but the bathtub dranage and bath paper holder where bronken. Things that maintenance department should be notice in order to repair them.

From check in, to check out, the entire experience was amazing. The staff were all very helpful and nice. Very quiet, CLEAN and affordable IMO. The included breakfast is basic, but for anyone that can get by with scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes and juice or coffee will be perfectly fine. Overall a great experience for anyone looking for a quick stay at an affordable price (IMO)

Perfect hotel in Apoka Florida.

We stayed here to be close to Rock Springs. We live on the coast of Florida and didn't want to chance not getting in line on time. Last Year we stayed next door at the Hampton Inn and had an awful experience. They tried to charge us for a pet we never had there. ($75) After I called several times to dispose with them. The Breakfast at the Holiday inn was small but just what we needed to start our day. Rooms were clean. Location was close to restaurants. We would stay here again to visit Rock Springs.

The breakfast was ok. I would have loved some cheese and/or salsa to put on the scrambled eggs. The person who was cleaning the "dining area" was mopping while we were getting coffee after breakfast had ended. She almost mopped my daughter's shoes. Otherwise, clean and wonderful place to stay.

Was only in the room for a couple of hours at night, so while it was beautifully appointed and clean, we really simply didn’t use the amenities. Breakfast was included, which was nice. It was really okay at best for that though. Boiled eggs were super rubbery and hard, scrambled eggs were pretty flavorless. It was nice to come down and not have to worry about figuring out food at 6:30 am though!

Perfect for what we needed. Close enough to King's Landing and Kelly Rock Park. Quiet, clean, comfy bed, cold AC, plenty of breakfast options, and the best blackout window covering I've ever seen at a hotel. Serious perk!

We really enjoyed our stay! We stayed for a weekend for a wedding. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus! Parking was easy and there’s plenty of fast food and restaurants nearby. There’s a little pool on site too! We also appreciated the extra efforts like when we got into our room, there was a bow shaped towel displayed on the bed. That was cute! :)

The hotel staff were friendly, I had to wait at check-in and check-out. The $25 deposit is a bit incovenient. The room was spacious and mostly clean, there were some stains on the carpet. There is a lot of ambient light in the room from the clock, the red leds on everything and various items like the microwave. The parking lot was a bit noisy early in the morning. - The breakfast was OK, not much variety but enough to make it worthwhile. I would stay there again.

The only suggestion I have is a bell or something at front desk for check in. No one was there and another guest and I debated what to do. Finally he put his head in through a partially opened door for “Staff Only” and requested loudly for some help. The response was immediate and the check-in proceeded quickly and efficiently with an apology.

The staff were very pleasant, but the room with two queen beds was terrible. The small refrigerator made so much noise the first night, I had to unplug it so the family could get any sleep at all. The bathroom toilet had almost no flushing water pressure, as well as the sink (really low flow ridiculous). The shower had (just) enough pressure. We were in room 408, avoid that room like the plague! The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great (sausages amazing actually).

Brief stay at Holiday Inn Express was one of the BEST hotels I’ve stayed in. Awesome customer service from check in (Rohingya) to check out superb representatives. Clean room, soft bed and delicious breakfast. Definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again, again and again.

Heater wasn't working, someone walked into the room at 9AM without knocking, someones hair in a towel.

When I left my room to check out, the cleaning staff outside of my room openly admitted that they knew the AC in my room had not been working. This left me wondering why the hotel would knowingly rent out a room in such a state without addressing the issue or at least informing me. I reported the incident to the supervisor after I left, expecting at least some acknowledgment of the inconvenience or compensation for such a miserable stay. Instead, I was told that because I had already left the property, they would not provide any compensation. This response was incredibly unprofessional and dismissive. The lack of accountability and customer care at this hotel is shocking. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with a management team that values its guests, look elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration—I certainly will.

It was an overall decent stay. The area was safe and conveniently located for the business I had to attend to.

We've stayed here a few times while visitng family in the area and its always our first choice. Staff is friendly, rooms are comfortable, and there are always plenty of breakfast options, including gluten free.

Parking is tight. Not much space. But clean and comfortable. No bugs.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly and nice. The room was nice and spacious. My only complaint is that the shower head was not so clean. You could see green mold. The rest if the bathroom was clean. Perhaps, they forgot to add some bleach to that shower head.
