The thing that caused me to rate the stay as 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is that after I ate a few things from what was left of the breakfast they gave out was that is saw a dead "pest" mixed in with the mini-muffins. I informed the staff doing clean up (because it was around 9:30 and they end breakfast at that time at that property) and their reaction was an unconcerned sounding, "wow." The sad thing is that I hadn't noticed the dead pest until I had already had a few pieces of toast. With me not taking a picture it's just my word, but hopefully no one gets sick from that or something else dealing with uncleanliness. That or more that might've seen something similar voice the issue with proof so that the property can work on addressing the issue.

Nothing Everything was bad experience, the hotel staff was rude and the room was very dirty smelled like urine. There were stains on the walls, curtains, floor and bed. It was poor condition and the hotel itself smelled very bad and moldy. I told the hotel staff and they told me the building is old, I ended up me and my family went to another hotel to stay because my daughter had graduation and the room was not appropriate for her to get dressed. I recommend no one stay here.

DEMAND A REFUND, WE DID NOT STAY THERE!!! The hotel was closed. Homeless people were roaming the lot and appeared to occupy the building. Broken down cars were in the lot and one was in front of the door. The A/C units werre missing in most of the rooms and plywood covered the hole.

Elevators were broken. Sheets were thrown in the middle of the hallway for a whole day. Breakfast was horrendous and check out was the worst. Had to wait for 30 minutes because there was only 1 person at the front desk while it looked like upper management was just sitting in the Breakfast area on their phone.

The room number we stayed was 110. I would like to have my refund. I would not have reserved it and stayed here if I had known it earlier. I had been to Austin with my family for graduation ceremony of my daughter. Her younger sister stayed with her, but there was no options for me, my wife, and my mom than to spend two nights in such a horrible environment.

The staff was nice and none of this was her fault. I picked this hotel because it was close to our event and said it had a pool and hot tub. I wanted both in case the pool was cold. It had them but they were dry. Nothing about that on the site, when booking. One elevator was out and the second barely worked. It kept getting stuck. The carpet on our floor was so stained and ripped it was gross. Ice maker on our floor didn’t work either. Breakfast and coffee was terrible too. The place was a dump.
- 1/5
Disappointing stay – Poor maintenance and terrible breakfastI would strongly advise against staying here. Do not let the photos deceive you; the reality is a far cry from what is advertised. The room was in a state of total disrepair: the lights didn’t work, the electrical outlets were loose, and one was completely non-functional. Additionally, the bathroom sink was badly clogged. To make matters worse, the breakfast was unacceptable. There were no basic food options available—only cold boiled eggs. For the price paid, the lack of basic amenities and edible food is inexcusable. I would never recommend this property to anyone.

Need to replace carpets and furniture. Looks worn.
- 1/5
The entire place is in horrible shape. Peeling walls, worn-out furniture, and everything looked dirty, old, and neglected. The “view” from our room was a junkyard collection of broken-down A/C units and lawnmowers scattered outside like some kind of maintenance graveyard. Nothing says “vacation” like staring at rusty equipment all day. The pool also desperately needs work. It looked poorly maintained and completely took away from whatever little appeal this place might’ve once had. I’ve seen cleaner gas station bathrooms and better views behind warehouses. Whoever owns this place should be embarrassed to call it a hotel. Save yourself the regret, the disappointment, and probably a tetanus shot — stay literally anywhere else.

Everything and this was the worst LaQuinta I have ever had a problem with. If I could get a refund I would like it. The stay was horrible!! Plus it was illegal activity going on there and we checked out and went somewhere else. I won’t say all LaQuinta’s
- 4/5
Stayed at la Quinta this property is central to most things I needed. Price was affordable. Walmart is close if your traveling with a family restaurants arent to far away either. The property needs a deep clean visibly dirty curtains you can see from outside of the building. Carpets could use a steam cleaning and floor two smells like it was flooded previously. The staff are friendly never walked inside without a greeting and never came back without a greeting. We didnt come down for breakfast so cant speak to that also did not use pool or hot tub. Beds are comfortable AC pumps great.Parking is free watch out for raccoons. If property had a deep cleaning we would definitely stay again.
- 1/5
Check-in took far too long because I had to get three different rooms. The door was ajar to the first room and it was not cleaned and the bed wasn’t made, as if someone was still staying there. The second room’s AC was broken. The third was fine but the condition of the hotel made for an uncomfortable stay. I do not recommend unless this is your only option.

Bed bugs, dirty bed linen son woke up with a rash on neck and back The whole experience. Wife was in hospital we had to stay in that hotel

Simple easy breakfast, older hotel but very comfortable and quiet It’s an older hotel, but I didn’t mind it. Staff was polite and helpful and centrally located and the price was right.

It has beds to sleep in Area. Room was not clean. Front desk staff unprofessional and not courteous. They ran out of breakfast by 7:45. Bathroom sink was stopped up. Hair all over room. Location-noisy, lots of homeless people walking around. Didn’t feel safe.
- 4/5
I selected this
- 3/5
Windows rattled, had to put a cushion and chair to prop it up.
- 1/5
Oh man this place is a dump. Stains, inadequate lighting, exterior windows that don't lock, tv didn't work. Furniture is disrepair. Saving grace is that the sheets are clean and bathroom is clean. The staff is overworked.
- 2/5
Con's: 1. The hallway carpet outside rooms was stained and dirty. Looked like it had not been steam cleaned in years. Our room carpet was stained and dirty also. I did not feel comfortable walking on it without shoes to protect my feet. 2. Base of the furniture enclosure around the mini-fridge was scratched & chipped- needed to be sanded and stained. 3. Walls in the hallway and room were stained and needed to be painted. 4. The curtain banister had a huge dark stain (I have no idea how something splashed 6 feet above the floor!) 5. Breakfast was horrible - NO HOT FOOD like scrambled eggs, grits, hashbrowns, beacon, sausage. No Danish pastry, donuts or bagels. Instead, it only consisted of boiled eggs, bowl of apples & oranges, milk, juice (tasted like Tang powder drink mix), bags of instant oatmeal, cereal (in two dispensers), pancake/waffle mix in a water pitcher covered by cellophane wrap, a waffle skillet, slices of bread arranged on an open platter, pop-up toaster, jelly in a squeeze bottle (top popped off when I tried to use it), thin flimsy paper plates that drop anything placed on it. No staff available to keep the area clean and supplies replenished - Front Desk Manager ran over there upon demand. 6. Pool & Fitness Room were unavailable due to repairs
- 1/5
Deberían de limpiar mejor las habitaciones y el desayuno es un total engaño, solo huevo duro y manzana y naranja nomás…
- 0.5/5
Close to 35. Pool wasn’t operational, waited on waffle mix for breakfast that never came and had to leave with cold to go options. No sausage, bacon, or any other hot food choices. My a/c unit made loud noise the entire night. Very rough stay.

This place is nasty.
- 2/5
The property is dated and in need of renovation. The staff greeted me cooly and the breakfast was sparse and poorly organized. I liked the internet, up front free parking and there location on the highway. However, don't ever pay more than $70-75 for this gray-brown, sad, forgettable hotel.
- 2/5
The stay was OK for the price. The breakfast selection was very limited.
- 2/5
The carpet was dirty,I walked in and out quickly. Feel free to see it your self, go see room 104 for your self. You will pat me on the back and thank me later.
- 1/5
The hotel was so rundown outside and in that I’m surprised La Quinta had not taken their flag. Clearly, the pictures on the Internet were of some other hotel because it looked very nice online and as soon as I pulled up, it was just a complete dump The only reason I stayed there is because I got in late and I didn’t have time to mess with that. Otherwise I would have complained and changed hotels. Do not stay at this hotel ever it is so bad, so dirty and falling apart. I don’t know how this hotel is even open, I guess from lying on the Internet about how nice it is. I couldn’t even sleep well because the hotel was so dirty and not kept and I also thought that my car was going to get broken into. The hotel was so dirty, I don’t even know where to start just everywhere everything. I slept with all my clothes on because I didn’t even know if the sheets were really clean or not.
- 2/5
Below average
- 5/5
Everything was clean and my stay was great.
- 1/5
Breakfast ran out every morning 10 minutes after it started and the staff refused to refill anything. The property is in a state of utter disrepair—which they claim is renovation but there is zero evidence of said renovation. Pool drained, looks like a rotten pit. The carpet in my room was wet for some reason and remained so most of the trip. They let unhoused people come in and eat breakfast and sit on the floor in the lobby. At night, a dude with a knife circled the parking lot on a bike. The staff laughed at me and made fun of me and rolled their eyes and got mad at me when I complained. I wasn’t the only one who complained. It seemed no one was happy to be staying at this hotel.
- 3/5
The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. The room felt musty and smelled like urine. Not a great experience. Will not be returning, ever.
- 1/5
Would NOT recommend! Bed was clean, but room was NASTY!! Front staff acted like we interrupted her cell phone conversation when checking in & the front lobby smelled of marijuana. Bathroom light didn’t work, shower didn’t work, air conditioner made noises all night & the walls were NASTY!! Forfeited our 2nd night & left!
- 1/5
Let me give some context before I begin. I picked this place because I was only staying for SXSW a few days. It had a free breakfast and fitness center, perfect! Upon arrival, the place looks like an abandoned building. The staff, not polite, no welcome they just looked like they didnt want to be there. I paid extra to check into my room early because I had a long day traveling. When I walked into my room, I couldn't believe my eyes. Spots on the walls, carpet ripped, stained and beyond filthy. I checked my bed for bedbugs...all clear thank god! But I laid a towel on the floor because, I don't know whose been there. The next morning went to breakfast and they had eggs, some kind of hash browns, little sausages, cereal, pancake mix, bread, coffee. It was decent. That never happened again. The second morning where scrambled eggs should be normally, filled with hard-boiled eggs....and thats it. The 3rd morning....nothing and they didn't bother making more coffee until I asked. And the coffee came out disgusting.....how do you mess that up? Other people sitting in the dining room thanked me for saying something and were just as disappointed with everything in that place. Also, the gym was under maintenance which apparently the entire property was being updated. However, there was ZERO transparency upon checking in about it, no information about a sister property guests can walk to to workout. The rudeness level, INSANE! NOBODY WORKING THERE CARES! Wyndham you should be ashamed!
- 2/5
The kitchen was not fully cooking. There was a bug in room. The spider web was on the wall. The service was bad.
- 2/5
No breakfast by 7am the excuse was a crew of workers finished it sll
- 3/5
The floor smelled urine. The shower did not work well. Breakfast was not great.
- 2/5
Building is old and there is no upkeep. Beds are clean but rooms are not. No amenities. Maybe one of the worse breakfasts I have had in a while.
- 1/5
Mind you, we were in town for my son’s oncology appointment, so this was not a good environment for him. Additionally, the pool and hot tub were not working, which was disappointing because my kids had been looking forward to using them.
- 2/5
While checking in, a young lady approached the front desk. She was visibly upset about seeing her 2nd room dirty. She took pictures. I encountered the same problem with my room. The associate was very apologetic. It wasn't her fault she was given the wrong information. My only complaint was only receiving one room key when I needed two. I was also disappointed at seeing the fitness center "Closed for Maintenance ".
- 3/5
Breakfast was blah, there was no fresh anything! I can say the room was clean and the bed was comfy.

Upon arrival the establishment looks ran down and haunted. No lights and very unwelcoming. Very dark in the lobby and throughout the hotel. Upon entering the room I immediately knew I wouldn’t be staying here. The floors were filthy, walls were stained, beds with crumbs and stains. I went straight to the front desk and asked for a refund and drove 2 hours back home.
- 1/5
The person at the lobby was very nice and professional. However the room 104 had a very stained carpet and the top of the window sill also had stains. The room did not smell nice even though it was a non smoking room. This room was not worth what I paid. I have stayed in much better hotels like the Drury in for less. Very dissatisfied with this hotel.
- 1/5
The room had roaches. I couldn’t sleep bc I was afraid they would crawl on me. I didn’t eat breakfast as well. I told the front desk but all she said was she’ll let them know. I’d like a refund.

- 2/5
It looked unsafe outside and the building smelled bad. Only slept one night of two. We went to other hotel.
- 1/5
Rooms were unclean. Just 2 sets of towels, while we had booked for 3 occupants (toddler) in the room. Sheets were torn. breakfast was closed 30 mins prior to the scheduled time. would avoid this hotel in future trips.
- 5/5
I stay here every time I go to Austin for work. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Never have had any issues with the room.
- 2/5
I didn’t get my $50 deposit back after leaving the room in excellent condition. The phone number listed is disconnected and the parent company has no working phone or email contact for this location that is current.
- 2/5
Pictures are not real. This places is falling apart. I had to book last minute due to a family emergency and booked the hotel based on the pictures. The outside looks sketchy and like an abandoned building. Inside the carpet is completely stained, walls are super thin, I could hear everything happening outside the building and inside in the halls.

The worst experience ever. The host was so rude. She didn’t greet us, and she gave us a bad look when we walked in.
- 4/5
The room was very clean .... The only problem we had was the lack of help or even acknowledgement from the ladies at breakfast
- 2/5
The room smelt like pee , shower stained, I kept tripping on the hallway carpet on the 2nd floor because it’s so old and was lifting, there were stains all around the room from the ceiling , floors, and curtains (LITTERALLY everywhere) , the hot tub was out of service unfortunately when we went .. but ya know things happen . And the shower had no hot water . Luckily we had a very very very busy itinerary so we only needed to shower and sleep there because it’s not somewhere you’d want to or could unwind and relax it honestly.

Amazing hospital and decent rooms, easy last minute changes
- 3/5
The beds were good and comfortable. The furniture in the room was old and damaged. The bathroom walls could use a wipe down and fresh coat of paint and some bigger softer towels. The outside of the building is not inviting at all. The safe when we checked in was nice. The public areas carpets were stained and dirty.
- 5/5
Nice property for the area it is in
- 1/5
Catfish promotion for this hotel. It’s so bad do not stay here lol. Stains all over the carpet. Hand towels are being used as body towels. So not worth it, save your money and stay at comfort inn across the street
- 1/5
I wouldn't recommend anyone here to stay. Multiple times of getting a ride service almost past the building because it looks abandoned. Area is unsafe , it’s under a freeway and a highway at the same time. Carpet looks like it was installed in 1976 appears to be never been cleaned and hallways smell like mold and mildew needs to be replaced. Evaluators constantly had issues. Also not to mention IT IS RIGHT NEXT TO A FUNERAL HOME!! Avoid at all cost!! the Building should be condemned for health and safety reasons. Staff was amazing and very nice, it’s not their fault but it is the owner. Should be ashamed to run a hotel in such horrible condition.
- 5/5
Most of the staff was good. Shower didnt work. Was there one night. Told front desk at checkout. They didnt do or say anything
- 5/5
Clean snd Good early 6 am breakfast.
- 2/5
Where to begin? This was one of the more horrible hotel stays ever. The bathtub was stained and dirty smelled of comet and it was very slippery. One grab bar is not enough. I was going to my sister‘s funeral and flew in from California and I wanted to check in early if there were any rooms available and I was told there would be a $55 fee since I did have to change my clothes before I went I accepted that fee. Also, I had made a reservation mistakenly at Wyndham North instead of Wyndham Southwest where I ended up and because I gave 24 hours notice and not a weeks notice I was charged the whole fee for both hotels. If I wanted a microwave in my room, it was five dollars more and if I wanted Refrigerator that was five dollars more as well. It felt quite like extortion to me since you’re there, and I was there under arrest, and there was no conversation about it and no talking about it or negotiating about it. On a less note, but still very important. There was no water in the vending machines and although it said credit card, it only took cash, but then it sent the wrong bottleout of the selection that I picked. I was looking for flavored water and I got lemonade. Very frustrating. The final thing and this is an accident. I’m sure, but the fire alarm rang in the middle of the night. After it rang a second time I called to see what the problem is and the guy at the desk said he wasn’t sure that fireman were coming to check it out. There was no “all clear” annoumcement.
- 2/5
Terrible
- 2/5
Won’t lie the area is a little sketchy for me but we only stayed one night so for a quick trip it’s not bad
- 1/5
I had to wait almost 2 hours past my scheduled check in of 3pm. Once I got my key I went to my room to immediately see how filthy and unmaintained and unsafe the room was. I immediately called front desk for a room change. I went down and waited for over an hour to be assisted. I spoke to Monica and let her know that I would like to request a full cancelation and refund to which she understood and approved verbally. I do not recommend this property as it is unsanitary, unsafe, chaotic and understaffed.
- 2/5

Place seems a little run down but stay was fine and cheaper than other locations. I was happy to see a security guard available to watch the parking lot.
- 1/5
The property was scary and dirty. We canceled and booked elsewhere.
- 5/5
Robert from the front desk was absolutely lovely!
- 2/5
Dirty hotel that needs updates and better training for staff. I’ve machines down and breakfast wasn’t worth touching so advertising it is a waste of time. The hotel should be closed.
- 3/5
The pictures on this site was not what we saw in person. The walls were dirty the floors were dirty and had trash, and old soap was left in the bathroom
- 1/5
This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. We were running late for check-in, and called 10 times to make sure it was okay that we were checking in at 10pm. The phone was never answered, and come to find out the girl at the front desk was silencing the calls bc she was too busy on her own phone. I physically watched her do it to another guest’s calls. Second, the rooms were filthy. The carpet was stained, walls had footsteps on them, mattresses had huge brown stains. I killed a bug in the room every single day we stayed. I remember when La Quintas were such higher quality.
- 1/5
We did not stay!!! upon entering the room we were sickened by the stench and immediately went back to the desk and informed them that the room was unacceptable. They did not have another room available and that was fine because we did not want to stay there in the first place, I can’t imagine anybody sleeping in those conditions.
- 5/5
okay
- 4/5
Nice quant
- 1/5
The furnishings were broken, tattered, dirty. Rugs were filthy. Towels were thin and scarce. Breakfast was disgusting and they ran out of coffee before 9AM.
- 1/5
The hotel is in terrible condition, the curtains are stained, as are the blankets, the carpet is torn and unclean.
- 3/5
The staff was the best her name was Joya . The furniture was old and chip I was a little cold so i had turn on the heater is smell like somebody was dead. It was clean but old furniture including the lobby. But i wouldn't stay there again.
- 1/5
Dilapidated property with overgrown grounds, stained walls, tattered dirty carpet, burnt out light bulbs, etc. It looks like the owners of this hotel haven't put anything into upkeep in several years. The room was okay and the staff was nice enough. But it's in a less than wonderful neighborhood. The number of creepy people wandering around the parking area was a little disturbing. I was actually worried for my truck and its contents being parked there overnight. The food at breakfast was mediocre and there was no coffee to be found. All in all, not recommended.
- 1/5
What looked to be blood or at least some type of stains all over the curtains and carpet. Chunks of the carpet were torn and missing, definitely not what was advertised not in a good area either. We checked out 15 minutes after being there to go to a better hotel
- 1/5
Our first room was so dirty that we had to complain in order for them to move us. The second room wasn’t as dirty but it was still uncomfortable. You can tell there is no maintenance to this hotel. There are stains on the walls, the furniture the hallways. They never cleaned our room ( we were there for 3 nights). Overall I would not recommend
- 4/5
Dated building with updated decorations. Rooms were very comfortable and well kept Lobby lounge area very modern. Breakfast area was basic.
- 1/5
Everything was so dirty and smells so bad
- 5/5
Clean room. Good breakfast
- 1/5
Everything was dirty, and the room smelled horribly damp. The hallways smelled like marijuana all the time. And at night, there was a bedbug in my pillow.
- 1/5
I only stayed one of two nights because bathroom light (fluorescent bulb in the two rooms they attempted to put me in both had issues. It was hard to see in both bathrooms because only one light above sink was working, however, it was a blown out light bulb. I asked to get money back for not staying second night. Unfortunately, the manager wasn't available and the manager does not empower the employees to make concessions to make guests feel resolved. Then Expedia called on my behalf and were unable to resolve the issue. Unfortunate experience.
- 3/5
What I did not like was the smell of the carpet in the hallways, smelled like they had gotten wet and peeling up. The outside needed a grounds keeper to clean up, had tall weeds ad trash in the bushes and stuff. Also, seen a giant roach while walking into the hotel. But you get what you pay for. Was right next to the bypass so a lot of noise at night.

Nice but needs update
- 4/5
It’s ok
- 1/5
Not the best area needs to be updates inside. And we got stuck in elevator FD advised us to hit elevator door so it will go back on track! Not safe.
- 3/5
It was not real clean. Needs alot of remodel
- 3/5
Breakfast options needed
- 3/5
The hot tub jets didn't work, breakfast was lacking variety and our key card had to be reprogrammed every night.
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 2/5
Building is not maintained well, elevator was ~18 months past inspection expiration. Charges for a second key and facility is in need of repair.
- 1/5
Was told last minute there was a $50 security deposit, was not informed of that when I booked the room. The AC keep making noises all night so I received maybe an hour of sleep. Front desk manager was extremely rude when I asked him about the Security Deposit. Breakfast tasted like it was reheated, not freshly made.
- 1/5
The conditions are bad. The exterior is deteriorated. It feels unsafe. Many homeless people outside. The breakfast was not appetizing. The rooms did not look as crisp as in the pictures. I was embarrassed to have booked two rooms in this hotel to accommodate another family. We are really disappointed.
- 3/5
I went in anticipation of having a comparable stay to hotels I'd stayed in before. I regret to say that the condition of the hotel was extremely worn. The highlight of my stay was the lady that checked us in. She was very personable and she made my complete stay so much more bearable. The reviews were misleading. What was described as a high rated hotel was quite the opposite. I wondered why the price was so reasonable. I saw why after arriving. I give this hotel a complete thumbs down
- 2/5
There was no toilet paper. No soap, shampoo, or body wash. I called the reception, and nobody answered. I had to go down to get some of that.
- 2/5
Hotel was rough. Front desk staff stayed on a personal call the entire check in process. Everything was overall just poor quality.
- 2/5
The property has not been taken care of in many years. It needs all walls painted, cabinets and furniture in our room we’re peeling, and every carpet in the building is filthy.
- 2/5
This place is dirty and needs a complete remodel. The carpets in the hallways are torn and dirty. I went for breakfast. It consisted of tater tots, cereal, and sausages. There were no eggs or coffee.
- 4/5
Restrooms could use more towels soap and tissue
- 3/5
The staff was kind at La Quinta however the property is very dated located under an overpass with many abandoned buildings around. Biggest complaint is the very lacking breakfast, waffle iron broken, no coffee one morning, sliced bread only item in baked good container. Overall disappointing.
- 1/5
I had a terrible experience. The hotel smells like weed all the time. Unsafe location . The breakfast is extremely limy. Will never come black.
- 1/5
Front desk was rude behavior. Poor communication.
- 1/5
The hotel staff was amazing. It's the up keep of the place that is poor. Our first room 305 smelled like an elderly person sitting in a diaper for a week. It was horrible. Our second room was better but the ac kept going off and on in 10 minute intervals set all through the night. We literally did not get any sleep. The breakfast was horrible so I wouldn't rely on eating there and this hotel is located in the hood part of downtown. The Laquinta in sign was broken and landscaping is horrible. The place looks bad and the carpets need to be cleaned. The carpets had blacks stains all over them. This is the second worst hotel experience I've ever had. The staff was great though
- 3/5
Necesita cuidados en la facilidad y limpieza
- 3/5
Check out lady awesome hard worker
- 5/5
We had a good stay pool and jacuzzi were clean and working.Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were also clean.Had a simple breakfast, very convenient to I-35 and 183. Walmart is close by and you have a couple of restaurants on the next block over and 10min from downtown.
- 4/5
Good for the price
- 4/5
Disappointed
- 5/5
Around the property, not the property itself. Still haven’t received my $50 deposit back from La Quinta.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 3/5
Walked in and the girl working there saw me but did not acknowledge me for about 4 minutes. Then walked over and seemed very annoyed. She wasn’t welcoming and didn’t even greet upon entry. The outside of the hotel looks like the building is abandoned. The inside has a broken elevator and several carpet pieces put together instead of it being all one. The ice machine was broken and the luggage cart was kept together by a wire. Overall would not stay again. The area does not look safe either. They do have a security guard at night but he spent the time talking to the employee instead of securing the area. Not family friendly
- 1/5
The property smell like mold, the staff was tude
- 1/5
They don’t give your deposit back have to call them and they will say they made a mistake our truck got robbed in their parking lot and when I checked in I grabbed a banana from fruit basket on counter at check in they said it’s 2 dollars worst la Quinta I’ve stayed at in 20 years
- 1/5
Staff was super nice. Hotel was clean but the room was HOT all night and ac not cooling properly.
- 1/5
The people in charge of the front desk had a very bad attitude, very unprofessional. The place was very dirty from the entrance of the hotel. Dirty folders were torn, the ceiling leaked water, the ice machine didn't work, the elevator didn't work, the breakfast was disgusting, very little security in the parking lot and inside the building. That place was a real nightmare.
- 1/5
Bad reputation for La Quinta
- 3/5
Place is fairly clean. Breakfast was not good. Room was good. Only one elevator works and it broke down o my check out date
- 1/5
The hotel is so old its broken into pieces. I was ashamed with my family that we had to stay there. Thats not la quinta inn style hotel
- 3/5
No place to smoke and no rooms for smokers
- 3/5
Only 1 lady running front desk. Long line. She communicated, moved as quick as she could.
- 5/5
Check in staff was professional, attentive and welcoming. As much as I tried finding something wrong with hotel, I was not able to. room was clean and perfect. I guess the only downfall to out stay was having a view of the funeral home next to this location. This will be my stay location when comimg to Austin!
- 4/5
Please bring back breakfast
- 2/5
Breakfast was a lie.
- 1/5
Only one kind of cereal No waffles Biscuits that were overcooked Diced potatoes that were looked like they were raw There was less than a quarter of a pitcher of milk I had asked if it was open and I was told yes, but the swimming pool was very dirty and the spa didn’t work. The room was hot even thou I put it at coldest. The curbside appeal was not the best. There was grass and weeds growing near a parking spot that I had to park. I would like to get my money back .
- 3/5
Everything was good room is great I just didnt like the fact that the front desk lady treat us especially if we are hispanics she was so happy talking to a black man but when she saw us she made this face and then I went to ask for pool towels and answered in a bad way I did notice she does treat everyone else good except hispanics please dont have racist people at this nice hotel other than that everything is good room, breakfast and pool ❤️
- 5/5
Decent hotel friendly staff
- 2/5
You get what you pay for. Everything in the room is falling apart or needs replacing. The desk chair fabric is worn and torn. The chair falls all the way back. Lamp shades are worn, stained, peeling. Toilet seat is peeling away. Drawer off its rack. Cabin refrigerator door is on its last screw. Believe it or not, I'm not upset. I'll stay with La Quinta in the future. Just not this one.
- 3/5
It was goos for the price.
- 1/5
Place was awful. I got stuck in the elevator and got no apology or anything. We then had to use the srairs and we were on the 4th floor. The breakfast was pathetic. Coffee was cold. None of their ice machines work and the lady who was there on Wednesday morning (7/23) was rude, clueless, and talked loudly on her phone.
- 5/5
It qll hood
- 1/5
Unfortunately this establishment was very dirty. There was stains everywhere, floor was burned and room had a foul odor. We had asked for a different room and it was just as dirty as the first room.
- 1/5
The dirty room, there was no soap or shampoo, the dining room was dirty and the terrible breakfast, too much humidity throughout the hotel.
- 3/5
Worn out, elevator broken
- 4/5
Great place and a fair price
- 2/5
I had to call reservations to get the number of the front desk. I was afraid for my safety!!! The front desk never called me back or came to my room to let me know it was safe. That’s very unfortunate and made me fear for my safety all night long. I was afraid to leave the room.
- 3/5
It’s alright for a quick, in
- 1/5
If I could, would leave a negative number rating. La Quinta has been my go-to brand for a long time, but might be time to change. Never have I seen such a rundown, shabby, dirty, smelly hotel! Phone in the room didn’t work. Elevators broken, had to climb up and down 4 floors to bring my luggage down. Lord knows what would’ve happened if I was physically incapable of doing that. I’m hoping the corporate headquarters sees this review; not good for their reputation!
- 1/5
First rooms smells like urine, the. The rest of the other rooms we got just smells like ac have not been cleaned out in a long long time, then breakfast in the morning just sad, only cereal, bread and burnt biscuits and gravy. We just packed our stuff and go eat breakfast else where.
- 4/5
This location was extremely run-down and in desperate need of updates.
- 1/5
The room smelled musty, the furniture was worn with stains and torn up, and the elevator wasn't up to code. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. We're didn't even stay our second night.
- 3/5
They must do better.
- 3/5
The property has straddlers hanging around and it really need renovating badly. The carpet is very dirty and it smells in the hallways. We didn't sleep well neither night because next door to our room, it was a lot of traffic in and out the entire night/morning, slamming doors, screaming, laughing/talking loud, running down the hallway and just so noisy until after 4:30 & 5:00am the next morning.
- 5/5
I REALLY enjoyed the room I had during this stay! It was quite comforting, relaxing and spacious!! The staff was very cordial and great!
- 1/5
Very old outdated hotel room everything looks so dirty and they ask $50 early check inn fee for $70 room at 2 PM check inn is at 3 PM.amazingly ridiculous. Stay away. Outside of the hotel looks terrible. They need to cut their grass. Looks like an abandoned hotel pick somewhere else area is not very desirable. Deposit was also $50.

- 1/5
Please don't go there. It's an old, dilapidated, run-down, extremely dirty place. Carpets smell very bad. Whether in the hallways or in the rooms. The star I give is for the toilet that was clean.
- 3/5
Everthing was perfect until I woke up and there was water all over ground and half
- 2/5
Cleanliness, laundry unable in evenings
- 3/5
1 set of towels in room, no light bulb in lamp, no condiments in room. From dest was nice he did give us some. Hallway carpets really dirty. Breakfast was late 20 min and only water down apple juice to drink, besides coffee with powder creamer. Not a lot to choose from on breakfast need a better cook and variety.
- 5/5
Comfortable, clean and relaxing
- 1/5
A room that leaked. A television that was too small. And management that really, really didn't care. Maintenance never showed up and there was "nothing they could do for me." Wyndham should take their name off this hotel as fast as they can.
- 1/5
The two bedroom was very affordable. However, our restroom was clogged. I went downstairs expecting to be changed to another room, but the front clerk handed me a PLUNGER & he made US UNCLOG the toilet. Guests shouldn’t have to be doing that.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff even helped me with a lost item two days after I left the property.
- 5/5
Although my stay here was fine, I'm questioning something that was quite awkward. This is the first time ever for my stay at this hotel. After checking in and going to my room, I noticed something odd in the bathroom that I've never encountered before. There was 1 full roll of toilet tissue on one holder and on the other was a couple of sheets/strands. As an incoming guest, my first reaction was "Why wasn't that roll replaced?". In all the times of having hotel stays, this has NEVER happened! I just thought it was odd and quite awkward.
- 3/5
Room had roach in it when we turned in lights and had a very old or musty smell. Staff was friendly but it’s definitely in worse condition than the pictures made it seem to be

Friendly staff

99.% of staff were amazing! Breakfast was ok cold. If u want jelly u share out of the same jelly jar. I was charged a 50.00 deposit when I never read that up front. It’s not a place I would go back to. Cleaning staff are amazing!!
- 3/5
The staff was really nice and welcoming, but the property itself felt outdated. The pool didn’t look clean, which was disappointing. Overall, it’s okay for a one-night stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer visit.
- 2/5
Comfy bed, decent breakfast..Room was humid, air conditioner was noisey
- 5/5
I felt safe and felt that my car was protected. The lobby and room were clean and free of any odor. The staff was friendly and there was always someone attending the front desk. My daughter stayed down the street at a pricey hotel and in comparison my room was larger more spacious and the bathroom was larger as well I had a working tv and more amenities and felt safer.
- 1/5
There was a lot of smokers and then at night there was a drugged out women in the parking lot taking super loud
- 1/5
I cannot believe that upon returning from business obligation after a 3 days out of a 4 night stint (leaving a DO NOT DISTURB sign) on the door at this hotel my room was entered and all my belongings with the exception of cleaning the trash and renewing towels were packed up. I refused to pay a “daily renewal of a $50 deposit as I was going on a night by night basis to feel out peace and comfortability. Now how you can touch a customers belongings to the point of personal invasion is beyond my understanding. DO NOT stay here unless you want your luggage snooped through. Need I say more? My receipt of a room paid for screenshotted and proof of pay and no danger of destruction— none done thus far does not warrant an entry. Yes . I kept a trolley hostage in the room since there are 4 others since I didn’t want to have to hunt for one before a 3 hour drive home. Take the trolley! - why touch my stuff, and audacity to not clean the room.
- 3/5
Both hosts at the front desk were excellent. The room was clean and everything worked well. The breakfast was not good. Was that supposed to be eggs? Was it potatoes? Biscuits were burnt. Only white bread was offered--no bagels, muffins, or even wheat bread. Afraid to try the gravy. Better to drop the breakfast and pay the front desk help more.
- 4/5
Bed was great and comfortable. Bath was spacious. Carpet needs replacing along with vanity and hutch. Hotel was quiet. Check in staff was not welcoming. Breakfast was unimpressive. Area was a little isolated. It's good place to stay if you just want a comfy bed and be left alone before sight-seeing or eating out. The hotel could do a lot more to make it inviting for just a little more effort.
- 5/5
easy check in and homie
- 5/5
Everything was good but the room needed more lighting. Also needed complimentary shampoo, soap, and cream. Those were the two main reasons.
- 3/5
Upon arrival, there was a homeless fight in the parking lot in front of the main entrance. The hallway smelled like urine. The carpet was horrific. I had to go to Walmart to buy a candle and plug-ins. The bed pillows were the size of couch pillows. I trusted the pictures, but never again.
