stayed for one night and found this place very comfortable and clean The bed and bathroom were both clean and comfortable. My flight arrived early, so I had to wait about 4 hours to check in, but the staff were very nice and helpful throughout my stay During the night it became a little loud outside, and there was some police in the lobby check in but I still felt comfortable. I appreciated the friendly staff and enjoyed the breakfast, which included coffee. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would like to thank the staff for their hospitality ❤️ Fight about checking police showing up it was a little bit scary but stay comfortable

Breakfast doesn’t exist. However, the reason why it’s not 1 stars is because of Janice, she was amazing and great and really gave us a great experience. We are from the UK. Janice deserves a promotion but hotel is a shambles

Upon arrival at midnight, due to my delayed flight, I found that my paid reservation was cancelled. When I arrive to the hotel I was told to wait because the system was updating. After the update I was told that there was no reservation since I had arrived late. However I had paid my 2 nights. At that point there were no rooms available and being past 1 am I was forced to sleep in my vehicle. I don’t understand why the hotel canceled my fully paid reservation!!! Horrible

Room was clean. Kitchenette area would have been nice if my stay was longer. Staff was abrupt and not very friendly at check-in. Towels were extremely thin. If you don’t request shampoo, there is none in the room. Same with items for the kitchenette. One desk chair and one upholstered chair, if 2 people are in the room, both cannot sit and eat at the table at the same time.

The property itself has strong potential, an excellent location, and many qualities that make it appealing to guests. However, there currently appears to be a noticeable gap between the pricing being presented and the overall operational and presentation standards being delivered compared to other hotels and professionally managed properties in the surrounding market. While there are no major structural concerns, several areas would benefit from additional attention to detail, preventative maintenance, and cosmetic refreshing. General repainting, touch-up work, surface refinishing, and improvements to overall presentation would significantly elevate the guest experience and help the property better align with guest expectations at this price point. At the moment, certain aspects of the property feel slightly below the standard guests now associate with premium hospitality accommodations. Small cosmetic issues, aging finishes, inconsistent detailing, and reactive maintenance collectively impact the perception of quality and value, even when the property itself remains highly desirable. We’d love to discuss business opportunities with the property managers and owners. We’d love to service this location! 312.590.7623 Joshua Michael

The fact I wanted to extend my stay and had to go online to get and check out Cary my bags with me than come back 4 hours later. The queen size seem like a double. The rooms are decent. They don't offer daily housekeeping, however, you can return your dirty towels to the front desk for clean towels, and if you need plates, silverware, etc, go to the front desk. YHou have to empty your garbage out yourself, and get new garbage bags from the front desk. I just wish there were ovens in the kitchen, and some pots to heat up your food. There is a stovetop in the room and a full-size fridge.

People on the top floor are smoking with the windows open. CRACKHEADS walking in and out of the side doors. Lots of men standing around the side entrance doors smoking weed (I respect them doing it outside more than their rooms but move away from the entrance door at least). The elevator was trashy. Full of popcorn. I was nice enough to let the front desk attendant know. Everyone is ignored it! I'm shocked. I have stayed here at least 7-10 times. I have seen "odd" people walking around and sitting outside the front area, but not like this trip.

I love the location of the hotel. It's close to where my family is located so no problems there. The hotel is very dated. It needs a serious makeover. The furniture, appliances and floors in the hotel were very old and needed replaced. I was scartto use the microwave, thought it would catch fire. The chairs in the room were broken and busting out the seems. The dresser drawers were off track . The stove wasn't working, had to call maintenance to fix it. The telephone was very disgusting and gross. The carpet was really dirty. There was a light that didn't have a switch so maintenance had to fix it. The headboard was scratched up, along with the chair in the room. The bathroom counter was cracked and had mold underneath. I told the receptionist, she wanted to switch us to a different room but apparently they were booked and had no rooms left. She did refund us back for one of the days of our stay. I took pictures and showed the receptionist. The halls also smelled like smoke.

Dated building that was haphazardly remodeled. Elevator sounded like it was on its last leg. The room air was stagnant. The kitchen was nothing special. There was warm water and hot water. The sink drain was coated in something and slowly drained. The tin has stains or something like tha I didn't use the shower because I was there for a night. No vending area and the complimentary breakfast was some old muffins, hot water for oatmeal, and tasteless coffee. Far from what I expected and not worth the cost. I’m from out of town and booked this Extended Stay thinking it would be decent based on the photos, but it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. When I walked in, the floors didn’t look like they had been swept, mopped, or vacuumed in a long time. The lobby had only two chairs for guests, and since I arrived about 30 minutes before check-in time, I had to sit on the luggage cart because there was nowhere else to sit. The lobby looked unclean with barely any seating, and the front desk staff were rude, unhelpful, and made me wait until exactly 3 PM to check in even though they were checking in another guest before me. The hall carpets were stained and torn, my door had spiders and webs, and the room smelled awful upon entry. My room door literally had spiders crawling up it, and there were spiderwebs in the corners of the shower , which didnt drain by the way. The refrigerator had dents all over it. The floors were so dirty my feet turned black after walking around, and the heater smelled like it was burning. When I asked for extra towels and blankets, they said they weren’t giving any out. Overall, as a new traveler , the poor cleanliness, bad customer service, and terrible room conditions completely turned me away from staying at any Extended Stay property again or any property like it. I would rather pay extra for a Marriott or another reputable hotel brand and have a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming experience.

I stayed for 2 weeks and I was told that I had to pay the first week immediately at check in however I had to pay for the second week at the start of the that week. I asked whether I would be able to get housekeeping services when I started the second week however the male Front Desk agent said no and that I would have to pay extra for it and that housekeeping services are available after 2 week stay, very disappointing. I think the pots and plates and kitchen utensils should already be in the room when you arrive not the guest have to go to Front desk to ask for it and then lug it all up the elevator to the room. When I went to ask for more soap to shower, the male front desk agent was being very stingy and gave me one small facial soap I had to beg for more which he gave with some hesitation. I think there is a lot that needs to be done regarding customer service. There is a lot that was not mention at the time of booking that became a surprise while staying there such as having to carry your dirty linens down to the front desk to get clean ones crazy! This place clearly being run like an apartment and not a hotel. Otherwise it was quiet, close to the airport, shopping and restaurants.

What set this hotel apart from other hotels is the sincere friendliness of the staff. I am pretty good at figuring out who is a genuine people person and who is just following a script. The room itself was ok. It smelled of old cigarettes but was clean enough. We liked the set up. There was only a thin blanket on the bed no comforter. Also the refrigerator was very very loud woke us up multiple times squealing. The shower also dropped the entire time. I'd give it about 3.5 stars. At least the area was nice. For how much we paid it was mid. There were also people smoking weed right outside the entrance we came back to.

This is not a hotel for tourists. There were absolutely no amenities that you would expect to see at a hotel. The kitchen had nothing in it. The only things provided were towels, bed linens, soap and a television. I expected it to at least have dishes and silverware. It is also a very expensive Uber ride to the tourist attractions.

Felt uncomfortable and unsafe from the minute I walked up to the front door. Many suspicious looking individuals standing in the entrance smoking. One gave me a very scary glare as I walked up. Rooms are outdated. Woke up in the middle of the night to loud music booming from the parking lot outside our room (for over an hour). Then at 4:00 am a woman was wailing in the hallway. I checked out one day early (from a 2 night stay) as my safety comes over possibly losing out on a refund (although the lady at the front desk said I’d get refunded so we’ll see)

Was expecting more bang for my buck. While everything was "ok" it just didnt meet expectations for the price point. Everything in the room was clean but old and definitely showed its age. You're supplied bar soap in your room but told to ask for shampoo. You have to ask for the kitchen supplies as they are not in the room, and again really showing its age just being so worn out. Breakfast was also disheartening, which had I done better research I would have been given a better heads up. But a granola bar, muffin and oat meal is all, and inconviently located right by the front enterance in a cabinet that opens up. Would I stay again? Maybe.....but the price would definitely have to be lowered or their hotel needs to be upgraded.

Worst hotel Ive ever been too! I wish i wouldve looked at the reviews before I came.its not like its a cheap hotel(at least not from where im from) 1)it is NOT in Chicago, thats a complete lie. It is 35 minutes away from Chicago. 2) it is SO dirty. They do not clean it. It smelled horrible when we walked in to the room. 3) they dont give you shampoo or any amenities . How cheap can they be to not even give out shampoo or soap. Ive never ever seen that from a hotel and ive stayed at way cheaper hotels. 4) they do not have breakfast. Thats another lie. Part of why we booked this was because they said they had breakfast included. What a joke. They have a table with coffee, a muffin, and oatmeal (no bowls for your oatmeal though). Mind you ive gotten full breakfast bars from cheaper places. 5) we talked to locals and the area around the hotel is not safe! They said car jackings and theft occurs alot.

Stayed in room 109. All surfaces were sticky, including tile floor. Shower curtain rod falling off the wall. Bathroom door could not be closed due to crooked doorframe. Breakfast included meant coffee & power bars. Would not stay there again. I expected more for $200/nite. Lots of other options in the area. Pick a different hotel.

Although the facility was quiet during the night and at least the shower worked (able to get hot water with water pressure), the staff was exceptionally rude, the elevator (when working) smelled like fish (we purchased air deodorizer and sprayed it each time we entered), the floors were somewhat sticky, much of the furniture was broken, the room smelled of cigarettes, and I had to "flip" the breaker in my room (IN THE DARK) without the front desk person even offering to assist (at least he told me where the breaker box was). Honestly, I'm glad I have experience with primitive camping, so not much bothers me. But, seriously, one of the worst places I've ever stayed.

The room we had was good. Clean except the bathroom. There was hair on the wall of the shower and stuck in the shower curtain. The hair dryer was broken and tossed on the shelf under the sink. For safety and health issues, mock kitchen fixtures/appliances should be replaced. Freezer and microwave look clean but smell. What was not liked was the midnight staff. The man who checked me in was clearly over it and he wanted to go home. He was dismissive and talked to me as though I was stupid. He told me a credit card needed to be put on file in case of additional charges. I was told to enter my card in the device to have on file. It was credit card scanner three feet away from the tablet I was entering my information. He did a vague hand wave which did not cause me to look three feet away from the tablet. Upon wake up at 430am, there was not hot water. I let the water run for a long time and it never got warm. I was certainly wake for my 630am flight after that chilly start. As we were leaving the property, there were four police officers dealing with some kind of domestic situation in another room. It was a suburb of Chicago, so I guess I can’t expect much. Again, it was a place to nap before a flight. I certainly would not choose to stay at this location in the future if I was traveling for pleasure.

Check-in was at 3pm on the 3rd, but due to travel, we checked in around 5:45pm. The room smelled horribly of cigarettes. We tried to request another room and were told that they were fully booked, but they would make a note of the smell so we could avoid any additional charges. Soon after, we were ready to unpack. We were surprised and disappointed to find there were drawers filled with clothing and drug paraphernalia, clothing was discarded under the bed, and since there was no blanket on the bed, we were convinced that the room had not been cleaned whatsoever. The man at the front desk came up himself to remove the clothing and paraphernalia. We asked for a blanket and took it to the room. Then we asked for sheets and were treated like guests who had been staying for WEEKS, not ones who had just checked in. We were told to bring the obviously dirty sheets and such to the desk and were expected to change everything ourselves. Ridiculous, considering we were given a filthy, uncleaned room. We left shortly after and could not get in contact with the GM of the hotel. We never came back, as we called the next day around 3pm and were told the room was STILL NOT CLEANED. I had to go through expedia, a manager, and other hotel staff to get a refund. I used to love staying here. I don't think I will stay again after this experience.

The place had homeless people sitting outside everywhere. The main lobby was dirty. I waiting for them to clean my room at 3p when i was suppose to be checking in at that time. Get to the room and it wasn't clean. It still had trash on the floor because they decided they wanted to pull up the carpet but didnt realize they would be required to sweep and mop. The room felt like a place homeless people slept when they accumulated enough funds. The hallway carpets look like mud. My allergies instantly when crazy due to the pet hair im sure was still living in the carpets that appear never to have been shampooed. There were a large amount of dogs in the hotel and the air filtering systems were null and void. the desk rep left with no communication all while watching me walk in to attempt to check in. She walked right pass me and i ended up having to wait at least 5min for her to return all to tell me the room wasnt cleaned yet. I didnt feel comfortable showering because the tub had crumbs in it. So i left and went home to shower before the end of my stay. I left 6hours before my check out time.

    • Beds were clean and comfortable • Kitchenette with stove top, microwave, and fridge • Location close to all major retailers for Black Friday shopping • Shower got plenty hot • Ample free parking • A/C and heat worked just fine Negatives: • Nothing stocked in the kitchen; had to ask and wait until the next day to get them. Even then, they gave us only 2 plates, 2 of each silverware, 2 coffee cups, and one pan...just random. Not a full set, especially since there was 3 of us. They didn't offer more. • Hair dryer didnt work. Asked for another, they said they had none. • The previous guest put a plastic bag over the smoke detector and someone had to be called to come get it down. Related... • The hotel seems to tolerate guests that smoke cigarettes or weed as the strong smells lingered the entire three days we were there. I would not take children there. • Bathroom had no amenities. When we asked, they only gave us shampoo. • Breakfast was a muffin, instant oatmeal, or granola bar. Glad they offered something, however. • Shower only had a decorative curtain and no true liner, so water went everywhere. • Staff seemed indifferent; not rude, but certainly not overly helpful either. • Hallway carpet is filthy and missing several chunks. Overall, many basics were covered. If you're put up by your company for a place to stay for a few days, it's fine. If you're with family for a trip, it might be better to look at other options.
