This was a clean and very comfortable hotel. It is attractive and pleasant. We were charged $10 for one night of parking even though Booking.com said parking was free. I find this disingenuous on the hotel's part. This is an airport hotel. Most people will be arriving by car. There are plenty of spots in the lot which is open air and does not provide any extra security. This seems like a hidden fee.

Breakfast was great, waffle station and sausage sandwiches ...had to ask for things like butter and cream cheese. Chose this hotel and was willing to pay extra for the 9.2 rating but I didn't not see that, unless the surrounding hotels are really that rough. Bathroom had yellow grout and you could smell the pipes. Chairs and top bedding had mystery stains.

Hotel was perfect and breakfast was good.

Everything was very nice clean really enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very professional and friendly. Check in and check out went smoothly. Our room was very clean. The breakfast was good. My only complaint is that they only had one pod of regular coffee. They had one pod of decaf. In total we had 2 pods of coffee.

WiFi was spotty and some headaches given I was there for work.

Staff is awesome and very friendly and helpful, the manager Nyesha runs a great hotel providing a wonderful experience.

2 night stay. No housekeeping provided and when questioned I was told they only provide any housekeeping every other day. Do you are allotted 2 towels which is ok I guess but you also only get 1 coffee pod & 1 decaf for your 2 night stay. Also breakfast bar was constantly out of numerous hot items and when guests would mention it to attendant she would not even acknowledge that she heard them.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and in order however the parking lot had a lot of feral cats.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott . The property was immaculately clean, and I received great service from the staff. The only issue was the elevator being broken for most of my visit. Hauling luggage up the stairs wasn't easy, but I needed the workout! Thankfully, the elevator was fixed right before checkout. Overall, the quality of the room and the excellent service made this a highly positive experience. I would definitely recommend it.

Elevator was down. It would have been great if she would have said it before she gave me a room. She didn’t say anything at all till after a room was assigned to me. Such an inconvenience to go up and down. Especially if you have trouble going up flights of stairs, she didn’t even ask if I was able to. Do better and next time let your guests know ahead of time not EVERYONE can do stairs.

More attention is needed to needs of guests, such as early morning coffee and easy access to buy the snacks, etc.

Great spot lots of food options

The morning after our first night, I noticed brown water leaking from the base of the toilet, spreading across the bathroom floor. I’d seen some dampness the night before but figured it was from a prior guest or one of my kids after a shower. I reported it, and a tech confirmed the leak. Instead of handling it professionally, the assistant manager questioned why I didn’t report it earlier, despite my explanation. The interaction turned needlessly confrontational, but was never abusive on my end. I asked for a refund for the second night (which we hadn’t stayed yet), but was told it probably wouldn’t happen. They offered to move us to another room later that day, but after talking it over—especially with my daughter having been barefoot in the bathroom—we decided not to return. When I called to cancel, I was falsely accused of being abusive to staff, which was completely untrue. After several calls between Expedia and the hotel, they agreed to split the refund. Two weeks later, Expedia says the hotel still hasn’t processed it. The plumbing issue was bad, but the bigger issue was the poor management and lack of accountability. I travel a lot, and this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.

On a road trip. Stop for one night. Very easy to get to from highway. Staff were pleasantly polite. Convenient quick foods nearby. Perfect for our needs. Room was quite nice as well.

Also told there was no roll out bed. Hotels have rollouts. I called them out then I got told it was broken! So my kid slept on the floor for 2 nights

Breakfast had all the essentials to start the day right, and the exercise room was well-equipped with machines and free weights. The swimming pool was also clean and a great bonus. We especially appreciated the hotel’s quiet location in a safe and pleasant area. One standout detail was the 12pm checkout time—more generous than most places and a real convenience. All in all, a great experience. We would gladly stay here again!

Fairfield Inn-Bakersfield North Airport location never disappoints. From the friendly, efficient greeting from Riley at the front desk upon arrival to the friendly and professional gentleman at the desk at check out, the entire staff is fantastic. The room was well-insulated and very quiet. It has a mini-fridge and microwave. The breakfast is fine. The gym has plenty of exercise equipment. It sometimes needs towels or anti-bacterial wipes to be replaced more frequently. But otherwise, this property is well-run, well-staffed and looks new. I will stay here again.

Very nice staff. We did have a little disruption. It had been raining for a couple of days so we did have a leakage into our room but they quickly moved us to another room. Also it was very nice that since our flight left at 5:15am the front desk packed us a to go bag. That was very nice and much appreciated.

When we arrived I went into the bath and there was hair on the towel. The sheet was very old and worn. Every door slam in the corridor was heard loudly in the room and the breakfast was mediocre

I have stayed at this property several times and will not hesitate to stay here again. The property is new and in fantastic condition. The staff are friendly, professional and well-trained in customer service. I like the rooms since they are comfortable, quiet, clean and provide a microwave and refrigerator. Really, everything is at this property that one would need and expect, as well as a reasonable price.

The staff was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful at check-in, and even let us use the pool for the 30 minutes we waited to check in because we were early! They were so accomodating. The next morning, I accidentally left my AirPods in the room, and Tallas went out of her way to make sure I got them back. I'll stay here every time I'm in Bakersfield, and I've already told my local friends about the great staff at this hotel! Thank you all!

I have stayed at this hotel several times previously and have appreciated it every time. As before, Riley was very helpful and friendly at the front desk from the start of my stay through checkout. I highly appreciate the quietness of the hotel and the well-insulated rooms. I slept well and was very comfortable there, all for an affordable price. Oh, the gym was a much-appreciated amenity. I will definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

We stayed at the hotel a year ago and were extremely happy with it. The area has changed since then and is a very busy area now. It was alot noisier than last year. It’s a little hard to find since there is no sign with the road name on it but overall an excellent choice.

The hotel was old but in fairly good shape. The beds were comfortable but the room smelled very strong of perfume like they were trying to hide an odor.
