    The hotel was adequate to spend a night but was not a very walkable location. They did have one restaurant you could walk to and it was a good BBQ place. Check in was a pleasure because of Richie Rich, the deskman. He recommended the restaurant and was an all-round nice guy.

    The hallways smelled like stale smoke but the room odor was atrocious. After asking the front desk for air freshener, which they didn’t have, I had to go to the store to buy some. The area is also very sketchy.

    Price Swimming pool was closed, roof was leaking, AC unit was busted off the wall and you good literally see a passage to outside, the room smelled like mildew, and breakfast was a joke. Oh and Someone named Sandra is operating a massage business (prostituting) out of the hotel.

    The staff was very friendly, it had just been mopped and it was clean. Barely got into the parking spot and was harassed by homeless people. Also, there was a bullet hole in the elevator which is why I left. I was worried my car would have gotten broken into to that night.

    Perfect location, just a few minutes from the city. Free parking always available. The breakfast was good—specifically the savory options. They definitely need to improve the air conditioning system—in the bedroom, but even more so in the bathroom. The fan wasn't extracting anything; the rooms remained constantly damp and saturated with odors, and there was no air exchange. Memorial Day was a holiday, but breakfast was served according to the weekday schedule (so we didn't have breakfast). The breakfast could be improved regarding the sweet options.

    Checked in late and the desk person was eating pizza and talking to someone else basically the whole interaction, I was barely acknowledged as a person. The room was okay once we got the air running. The bathroom was not okay. I could see urine on the floor next to the toilet, and the water did not get very hot, with very little water pressure.

    When I got there the lady at the front desk said the room I booked wasn’t available or cleaned so I had to downgrade. Then the room wasn’t fully cleaned the faucet was coming out the wall and there was a wet rag and a pill in the bathroom. The lady told us to talk to the manager in the morning about a refund but when we went to the front desk the next morning the person there (she was way nicer than the receptionist last night) said the manager doesn’t even come in on weekends so the lady lied to my face just to not deal with me. I’m just real disappointed in my experience

    This hotel definitely needs to be updated. There were no usb ports for electronics. Had 2 rooms. One room had no shower curtain and only 1 towel in it. The other room had previous guest items left in it. The breakfast was a 7/10.

    We stayed in room 2203. It was clean enough. There was no soap at the sink. The complimentary shampoo mounted in the shower, barely had enough for 2 people to use once. The conditioner was empty. The tub drained so slowly it filled as you took a shower. So you’re standing in dirty water. When you pull up the knob on the spigot to turn the shower head on, half the water still ran out of the tub spigot. The water was barely luke warm. Could use some handy repairs in the bathroom. Staff was incredibly nice tho. Cleanliness of hotel was moderate to good.

    The staff are just superb. I initially booked different accommodation but after talking to the staff, I decided to stay at the Comfort Inn. The staff were extremely helpful. Transportation can be a problem while the hotel is also a distance from shops.

    Good location, free parking, and a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the building is old and not well maintained. The room is large, but the carpet and bathroom were quite dirty—there was another guest’s hair everywhere and even old candy on the floor next to the bed.

    The room we had was terrible. Upon entering we were greeted by the smell of mold and dampness. The blackout curtains had holes, the window needed new weatherstripping, moisture between the panes of glass that fogs up the window then drips onto the windowstill. The ceiling had yellow spots and the bathroom looked as if someone just wiped it down with a damp cloth. The bedding needs to be replaced with a thicker comforter. The sheets looked as if someone had laid on them and then made. I had a flat sheet replacing the fitted sheet and an extra flat sheet because I didn't have a blanket under the comforter. Pillows were different sizes and filling material. The mattress need to be tossed out and replaced with memory foam mattress. Who still use coil mattresses? The breakfast and coffee were mediocre. It would help if there were two breakfast attendees instead one person running themselves ragged in making sure the breakfast items were in the chafing dishes. Thd owner neef to stop being cheap and order more plush and thick bath towels. I had a facecloth so thin, it ripped as I was rinsing it after washing my face.

    The staff was great, from the time we arrived to the time we checked out. Where the hotel was located was convenient to all the attractions we visited. The room had a bad odor smell( the carpet in the room needs to be cleaned), the beds are not comfortable I experienced severe lower back pain, and the water does not get hot.

    WARNING......The online pics look nothing like the hotel room we were given. Our entertainment center was balanced on beer can tops. While in bed at 1am we heard 5 gunshots just outside our hotel. We also had a very sketchy man follow us inside at 11:45pm. He loitered around the lobby which made us uneasy to go directly to the elevator in fear he was immediately follow us inside. We determined it was safer to take the stairs. Will NEVER stay here again and for others safety I would NOT recommend.

    Was told that because we were there multiple days they probably didn't want to go into the rooms because most people dont like them coming in. Told her we would have put a dont disturb sigh out if that was the case - oh yeah couldn't do that because we didn't have one. Should not be my responsibility to have to put my trash in bags and throw away nor have to fetch towels. The day we arrived we told them that our room was missing the coffee maker and that the light above the beds had burnt out. We never got the coffee maker of the light bulb replaced. Beware of the parking lot - we saw four cars with their windows smashed out. We made sure that everything was taken out of the car each night and even left the door unlocked. Asked to have the general manager contact us but not a single call while we were there or after we left. DO NOT USE THIS PROPERTY! The bathroom had little bugs all over the sink and the bathtub too. Told them that too but was told that they would let housekeeping know.

    No hot water was my biggest complaint. The water would run warm/cold but not hot. Which is kind of a let down after a long day of traveling. The room had that hotel room smell. Sheets were clean and room organized. The shower had a loose screw because the water would squirt out of the shower. I liked how we could check in early but had a $25 fee. It was in a sketchy location but we only needed a room to sleep. I didn’t try any other amenities.

    2 out of 3 room reservations that I did with Expedia did not show in Comfort Inn’s system. Good thing there are rooms available that day. We were told there was no milk for breakfast on the 2nd day. My daughter has to eat her cereals without milk. No toothbrush and toothpaste provided.

    As soon as we entered, we got the bad smell of the place. After checked in, unpacked all the belongings and settled down and switched on the TV which wasn't working, try to use the room telephone, that is also not working. When contacted the front desk, the women was so arrogant, and her reaction was like we're guilty because we booked their hotel, so I highly NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. I officially complained to Expedia as they should consider removing these crappy hotel operators as we're beginning to untrust quality of Expedia due to those experiences with the hotels we book through.

    We had 2 rooms and the whole floor smelled of pot. None of the beds had comforters. They were very thin sheets. We asked for blankets and staff stated we could move rooms but they couldn’t take blankets from clean rooms. They did not have the key to the housekeeping locker either. The staff was nice and tried to accommodate but they were limited to supplies.

    The lobby hand sanitizers were all completely empty or not working. The lobby bathroom soap dispenser was empty and looked as though it was always empty and they put a large bottle of hand sanitizer instead. My first room was very hot and the AC was broken so I switched rooms. The whole building on the guest room floors smelled like cigarette smoke even though the rooms say no smoking. It was not at all what the description and photos portrayed. l actually left after my first night reservation and got another hotel. I would have tried to get a refund but I booked through booking.com and it was non refundable. Very disappointed. The bed in my room was very uncomfortable. It had a depression in the springs where it felt so worn out from people sleeping there.

    The website needs to do a better job of explaining the early check-in guidelines. Got to my hotel early,as my train from Greenville to Atlanta arrived early in the morning (it's the only train that goes from GVL to ATL) At around 9 or so in the morning (I made it clear when I booked this hotel) I got ubered to the hotel only to be turned away. The lady said that I couldn't check in until 12 noon. So I went somewhere to find breakfast. And literally had to "hangout " at a chick fil a until it deemed time to check in. The Wi-Fi in this facility could have been better. Kept having trouble when came to my PS5(which needs a internet connection to operate). Also there was little to no hot water in this hotel and the toilet in my bathroom was 'running' water like the commode was broken.

    There were no dark curtains to cover completely the window and being on the ground level that was a major concern. Anyone will see in from outside. Room didn't have towels, I went down to the front desk and it took them 3 hrs, plus a reminder to get me the towels. No fridge in the room. Items in the breakfast menu were overcooked, no juice...no one around to restock or help.

    Nice location The AC wasn’t working, so they had to change our room. It took us about 20 minutes until a someone showed up at the front desk to talk to us, when we asked to change rooms. Breakfast was poor and staff wasn’t wearing uniforms, they we were wearing socks and flip flops! The same guy who was at the front desk when we checked in was the guy responsible for the breakfast, no uniform, and flip flops.

    Everything smelled like weed. The hallways, my room, etc. My alarm clock did not have the time programmed correctly and was blinking. And, without me turning it on (I didn't ever touch the clock), the alarm went off in the morning when I didn't want it to. The water in the shower got cold very fast (although thankfully after a few minutes warmed back up). The showerhead was loose and so it was spraying water outside of the shower until I noticed it and tightened the showerhead to stop the leak.

    The staff are rude. I booked this this christmas trip with my 3 children under the age of 5. The ice machine next to my room was leaking water into my room soaking the carpet and leaving the room with a strong mildew odor. The person at the desk refused to move my room or cancel my reservation and provide me with a refund. Forcing me to leave the hotel the next morning. The manager did refund part of my stay but my overall experience with them was poor.

    This hotel was extremely dirty and felt unsafe. The rooms had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the carpets smelled very bad. The hallways and elevator were also dirty and poorly maintained.     Nice staff, decent breakfast, but god awful conditions of the room and building. Incredibly dirty, to an unhygienic level. So poorly maintained it was almost unbelievable. Plugs would literally fall out of the wall outlets. Very little lighting in the rooms. Somehow every single ice machine in the entire building was not working for the duration of our stay. Was warned by no less than 4 Uber drivers that this is an incredibly bad part of town, and that we absolutely should not venture outside of the hotel, even during the day. When we first pulled up to the hotel there were what appeared to be homeless people camped outside. Do not under any circumstances stay here.

    We reserved a smoke free room for our visit, after check in we took the elevator to our 6th floor room. The entire 6th floor smelled of marijuana when we reached it. After entering our room I immediately observed cigarette burns in the carpet in several places. When getting ready for bed I pulled away the comforter which revealed potato chip crumbs on top of the sheets.. Between these experiences, the unknown fluids on the floor of the elevator, and visible water damage on the rooms popcorn ceiling we’ve filed a report with the local health department.. I’ve never had to do this before, we’re reaching out with Expedia to start a chargeback based on how many issues were present.

    I booked four rooms for myself and family members, we were all there for the burial of our son. We were not familiar withe area, but I trusted Choice Hotels, big mistake. No clean towels on request, electrical outlets not working, staff indifference, charged a family member for a room that was already booked on my credit card.     Good thing about his place is it was low cost in comparison to others. They also do not charge parking fees! The beds were actually comfortable and appeared clean. It’s old and in need of serious updates. We kept calling it the “landlord special” because every issue looks to just have layers and layers of paint over the top. The carpets were disgusting and sticky. The surfaces were dirty (syrup or something all over the desk. Ice bucket lid was covered in who knows what. Had to rinse the hairs out of the tub prior to showering. We went to 4 floors to find a working ice machine. Only one elevator worked and it was the slowest elevator I’ve ever experienced. Check- in was fine, just no real kindness or welcoming personality. We eat at a lot of complimentary breakfast hotels due to so much travel with sports- this was by far the worst. Everything was just runny and steamed. So unappealing. You get what you pay for.

    The hotel was ok. The hotel & room had a smokey older smell. The bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable and clean. There was a very small bug-roach that ran out from under the coffee tray when we were making coffee. The area was right across the street from the old ATL braves stadium now GA state university stadium. The area felt a little unsafe but nothing ever happened. The staff was very nice. The hotel seemed like it hadn’t been updated since covid. Covid info and signs still up. The price was very reasonable since it was close to downtown. Easy to get an Uber etc… overall probably a 3.5.

    Only recommending this hotel if you LITERALLY have no where else to go and only plan on sleeping there. Dingy and old. Only one elevator worked. Sink in the room was clogged. The room wasnt vaccumed. Woke up in the morning to a roach crawling across the desk. The rate was fairly cheap but i could have stayed at a motel 6 or red roof inn for the same price and better quality. Oh, and they will give you a paper basically saying lock your stuff up and make sure nothing is exposed in your car because youre in the city (duh) but why say that and not have security on site?

    This hotel is at best 1 star. The interior is old and in disrepair. Both our rooms and the halls smelled awful.. a mix of industrial cleaner, mildew and a stale smoke residue. We complained to management but they would not offer us a refund so we could stay somewhere else. Tv was broken in one of the rooms and in the other, the toilet got clogged however no one showed up to help. We even asked for a plunger to handle ourselves but were told they didn’t have one!     It took them 45 mins to check us in, the lobby had no circulating AC. The elevators are slow and dangerous. The maintenance sticker says the elevator was last serviced on 6/2022 and that the service was expired since 2023. The blankets provided in the room had stains on it. The electrical sockets in the room did not work, along with the TV. The parking lot is small and cramped.

    We booked 2 king rooms and were told upon arrival that only queens were available. (Paid extra for the king option) Check in personnel said there was nothing they could do. You are required to make an additional $150 payment for incidentals upon check in that will be refunded if there is no damage at checkout. Shower temp would not regulate, scalding or freezing with nothin in between. A dead roach was found on the pillow of one of the beds.

    The parking lot and outside of the hotel needs some painting, cleaning and landscaping to make it look nice again. When I checked in, the lobby air conditioner was not working very well. They told me they were overbooked for some reason, so they would give me a better room with a jacuzzi I never intended to use. But 2 days later, my keys didn't work; when I went to the lobby to have them fixed, they tried to make me move to my originally booked room, because they needed the upgrade room for another Gold customer (or something like that), to which I refused. I thought it was very rude to even suggest that I move after being unpacked and everything. They complied and I stayed in the room. I believe the staff needs better training to handle such situations in a more pleasant way for the customers. The way to our room also felt scary; you could see the "guts" of the hotel on the way to the room (the laundry room), and there was a large table placed in the middle of the hallway, as if the hallway was a storage room. The cleaning lady was very nice to us; it took her some time to finish the room, but she did a good job. The room was well supplied and everything worked properly. After blocking the door with a chair, we slept like babies! Breakfast was OK, too; I loved the waffle maker. It is an old hotel, but the overall customer experience could be improved by making small, targeted investments.

    First, we stayed there for 3 days and the room was never cleaned. We went to the front desk and requested the room be cleaned but it was never done. On the second day we went down to the desk that night and requested towels. We were told that she did not have but 2 towels and we needed to bring the dirty towels in order to get new ones. We requested cleaning services on the second and third day too and neither time was cleaned. I have used this hotel chain many times but never experienced service like this before.

    The beds were beyond uncomfortable. Felt every spring in the mattress. Bathrooms were atrocious so did not use shower (hair and stains were visibly present)

    1. the area where the hotel is located isn’t a good one, you could sense the insecurity from the get go. 2. I felt unsafe at the hotel as few drugged people came in while I was checking out at night, there is no security at the hotel door. 3. I had to check out the same day I check in due to the unsafe conditions I personally felt, the Hotel Staff was not helpful to check me out, tried to talk to the manager many times via phone and she didn’t want to help either. 4. The room floor was smelly, ugly and the elevator in very poor condition. Such a bad experience, would never book again.

    I just needed to lay over for one night. But if I had to stay for breakfast or second day, I would not have stayed. Hotel had young adults walking, talking loudly & smoking weed all night. It reaped in the hallway. It smelt musty and the room lights were extremely dim.

    On June 16 at 9:30 am. One of the clean up crew opened the door without knocking and didn’t apologize and just closed the door. My wife was barely dressed. We were at room 4404. I didn’t notify the front desk for a room clean up and I know that check out is at 11:00. But the lady that was taking care of the food did an awesome job. It was also a hot weekend and they always kept cold water by the front desk which was nice. All in all I would recommend and stay there again!

    Cons: Air Conditioner... is 1 foot away from one of the beds and blows really hard on those sleeping there. I built a wall of pillows to try to block the air flow but usually ended up having to turn the temp up or off to fall asleep, then would wake up sweating. If 2 people had to share that bed, one of them better like sleeping in an arctic wind tunnel. If you like cold air blowing on you, which I know some people do, you're set but if you don't, it's a tricky thing to deal with. The one working elevator was super, super slow. Luckily, we were on the 2nd floor so the steps weren't a big deal but any higher up and it would have mattered a lot after a long work day on my feet.

    Very bad service. The rooms were disgusting with a heavy urine smell in the room and blood on the sheets. We did not stay and hotel staff was extremely rude and uncooperative. This place needs to be shut down. No quality control at all especially for a Comfort Inn franchise.
