Best Western Plus Battle Ground Inn & Suites

The saff was so informative about the surrounding and breakfast was great the room was clean and beautiful I will return to this hotle for sure

The beds were amazing.

The staff was GREAT and Keilani was a standout. Breakfasts changed daily and were all quite good. The rooms were VERY clean. The showers had GREAT pressure....but water temperature was inconsistent. The bed itself was comfortable and allowed for a great night's rest. The chair for the desk was clearly worn and should be replaced. Water temperature for the shower was inconsistent. Recommend a different set of pillows for the rooms (Marriot seems to have the best). The gym was nice...but the water bottle dispenser was empty on all four days I went (I think I was the only who used the gym during my stay).

Rooms are nice only thing I can complain about was the pillows but other than that hotel was worth the cost of the stay.

The staff at this hotel is what made this place great. Front desk check in was super friendly and welcoming. The cleaning staff in the morning went out of their way to say good morning. The breakfast was basic, but the lady prepping it was also super nice and making sure the place looked clean and inviting.

Fitness center was way below par. Three pieces of cardio and all were not working properly.

Location was great. Hotel is nice. The staff friendly & knowledgeable. Breakfast too salty. Bath tub / shower needs more safety bars & sign saying tub has slanted floor. I almost fell out. Bathroom light needs a dimmer switch.

The room was so spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I would have liked a heavier blanket, but that is just my preference. The other thing that would have been handy is to have silverware on hand, as I did use the microwave. Other than that, it well exceeded my expectations.

Sugar ants in bathroom and room

I was informed of the room having a pillow top mattress. Upon seeing the room and bed it was in no way shape or form a pillow top mattress bit was super thin and once you sat or laid down you instantly hit the bottom of the frame. No cushion. Like sitting down on a cinder block. They hence told me all the mattresses were the same and didn’t have any pillow top mattresses. Then showed me another room with a whole different mattress. They lied. Beware.

Very outdated, most unfriendly staff at any BW I have been to, breakfast was decent but old tasting, ants in the bedrooms, very loud busy area and the plus was the pool area was good.

The stay was excellent - room + bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable, check-in and check-out were smooth and straightforward. Have stayed here multiple times already and will continue to do so. Perfect for business travel stays + close enough to everything in Battle Ground and made it really convenient.

Our stay was great. My bf and I stay at a lot of hotels on our getaway weekends. This place is now one of my favorites. The front desk lady Kelsey personality was awesome. She was friendly and helpful, awesome customer service. I called 2 week ahead and asked some questions about the hotel and jet bath. She was polite and kind about answering.Going into our room, it was very nice and warm cozy. Jet bath was on point. Breakfast was great, I’m just personally not a fan of watery eggs but everything tasted great. We did not use the pool because we had the jet bath, looked like families were enjoying that though. Location is great! Dutch bros literally right in front of the hotel and some good restaurants. The casino is about 20mins away.

Beds were a little stiff for my liking and ants in the bathroom I finally had to change rooms after the 3rd or 4th day which they accomodated.

How many hotels are there in Battle Ground? Probably just this one. It's pretty good...it's worth extra $$ you're paying for the convenience of not having to stay in Vancouver if you need to be in Battle Ground. Pretty decent continental breakfast offering.

Wish they had breakfast like the other best western I stay at

Breakfast was good. Loved the waffle maker! Lighting in the room was low/poor lighting. No overhead lighting and an odd light in the bathroom that comes only from the mirror - no overhead lights in bathroom was strange. Maybe it was because I was not used to that type set-up, but overall, fairly nice accommodations. I also did not like small square pillows! Rooms need full size standard pillows.

As I was walking to my room for the very first time, two dogs were in one of the rooms (room 211) screeching and barking. I went right back down to the front desk and informed the individual manning the front desk I was not going to listen to that. He promptly moved me to the third floor and a different room. Dogs supposedly are not allowed in their rooms.

Breakfast was good, nice selection. The room was clean, but older. lighting was terrible. The only light in the bathroom is the lighted mirror, which is dim. No bathroom vent for shower. The air-conditioning has a thermostat, on which Fan only is not an option, so overnight you freeze or are too hot as no air is moving, so you also hear the street noise. There are no USB plugs in the room at all, so bring a wall plug if you need to charge your phone. I stayed 2 nights, and had no housekeeping come to remove the trash or replace towels, so trash was overflowing from eating in my room. Why eat in my room you ask, because they lock the eating room after breakfast so there is no place to sit sown with friends or family in this facility. Seriously over priced for the amenities.

Location is perfect to be close to family. We enjoyed a restful night. I know there were several vehicles in the parking lot so I assumed there were several guests but the hotel was very quiet. Chorine odor from the pool was strong in the lobby but didn’t notice anything upstairs. I definitely understand the necessity of keeping the pool clean.

Clean rooms and bedding.

The "NEW" TV remote was so confusing that it required staff to instruct us on which numbers showing on the TV were actually the channel number we wanted. VERY CONFUSING. Our 2 week vacation was consistently spent with Best Western, and every remote was a little different, but the remote TV set up at Battle Ground was impossible to figure out.

I love that you had a gluten-free choice. It was nice to have a nice proteins juices were good coffee was great. Choices were wonderful. The staff was the best part smiling and friendly. I did not care for the mirror in the bathroom.

Have a room by the main road, hear traffic all night. Also the hotel will not accept hotel points when using Expedia. Not sure who to stop using, the hotel or Expedia.

Free parking, breakfast, and an indoor pool were all appreciated extras at a price lower than if we had stayed in Vancouver or Portland. Battle Ground, WA is farther away from I-5 than I realized (about 10 miles), but the motel was nice.

Everything about my stay was fantastic. I was travelling with my 4 young children and our room was very spacious. The beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool multiple days. Recommend!

Nice n cozy with polite staff

Was charged $100 for a “deposit” hold fee that I never got reimbursed. Breakfast was mediocre food was tasteless and sausage had a rubbery texture, seemed like we were getting yesterdays leftovers to say the least in fact the only thing I was excited for was the waffle maker which was out of service. Blankets were very thin as the sheet, resembling long John undergarments. what a great stay won’t be returning

The room we stayed in was beautiful and very clean. The room was quiet and noise from the hallway couldn’t be heard. We can recommend the log cabin room on the third floor enough. Very comfortable and relaxing.

There is a good variety of restaurants within walking distance of the property.

Property was well kept and clean in all areas. Room was nice, very clean; bed was comfortable, pillows were comfortable but were odd in that they were little squares instead of rectangles, more like cushions. AC worked very well. Easy parking, close to grocery stores and restaurants. Was a bit hard to get to hotel because the address given is actually the street the side of the hotel faces and there is no turn in. The front of the hotel is on the side street. Apart from having to walk downstairs to desk to change non-working keys twice, no complaints. Would stay here again.

I loved my stay.

Poor lighting in the entire hotel room. In bathroom mirror with led frame lighting inadequate. Room size, microwave, coffee maker and fridge were great. Employees were good also. Breakfast excellent! We mostly stay here every year because it closest hotel to my cousins home.

Our doors were broken, there were drug deals happening in the parking lot, the floors were dirty and sticky!

It was a great visit. The only comment that I would make other than the great breakfast is the updated bathroom. I did not like the only Lighting in the bathroom was the updated mirror LED light

Needed a place last minute. Great choice. Easy check in later night. Clean. Comfortable. Please note however the stairs lead out to the street. I had to walk around the corner to parking lot. Other wise super great

The sheer head is so restricted that washing your hair is not possible. The bathroom light fixture is blinding but useless to see what you’re doing. The room in general is dingy

This was very conveniently located near my family. Very clean and nice staff.

Very clean rooms, pretty much spotless and I've made over half a dozen trips to this location. Staff is always great. Breakfast would be better if served from 7am - 10am instead, and also don't use tater tots for the potato...use seasoned breakfast potatoes. Also, the outdated and rickety treadmill needs to be replaced, the workout room would be good if that was fixed.

Spacious room that was well-appointed. Very nice bath that would be improved with a handheld instead of fixed showerhead. The bed was awesome!

The hotel did not look like much when we dirst walked in but our room was very large, clean and well cared for! The breakfast was great and thenpool and hot tub were just what was needed for my grandkids.

Had no good stay. Only a couple of issues. First, and most importantly, my room door would not latch unless I basically slammed it. Pulling on it did not even latch it. Secondly, bathroom in the pool area was out of order, not a good thing with kids. Otherwise, stay was great.

: hospitable treatment, reception, or disposition When is the last time anybody felt that the hotel industry actually appreciated your business? The policy to keep your hard earned money when you have to cancel at the last minute (there are actually legitimate reasons) is worth exposing. Best Western is not the only company that does it, all of them do, even RV Parks have gotten into the racket. Explain to me why they should be entitled to keep our money if we do not use their services? Is it legal? Yep, but that does not make it moral or ethical? The argument the industry makes is it is lost revenue however it does not cost the company a dime. The only scenario that would even come close to that would be if the hotel was 100% full with a full waiting list of people wanting to make reservations. However that is a rare scenario, the more common truth is that they have many empty rooms. So does my cancellation actually cost them anything. Nope. I would consider a cancellation fee for admin costs (you know the 3 minutes it takes them to cancel) but keeping the full amount is theft and fraud. I am sick of it but the reality is its our fault. As consumers we have allowed it without challenging it. Well its time to challenge it and get it changed. I know in my business I can not, and would not, charge for a service I did not provide. Its time the "Hospitality" industry did the same.

Hotel was relatively clean. Beds were nicely made and very comfy. Female at desk that checked us in was very nice, and check in was fast and hassle free. I didn't swim, but the two G' kiddo's did and they said pool was nice and warm, water clean, and the hot tub was clean and hot. The place is dated, but it felt safe, was acceptably clean, and I'll stay again for a quick overnight.

Late arrival, 3 crying kids, my husband gave his ID and credit card and went outside with the cart to unload the car thinking that I’d be able to finish checkin, get the key and get the kids to the room. Nope. He made us stay there while my husband unloaded the whole car and came back, wouldn’t give me the key. Wouldn’t talk to us at all. I asked if he was ok and he still didn’t acknowledge me. Not a good representation of the hotel brand.
