Hyatt Place Denver Airport

The rooms were below average, stains on furniture, floors were so dirty we did not feel comfortable taking off our socks. No room service and when we asked about it they said they went home early…reception was too busy watching the basketball game to really engage in guests. Way too expensive for a below average room.

I had a wonderful stay at this Hyatt property. The hotel was exceptionally clean, quiet, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. What stood out the most was the staff—they truly went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and made me feel welcomed throughout my stay. Their outstanding customer service made all the difference. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Parking lot had security at night and it was located but a lot of restaurants. The bathroom was awkward to get into because the door swung right up next to the toilet and shower.

Good breakfast, good location for the airport Pool heater was broken, you have to pay for overnight parking $12. Hidden fee, and puts me off staying again.

The rooms were spacious and quiet. There was minimal light coming in through the windows and door at night. The bed was very comfortable. I was disappointed that the on-line information said there was food service and a small bar - neither was true and I had to walk an elderly blind friend across the parking lot to a restaurant when I had expected to be able to have room service.

Also, it would’ve been better if I was notified ahead time of deposit charges for every night of my stay..

The room was very clean and the entrance was nice enough (funny how that matters). The guy who checked me in was very kind. I left too early to partake but the breakfast looked pretty good. To be brutally honest, maybe you should consider uniforms.. The men would make a much better impression in dress shirts with sleeves and some type of slacks. The air conditioner in the room made a rasping sound that kept me awake (until the Ambien). The coffee maker either didn't work or I needed instructions (like I needed that cup of coffee before heading out that evening). I missed the airport shuttle, totally my fault of course, but this is where companies either have staffs that think independently and problem solve (like having a taxi number on hand or be able to call an Uber on a guest's behalf that he/she can pay for when it arrives), and staff who do only the required. The airport shuttle never arrived to pick me up although I had given an arrival time on my reservation.. I probably waited an hour until another hotel shuttle gave me a ride to the hotel next door. I still to drag two heavy suitcases through the fast food parking lot to get to your hotel. Thank god the weather was good.

While facing the front entrance you will find a 7/11 directly to the right, a steakhouse and an Applebee's to the left and a variety of restaurants including an Outback across the street. We also appreciated the free airport transfer.

Airport shuttle. Breakfast. Good bed. Everything up to Hyatt standards except for noise. My room was next to the elevator, and the noise was so loud as to be totally unacceptable. It sounded like an electric pump or something that cycled every few minutes. I don't think it was the elevator movement that made the noise.

We stayed there for less than 24 hours and it did the job. My only complaint is that we were expected to pay for parking even though we were not using it as airport parking.

I was there for 2 nights and housekeeping never cleaned the room.

Top notch breakfast but it was a busy morning and they were running out of plates and silverware and the waffle maker broke down. Also the pool heater was broke, and there is no hot tub, so disappointing there. Workout room elliptical was glitching and they only had another bike, treadmill and some weights. The shuttle driver to and from the airport was excellent, and overall a great location and beautiful building and room.

Nice hotel, clean located next to great places to eat. Staff were friendly and helpful.. only negative the bar on the property did not open because they said they were out of liquor.

Stayed here specifically to make use of the airport shuttle which is advertised as 24 hours but really only runs from 4:30AM to 11:30PM. They gave me a validation code for $17 parking as a sort of consolation and told me I could use it on the way back. Code was accepted in app both times, but they gave me a parking ticket on our second stay. Front desk staff said they would take care of it and follow up, but never did. They couldn't be bothered. Parking lot is sketchy at best. Homeless people milling around at all hours. Building is not well maintained. Rooms are in need an overhaul. Would not stay here again for free.

Airport shuttle was a big help. Huge room. When I was having a problem with the tv remote, a hotel staff came in no time. There was no schedule for room cleaning but I was able to ask for towel and toilet paper from the cleaning staff on the corridor. When i returned in the evening, the bed was made. Room was clean to begin with. Breakfast was ok. Sausage was dry, the patties were better. Coffee and waffles were good, sometimes batter was empty. Overall happy with my stay.

No easy accessible power plugs, dirt chairs; gym pathetic; Room dirty; pillows small horrible; no hangars in closet, HVAC not working well, dated carpet and paint, construction 1st floor; nice staff. Hotel said no charge cancellation because I wasn’t happy.

Booking.com putting me in a hotel that was completely full! Lead me to become stranded there as I arrived on the last shuttle of the night from the airport.

Unfortunately, the condition of the room was unacceptable. The bathroom had visible mold or mildew on the walls, the shower had extremely low water pressure with only lukewarm water, and the toilet emitted a persistent sewer odor. Additionally, the electrical outlets were unreliable and would repeatedly turn on and off. Other aspects of the stay were equally disappointing. The bar was not stocked, and the amenities advertised on the website were misleading. Parking was not complimentary, which was also not clearly communicated. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and we will not be returning to this hotel

The hotel was very clean and nice staff. Room was comfortable. They do not advertise that you have to pay parking separately. I was told that the parking was $13 per night, but got charged $38 dollars for two nights. $25 for the first night and $13 the second night. They need to be transparent with all charges up front.

I was in the 3rd floor and couldn’t hear anyone above or below me, or even next to me! The staff were so nice, the breakfast had a lot of choices, room was spacious and the bed was comfortable! 10/10 would stay here again!

The shuttle was great! The rooms were larger than expected and the hotel was clean. All for a great rate!

2) water was shut off with warning the 1st day. 3) mattress was so hard it was like sleeping on a board. 4) bathroom so small you had stand against the wall by the toilet to open the door. 5) the toilet ran all night until "I" fixed it, (temp). 6) housekeeping didn't restock tissue, or clean asked in Spanish, I only speak English. 7) TV and cable stopped working, front desk told me how to fix it. I'm not maintenance. 8) had to hold the electric plug in the wall to run microwave. 9) business center computer has internet explorer and still don't work. told need a part.

Also, there was a bowl full of deeply brown bananas on the counter; and soupy oatmeal for breakfast. I ate food I brought. Coffee was great, though. Also, the front desk was super helpful and friendly. The condition of my room was excellent.

Had a quick overnight stay. There was a hair in the shower. Also did not appreciate having to scan a QR code in order to park in the parking lot. It should have been done through the hotel itself rather then giving my credit card info to a third party.

Rooms was fine, but I was downgraded because the room type I booked was not available. I also stood at the airport in the wind and cold waiting for the hotel shuttle for over 30 minutes which never came and had to take a $40 uber to get to the hotel. If you are expecting to catch the shuttle to the hotel you will need to call them to request a pick-up (which is not clearly displayed on their website or booking details on expedia, nor the understanding of the folks at the airport in the hotel shuttle area). Would have been fine and went without comment except the hotel staff could have cared less...

Although a bit farther from the airport than Tower Road hotels, this property is extra nice. Large room with sitting area, mini fridge and microwave, comfortable bed, quiet. Feels like an upgrade from many hotels in the price range.

The stay was okay. the only reason we stayed here was because we had a delayed flight over night and was super close to the airport. A positive thing about this hotel was they offer a free shuttle from and to the airport and runs every 45 min to be fair for everyone who has a flight. the staff were nice, i wish they explained the shuttle a little more to people who have never experienced a free shuttle ride. The things that weren’t so great during the stay was the shower turning off after it being on for 3 minutes. as well as the room kind of smelt like gas or something electrical was on and running for hours. wasn’t completely sure where it even came from and already had a stressful night and just wanted to sleep. the breakfast was okay can’t complain about something that was free. i really liked how they also had a tea/ coffee bar. overall it was a good place to stay if you have a delayed flight, but would not continue to stay if i went to visit.

Our stay was excellent. I took my grandkids it was their first time in Colorado. They enjoyed the mountains. The staff was very helpful in giving me some places to visit.

The room is clean and reasonably sized. However, the management needs to pay more attention to details. For instance, there’s no decaf coffee option in the lobby, and the coffee and hot water run out in the middle of the day without any refill. Additionally, the elevator’s weather forecast hasn’t been updated for a week. Overall, the experience is mediocre. The staff was friendly, but there are many small details that could be improved.

Terrible, we didn’t even get to stay. Lobby doors were locked and no one was at the front desk for us to check in or provide any assistance.

The staff was the highlight of the stay; they were super friendly and attentive. The breakfast was good (better on the weekend than the weekday). The pool was the cleanest one we have seen on our travels. The airport shuttle was convenient and easy to request.

Based on the chain I was expecting more. Upon check-in there was tension between the two men working behind the counter. The person who helped us was mad, told us there would be additional charges in addition to the parking charge. Rooms and hallways were a bit shabby and carried a smell. Bathroom was tiny. Breakfast had few selections. HOWEVER, the African-American lady at the desk in the morning was very friendly, efficient, and helped organize and wipe down tables and eating area. She was great, but we won't stay there again.

I clicked on 1 night parking and was charged for 2. The room layout with the shower/toilet is not ideal at all but I just forgot that about this brand when I booked it. When we requested pillows for the pullout (we needed 2 for the 2 kids sleeping in it) we were told they only had 1 extra. Which seemed odd since we just came from a room and the place overall felt very unoccupied. We definitely would not stay here again but you get what you pay for.

Choice of Hyatt was a matter of convenience, previous good experiences with different Hyatt facilities, which unfortunately didn’t apply to this one in Aurora. The room was clean and well furnished and bed was comfortable but service were very poor.

If you’re looking for a hotel close to the airport, I would recommend this one. We chose it for the free transport to airport, and the driver was on time and efficient. Two places to eat nearby was also a plus.

The room was not cleaned. I let front desk know and asked for a manager. The Manager was sick. I spoke to the Manager the next day and told her the specifics of how dirty it was. She said Hotels.com has my money and she could not credit me and to contact hotels.com for a refund. I was there for a work conference had a layover and was running late to conference so had zero time to switch rooms as I had to change quick and go to conference. I would not recommend this location. The staff was cordial in a distant way, the bathroom was so small I had to shimmy to get the door closed, while 2 of us were showering (separately) we both had multiple times with almost zero water pressure and there was never great water pressure, the breakfast was advertised as having breakfast tacos but were not offered. I do not feel the value matches the price.

On my recent stay at Hyatt Place, Denver International Airport, I was assigned the room next to the elevator. If you need sleep be very cautious about where (Expedia) & how you book hotels. This room was in need of repairs and cleaning and the elevator runs often until 1:00am! Also, Expedia did not disclose the parking fee. Be aware they will charge you for parking.

There was not good communication ahead to let us know which shuttle to get on as there were three hyatts near the airport. We ended up 1 hour later back at the airport to try to find the correct shuttle even though I told the driver where I was going. Also, there was a loud noise that kept coming on all night long both nights every minute or so. The breakfast food was pretty gross. I've never been to a place that had such a bad setup for food.

Generally a good experience at the hotel. I considered the breakfast presentation to be a bit limited by inadequate Staffing to keep Food Supplies stocked and cleaned up. The seating for breakfast was also Limited.

We stayed here because they have a shuttle to the airport. Our driver was extremely nice.

It was old and beds were not comfortable

When I gave them my confirmation number from Hotels.com I was told there are no rooms, they are sold out. I had literally booked the room only a few hours earlier. The guest after me was told the same thing. I had to incur two Uber charges to get to the hotel and then leave the hotel for a room that you said I had, that was not there because there were not rooms. I would like my Uber charges to be refunded and I certainly better not be charged for a hotel room I never stayed in!

Shuttle to the airport is super convenient!!

Be careful about the shuttle bus. There are 2 Hyatts with slightly different names near the airport. It’s very easy to get on the wrong one.

Customer service was horrible. They were rude and there was like 10 of us in there. They were to all of us air conditioners did not work.

There was no room available.

I made reservation on 06.08.25 for stay on 06.28.25. I verified that we would be a late arrival. We arrived at hotel at 10 pm and were at first told we did not have a reservation, I showed the clerk my reservation with confirmation number, he then found my reservation and told me they were sold out and there was nothing he could do but refund. We had just flown in from out of state with family and it is an understatement to say that I was very frustrated. The clerk gave me business card of his manager and told me to call him Monday to voice concerns and make sure refund went through. Luckily I was able to find a room at another property.

Staff was nice transportation to the airport was excellent, but to be pick up from airport to Hotel didn't work for me I call the hotel to let them know I was ready to be pick up and the staff told me to wait she will call me back and let me know what time they will come over for us and never received a phone call waited for 40 minutes and decided we had to get an Ubber.

I won't stay there again, there are better options around this hotel, it is old, my room smelled like poop, you need to pay for parking and also there is not a laundry room in the hotel. The pool is not inside the hotel. Breakfast area is small and not many options for breakfast, also the tables are all over the lobby.

Shuttle service

Check in was smooth and the front desk staff was friendly. When we went to our room, the bed was messed up like someone had been sleeping in it. There was poop in the toilet. We went back to the front desk and they switched us to a different room. Our new room was mostly clean. It looked like there were stains on the couch. Breakfast was good.

Friendly, professional staff & quiet location next to a lot of food options. Linens were dirty & nobody came to empty garbages or offer coffee pack refills in 2 days.

Wonderful place and staff

Hotel was nice, check in staff were friendly, room had plenty of space for 5 people. Bathroom is small, but it worked fine. I wasn't aware we had to pay for parking until I checked in. I'm not sure if that had to do with me booking with a booking website.

Conveniently located and worth the price for an overnight layover. Amenities are barely decent, although the airport shuttle service is a plus. Overall, the standards are not quite what one expects from a reputable hotel chain like Hyatt.

Unsettling

Check in great. Room had a smell, toilet gurgled at random times all times of the day and night. Apparently front desk is responsible for keeping the coffee pot stocked for morning breakfast, and they need help doing that. The person I asked about it was very put out, guess it’s a tough job.

Very comfortable with good coffee & breakfast. Shuttle service to & from the airport. Bus service to local light rail in front of hotel. Airport light rail station nearby (20 min walk) will take you downtown to Union station. Would stay there again.

My room was right next to the elevator and the first night lots of kids there, very noisy and disruptive.

We arrived to check in and they over sold the property hotel and no room available to check in. They left us stranded without a room or any accommodation To help us. Terrible service. We had paid the hotel room in advance. All they told us sorry.

Employees were super helpful and friendly, Internet was excellent, bed was ok, didn't have a desk with a chair that would be comfortable to work or eat at.

Our stay as family was so great. The children loved the pool. The rooms are really nice and the location is so convenient!

Check in staff was rude and not helpful. Mattress was so worn the head was downhill so had to sleep with my head at the feet. Pillows were ridiculous. They were small and lumpy so I had to get several and stack them up. Slept 2 hours. Bathroom door barely cleared the toilet and standing room only in the shower, toilet room so could not shower and dress in there. Since I was with my minor son that was a problem. The lounge and eatery had a different menu than was on the card in the room. It was microwaved junk food, most of which was delivered in plastic go boxes! Would not return to this property.

All good, hotel has the basic needs for travelling.

This property was located in close proximity to the airport, but there weren’t any sounds that disturbed our stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even offering suggestions for dining or other needs we had in the area. Everything was very clean and our stay was pleasant. We also enjoyed the complementary breakfast with various hot foods.

Staff was great! Location was great, a lot of places to eat and everything is close by. We attended a Rockies game and went to the Denver Zoo.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was great with a lot of options. Kids enjoyed the pool area. I would definitely stay again!

Got in very late. Shuttle crew and front desk were excellent. Room was clean and quiet.

The location was calm and peaceful. Plenty of restaurants near by within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was great. They had a hot section and offered eggs, sausage links and potatoes and the other day they offered biscuits and gravy. The also have an oatmeal bar and section to make your own yogurt parfait. They have cereal options as well as all kinds of milks. They have a cute waffle section too. The bedroom was roomie and offered all the amenities we would need. There is plenty of parking on the premises, I just didn’t like the daily park rate…. It still…

Room was poorly cleaned

This used to be our favorite place to stay in Denver. It has been about 8 years since our last stay. It has gone downhill since then. I don't know if the issue is just this particular hotel or if it is representative of most Hyatt hotels now. We used to just stay at Hyatts until we got a dog. Hyatts don't accept dogs; Hiltons do. This time we weren't traveling with the dog so Hyatt was our choice. Our room smelled terrible. We needed the restroom right away, so didn't ask for another room. Most hotels we stay at offer free bottles of water, not this Hyatt. They had bottled water in the room but they wanted $8 for them. Parking is now an extra charge. Payment is by scanning a QR code and paying by phone. They assume everyone has the technology and ability to do that. The "hospitality" industry is no longer hospitable. We had a disability-accessible room. In the past these rooms included a small kitchen table. This room had no table, no desk, no chairs. There were empty spaces where furniture should have been. The carpet was torn and frayed. The sink stopper in the bathroom was jammed in sideways, no way to close or open it. The bathroom floor had loose tile. The shower connection at the wall sprayed water back through the wall and onto the ceiling. There has to be mold in that wall. The breakfast used to be one of the best parts of our stay. The omelets here had processed cheese in them, the apple juice was rancid. Should be named Super 8 2.0. [Out of room]. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

The experience was very good except for the shuttle service Unfortunately, since there are multiple Hyatt Place located near DIA. I was directed to a location different from my reservation. Each location should be identified as to the city and street address in order to avoid confusion. In addition, the reservation representative of Hyatt should verify shuttle reservation to and from the hotel and where to wait at DIA
