Baldwinsville B&B

Jim welcomed us and checked us in. Our room was lovely. If you’re planning a long stay, note that there is no dresser or draws. A huge closet with ironing board and luggage racks. Lots of hangers too. It’s 1 block from the Main Street. Parking is in the rear behind the garden. We didn’t see Jim again until breakfast which is at 9am. You get a menu of 2 choices for breakfast the night before

Room was a touch warm on the 2nd floor, there is no AC from what I’m told, we visited in April, so luckily the outside temps were moderate at best. I would be unbearable in the summer without AC. Room was extremely clean and owners were very accomadating. Breakfast was fantastic, I’d stay again, just not in the summer

This is our second time staying here and we are so glad we found this place and makes coming to see family in the area that much more special . After driving through a bad snow storm , we arrived to a roaring fire and egg nog . Our room was well appointed and the breakfasts wonderful !

The innkeepers Jim and Phyllis are friendly and available. The rooms and sitting areas are spacious, beautifully decorated and welcoming! Breakfast was delicious both mornings with a sweet and a savory choice and always with fresh fruit that is in season. We highly recommend staying in this wonderful B&B when visiting central NY.

Breakfast was delicious. I have to control my carb intake but really wanted the waffle with honey laced cream cheese. OMG. Yum. They were kind enough to give me a small portion of sweet and savory for breakfast. Chatting with other guests was nice and relaxing. Went out back and meditated by the koi pond before heading out. Loved it.

Jim and Phyllis operate a friendly, first-class venue. Breakfasts were superb. And it’s a quick stroll to the charming riverfront downtown of Baldwinsville, NY

Jim and Phyllis are masters at creating the ultimate bed and breakfast experience. The property, built in 1816, has been impeccably restored. Rooms are artfully decorated with gorgeous antiques and include every comfort. Breakfasts (including for those with dietary restrictions) were scrumptious. The vegan blueberry pancakes were so fluffy and pear waffles irresistible. I will definitely be back when visiting my daughter at SU. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I loved my stay at Baldwinsville B&B! I stayed one night to visit a friend. Jim greeted me right away and was accommodating of my arrival past check-in time over text. What a beautiful place! We had such an awesome stay. The hosts were awesome and the homemade breakfasts were delicious. The other guests that we talked to were repeat customers and if we ever happen to be in this area we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely beautiful rooms with impeccable service.

Our host and hostess were wonderful and the property is gorgeous and cozy in the winter. We sat by the fireplace and recharged, it was spectacular. This is a place to relax, unwind, and recenter.

We were in town for the Dinner Detective murder mystery dinner at the Mohegan Manor. The Baldwinsvile B&B was a short, one block, walking distance away. Nice clean room and bath. Breakfast was amazing! We highly recommend!

It is in a nicely maintained 1816 house located right in the village. The house is beautiful inside. Good breakfast.

Couldn't have been more perfect

We had a wonderful time enjoying this beautiful B&B! The breakfast was delicious as we had time to meet the other guests. The living room has great light and is comfortable for reading or socializing. You can easily walk downtown for dinner or drive to Syracuse to see your favorite student. We will certainly be back!

We very much enjoyed our stay. We were up to move our daughter in at Syracuse. We found this beautiful place about 15 minutes out. It’s very nice and the town has a nice choice of restaurants.

First time staying at a B&B and was an amazing experience. Quiet, clean, beautifully decorated and cared for. Breakfast was as gourmet as you can get. Walk to downtown Baldwinsville a beautiful historic small town. Can’t wait to go back.

The perfect place to stay when visiting Syracuse! The historical house is beautifully renovated. My room was the “Round Room”—lovely interior design, super comfortable bed, nicely updated bathroom, all amenities needed (bottled water, mini fridge, iron, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, soap, etc.)— plus the fun of sleeping for the first time in a turret room! Breakfast was delicious. Parking is easy at the end of the driveway. Lovely canal town to walk around. Overall, a much more pleasant experience in every way than staying at a hotel in Syracuse. Will return for sure!

CHOOSE THIS. It is absolutely beautiful, the food is great, and this property is about 100 times more interesting than any hotel chain could try to be. The host is attentive and kind, we felt so welcome. We’d stay again without pause.

I love coming here when I have to travel for work. The vibe is so much better than a hotel and it just feels safe and quiet.

Beautiful house, wonderful hosts and delicious breakfast. Baldwinsville is so charming. The B&B made a great base for our day trips to Auburn (where we visited the top historic sites) and Skaneateles (where we enjoyed a boat cruise).

Proprietor Jim told us the history of the property including stories of famous (anonymous) personages who've stayed at the B&B and how it was used as part of the Underground Railroad and during prohibition times. We didn't have an opportunity to taste the breakfasts, but they sounded wonderful based on the menus. A little gem for a getaway. Highly recommended.

We needed to find accommodations for a night in the Syracuse area at the last minute and could not have been more fortunate to discover the Baldwinsville B&B. The historic home is immaculately decorated and kept, the accommodations supremely comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. The hosts were warm and shared a great deal of interesting information about their home, the village, and the region.

Clean and comfortable but when no breakfast is offered, a coffee maker or access to coffee or tea would be most appreciated in a B&B.

If you want to be impressed with B&B's, this is the place! The house is gorgeous and immaculate with owners Jim and Phyllis being the nicest hosts. Breakfast was so good and healthy down to the organic Stevia! After breakfast, Jim spent an hour talking to us about the area and it seemed like my husband new him since childhood discussing family and family values. Within walking distance to town and many restaurants to choose. Very nice area.
