Reviews
The Omni Grove Park Inn is a beautiful historic resort with stunning views and excellent staff, but some guests find the rooms outdated and overpriced. The spa is highly recommended, but some guests were disappointed with the food and value for money.
- Beautiful historic property with stunning views
- Excellent staff and customer service
- Rooms are outdated and overpriced
- Food is average and overpriced

All the amenities are a separate charge from room rental. Mountain vie room is just the golf course view. The spa pool/ indoor mountain pool is $200dls plus per person. Even with having a room reservation parking in the premises are charged separate. Beautiful place to stay, however expect to spend extra from the room reservation.

The views are beautiful. The employees are all amazing. The food was excellent. The dueling piano players were no bueno. The bathroom was tiny. The toilet tub and sink are crammed together. The shower had two body washes and conditioner. No shampoo. The pool was small and packed. Day use at the spa is the way to go but pricey. They limit capacity which is nice and necessary.

They spa couples massage was excellent. The concierge lounge well staffed and maintain Club level was an exquisite idea and way to go.

The property is beautiful! The staff were attentive and welcoming.

the Spa experience was definitely a high point along with dinner at the Sunset Terrace. However, NIGHTMARE making reservations.. we had a party of 13 and did not want the prefix menu do they made me call, wait on hold for at least 10 minutes to reserve a table.. then they wouldn’t let me reserve 3 tables so they made me go through that saga of calling 3 xs!! Room was adequate… maid had taken the 2 glasses that were in our room so we called the front desk for more. We were disconnected 3 xs.. I even tried to call on my cell. Finally got someone and they said they could bring up 1 as the glasses were just being washed?!?!?! Insane.. also had questions about the crazy hold that is put on your bill with every purchase.. manager finally came over to try and explain and then said to my friend.. I just want to get you out of here?!?!?! Insane.. we spent $1000’s as a group and that was just a bit of what we experienced. To say nothing of the Pesidential suite that my friend booked that was unbelievably sub par for the $

Beautiful space. Live nightly music. Great food & a breakfast buffet to-die-for
- 5/5
Property is located in a great location with views of Blue Ridge Mtns. Get a room with mountain view. Rooms were clean, staff helpful, all restaurants were great. If you are there on a Friday or Saturday night take advantage of Seafood or Prime rib buffet, we did the Prime Rib buffet, it was excellent. Chef prepared food with too many choices. Easy access to downtown and Blue Ridge Parkway. Very expensive however it is a 5 star resort.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at this "Excellent Establishment". We were completely blown away by the sheer magnificence of the grounds, room, and amenities; every moment of our stay was magical. The staff welcomed us with enthusiasm and professionalism, we were given complimentary champagne and truffles along with a celebratory card. We were given congratulatory well wishes to come and allow the GPI and staff to honor our love with them again and again in the future. The cuisine for breakfast and dinner were emaculately prepared with 5 star quality each day. I can truly say everything was truly awesome.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful time - 4 days - celebrating my birthday. We will be back.
- 4/5
Staff was excellent! Room was not the greatest for the price. Outdated, small, several lights did not work. We had a king mountain view. Room service was great with the exception of where to eat! In room table was just a side table, very uncomfortable to enjoy the meal. History of the hotel was interesting and the spa was exceptional. Disappointing that the main pool was down the road. Food was excellent.
- 5/5
Beautiful resort, meticulously maintained. It was my fourth visit in about a dozen years, and there is always major renovation taking place. But they manage to keep it from intruding or interfering with anything essential to a nice resort stay.
- 2/5
Staff was almost nonexistent. Too big a place for so few staff, first day our room wasn’t cleaned. Valet parking took forever and there was no where to park yourself. Pool was too far to walk to and there were no evening hours(plus it was tiny). Spa was going to be another 250 a day so you were not able to use indoor pool. Rooms were sparse, with no amenities other than an old coffee machine( not very clean either) and an old tiny refrigerator. Would have been far better off at the nearby Marriott!

The lobby and the views outside were beautiful. The rooms were not in great condition. The room had windows that were covered by loose screens and cracked wood, just in bad condition. Also, the air conditioning did not work in my room. We called the front desk and they sent an engineer who was not able to fix it, so we were offered to to stay in another room, which we did. The AC worked in that room thankfully, but it was a little smaller and not totally clean.

Fabulous experience in a wonderful historic facility. Take time to explore and enjoy the spaces.

We stay here because it is a beautifully preserved historical Arts&Crafts hotel in a lovely setting. We have attended the annual Arts&Crafts Conference several times here. The restaurants and staff are wonderful. I love the Grovewood Gallery and the ability to see/purchase local art work. Shopping and eating in nearby downtown Asheville is a plus. $$$$

Older property but very well maintained.

7.30 afternoons no any place to eats or find food in property .. place like that is not right to don’t serve food or enough restaurants do serve for the customers staying inside and the hosts so rude

Historic, gorgeous, the views!

The Omni grove is one of my favorite resorts! Top notch facilities. The rooms are unique, and I love the history. Our room was also spotless.

Everything about this place is magical! My girlfriend and I stayed for our anniversary and we couldn’t have been happier! This is my second time staying but a lot of things have changed since I was last there in 2020. My gf has never been and she was thrilled with the spa and all of the amenities. I did the valet parking option and my recently purchased Porsche Panamera was handled with care (which was super important considering I mean…it’s a Porsche!) the service was quick and efficient everywhere we ate at the Vue 1913, Edison, and the Spa Cafe. All were amazing but our favorite was Edison’s beer cheese pretzel. A complementary bottle of rose Chandon was brought to our room along with a box of chocolates for our anniversary. We also ordered a microwave to be brought to our room to heat up leftovers which I thought was amazing. Housekeeping did a great job, the spa staff took great care of us, and the waitress at the Vue 1913 was so funny. I wish I could remember her name. I will be returning again ASAP! Thank you! The only thing I can think of was that the elevators were so far away from the lobby. Walking in uncomfortable heels was not…fun lol. However this was a minor inconvenience and I didn’t mind at all.

The 11th floor/Club level is where it’s at, folks. The lounge serves food twice a day and free beverages during happy hour and also accommodated me for a mimosa or two in the morning😉. It has fabulous large rooms with nice bathrooms, featuring many shower heads and a jacuzzi tub for two and to me, the included valet is worth it. And if you make a spa reservation, check in early and enjoy it all day. It’s one of the best spas I’ve ever been to in my life and one of the highest rated (and I have become quite the spa snob.) We had the best mini moon there! The staff was so professional and really accommodating to us. This is more than made up for the first trip we had there where they canceled our spa reso last min.

Walking around the property was nice. According to booking.com, there is an indoor pool. However, even as a guest at the hotel, reservations needed to be made days in advance. The indoor pool was the #1 reason we stayed there. We planned for months to go to that pool. It was definitely very disappointing and felt like the stay was a huge waste of money.

The only problem was the room that was assigned to me it was very uncomfortable and reduced compared to the rest of the magnificent hotel and the super friendly staff thank you for your service I had a great time

Excellent
- 5/5
The rooms are a little outdated. What they did over in our bathroom, ie the tile shower, there was still grout smeared on the floors and this isn’t recent. Parking expensive and not included in your hotel fees. Restaurants including the market place store very expensive. The views are incredible, the staff very friendly and there’s a lot of history in this old hotel. Worth at least one visit

This resort is second to none. I visited the spa during an overnight day from Friday to Saturday. Drove 3.5 hours from Atlanta and the drive was certainly worth it. The spa was very well organized. The spa staff was especially attentive and the experience was magical. The pool area of the spa is very picturesque, giving mountain oasis. On Friday nights, the main restaurant offers a seafood buffet that was the best seafood buffet I have ever experienced. The room was clean and modern. The fitness center was a short walk from the main hotel but provided everything I needed; very large facility. 10 out of 10 for the overall stay. Will definitely return!

If you want a magical experience go to GPI!
- 5/5
Exceptional. Relaxing & refreshing, no need to leave the property. Excellent dining and drink options, great view, entertainment, superb staff, overall nice getaway.
- 4.5/5
The hotel itself is gorgeous with fantastic views. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at the restaurants throughout the building. Do not miss the elevator tour behind the fire with Jimmy! Everything is very expensive. The spa costs over $200 per person per day, in addition to your hotel booking, and must be reserved well in advance. The rooms are very dated, and the hotel is well overdue for a renovation. At check-in, we were warned that there might be scaffolding outside our window, which we had paid extra to have a mountain view from. Rather than being a minor footnote, this warning caused real stress throughout our stay. Every day, we found ourselves anxiously wondering whether today would be the day our view got blocked, which is not how anyone wants to spend a vacation. To make matters worse, it is unclear why those rooms are being rented out at full price in the first place. Any room with a view that could be obstructed by ongoing construction work should simply be taken off the market until the work is complete. Fortunately, the scaffolding never blocked our view, but the construction chemicals made the room quite unpleasant on our last night. The newer wings of the hotel also feel out of place compared to the historic building, as they regularly host business conferences, giving the whole experience a strange vibe when you find yourself walking through a convention crowd on the way to dinner.

One of our favorite hotels. Good views. Good food. Welcoming employees. Love just sitting in the lobby at the fireplaces.
- 2/5
Not allowed to use outdoor pool unless you bought an additional spa package. Rooms were very small for the price and major construction going on.
- 4/5
Spa is five star; the hotel is more a 3 star.

Fantastic

Incredible hotel!!! The food was great at the restaurant with amazing views of the Smokey mountains. The spa is also amazing! Cannot recommend this hotel enough.
- 5/5
Great views!!! Well manicured property.

All of staff was exceptional

Staff were friendly and accommodating. The grounds were beautiful and we had an excellent view of the mountains while also overlooking the golf course. Our family had a great time.
- 5/5
It’s worth it go for it
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Disappointed with view from our room. Selected premium room with Mountain View. However, view was obstructed by scaffolding due to building maintenance.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Room was great. Just wish they did not charge me a $10 tennis fee since we already paid a $45 per day resort fee
- 5/5
The property is beautiful! I loved the spa and sitting outside looking at Black Mountain.
- 1/5
Expensive and the main draw was the pool which we couldn’t use with an expensive $200 day pass that we couldn’t buy a week ahead of time because it was sold out.
- 2/5
Additionally, our room was dirty. The bathroom floor was sticky and we found a dead bug, M & Ms and and old cough drop on the floor around the beds. Our hotel room was only serviced once during our four day stay. The Spa was also dirty and extremely dated. There was an old comb, the lining of a women’s swimsuit, and most disgusting, someone blew their nose in the cold plunge tub and we had to find someone to remove it. So, no cold plunge for us. The “Spa” robes were horrible. Will not return.
- 5/5
Everything! Staff amenities and especially the spa and the spa treatments
- 3/5
I got married at the Grove Park Inn 24 years ago. I was disappointed to find the hotel lowered its standards of comfortable luxury. It was cozy in spite of its size. This hotel is run now as a pure commercial enterprise. Super crowded. The room was just average. No place to have brunch on Sunday. The SPA is over prized. No beverages in refrigerator. No shower cups
- 5/5
Well kept property and courteous staff.
- 5/5
Historic charm, attentive staff, luxurious spa
- 4/5
Drinks and food were excellent. The downside is that most of the amenities are paid for. We didn't know beforehand that the spa was super busy and that we needed to reserve it in advance to get the chance to enjoy it. In addition the general swimming pool infrastructure could be a way better. It doesn't match the hotel level.
- 5/5
There was a bellhop named James that was especially helpful-
- 5/5
Beautiful
- 3/5
They accommodated our ask for a different room, but it was much smaller and just not what we had in mind. However, they let us out of our final two nights on the reservation - I was very appreciative of this. Overall, it's a beautiful property, setting, the grounds are lovely. Views are fantastic. That said, the rooms are pretty dated and nothing special. The hotel is pretty expensive considering all of this. You're paying for the location, not the rooms.
- 5/5
Yes the room was nice and the staff was professional
- 5/5
Loved the Fireplace and Sitting outside for Morning Coffee
- 5/5
The property is amazing and the history is very rich. Taking it all in is humbling. We enjoyed our stay and the personal treatment and attention to detail.
- 5/5
Very interesting hotel with lots of unique features.
- 3/5
Yes the room is good, but my complain is, I booked for a 3 persons on the room but the robes, water bottles and cups they prepared are only good for 2 people. And another thing the spa access I expected it to be complimentary for guest or has priority but we needed to have a day pass which is sold out already.. The day pass access for the spa should be part of their booking options then if guests needed to have a day pass. To think they charge for amenities and ending up not using them.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. They seemed to really care about providing a nice experience.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Just an amazing property all around with incredible staff, amenities and accommodations!
- 5/5
Amazing experience!!
- 5/5
Dated rooms but wonderful facility. Bar at Christmas Eve with fire is worth it all.
- 5/5
Every staff member was friendly and professional. The hotel rooms and lobby were beautifuly furnished with authentic Arts and Crafts furnishings.
- 2/5
This hotel did not meet my expectations of a high end luxury hotel. The hallways smelled musty, I am aware it is a hotel build in 1912 and of course will have an older smell but for the price and level the hotel places its self it felt dusty, dirty and musty. Once at the hotel be aware that the use of the spa pools are not included- that is a separate $244 per person to only use the pools (no massage or treatment included) and you HAVE to make reservations WAY in advance for the spa. You also have to make reservations for the use of the pickleball/ tennis areas WAY in advance as well- they were already booked out for a week. The sports complex of the hotel was also unkept and musty, the gym was VERY hot it didnt even feel like the a/c was running. If the hotel doesn’t have capacity for the number of guests to be able to enjoy all parts of the resort since the guest pay an extra resort fee then the hotel should definitely not be considered high end or luxury. This hotel felt like it was worth not even $200 a night and wanted to upcharge for everything including room service. Room service pricing was already elevated but ontop of the price on the menu for the dishes they charge a 22% service fee plus a $5 delivery fee. This was one of the least worthy experience I have ever been too felt worse than a Hilton.
- 5/5
Check in was smooth. We opted for valet parking, which was so nice considering the cold temps and wind. Busboys were courteous and pleasant to speak with. We had the breakfast buffet one morning and dinner at Edison’s. Great food considering the cost. Our room didn’t have a microwave, which I would have thought standard, but they brought one when requested. Room was clean and cleaned daily. Amenities were great.
- 4/5
The hotel is amazing! The food at restaurants was delicious but can be pricey!
- 5/5
Excellent!
- 5/5
Facility was amazing, Spa was so unbelievably nice and relaxing, worth the experience!

Our go to spot in Asheville. Love the accommodations and services. The staff are always friendly, attentive and professional.

The golf course was lovely The high end restaurant, Vue 1913 was only average. 4 days in a row we were unable to book any spa services. 4 nights were too much...3 would have been better.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful area, beautiful construction, beautiful view, wonderful spa , …😍😍
- 5/5
The room was very nice , the staffs was extremely courteous. We paid for mountain view room but mainly only view was rt up on golf course.
- 5/5
Everything was top notch
- 3/5
The Grove Park is a large hotel with generally solid staff and great views, but it’s definitely showing its age and wear and tear since their last renovations. We stayed in the Sammons wing and our rooms were worn, particularly for the price. The spa is similarly feeling its 25 year age and quite expensive given that, but striking in design and staff very nice. The gym is across the street and a large facility that wasn’t very busy, with solid weight and cardio rooms, locker rooms, plus Peloton bikes in good condition (in a carpeted hallway type space without mats under them).
- 5/5
Staff very friendly and courteous. Beautiful hotel. Was disappointed the room had a great view but the windows were streaked and foggy so did not really enjoy the view.
- 5/5
Primo Staff!
- 5/5
Perfection! Food was amazing and the rooms were spacious and spotless!
- 5/5
Always a wonderful stay especially at Christmas time
- 5/5
The facility was amazing from the staff, rooms, and restaurants. It was first class in so many ways.
- 5/5
Great location - great service from all staff - great prepared meals - mild not have been better!
- 5/5
Loved it. Will he back to play golf
- 5/5
One of the standout features is the stunning outdoor space. The pool area is inviting, with plenty of lounge chairs and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. It’s the ideal spot to unwind with a good book or enjoy a sunset cocktail. The location is another major plus. Just a short drive from the park, it offers easy access to hiking trails and the unique landscapes that make this area so special. Plus, the hotel’s commitment to sustainability is commendable, making it a great choice for eco-conscious travelers. Overall, Reset Hotel is a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Whether you're looking to explore the natural beauty of Twentynine Palms or simply relax in a tranquil environment, this hotel exceeds expectations. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable desert getaway!

- 5/5
Wonderful trip!
- 3/5
Staff was great but everything else was a bit dated and overcrowded. It was a lot like Las Vegas - line for everything, reservations to even access the pool, mass produced experience and less like the Grove Park Inn of the past. We won’t be going back any time soon.
- 5/5
The weekend we were there the hotel was at 100% capacity. You’d never know bc the staff was still incredible!! Great views, amenities, restaurants. We are going back!
- 5/5
The breakfast Buffett had a nice variety of choices and nicely planned out.
- 5/5
Fabulous hotel. Great staff. Great vibe.
- 5/5
Everything has been great! Beautiful place and service is first class.
- 5/5
Everything was really good except the service at Edison's. The waitress was fantastic but it took us nearly 1.5hrs to get our food, which was decent. Overall though, we will stay again and we have stayed before! Just not a big fan of Edison's. Great time overall and loved the Christmassy atmosphere.
- 4/5
Beautiful views
- 5/5
Wonderful resort! Friendly staff and beautiful view of the mountains.
- 5/5
Love the Omni Grove Hotel/Resort. The fireplaces and rocking chairs are my favorite spot on cold days and the back patio in the summer
- 5/5
This hotel is historic and amazing.
- 5/5
Beautiful location
- 2/5
The check-in experience was pleasant. This hotel clearly needs a major renovation. The (rocky) exteriors with beautiful red tile roofs need to be pressure washed badly. The metal stair fences outside are rotting at their bases where they meet (cracked) concrete steps, etc. The hallways and rooms are very dated and desperately need a major update. The lunch outside on the patio was great but the servers were all giving us the impression that they did not like their jobs. No smiles, no efforts to make us feel welcome. The views from the hotel of the golf course and grounds is beautiful and that certainly helped us enjoy our stay a bit more. Overall, we felt we had much nicer rooms in considerably less expensive hotels.
- 5/5
Everything was great from the moment we arrived.
- 5/5
The best experience
- 5/5
Everything was lovely! Especially the spa experience, we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful facilities. We also dined at four of the restaurants onsite and the food throughout the property was excellent!! We are already looking forward to our next visit.
- 5/5
Just absolutely amazing. I am in the travel industry and was over joyed about just about everything at this property. We traveled there in early October, it was busy but didn’t feel over-run. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. No reason, at all, to leave property for meals - we did visit 2 restaurants that the Omni concierge even recommended and were not as happy with the food/service as we were at the hotel. Overall one of our best vacations - will for sure be back!
- 5/5
Most hospitable staff, absolutely beautiful lobby and many delicious restaurants.
- 3/5
We were extremely disappointed in the room for $600 per night. There was nothing special at all about the room and it was so outdated.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with classic charm.
- 4/5
It's OK, been there before, probably not going back because you can't get in at Spa, and if you do, it costs you $250 plus bucks. For a steam and sauna, $250? Stupid, and we won't be back.
- 5/5
This beautiful resort is perfectly located to enjoy Mountain views and spectacular sunsets. Dining options are top notch and the spa and golf course are beautiful!
- 5/5
All around excellent
- 5/5
Dinner was outstanding; service throughout has been exceptional, the property is spectacular including the golf course and spa, it’s an ultra class resort! 5 stars!
- 4/5
The staff on the property was excellent. Everybody was a tentative and happy to help.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Historic. Great views. Enjoyed walking around the hallways.
- 5/5
The person who provided the best service was the lady elevator operator. She was very attentive and made sure everyone could relax and enjoy the facilities.
- 5/5
It was amazing all around!!!
- 5/5
Staff was attentive and made me feel valued.
- 3/5
Facilities need updating. I have a mushroom allergy and they still put mushrooms on my plate.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel and amenities
- 5/5
The spa had a lot of people but was otherwise enjoyable. The staff everywhere werr very kind and helpful.
- 5/5
Beautiful setting; hospitable staff; seafood buffet was delicious; a nice quiet venue for relaxing
- 5/5
Set in a beautiful place with lovely views all around. The hotel has history and old charm, but still well maintained. Dining options onsite are yummy. Easy to get to from Asheville airport. And close to exploring nature and downtown Asheville. We will go back.

Beautiful Hotel and surrounding. Clean. Friendly staff but service is lacking re assistance with Taxis dining etc. Just give you a sheet of paper to figure it out yourself. Note you will pay a resort fee up top of Expedia payment at the hotel

This place is gorgeous and a delightful place to stay.

This is truly a historic and magnificent property. All of the staff we encountered were very cordial and friendly. We always enjoy our dining on the veranda outside facing Asheville. Exquisite to say the least. The only thing that really irked us was not having a menu based breakfast option. A buffet only satisfies a small subset of customers and yours is very expensive. Speaking of expensive, your property is at the top. We are casual travelers and enjoy places S Grove Park but prices will make us favor a B&B next time. Do something to review your pricing as it is approaching outrageous to a certain point. Otherwise your bread and butter customers will slowly abandon you.

The hotel staff was great! I was floored by the property and the history. Photos don’t do it justice.
- 2/5
I will never go back to such a snobby place. We can definitely spend our hard earned money elsewhere.
- 5/5
Historical property that is beautifully updated! Staff was excellent! Our room had a stunning view!

Entrance into the bathroom was very hazardous.

It was great for a weekend getaway

1) our biggest let down was the spa, and here's why... the #1 marketing advertisement that initially drew us to this resort was what the spa had to offer, with its pool and waterfalls, sauna and steam room. Looked awesome from the pictures online and was our biggest reason for choosing Grove Park. We were really looking forward to spending a good part of the day there, and was under the impression it was part of the hotel room and lodging. When we headed there to use the spa amenities we were very much disappointed by the fact that this was a completely separate package that we would have to purchase, and even if we wanted to, there was no availability for the 1 single full day we had there, so we were left with no option but to not have an opportunity to visit the spa. All we were able to do was look through a small peep window to have a glimpse of what it looked like. That was a major let down for us. 2) The 2 restaurants that we ate at were great but we were not made aware ahead of time that reservations were necessary and due to the full capacity, we were not able to visit some of the restaurants that we wanted to try. 3) Our room was at the very lowest level, right alongside the golf course, so our view was not as good as a higher level room and our privacy was impeded by the golfers. My wife realized the level we

The property is gorgeous, the spa is wonderful, but the food was average. Other than the yummy breakfast buffet, we did not enjoy our over priced meals. The rooms also need updating.
- 5/5
Hotel signs to get in to the hotel needs to be better. We arrived after dark and we had a difficult time finding the right road to get to the hotel, sign an r needs to be improved.

Great atmosphere
- 5/5
It was a very nice stay. Grout in shower could use a deep cleaning, air conditioner unit was loud all night even when we increased the temperature so it would run less. I was very aware I was in a basement room due to low ceilings and mountainview was a bit of a stretch for the room we were in. We were on the golf course and kept the curtain closed because everyone playing through could definitely see into the room. We also needed to request foam pillows because two feather pillows were too flat for comfortable sleep.
- 5/5
We loved our stay. The staff was outstanding! Especially Kevin and corey. There was one waitress named kimberly who wasn't very nice. I know she was buys and my father is elderly and demanding, but she kinda threw down his desert and didn't offer to replace his spilled wine.

Has an amazing time!! Place was amazing, staff wonderful and the food was so very good!!

- 5/5
Amazing property with great restaurants and staff!!
- 5/5
We absolutely loved the spa and pool area and the vast array of restaurants.
- 4/5
Our only complaint is there were no extras, no music in the lobby, no coffee or tea in the lobby. Only one of the restaurants serve breakfast, and the only option is a $32 buffet. The extra charge of $30 for self parking and extra $40 "resort fee" are customary but still frustrating after paying $459 per night to stay there. We have stayed in several nice historic hotels and for the price expect a few perks.
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel, but our resort view room stared out at a bottom floor bed of rocks and you couldn't see anything else so that wasn't worth the money. The beds were not comfortable in. The food was not great in the restaurant, but the ambience and the hotel itself is amazing.
- 3/5
Rooms are dated and smell musty
- 2/5
The positive sides were, the foyer with live music was nice. The seafood buffett was ok. Lets talk golf, we will never play the expensive course again! You could not find the next holes, no signage! The course was not well maintained, the greens were horrible, not food or restaurant on site! Such a disappointment.
- 5/5
It was the most beautiful hotel I have ever been to and the staff were so very nice. Everyone staying at the resort seemed so happy to be there.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful.
- 5/5
The property is amazing, staff very helpful and the history

Beautiful scenery
- 5/5
The Grove Park Inn made our Anniversary weekend unforgettable.
- 5/5
A beautiful historic property in Asheville with amazing mountain views!
- 5/5
We loved the huge lobby & fireplaces & the history of this beautiful resort. The staff were so friendly & helpful, especially Demara at the front desk.
- 5/5
We love everything about this place. We will definitely come back. All the staff were so nice. Love all the dining options. The only thing that I wish they could improve was the cleanness of the high chairs. We have a toddler. Whichever restaurants we went to, the high chair was always dirty. I understand that kids are messy. But I expected slightly cleaner high chairs from an upscale place like Omni Grove Park Inn. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
The staff was so friendly. The grounds are gorgeous. The food at all the restaurants was phenomenal. The marketplace was so convenient.
- 5/5
Perfeito lugar! Eu amo este hotel!

It was my mother’s 74th birthday and we had a wonderful time. Stayed in Room 545

Great spa and restaurants
- 5/5
It was amazing. First time staying overnight and it won’t be the last. Staff is very nice and courteous. The seafood buffet was great!! Elaine’s dual pianos was so much fun! Loved our stay ❤️
- 1/5
Omni had turned a national treasure into an overpriced tourist trap. Valet park for $40 a day or self park for $30. $22 cocktails in the lobby. $240 per person per day for use of the onsite “spa” pool or take a shuttle off property to a crowded Holiday Inn grade pool. A couple can enjoy dinner with a view for $300 on the terrace. After all this high end pampering you will be rewarded at check out with a long line and a 30 minute wait because the electronic check out is out of order. Stay away. Stay somewhere else when traveling to Asheville.
- 5/5
It is so hard to find a resort that can handle gluten free / celiac food and do it well and Grove Park Inn nailed it! Everyone was extremely happy with their options and experience.
- 5/5
The Spa is second to none!
- 5/5
What a great place to celebrate your anniversary it is historic and classy and peaceful. It has great dining options shopping, Golf Spa that’s amazing huge Fireplace and the best attentive staff. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating, and it is nestled up in the mountains in a beautiful historic hotel, hands-down one of my favorite getaways in Asheville..
- 5/5
I have a lot of strict food allergies, yet I was treated with the utmost highest quality service and was prepared personalized high quality meals. I looked forward to every meal that was prepared for me and I could tell the chefs tried their best to create something special. Not only the chefs, but all the managers, chefs, and front desk personnel knew about my needs and provided great service. Me and my wife are considering returning in the future!

Hotel was very clean and scenic views no matter where you are ! However, what stood out to us is the truly EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE !

Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa many more times. So very relaxing & a lot to do there. Excellent restaurants, ice cream, great coffees @ the market & great drinks & shops Can’t convey this enough. Great Great Great
- 4/5
Beautiful views, great customer service. Excellent spa!
- 4/5
The property was beautiful. Most of the service was amazing.
- 5/5
The staff is helpful but a bit slow and reception was unfriendly - didn't say welcome or hello or make much eye contact. Not allowing a guest to even tour the pool grotto when we were nt staying long enough to actually use it is ludicris. Hiding the most famous amenity is just rude and impacted how I felt about coming back.
- 5/5
We will definitely return! Leave all your worries behind, and let GPI take cae of you!
- 5/5
We had the best short stay at the property. The environment is welcoming and there is always entertainment options on site. The restaurants on site are exquisite and the views are breathtaking. The elevator and vibe were fairytale like.
- 5/5
We had a great time. Everything we needed was available. Fine line between historic and older—some areas might need some updates.
- 5/5
Amazing property! Breath taking views and hotel. Staff are great.
- 5/5
Beautiful accommodations and staff!
- 5/5
The valet parking was a bit disorganized. That’s it .
- 5/5
I liked it all!!!!! Will certainly return.
- 5/5
This was a beautiful property with shops and restaurants and a fantastic spa and golf course. Check in and you never have to leave the property!

Everything
- 5/5
Great property
- 5/5
My one disappointment was i saw several sweatshirts and tshirts with Grove Park Inn on it that I liked, but they had only xs and 2x sizes on all of them. It would have been a nice memento but nothing in M or L.
- 5/5
Absolutely beautiful property. Great staff and wonderful food.
- 5/5
So professional. Kindness. Lovely people.
- 5/5
Over all this visit was very nice, people were great, very cordial, property although 112 years old in very good shape, food was good. the only drawback wee
- 4/5
Everything was just...."almost". Almost close to being great but falling short. The front desk was probably the best part of the experience but that was part of the problem in the fact that what the resort promises is not what the resort delivers. It was supposed to be a dream weekend for the two of us but I was left a bit disappointed in how the concierge took care of us. If I had a special occasion and needed the important details to be taken care of, I WOULD NOT select the Grove Park and Inn to be the resort to do it.
- 5/5
Just a beautiful peaceful luxurious place to spend time
- 5/5
Always a wonderful stay.
- 5/5
Thanks for everything.
- 5/5
Beautiful views . Great Hall is excellent place to hang out. Didn’t use the spa services. But so tempting.
- 3/5
This property is very nice except that rooms in original building look very dated and the bathroom is tiny.. there is a step up which is very dangerous.. shower head in so low that I had tobdick.. I’m 6’1” tall. very outdated!!
- 5/5
Great stay and service. Can’t wait to be back.
- 5/5
A beautiful historic mountain hotel. Impeccable service and delightful views.
- 4/5
All great except they aren’t clear that to use the spa you have to buy a day pass (totally booked even on a Monday) or book a treatment- being a hotel guest isn’t enough even for even use of the pools/hot tub. And the woman at the spa desk was very rude explaining this. It doesn’t even say it on the welcome brochure where it touts the spa. This soured my stay as all I wanted to do was read a book in the hot tub for a couple hours before I checked out.
- 5/5
Wonderfully restored. Lovely staff.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel ,great mountain and golf view! Very relaxing
- 1/5
The rooms very small the mattresses too small and very old. When you stay they only to sleep you pay $450 a night anything else you have to pay. Looks nice and quite but not worth it
- 5/5
The resort was amazing; it was very appealing, spacious, and the service was excellent. We fell in love with the breathtaking views from the sunset terrace. We had an amazing time!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and spa was great!
- 5/5
We had a very nice stay. The hotel is beautiful and staff was great.

Pool pics are misleading. They show spa pool for which general hotel guest and kids under 18 have no access.
