Stay here frequently when visiting town to see shows. Always a good experience.

We enjoyed the family suite which was quite a treat… Bunkbeds and Video console kept the kids very happy when we were in the room, which wasn’t much… We enjoyed the local area and would definitely be back for another stay!

The beds were comfortable and we didn’t hear a lot of noise in the hotel itself or from the busy traffic outside.

Our stay was wonderful from the time we checked in, until the time we checked! You can literally walk to the Metra station. Great stay, great staff!

I have visited this location twice and found it to be an exceptional place to stay. The accommodations are immaculate, up-to-date, and offer a serene and comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast is also exceptional. I plan to return soon.

I’ve stayed at this property multiple times in the past 2 years when work brings me to the area. The facility is clean, the employees always polite, welcoming and helpful. Parking area is safe & well lit. The area around the hotel is quaint and full of eateries and a few saloons to relax within. The river quietly moving nearby is tranquil and lovely.

The handicapped bathroom had no shelves to put your stuff on. The position of the shampoo and conditioner was right behind your head in the shower. Very inconvenient if you have trouble moving around. The bed was very hard and the side tables were a little far away. The light switch was too far up from the bed to reach ?.

I liked everything. People at front desk are perfect. Good area; near Pub and different restaurants. If you like fast food, you can get White Castle in 5 minutes.

I loved staying here- clean facility and friendliest staff. Especially front desk. Male Hispanic was outstanding. Very courteous and professional. The only reason why I didnt give 5 stars is for the gym facility. It had a very strange odor and the tvs and a/c in there didn't work. Otherwise great hot tub and comfy rooms.

Had a pleasant experience at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Aurora-Naperville. I was traveling with my 91 year old Mother who rides in a wheelchair for distances. Parking was very accessible for us. We first requested a room on the first floor as I had told the Clerk my Mother was in a wheelchair. He did ask if we wanted a handicapped accessible room. I told him that we did not need one. But when we entered the room we found that it was entirely too small for her wheelchair. I couldn't get her wheelchair even into the room where the beds are. So we went out to Clerk and then requested the handicapped room, which was on the 2nd floor. There was plenty of space in the bathroom for Mom and her wheelchair. The problem was that the wheelchair did not fit past the first bed. Breakfast was good and hot with lots of choices. Checkout experience was uneventful.

Staff was amazing, felt like family. The hotel is older but very clean, close to downtown Aurora with ample parking. Came and went at all hours of the day and night and was always greeted by the member on staff.

I was booked at the Holiday Inn but I was unaware of it due to not receiving a confirmation email. The front desk representative at the Hampton was very helpful and very patience with me as I tried to book a room in an desperate need because I was short of funds and no transportation.

The little things matter. Like that they have a little place for snacks and such. Halls are clean and well lit. Rooms have the nice touches like a nightlight in the bathroom and lighting around the mirror. Plenty of counter space in bathroom. Full length mirror plus another one near desk area. Coffee in room is a Keurig. Shower has extra shelves for your shower things. Beds have four pillows for the queen size. These are all things that make the stay comfortable and more pleasant at a good price point.

Location was great. We went to Hollywood Casino, the Theater (saw Dear Evan Hanson) and the Historic Round House Restaurant. They were all within a short walk from this hotel. Very close to the train tracks and that was a little loud at times. Not overwhelming but could be heard.

I was welcomed by Kelli upon my arrival. She is wonderful! Very personable. Kelli thanked me for choosing their hotel. I was in town for a book signing. Kelli made sure i had the correct directions. When i returned, she asked how the signing went and paid attention to me. I watched her call other guests by their names. Kelli makes a difference in peoples lives. I can't say enough good things about her. Will definitely stay here again

The breakfast was fantastic. Parking was well lit and felt safe. The only thing we would change is acess to the swimming pool. This is the first hotel i have ever stayed at that the pool closed before 10pm. Our girls were quite disappointed.

The staff was so helpful and kind, from the minute I walked up to the locked door very late with my hands full, to my departure days-later with my hands even more full. The lobby is inviting with plenty of room to chill out, and offers a nice selection of snacks and ice cream. The hallways & elevator smell wonderful. Not artificially cosmetic, but truly clean. I loved coming back every day to the comforting smell. My room was also clean and comfortable, including the bed/linens/pillows. The shower was hot with a quality head. The room-temp settings were accurate & quick (if you travel a lot you know how nice that is!) and the system wasn't noisy. The in-room Keurig treated me to pleasant fresh coffee, but the lobby also has a wonderful 24/7 coffee setup. Breakfast is hot and nice; not scrappy like so many hotels these days. Pool and hot tub are great. My only complaint might be the walls. If you get a screaming baby or sexy banshee next door, you'll hear. Sincerely, it was an awesome & safe stay. One tip I'd offer other guests: Avoid eating at the big brewhouse next door. It may look fun on the outside but the food/service is mediocre at best and the place is greasy and dirty, with uncomfortable, cold, noisy seating. Holiday Inn's staff is happy to recommend other great restaurants nearby so I wish I'd asked them on day-one before I spent my birthday here. The prime rib was very good though.

Check in was painless and staff are very nice. The carpet in the room needed to be vacuumed: I found hair, food, and who knows what else. This is despite the fact that the carpet is new, and that led to another issue: it was still off-gassing chemicals and I continued to smell it throughout the night and even felt my eyes watering. (I didn't have time due to work to deal with trying to switch rooms.) The windows don't open, so I also couldn't bring in fresh air. On the plus side, the shower is excellent and the breakfast is very good for this level of hotel, though the scrambled eggs were not hot.

Best shower ive ever had at a hotel.

There was a gentleman working the lobby and the breakfast on the early morning of December 12/15. He took extra care to help me check out and get some food and on my way. He was very kind. It turned a very cold dark morning into the brightest part my day.

I was traveling from out of state. The staff welcoming me, checking in during my stay and sending me off checking out... was so nice. Everyone was great. The room was very clean (im a clean freak lol), and the room was quiet, and didnt smell musty when the air came on. Breakfast was super fresh, and the variety was great. The hotel was located next to a cute downtown area as well, and there is a nice restaurant across the parking lot with great food. I reccomend staying here.

If you're considering this facility, DO NOT WAIT! The staff is second to none! The facilities are amazing! I travelled with my mom and my small sons. We had a room with bunk beds, a pull-out couch, two TVs, and a PlayStation! The hotel had EV charging! An indoor swimming pool and spa, and a 24-hour workout room! Everything you need when traveling is available at this facility!

We booked this room since access yo the Aurora Metra was so convenient. Everything was wonderful including breakfast. The desk help were all nice and helpful.

The property lost power when we stayed (which I’m told wasn’t their fault- but I don’t understand how there is no back up generator) I was told considering it wasn’t their fault, there is nothing they could do to reimburse me. So I paid for a cool, quiet, comfortable place to stay. What we got was a maintenance man yelling for tools in the hallway early in the am, hot room due to the air not working, the doors slamming and not operating (which I’m not sure why a sign couldn’t have been put on the door to not use) & no way to turn on tv or charge the phone. Very disappointed in this hotel as matters could have been made to make it comfortable even with the power outage. Maybe telling staff not to yell down the hall (inside or low voice at least out of respect)so we could at least try to sleep?!- Hope the maintenance man got his Alan wrench he was yelling for. Putting notes on the doors to let people know it wasn’t working so it didn’t have a loud thud?! Just some ideas…

I like the room, the bed size, and the cleanliness

We arrived two hours early and they were able to put us in a room, which we were very thankful for. Breakfast was fine, the coffee in the lobby was excellent! They did have a Keurig in the room, which is a lot better than a lot of hotel room coffee makers. All of the employees were very friendly. We will probably stay again when we go back.

This is our go to place if our favorite Air Bnbs are booked. The rooms are clean and spacious. Easy to get to the Paramount and we love eating at Two Brothers.

Perfect cozy hotel when visiting Aurora or Batavia.

While trying to eat breakfast and whatching the news at the breakfast loction all we could hear was Gerardo a front desk employee speaking with the help in the breakfast area in a primitive language commonly used by illegal aliens while Gerardo was coloring with a crayon on a childs paper place mat. We stood up while contemplating to call ICE and walked across the street to a restaurant.

It was a nice hotel. The room was clean. The fridge had working freezer. The person checking us in was very nice. They allowed us to park our car until the following evening, during our day trip. The pool closed at 9, and even though we arrived at 8:45, the manager let us swim for a little while past 9. There were a lot of food options nearby. The breakfast was pretty good It was a great overall experience. We will stay here again if we travel to Brookfield Zoo

Everything was great until we went to have breakfast. My son and I were at the pancake machine and one of the staff members came and take our plate with 1 pancake on it while another one was coming out and just told us “no” and threw them away. It was well before breakfast ended and several other guests were also there getting food. She didn’t feel the need to explain herself except for just saying “no” repeatedly.

This was just a one night stay to break up my journey from St Louis up to Elkart Lake. No issues with the hotel at all. It was very clean, comfortable and very spacious. Bathroom was large and shower nice and powerful. I would recommend this hotel if staying in Aurora.

Tvs need to be updated you can't screen cast so your stick watching whatever is on, the mini fridge takes forever to get things cold, this was a last minute decision I ended up getting this hotel around 6am but after I paid and fully booked when I arrived 30 minutes later I had to wait 4 hours to check in it's ridiculous that even if you get a room in the morning you have to wait the earliest 11am to 4pm to sleep relax or be in a room you paid for and for it to be non refundable horrible experience

I was born in this town, but the older location of the same hotel is not in a part of town. I would feel safe. This location is perfect next to the round house and the restaurant that Walter Payton built. It has easy access to the train and those of us who travel and yes, I do found this great! It’s good now to come home And to be in a safe comfy place where I can be close to my family and have access to all of my familiar places.

Cleanliness, friendly people and location

We like this hotel and have stayed here several time. This time they put us in the room across the hallway from the laundry room. I have a toddler and the machines were so loud. Also the room next to us, we could hear everything, it was hard to fall asleep, every laugh, every slight raise of voice, everytime the door opened or closed and those guests were up so late. How can the walls be so thin???
