The restaurant staff was really nice and attentive You had to pay for every little thing. They had water bottles in the room but if you weren't a diamond member you had to pay $3 per bottle. They also had QR codes to see amenities services but it didnt work. Other than that it was decent.

Wonderful breakfast. Loved the outside patios and used them both morning and evenings. We will definitely make reservations with this hotel line again.

This Hilton was clean and very dog friendly. The down side for me is I’ve stayed at a lot of hiltons and never heard of most amenities being only for platinum members such as breakfast or even a complimentary water bottle. Maybe this is a different type of Hilton which I may have over looked while booking I’ve stayed at a different one in downtown Asheville that offered all those things so I probably wouldn’t stay here again because kinda just rubbed me the wrong way. Other than that it was a nice clean place to stay, staff was friendly.

I booked originally the Hilton garden in downtown, I do not understand why we end up at the other Hilton, far away from everything and it took half an hour for the staff to find my reservation, I am a Hilton honors member and was treated like a second class citizen.

The kindness of the staff was incredible. We were there the day of the big snowstorm. The staff took care of everyone and made us all feel so welcome. The room was perfect, and the restaurant terrific. We had breakfast and dinner there. This is our second stay, we came two years ago, so you know it’s a great spot when you repeat it again.

It was fine. Very clean, but not as nice as I expected based on the strong ratings. The bathroom is comically small (smaller than anything i've ever seen, even in cheap motels), and the beds were not the best either.

Everything was great! I requested 3 rooms on the same floor, it wasn't a guarantee that I would get them, but we did. Staff was very friendly. I loved the outdoor area with the firepits! That was great! The only thing I thought was disappointing was breakfast was not free.

The staff couldn't do enough for us, they were very kind and went the extra mile. The room was sparkling clean, which means a lot to me when I stay somewhere. We ate a dinner and a breakfast at the hotel and they were above average. All in all, we had a very nice weekend.

The room was clean and spacious, but they didn’t have a handicapped accessible room available even though that was what i booked. Handicapped parking was behind the building and not well lighted. I didn’t feel safe parking there. This used to be the Hampton Inn which was a lot nicer with a swimming pool and a continental breakfast. They could not even produce a TV channel list for me. On the bright side, they are close to the farmers market and some pretty good dining options. It is also close to the outlet mall across the street. I also noticed that much of the road construction was finished and traffic wasn’t crazy like it normally is. However, my GPS still gets confused on how to get off on Brevard Road.

I wish the breakfast was free. I didn’t have time to wait for food to be fixed. Other than that. Excellent stay. Beds are comfy.

Of all the places I've stayed Hilton Garden Inn is my favorite. Nice rooms and staff, and the onsite restaurant is so convenient! The food is always delicious and the staff at the restaurant is great, too! A visit from the Chef to make sure you're happy with the food is such a compliment. This location also had live music during dinner!

Comfortable bed with LOTS of pillows. Helpful friendly staff. Dawson at Check-in was efficient and knowledgeable. Kyle got me to the airport by 4:45am. He was a very safe driver and great conversationalist even at that early hour.

Decided to spend a night in Asheville at the last minute, and know I can rely on a Hilton property. Comfortable bed and good pillows! I always get a good night's rest.

Unfortunately our room was by the elevator and the outdoor fire pit area right outside our room. SO NOISY. Other than bat it was a great stay as usual.

Driving thru for a Family reunion in Holden Beach, NC and decided to stay in Asheville. Check in was great and the room was clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed this place and plan on returning!

Great Staff

My first time at this hotel in Asheville. Everyone was so nice. Jessie at the front desk when I came in late Friday night was so friendly. Rebecca who took care of my breakfast order Sat and Sun was super nice, as was the woman who waited on me this morning (I didn’t get her name). Sunday night the lady who took care of my dinner order was really friendly as well. The outdoor area where I are dinner Sunday was gorgeous. All in all an excellent experience.

This review of the Hilton Garden Inn in Asheville is written in the hopes it gets read before you choose to book this hotel. While there are number positive reviews please take the time to research a little further. It’s not how a business responds to positive experiences but how they respond when things don’t go as planned. This was the last stop after an otherwise perfect trip visiting family , attending high school and college track meets in various cities along the way. All hotels were perfect up to and after this location. Upon learning our reservation wasn’t going to be honored with the room type we had purchased (I have to point out how we were then treated). It was not mentioned upon arrival, when we reached the room given I called the front desk to no avail. I then approached the front desk to show my reservation details. The response was pretty much they couldn’t have cared less and offered no help. I should also mention there wasn’t a sole to be found in the lobby, or at the desk for quite some time when we came to check in. In fact other than two male employees of the Hilton Garden we saw no one else, guest or other wise. I offered to accept the room given as we were tired from a long days journey but I wanted the price to reflect the lesser priced room we were given. Again shoulder shrugs, and no deal. Stated we booked through Expedia even though we paid directly to the hotel on arrival. Was I frustrated absolutely. I asked to speak to a manager. Not available. R

Check in was simple, staff was really nice. The lobby and hallways were extremely clean. Our room was perfect with a great view. Also very clean. We decided to eat in the lobby restaurant. It was excellent, simple menu, simple food, and great staff there as well. Cocktails on the patio with gas fire pits. Relaxing, clean and quiet. Six stars

Front desk lady was engaging courtesy and very funny. After 10 hours of driving she was a delight. Wish i would have remembered her name !

While the power going out was due to the weather and wasn’t anything in their control, they should have a back up generator or something. The housekeeping staff continuously slammed doors every 1-2 minutes starting at around 8am which woke me up. They also were having really loud conversations right outside my door. I know it was housekeeping because I could see them through my peep hole with their cleaning carts. The food I purchased from their mini store in the lobby upset my stomach. And the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The only reason I didn’t give them 1 star was because the room was very clean and the drink I ordered was good.

We were going to leave and not stay because the charge I was told while booking and holding the room was much lower. Then he said it would be around $199 which my mom paid on her Hilton Honors card because she had points. Now I have a bill on my card for $303.97 I will be disputing this charge and leaving a terrible review for the lack of customer service and the additional charges and nit to mention the water was completely shut off on us.

Loved the outside area, with several fire pits and seating. To enjoy the evening. They also had local musicians playi music in the evening.

This place was very dirty and disgusting. Staff was helpful but our bed had an unwashed spill all down the duvet and bed skirt and a bunch of hair in the bathroom. So gross.

Hotel was super nice but what made the stay go to hell was the lady at the continental breakfast counter charged my room for a single bagel and 2 packs of strawberry jelly. As petty as it sounds but i mean come on i just paid $225 to have a place to lay my head for less than 24 HRS

Beautiful hotel conveniently located off highway. Was pleasantly surprised by the amazing breakfast/eat-in area and bar that stays open til 10:00pm. We didn’t get to use the pool area as we had an early flight. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

A pleasant change from most places we’ve stayed over the years. Staff have been exceptionally cheerful and helpful. We even extended our stay an extra day.

Front desk employees were not knowledgeable of how to honor a Hilton member. There was a lot of confusion of honoring the rate online. I had to book reservation while standing at the front desk. Then there were confusion of seeing our reservation.

Hilton Garden was nice, room was nice, people were nice. I knew in advance that breakfast was not included. So that was not a surprise. However, in the future I will probably choose a hotel that does have breakfast included. On this trip we stayed at several hotels and having breakfast included was nice. $40 extra for 3 adults for breakfast seemed like a little n on top of an already expensive stay (for school teachers salary). Also, there was no pool. Something I didn’t realize until we had the thought to go swimming on afternoon ( we stayed 3 nights). It was as advertised. A nice stay with a nice room, friendly staff, and few other perks.

Breakfast did have many choices on the buffet. Cold eggs, sausage, bacon, and potatoes. $40 for two people. We could’ve got better food at a fast food restaurant for 1/2 the price, and we did the rest of the trip.
