I request a receipt, 1 staff said when I will be leaving to come. When the time arrive the y told me it will be by email. Until today I received NO RECEIPT - That's for everything out there - NO SERVICE. I request a receipt and I still DID NOT RECEIVED ONE. NO ASSISTANCE! No one to direct to the parking or at the door when you arrived. Very scaring at night if you are by yourself. STAFF PROVIDED DIFFERENT ANSWERS ALL TIME. The Phone in my Room was not working. Unable to reach the reception. I request it fixed and it has never be done until the end of my stay.

The hallways were stuffy & smelled of cigarette smoke. The exposed box springs were filthy & new ones need to be ordered. If I return to Atlanta I will not return to this hotel! The website makes the hotel & rooms look really nice but it’s the opposite!

While was there the hotel lost water, we was not offered any sort of compensation for that. We was told that we could buy bottled water in the lobby if we needed to brush our teeth. Atlanta was also put under a 24 hour boil water advisory and they didn't inform people staying here. We had to find out from the convention center. The breakfast was very lackluster this stay. The 3 other times we stayed here it was always great. This place has always been our go to stay when we visit downtown, maybe next time we'll have to find a different place.

Extremely clean and good breakfast! It was close to the Olympic Park, the Aquarium and museums. The bed was comfy and everything was great! Would absolutely stay again!

So convenient to Emory Midtown Hospital! We just kept our vehicle parked at hospital garage for the duration and enjoyed the short walk back and forth to visit our daughter and new grandbaby! A very nice breakfast buffet each morning, and room was spacious and quiet. Bed was very comfortable.

I had a total of 3 rooms booked, my 2 colleagues were place in handicap 1st floor rooms. We asked to move and was denied. Hotel is dated. Not what I would expect from Hyatt.

The hotel staff were friendly This property is not what I expected from a Hyatt! The hotel is located near some run down and abandoned buildings. You have to be buzzed in the building for entrance. The homeless make camp at the church next door and the VERY small parking area is surrounded by barbed wire! It is very walkable to area attractions however doesn’t feel safe at certain times. The bathrooms are VERY small! There was minimal room to move around. Our stay was not bad but I would not stay at this location again.

The stsff was excellent everyone was friendly and did there job well. The room was comfortable and clean just one small issue the handle for the tub was loose so it was hard to adjust the hot and cold water. Breakfast was great for the price of my stay. I didn't drive so i didnt have to pay.

Room was tight for a family of 5. The sofa bed pull out could use an update. The bathroom was extremely small. The fitness/gym was not what was pictured in the hotel details. Parking was okay, had a gated area for guest, it is limited spaces available. Breakfast was okay. The hotel was about 12-15 mins from the aquarium and Coca Cola exhibit. Would recommend getting back to hotel before it gets dark out.

Great stay. Live in Atlanta but book this hotel during concert at State Farm Arena. Was convenient to the venue. Good interaction with staff, would definitely stay again the next time I need a place in the downtown area.

The staff really stood out—they were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful whenever we had questions. Our room was also a highlight: it was a nice size, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. My only downside was the bathroom. It felt quite cramped and could definitely use some updating compared to the rest of the room. That said, it didn’t take away too much from an otherwise very positive experience. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Service was professional, hosts were accommodating and friendly and the breakfast was great. The room was clean, but keep in mind that if you reserve a room with 2 full size beds, you may get a bathroom (toilet and shower section) that is very small. Nice brewery/ restaurant next door, 10-15 minute walk to Centennial Park, Coca-Cola world, Georgia Aquarium and Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Overall safe neighborhood but be conscious and aware of your surroundings when walking to and from the hotel. It was a quality stay and would consider booking this hotel again in the future.

The hotel doesn’t have a pool and a spa. Not sure if a fitness was there. A room cleanness is okay but a sink is running bad. It clogs quickly after a water runs every time. Also, a smell of the detergent was too excessive.

Breakfast was limited. I recently stayed at Hyatt Place Atlanta and unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. While the location is undeniably convenient—right in the heart of downtown—the rooms themselves felt subpar. The finishes, overall upkeep, and attention to detail didn’t reflect what was advertised. In particular, the photos on Booking.com painted a much more polished and modern picture than what was actually delivered. There was a noticeable gap between expectation and reality, especially when it came to the condition of the rooms and the perceived quality of the amenities. For a property with such a strong brand name and central location, I expected a more elevated and consistent standard. That said, the staff was generally courteous, and the common areas were better maintained than the rooms themselves. However, based on the room experience alone, I would likely consider other options on my next visit to Atlanta.

The property condition was not quite what we expected. Part of our outer doorknob fell off multiple times during our stay. You had to be careful to pull the door all the way shut behind you or it would stay propped open. The carpets in the room were dirty. There was a weird drive thru type window in the bathroom with no screen that at one point got stuck open. There was $153.07 charges to the room with no receipt provided

The staff were all friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Hotel is in a very convenient location. We were able to walk to the Aquarium and the World of Coke and to local restaurants like Hard Rock without any issues during the day. The hotel room was a bit musty smelling but I think it just needs an update and the carpet needs to be replaced with hardwood of some kind to help with smell. The beds were comfortable and it was helpful to have a sitting area since we were there for 5 days. We enjoyed our stay overall and would go back.

Communication. No one told me I had to pay for parking. It was not on the website and the nice guy who checked me in never said anything about it coming out of my deposit. So I emailed the manager and nothing. I will not go back here.

The front desk staff was helpful and professional. The breakfast was not good but The housekeeping staff was my only real problem during my stay. My boyfriend and I had just settled in to relax around 4:30pm on our first day there. Well housekeeping used their master key and walked into my room while we were unclothed on our bed. I confronted her and she said she didn’t speak English and apologized. At breakfast on Saturday morning, the housekeeper swept my foot and I was wearing sandals, with the broom while I was making my plate. Just unacceptable.

Central downtown location. Beds were hard. I sleep easy, but I literally slept on top of 4 pillows to sleep. Water was sometimes very low pressure. Worse, while taking a low pressure shower the water just stopped! I have stayed at 30+ Hyatt places across the USA. This one was at the bottom I’m afraid. I give it a 7.7 on the booking rating. I would not stay there again.

This hotel is average. The room smells like there maybe a mold issue or some type of bad moisture in the air. The bathroom is too small. The parking is $35 per night and there is barely enough parking and the parking stalls are not made for big trucks. The access box to get to the basement to park want working and I would have to wait about 5 minutes before someone open the gate. I did not eat any of the breakfast so I cant comment on that. Staff was ok not the friendliest.

I booked a king bed in advance, but I was told at check-in that none were available. The air conditioner in the room worked fine, but it ran so loudly when it turned on that it woke me up throughout the night. The only other frustration was the tiny self-parking lot which was difficult to get in and out of based on lack of space to maneuver the vehicle. It was a good enough location at a decent price for event spaces like Mercedes Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena.

The staff was very nice and the lobby was very clean. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel is located in an area that has lots of options for food by foot and the Marta stations are located near by if you wanted easy transportation to other places.

Check in was quick and easy. The entrance is very secure but doesn't look like a main entrance, which was initially a little confusing. Our room is huge with a full section sized couch. The bathroom was tiny and the door to the bathroom didn't shut at all and the tub didn't really drain. Everything else was great and the location was perfect!

Our first time visiting Atlanta. We liked the hotel location and the room was spacious, clean and quiet. I don’t think we got any added value paying extra for a “high floor” room. This hotel only has ten floors. Compared to many other hotels in the area the upper floor “views” weren’t impressive. The water pressure in the shower was also minimal. We also liked the secured parking at only $35 per day instead of $50 as were many other hotels in the area.

I liked the room as it was a little different than typical rooms; however, my window faced a brick building (but at least I got a little sunlight). The parking situation was not the best. Other than those things, it was a good stay.

I wasnt trying to book this hotel, i was trying to get the hyatt hotel directly across from the aquarium and was certain thats what i picked but i guess not. Parking also sucks, 35 bucks a day even though im already paying for the room and its a 50/50 if you can get in the extremely small secure gated lot or if you have to park on the side of the neighboring building.

Staff was very friendly, and they really made you feel safe a lot of homeless people around but security was right on top of it, made you feel safe. Had a handicap room and it perfect. Definitely recommend.

Had a lovely long weekend stay at Hyatt Place Atlanta. Room was clean and comfortable and there was free breakfast in the lobby every morning. Staff were friendly and suggest we try the fried cheesecake at Max Lager's next door (which I highly recommend).

What a great place to stay! The rooms are excellently laid out and super comfortable. The hotel location is great, just steps away from MARTA (public transit) and downtown. The food at the market was fresh and tasty and the breakfast wasn't the usual high carb wrapped food, but fresh fruit, yogurt, etc.

Good protein options at breakfast. Rooms are a bit small compared to others I have been to but that is expected in the city. Restaurants and Convenient Stores are in walking distance from the hotel. Just wear comfortable shoes.

Awesome place to stay at

The hotel itself was fine however I was charged for $70 for parking and I didn’t bring a car to the hotel. I’ve spoken to the hotel about it ands they have yet to resolve this issue so I really wouldn’t stay there again because I don’t trust them with my credit card.

Great place to stay near the Mart with helpful staff, large room, great continental breakfast and bar/food.

Great location to everything

My daughter home from school so I booked us a girl weekend in Atlanta. I found this place online and was impressed. Lobby is nice and welcoming. Friendly staff. We arrived, checked in and went to our floor (5th). The carpet is OLD and the smell of weed gave my daughter an instant headache. THE strong smell of marijuana and cigerets was disgusting. NO ice machine or directions on which floor, no signs of things as a directory. Lobby was fine and breakfast was good.

Lack of plenty parking was a problem if you came in late. The morning buffet was a problem. Cooked food was very greasy and the bread and bagels were stale. When we left, we ate at restaurant on our way home. But I would still recommend your hotel.

Convenient, safe, comfortable, my kids liked our stay

The stay was fine, we just wasn't to happy with the room. The toilet and shower were in a very small area. It was more like a closet than a bathroom. For the most part the room was clean, except for the areas beside the bed. They had a dust build up on them.

PROs: Great service by staff and good breakfast choices. I appreciated hotel being centrally located to walking sites and restaurants. CONs: Hotel carpets need updating-halls and rooms didn't smell fresh and sofa pullout and bed-frame bases appeared worn and unclean.

Tiny bathroom. No female hygiene disposal inside the bathroom. Sink was located outside the bathroom. Look and feel of the interior were outdated. Staff was inexperienced, might need some extra training in taking care of guests.

Great stay. Very quiet in the rooms, never heard my neighbors and outside noise was minimal. Walking distance to the aquarium and plenty of restaurants. I was a little worried about parking but had no issues. Area felt safe during the day, lots of people walking around.

This was our 2nd time staying here and it was great like last time. Expedia did over book the 2 Bed Rooms but the hotel accommodated our needs and found a solution. Would stay here again.

Girl was outdated. The suite was nice. Visiting for my son’s HS graduation trip. For a family of four bathroom really small. Parking was unacceptable only one way end and out due to one way blocked off. It made it very difficult to get out parking lot one way

I like how every time I left and came back, they said "Welcome home" or "Have a nice day." They always made sure my party and I were enjoying our stay, which was nice.

Perfect for what we needed... walking distance to Fox Theater, easy parking, breakfast, friendly staff, clean room, felt safe. Would definitely stay again.

Pretty good overall!

The hotel was clean. The rooms did have an old smell to them but nothing terrible. The parking behind a high security fence was nice but made us question the safety of the area. There was a very nice restaurant right next door.

We were looking for something simple, safe and reliable. My wife had surgery and we needed a wheelchair, the hotel was able to provide one for her and accommodated us. The breakfast was good as well.

Easily the best hotel in terms of walkability to the convention center and back. And lots of food options in the area. Had an amazing time with my partners this year! Will definitely be coming back!

Stayed for the Kendrick and SZA concert. It was plenty of room space and close to the Mercedes stadium.
