Reviews
The hotel is praised for its cleanliness and proximity to the Battery and Truist Park, making it a popular choice for those attending games. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful. However, there are several complaints about the parking situation, with guests finding it expensive and inconvenient. Some guests also report issues with the air conditioning, noise, and maintenance in the rooms.

Rented a room here to attend Braves baseball game because it is in walking distance to Truist Park. This stay was everything I expected. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to attend a Braves game. Parking was included and I was allowed to park before the game. The game was before check-in time so this saved me from paying for parking. They offer breakfast and though I did have to pay for breakfast it was well worth it.

Everything was good. 👍

Great staff, great location, not the most updated property. Serves the purpose night of a Braves game.

Overall the stay was very good. The staff was extremely helpful and the room was clean. The water pressure in the shower was not very good. Also, at its highest temperature the water in the shower would be best described as a little warm. The air conditioner was also very loud, which doesn’t really bother me. However, I could see that being an issue for some folks.

This hotel is poorly maintained. Evidence of water damage behind wallpaper and along floor. One of our rooms smelled like mildew, the other room the bathroom like flickered really badly like a strobe light. We had to ask for another room for the one with the odor. Staff was really accommodating and quickly got us into another room and comped our parking. The elevators also appeared u safe. The plexiglass back walls were poorly sealed with large gaps in the silicon which create a fall hazard. Staff were great in every interaction but the hotel is dated and not well maintained. I wouldn’t stay again.

Rooms are clean and of the typical higher standard of a Hilton hotel.
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice. The location was perfect, as we attended a Braves game and were able to walk there and back with ease. We did have a problem with the AC in the room. It was not fixed until after we returned from the game but by bed time the temperature was perfect. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.
- 5/5
Very easy to get to and right by the stadium. Room was beautiful and clean. Very nice hotel.
- 5/5
The interior of the hotel is beautiful, our suite room was perfect and easily fit myself, partner and his friend. The double entrance to the bathroom was convenient for both the friend in the living space and us in the bedroom to use. The location was nice to be able to walk the city as well. The A/C was not very cold so our room was quite hot even after hours of having the temp lowered.

The service was awesome. Location great. Easy to find. The overall staff met the expectation. The young lady from Jamaica at the bar was very nice and we had a warm welcoming conversation especially when she found out we were there because of our anniversary. The dinner we ordered was very good. The room was spacious enough for the two of us and clean. Would love to come back. I asked to not be on a high floor due to my fear of height and they granted my wish. Thank you for that. The breakfast was pricey for what was given. We could have had more of a selection for what we paid but the items we were served were cooked very well. We have stayed at other Hilton's and the breakfast was free and there was plenty to choose from. It's unfair to pay to park at hotels that you are already paying to spend the night in my opinion. What else can you do with your vehicle if you drive up. We were there just as a getaway for the weekend because it was our anniversary and we enjoyed ourselves, but this particular Hilton was the only one we have stayed at so far where we paid separately to park and eat breakfast.

This hotel was amazing!!! The hotel, bar and rooms were very clean. The staff was very helpful and extremely nice. The only thing I didn’t agree with was the $35 per day for parking. Other than this, I definitely recommend staying here.

Location to Battery park. To start our stay the keys didn’t work, so I had to return to the front desk for new keys. Room looked clean at first but later we found someone’s sock in the living area. Room was worn with cracks & broken tile in bathroom. NO microwave, so unable to warm up my breakfast. Sorry but at higher room rate I didn’t expect to also pay for parking & breakfast buffet was also not complimentary. It looked like a regular help yourself buffet.

Location was excellent for the Battery and Truist Park. Breakfast was superb! Rooms were quiet and comfortable with excellent bed. Staff was wonderful and very personable. Jarvis at the front desk was especially fun and helpful! Would have been nice to have a shuttle, because transportation to other places and the airport was expensive. I would definitely recommend this hotel if going to any Braves Games and the Battery.

We got to the property on Saturday evening during a weekend of the Braves playing at home - our room was 78 degrees when we checked in but figured it would kick on when we turned it down and left to get some food. When we got back to the room, it was still 78 so I checked with the front desk - who called maintenance. Maintenance immediately said "Ohh Room xxx - the air conditioning unit is frozen. It has been all week". So, knowing that, the Front Desk asked if they had fans, which they did not. The agent let me know that they were sold out and could not move us to another room, but she could comp our parking and could walk us to a different property but she "couldn't guarantee it'd be anywhere close by". This was not ideal since we were there for a Braves game - so we declined moving hotels but told her the situation was not ideal. Maintenance checked our room and confirmed it was frozen, and after, the Front Desk manager called and offered to walk us to the Doubletree Ballpark (~10-minute drive) or comp our room. We ordered a fan online and decided to just get the room comped to stay since we had other family onsite as well. We thought that would be it but we were wrong. I had to argue with the hotel via hotels.com to get the refund processed and despite them requiring a 2-night minimum for the weekend, they only refunded one night of the stay. They acted like we made up the situation and just had very poor customer service overall.
- 5/5
Perfect location for a Braves game! Great room, super friendly staff and really good breakfast!
- 4/5
The staff is great. The food is very good. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. The building looks like they can't afford proper maintenance or are unwilling to invest in room makeovers. Think wore out1970s. The desk chair in my room required my bed pillow to sit down in it. Not Doubletree standards.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. cookies were great. I gained a pound or two because they definately kept them coming when i asked for them LOL. the layout of the room was odd but it was clean and comfortable. The elevators came fast but i dont know if because it wasnt really packed but it was a plus to get quickly up and down when leaving or going to my room. view was not great. Maybe because we were only put on the 2nd floor. but we didnt really get to see anything. While the view was not great and one of the elevators was acting up during our stay that was not detrimental to our stay just did not add to it either.

- 4/5
Location was good for event we attended. We did not have breakfast but room was very clean and parking was very close by and gated.

Parking was excellent and everything was perfect!
- 4/5
I really like this hotel we come here often. The rooms are clean and staff is friendly. I hope they keep that up.
- 5/5
The staff was friend
- 5/5
The room was clean and well maintained, some wallpaper was pulling away from the wall but not enough to look trashy. The room service was a bit difficult to figure out so we just used UberEats. The area was safe and well lit outside, there is reserved parking (35) a night, nice, easy, and accessible. Security was on the property as well walking around and monitoring. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
- 4/5
Breakfast buffet was fresh and varied. Hotel lobby and bar area was spacious and were able to watch Braves game on several TVs.
- 5/5
Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Very close to Truist Park. Didn’t eat at restaurant, so can’t speak to that. Clean room, very friendly staff.
- 1/5
That explained, I couldn’t have been more embarrassed and disappointed at this hotel. For this hotel to be in such a preferred tourist and locally popular location, it’s a shame the way it is presented… The first thing that hits you is the moldy smell when you walk in. The second thing is the beat-up furniture and guest elevators. The third is while riding the glass elevators you noticeably see all the stains on the atrium walls as you ride up. We then got to the room (hallways are all marked up too) and immediately noticed the room wasn’t clean to our expectations as there was food wrappers on the floor that assumably belonged to previous guests, which then made us suspect the sheets and other things weren’t cleaned with care and attention either. With all that having been experienced, my folks insisted on staying there because I had already prepaid for their stay. This changed when later that evening they called and told me the hot water wasn’t working in their shower for some reason. I ended up checking them in at the Embassy Galleria hotel that very evening which was a much better experience - however I wasn’t able to get a refund because the stay at the Double Tree was booked through Travelocity - so basically I paid for four days at a terrible hotel that we never stayed in.
- 5/5
The room was awesome and very clean! The staff was an absolute breath of fresh air!
- 4/5
I booked our stay there because it was close to the venue we were attending and I am so glad we did because it was storming the day of the event and the hotel was close enough to go back and forth and the parking deck was right there as well. If you are attending the cocoa cola roxy venue I recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Staff was so welcoming and friendly from check in to check out. Room was clean and spacious. Entire property was clean and quiet.
- 2/5

Love the hotel and location
- 3/5
A few unexpected expenses at the hotel, parking has been increased to $35 per day. Had several issues with the AC unit in our room but as soon as I let the front desk know, they switched our room. Very friendly staff!
- 1/5
I made a huge mistake booking this hotel. I normally book Marriott, but chose this hotel for its location (which is its only perk) and the pictures seemed to do it justice online. We were in town for an event, so we checked into our room, set our stuff down and did not pay attention to detail until our return late that night. We would find black mold all over the ceilings in the shower, the shower filling up with water as we showered, meaning we would have to stand in our own filth up to our ankles and the bathroom sink filling with water as we brushed our teeth, which did not drain for quite some time. Whoever came in after to brush their teeth had to wait for the sink to drain from the person prior. On top of that we came back with items to put in our refrigerator... but the refrigerator was warm, meaning our food we purchased was wasted. Coffee stains all over the sugar packets and creamer from assuming another room or a guest prior. All of this, plus being charged $35 to park at the hotel I was already paying to stay at was a MASSIVE waste of money. The $50 incidentals charge is laughable seeing as how nothing works properly, nothing is taken care of or cleaned properly and its absolutely disgusting. I absolutely will never book another Hilton due to this experience. It was disgusting and not worth the charges accrued.
- 5/5
The room was very clean, the staff were nice. We enjoyed the nearby shops and restaurants.

Wonderful location by the Truist Park Baseball Stadium and the associated Restaurants/Bars.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and staff was very courteous
- 5/5
Love the room! Very comfy beds
- 2/5
Room was dirty when we arrived. Light from outside went straight into our bedroom all night long.
- 2/5
Was not charged the amenity fee at check in so the desk clerk came to my room at midnight (I was trying to go to sleep) and told me to come down to the front desk. In the morning at check out, was not charged the correct fee at check in for parking so I ended up having to pay $60 for parking instead of the advertised $35. Was told they could not refund me the $25 difference.

The highlight of my stay was the incredible customer service, especially from Sylvia at the front desk. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. She made me feel at home from the moment I arrived and treated me like family. Her kindness truly made my stay memorable.

Dirty. Room falling apart. Paid for a balcony room. They gave me just a regular room without telling me they weren’t able to give me the balcony room I paid for. Coffee maker in room was dirty and nasty. Wasn’t able to use

We were only there one night and chose this hotel to be able to walk to The Roxy for a show. Everything was comfortable and clean. People at the desk were friendly, polite, helpful. It was a 5 minute walk to the venue. Warm cookies when we checked in made a great first impression after hours on the road. Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Parking was charged by the parking garage and the rate was more than I was told.

Room was great, friendly staff

Clean room, fitness center and friendly staff.

Spotless room comfortable and roomy. I believe this used to be a Hyatt the way its set up. Right on the battery,,

For a 4 star hotel it was giving 2 stars. I understand there are likely a lot of changes going on and perhaps there were things going on behind the scenes that guests were unaware of. But Ive never stayed at a hotel where everyone working there seemed so MISERABLE. Just so unhappy, it was genuinely sad. The front desk was regularly empty and youd have to call to get someone to come up and help you. Lots of people just waiting around to be helped. There was a bald gentleman working at night who was very kirt and seemed quite rude when speaking to guests. The hallways smelled horrible, the shower fauced had a HORRIBLE squeaking noise and the room was so dusty and seemed like it hadnt been cleaned in a while. Also it should be noted that the incidentals are not $50 total but $50 PER DAY stayed. That would have been helpful to know before. The phones in the room didnt work to call down to the front desk or room service so anytime anything was needed tou had to go downstairs to get help. Again, I would imagine for a 4 star hotel to be this way something must have happened or be going on, but regardless of having empathy and grace for the staff, it was a pretty poor stay, especially for what was paid. One positive is the cookies were good :). But I definitely would not stay here again.
- 5/5
I did not eat breakfast

Breakfast was amazing

Great location for Braves game. Staff was ok. Clean room.

Comforter has semen, request change but housekeeper never change for us.
- 4/5
Room was fine and staff was too. Big issue with the smell of marijuana on every level. We traveled with our baseball team and every family said the same thing which clearly indicates it’s a problem that needs to be addressed. Rooms should be smoke free regardless of the type of smoke.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Trip was amazing hotel connected to the battery area without the battery tax
- 5/5
wasn't up by 10:00 am to have breakfast. I stayed at other doubletree hotels, so I am sure it was similar and fine.
- 5/5
Staff was great
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly and the hotel was very clean. The area was very walkable as well.
- 1/5
We stayed for a concert. From the moment we got to this hotel we had problems. The bath tub was clogged a soon as my niece took a shower. Which was about 20 minutes after we arrived. When we called the front desk he said maintenance was on lunch. Maintenance comes to the door and tells us he thought we were the same guest from earlier. However they had already checked out. Also during check in our room key didn’t work so I had to go back downstairs twice to get the key programmed. Later that night after the concert the room key wasn’t unlocking the door and it was other guest who had the same problem. I will never stay at this double tree again.
- 3/5
Stay started off rocky because we booked our room through Expedia, and when we arrived to hotel- the room we booked was not the room that was given to us. We were told it was because we booked through a 3rd party. They did give us the room that we needed, but we had to sit and negotiate with the front desk to do so.
- 4/5
Staff was great. Room could have been cleaner.
- 4/5
A/C was disappointing!
- 5/5
We were just there for one night, but the room was very clean. Plenty of room. It had a living room and two tv's. Bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels and wash clothes. The staff at the front counter was very friendly and helpful both checking in and checking out. We will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Staff was so nice and helpful. Hotel is beautiful. Room was amazing and clean. Parking was easy and very close to hotel entrance.
- 4/5
The staff is really nice, the cook is friendly and can really do a mean omelet. Room service was nice and does a bang up job. I may stay again but the area of town (Smyrna/Marietta/Cumberland) has more options that i may check out.
- 5/5
Everything was great. Only issue was trash was not removed nor room straightened up between days.
- 4/5
The AC could not be adjusted from the room and the desk would not answer to have air adjusted like sign in room said. It would just ring or ring busy. Would not answer for a wake up call either
- 4/5
Very convenient location for a Braves Game
- 5/5
Front desk-exceptional!! Cookies- top self- lemondrop -perfect
- 5/5
Thankful for clean rooms and easy access to Truist Park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much.
- 5/5
This was a very nice hotel and the staff was very nice!
- 5/5
My room was cozy and comfortable. Great set up with a little living room and kitchenette space. I stayed 1 night for a concert at the Roxy, but it would have been a great set up for a family weekend away too! I didn't partake in any meals on site, but for breakfast I walked to the Battery and got food at Goldbergs. I would definitely stay again if I was back in the area.

Convenient to Atlanta Braves Truist Park....!!!
- 5/5
The room was perfect. The staff was friendly as well. We were there for the Chris Brown concert abc it was literally in walking distance,
- 4/5
Property has a spacious ground floor and three exits but only one way to enter back into the building. The floor we were staying on needed some caulking and was humid.
- 3/5
The parking was not sufficient due to the hotel catering to the concert guest more than the hotel guest. I had one attendant demand that I turn around and leave because they were blocking off the entrance. When I asked him, turn around and go where, he stated "wherever you came from". It was rude and unnecessary. Another attendant had to inform him that I was indeed a hotel guest. No, he would not have known but why would he assume I wasn't a guest? The shower was not clean, but we were rushed for time, had to clean it ourselves. The site advertised a shuttle, no shuttle. Would I stay there again? Doubt it.
- 5/5
The cleanliness of the property was great. It was very convenient if you are attending an Atlanta Braves game or concert at the stadium. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the stadium. My only gripe is that I think there should be a sign about checking in before going to try and park in the garage. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
Enjoyed my stay
- 4/5
Right at The Battery, Perfect location.
- 5/5
Our suite was perfect for the 4 of us!. More than what I hoped for. Walking distance to the stadium

Great Property & Excellent Customer service

My favorite part was the cookie.
- 5/5
The front desk attendants were friendly.. Hotel was clean and bright.. the room was awesome!!
- 5/5
We were in town for a Braves game and this is our go-to place to stay! You absolutely cannot beat the location. In addition to the location, the hotel was very clean and all employees went above and beyond for wonderful costumer service. Thank you for a great stay!
- 5/5
We loved how close it was to Truist Park!
- 5/5
Staff were super friendly . Great place to stay if you’re going to braves game .
- 3/5
When I reserved it online, it said breakfast was included; however, when we got there, the buffet breakfast cost $22. so we had to settle for the complimentary breakfast, which was never mentioned while booking the hotel room
- 3/5
The toilet wouldn’t flush. The handle on the bathroom door was broken. The shower gel dispenser stopped working.
- 2/5
Unexpected parking & breakfast fees. Refrigerator in room didn’t work , furnishings damaged. 1 night stay almost $900 . Over rated !
- 5/5
Great stay for a Braves game
- 4/5
Reserved a 2 queen bed sweet 2/3/25 for my second stay at this facility. Was changed to a King with a pullout due to apparent air condition problems. Although the new rooms air conditioner worked, room was run down. Ceiling falling, wallpaper peeling off the walls, rust stains in bathroom, furniture beat up, and phone was inop. Not what i expected for $600/night. Customer service was top notch and second to none as usual. Still had a great time and the Braves whooped the Giants.
- 5/5
Staff really pleasant and close to the battery.

Great place to stay
- 5/5
Excellent staff, smooth check in.
- 4/5
The buffet breakfast was about the same that I got at my last stay at a Best Western but the breakfast there was complimentary. Doubletree presented me with a bill for over $22. I've also stayed at Embassy Suites. Their breakfasts are not only made to order but they are also complimentary. Doubletree should be at least up to Best Western standards and make it's breakfast buffets complimentary.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Excellent staff. Quiet and very comfortable.
- 4/5
Overall the hotel was clean and close to where he had plans to go. Although the ice machine didn’t work and no signs. The information was incorrect concerning the room service.
- 5/5
Stay was nice overall. Rooms were clean and comfortable, however bathrooms need updating. Shower drained slowly, for cost space should be updated.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful. Cleanliness good. Professional hiding high profile KPOP group staying. We knew they were there but wanted to let them rest so we kept it secret too.
- 5/5
Fantastic location, amazing staff! Very comfortable
- 5/5
The location was great! We went to the Stray Kids concert at Truist Park and were able to walk to/from easily. Close/easily accessible to various highways. Rooms were nice - separate sleeping / relaxing areas - clean. Staff were very friendly. Parking garage right next to property was easy to access.
- 5/5

The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful before and after the Braves’ game. The room was nice and clean. Will stay again.
- 5/5
Fantastic area of Atlanta that I'd not been to before. We were there for a show at the Roxy and easily walked from the hotel to dinner to the venue and back. Super cool vibe in that section of ATL. Can't wait to get back.
- 5/5

All the personnel I came in contact with was very courteous and friendly!

Short walk to trust park. Great location.

The staff at the front desk, house cleaning and breakfast crew were all delightful and very personable. The suite we had was perfect for our needs. I liked the separate living area - sitting on a couch rather than a bed to watch TV. Doubletree is a real treasure and great value. So convenient to the Battery and Truist Park. Definitely our choice when attending Braves' games.

The bartender was amazing. Front desk staff was top notch. Room was great.

Only thing we didn’t like was that one of the two elevators was broken down all weekend. Made getting up & down rough, with some waiting involved

Location

Property seems older and dated. Shower had rust stains, toilet didn’t flush properly, and no fan in the bathroom to help with shower steam and condensation.

Excellent Service

The staff were not creamery friendly and accommodating.

I did not get the room I reserved. I reserved a suite with balcony. I was given a single room with a view of the air conditioners on the roof. The clerk said it was because I used 3rd party website and it wasn't their fault. We had to pay double for parking because validation didn't work at parking deck exit. Air conditioner was loud. But I have to say hotel staff was very friendly and personable!

The hotel is great. The staff is very friendly from the moment you walk in. The room was outstanding and the location to Truist Park and the Battery is amazing.
- 4/5
The door on our room was really hard to open and took several tries. That is my only complaint!
- 5/5
Great proximity to shopping and Truist park.

Always love staying here for game days!

Close to ballpark

It was obvious the room had been broken into because the door jam had a large piece missing and the floor plate under the door was also missing. Additionally, the footstool was torn. The room was clean and was very comfortable, but at this price, these things shouldn't have been like that.

The hotel is conveniently located right by the baseball stadium and lots of other venues. Clean rooms, safe location, and you can walk. The gentleman at the front desk named Jarvis greeted us with wonderful customer service. People like him are what makes our stay even better I look forward to coming again soon🙂

This hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to truist Park. You also need the beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. We attempted to order room service during our stay but we're told they don't offer room service. However, there is a room service menu so maybe they will bring it back. Overall it was a good stay and we would stay again

Excellent stay. Came to see the Savanna Bananas play at truist. Very convenient for anything going on in the Battery. Would 100% stay here again for any trip coming to Atlanta!

If it wasn't for the property being close to the Battery, we would've stayed elsewhere and probably will not return.

I don’t like that all parties agreed NOT TO CANCEL 3 minutes after I booked due to error. Very unfortunate and for being a rewards member, very disappointing

My cousins and I came to Atlanta for a concert. The hotel was down the street from our venue which was great. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, I will stay again.

Room 822 that we stayed in was dreadful. The ac did not work so our room was unbearably hot. I called the front desk twice to let them know. No offer to move rooms or send someone up to look at the a.

Doubletree was close to what we were in town for and was a well-kept hotel. The staff was amazing.

All of the staff were so friendly and nice, only a little bit of trouble with the toilet in the room almost coming out of the floor when you sat on it other than that it was a wonderful experience and would definitely be staying there again
