Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with guests expressing both satisfaction and dissatisfaction. Many guests appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the comfortable beds, but several guests had issues with the hotel's location, noise levels, and lack of amenities.
- Clean rooms
- Comfortable beds
- Noise from trains and nearby businesses
- Location is not as advertised, far from Flagstaff

Good service and quiet area with some area to walk
- 5/5
The young lady that checked us in was very friendly and professional. She made sure our stay was pleasant and that we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
I showed up early and they where able to get me checked in thank you. Will book again.
- 4/5
The room and bed were comfortable. The desk staff were excellent. The breakfast was very good. The breakfast didn't start till 7 a.m. It should have started at 6 a.m. I was surprised that it started so late. There were no vending machines. I could only fill up my water bottle from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. which was not convenient. There is easy freeway and gas station access.
- 5/5
I love this hotel...it always exceeds my expectations. Wonderful with medical service dogs and provision of rooms for disabled.
- 3/5
It's a good spot outside of Flagstaff. The building seemed to be under renovation and wasn't really in a good spot. Only scolding hot water showers, no TV cable at all, elevator even went down. Management didn't seem to care.
- 2/5
When we checked in, the lady was extremely friendly. She left at 10. If you needed anything after that, you’re out of luck. They only have a kiosk with someone from India. Not helpful. Needed another pillow, nope. The window wouldn’t lock all the way and the screen was almost off. Then had to go upstairs to get ice. Not a huge deal, but should have taken the stairs. The elevator tried to keep me. The door opened just a bit and then stopped. I had to force it open. There was a spot on the wall that a mirror was supposed to be. But was gone. Cable and internet down too. This hotel was not worth the price. Highly disappointed and not recommended.
- 5/5
After driving for 14 hours, we stopped here for the night.
- 2/5
Very dirty and very worn in many places in the room. TV not functioning.
- 1/5
My TV didn't work all night or day night shift didn't help at all morning shift was really nice guy!
- 4/5
Loved that the hotel allowed pets including our kitty kat. Very pet friendly.
- 5/5
Clean and tidy rooms, hearty breakfast
- 2/5
Rooms were not cleaned between days. Not enough towels, no restocking. Very small rooms. No closet, no luggage rack, no iron, very small bathroom. Pantry and refrigerator to buy snacks and drinks was empty. A/C in hallways were broken. Lobby bathroom closed due to "almost caught on fire" per staff. Bagels at breakfast were stale. Limited breakfast items. Fire table in courtyard not operational, per staff manager chose not to refill propane. No pool or spa available. Half the time, no staff at front desk. No coffee maker in room. Soap and body wash in bathroom smelled awful. Beds were comfortable.
- 4/5
So if you’re going here to avoid having to pay for breakfast out you might want to stay elsewhere. If you don’t care about breakfast, then this is a great place to stay.
- 5/5
Like it
- 2/5
The location wasn’t bad, it was right off the freeway, and 15 min from Flagstaff. The room didn’t appear dirty until we pulled the cushions off the coach; we found dirt and dog hair and the sheets looked dirty. When I booked the room it stated a walk in shower, but it was a bath tube. The bathroom door was broken and would not close.
- 5/5
It was close to gas stations, Mc Donald’s and easy on easy off the 40 freeway . Close to Flags staff .
- 4/5
The breakfast was excellent
- 5/5
The front desk agent that was there before turning it over to a remote help desk was very helpful. I never needed to use the remote operator so I can’t say how that was. The room was nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again.
- 0.5/5
They wouldn't let me change dates
- 3.5/5
The checking was horrible and the person checking people inn very hard to work with it was a remote check in won’t do it again
- 4.5/5
No pool.
- 4/5
It was well run with friendly staff. It was a little confusing at first because of location.overall was a great relaxing trip
- 4/5
nice
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. It appeared to be some construction going on around the outside of the hotel, so finding a place for our dog to go was a little hard, but, we made it work. Overall, we would recommend the Best Western.
- 3.5/5
Room was okay, breakfast was the same old thing, couldn't make pancakes, I don't like scrambled eggs that come from a bag. bed was okay not the most comfortable but okay.
- 2/5
Had to check in on a kiosk; no staff onsite. Seems like once the bed was made, they forgot about the rest of the room. Towels on the floor. No clean towels. Trash on the desk and in the trash can. Used soap bar/rag in the shower. Weak breakfast for $120!
- 5/5
My room was clean and I felt safe
- 1/5
Not great watered down eggs no fruit not the best we have ever had at your chain
- 4/5
Great place so a quick stop while travelling. The hotel is very new and clean and the staff are friendly. The complementary breakfast was great and there is a gas station/ convenience store right next door.
- 5/5
Great place, excellent hot showers, excellent breakfast, manager Sam goes out of his way for customers, very helpful-got early check in following by late check out, also gas station next door for snacks etc
- 3/5
OK with the stay, helpful staff, may need some renovation
- 3.5/5
The address given was incorrect so it was hard to find. There was no staff on in the evening.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
location and staff were good. Room door was hard to close and latch, sink faucet was falling off, shower controls backwards, shower door installed backwards leaks. Poor quality build.
- 3/5
The hotel check-in was a nightmare. There is no front desk just a kiosk to check-in. I helped the two people in front of me check-in because they were not able to do it without help. The key card dispenser broke on the person checking in before me. That caused a 20 minute delay in check-in as there was no on site staff in case of emergency.
- 4.5/5
I like all of it!
- 5/5
Wr had a lovely time. It was super clean and the workers were super nice.
- 1.5/5
It was clean Small rooms; poor lighting; not a single USB plug;walls were so thin you could hear the TV in the next room and the people in the hall; inadequate towel racks; no coffee in room;rooms too small for a chair other than a desk chair
- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
Not a fan of the check in process. Its a screem you talk to the host on. Hallways looked like they haven't been shampooed in awhile. Rooms were ok. Could use better cleaning service. There were multiple spots where we found dog food. Ice machines only on second floor. Not sure id recommend it
- 4/5
It was conveniently located for what we needed and the price was very reasonable. The rooms were clean and decently sized. Breakfast was free and decent. The staff was extremely friendly when they were available. It got the job done, but I didn't like the virtual check-in machine if you got there later in the evening. It was weird to talk to a person in a call center to check in. The soap in the bathroom was also located weirdly high on the wall and a bit difficult to use.
- 2/5
A virtual check in with a remote worker was available for check in. We didn't see any staff the whole evening. There was a line in the lobby waiting to talk with the remote worker. It didn't feel safe with no actual staff at the front desk monitoring who was coming and going. For breakfast, the yogurt and pancake machines were not working; limited items and no fresh fruit.
- 4/5
Clean Easy access from freeway and we actually had a nice view (!) Breakfast was underdimensioned (no place to sit when we visited) and mediocre quality
- 3/5
The cleanliness was a bit lacking.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean.
- 1/5
This hotel utilizes a remote kiosk operated by someone not at the hotel. Check in took 20 minutes because he couldn't figure out the computer system. Then once in my room- the TV didn't work because it was never programmed- and some stole the batteries out of the remote. I went to the kiosk for help and his only answer was to either switch rooms (which I declined) or wait until someone was available which would be in the morning. I went and bought my own batteries so I could attempt to program the TV and relax. I would avoid this hotel. I will not be staying again.
- 0.5/5
That that canceled my reservations didnt notify and booking.com has taken over 4 hours to approve my refund after talking to many representatives and getting hung up on.
- 2/5
Customer service is horrendous. Check-in is with a computer screen, like a Zoom call, after a certain hour, and takes forever. Our keys all quit working on the 2nd day, and we had to get new ones through the same slow process. Breakfast was limited due to broken machines. We received no cleaning service or towel replenishment during our 2-day stay in the rooms. There was no actual store for food and/or toiletry items as the webpage claimed. It was continually empty. The public restroom in the lobby remained locked at all times. We never even tried to use it, but I can't imagine there was any actual room service despite the webpage claims, due to the lack of employees. The 24-hour Pilot gas station store and McDonald's in an adjacent parking lot (walking distance) were the only saving grace for any food or personal item needs. The place was generally quite clean, and I slept well enough, but I would never book this place again, at least not for a multi-night stay. It's a pass-through hotel if you need something cheap, clean, and fast, just for a night's sleep and gas for your trip.
- 5/5
Didn’t have any. The kiosk at night when there are no staff and it goes to someone in India. I have literally bought houses in the length of time it took to check in.
- 1/5
This is not a review for an overnight stay because we never actually got to stay. We arrived at 9pm to check in to our room booked through Expedia. The front desk was attended VIRTUALLY by a young man on a screen at a kiosk. He informed us that our room had been given away and had no explanation, but did use the phrase “first come, first served.” He clearly did not understand the meaning of the word “reservation.” He wanted us to drive 30 minutes in the wrong direction of our trip to go to a “sister” hotel, which was not a Best Western. He did not offer to contact them on our behalf nor did he guarantee we would book at the same rate. Additionally , while I waited in line to check in, I witnessed guests checking in who were complaining that they were being overcharged compared to the price given at booking. It was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had.
- 4/5
Room was super clean! Breakfast was a bit disappointing since they didn’t offer most stuff only 20 minutes after 6 am. Bed was super comfy!
- 0.5/5
The price was the only good thing about this location. There NEEDS to be an actual person at the front desk. The virtual receptionist is slow, unhelpful, and just will not work. People waited over an hour to check into rooms, to find out the hotel did not have a room for them even though they have booked it in advance. People were locked out of their room because of key card malfunctions and were told they would not be able to get there belongings until the next day. Room keys were given to rooms that already had people staying. The online receptionist made this all extremely complicated with navigate and everyone trying to check in were extremely unsatisfied and many canceled their reservations. Completely unacceptable.
- 0.5/5
Being right off the interstate, but that’s it. We had to check in with a virtual kiosk. There was no one to assist actually in the hotel and it took so long. When we got to the rooms, they were NOT clean! The wash clothes were literally soiled and there was hair all over the floor. There was an old musty smell in the rooms. It was by far the worst hotel I have stayed in.
- 3/5
This is an existing hotel, they rebranded it as a Best Western. It’s had some effort to update it, but it’s pretty worn out and old. Stained bedding and towels. Breakfast was okay, but the pancake maker was broken the whole week we were there. Good value for what we paid overall, but definitely not as well maintained as we expected. The fact that no one is available in the evening/night at the front desk and they have a kiosk that you talk to someone who is remote is awkward.
- 4/5
Clean room, remote staff good.
- 0.5/5
Nothing. We didn’t stay I called in advance to check on parking. We showed up and the back parking lot was under construction. Absolutely no parking for my boat. My brother in law showed up an hour early and checked in. The man at the front desk let him check my children into a room they had no authority to check into. Complete different name than what was on the room. Because they already checked in and left to go shopping would not refund the room.
- 5/5
Didn't dislike anything
- 4/5
Yes, breakfast was good and Hotel was pet friendly with a $25 charge.
- 5/5
I was impressed by the 24‑hour front desk service. I spoke to a real person through a kiosk, which made checking in very convenient—especially since we arrived late in the evening. The hotel room was clean, although the water pressure was a bit slow. We still recommend this place if you are finding an accommodation nearby highway.
- 1/5
Within about two hours, we decided to check out because the room also smelled like old, dirty towels, and without the promised amenities the stay simply wasn’t worth it. When I checked out, I spoke with a virtual assistant who told me to call the next morning to request a refund. When I called, I was told the manager would call me back. I then received a call from someone with Best Western who instructed me to contact the front desk so they could issue the refund. However, when I called the front desk, they suddenly told me a refund could only be issued within 20 minutes of check-in, which was never mentioned before and contradicts what I was previously told. I was given the runaround multiple times and the manager did not follow up properly. Between the non-working amenities, the unpleasant smell, and the lack of customer service, I would not recommend staying here. Guests should be informed when major amenities like TV and internet are not available, especially when traveling with children.
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 2/5
I just asked two towels to the housekeeping staff but she was so rude and disrespectful. Overall impression for this hotel was disappointing.
- 2/5
Stayed for 3 nights and they served the same breakfast every day. No daily housekeeping so we used the towels for 4 days and keep the trashes inside your room. No amenities.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 3/5
There was no staff on site to help with check-in in the evening. We had to check-in through this machine that was controlled by someone off-site. They were not able to hear us clearly through the intercom. We specifically asked for a room that was not at the end of the hallway, but they assigned us a room that was at the end of the hallway. Given there was no staff on-site overnight, we did not feel safe. Most hotels have a chain door guard in each room for added security, but this was not present (especially when there was no on-site staff). The window of our room was not locked and we were given a room on the floor level. The TV was not working on the night we stayed. For breakfast, the pancake machine was broken. There wasn't enough milk for coffee, cereal, and oatmeal for everyone. There was also not enough fruits for everyone who wanted them. Overall, we did not have a good experience.
- 1/5
We went to check in and there was no one at the desk and we had to talk to a person in a box. They informed us that none of the tv's were working so i asked for a discount and they said no. Then they offered us a room at a hotel in a different city and we ok, so he gave us the address. We got back on the road and then found out that the address does not exist.
- 1/5
Check inn was terrible. No privacy no human available. All was through kiosk where everyone waiting to check in can hear my business. None of the amenities such as ice machine were working. No water or ice available after hours. Leandra was very helpful and trying to fix everything. Waffle machine not working. Fire alarm not working. There was no one to help during after hours.
- 5/5
Hotel is about 1-2 hours away from Grand Canyon and Antelope canyon. Great middle of distance point. Hotel is in a quiet and safe spot. Overall, pretty clean and there is a remote front desk who is always active for you. Never seen that before to be honest but it works. Would recommend the place again if had to come back. Across street from a gas station if need quick convenience. That’s it though. There isn’t a Walmart or target near the area or any local shopping areas. It’s pretty out there alone for the most part off the highway.
- 5/5
Daytime Front desk staff also serves breakfast efficiently. Kind of multi task -
- 1/5
We were greeted by a virtual clerk at 1am. There was nobody on site, just somebody on a Zoom call living in another country attempting to help us check in via a kiosk. They don’t have any overnight front desk staff. He told me to go behind the front desk & find my keys in a stack of keys. I got my keys, unloaded my luggage and my small children, only for the key to not work. After he was unable to get the key to work, he informed us they were sold out and he told us we needed to find a new accommodation to sleep at. We left the hotel at 2am with no place to sleep, after driving 8 hours. I will be avoiding all Best Westerns from now on. Incredibly disappointed.
- 1/5
The check in was handled by a kiosk out of the country. There was no staff on hand anywhere. There was a sign posted that the fire system wasn’t working, but again, no human on site to monitor. Several people attempting to register had to have multiple room keys made because the one issued by the kiosk was not working. The tv in the room didn’t work, we think the WiFi was turned off, but it was only 7:00 pm. There were towels and other amenities left at the end of the table in the breakfast area in case someone needs extras. The breakfast opened at 7:00 and by 8:00 everything was gone. This was not a pleasant experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 3/5
Had to check in on a kiosk…. I didn’t like that Also. I was next to a room with 2 dogs that barked from 6am to 8 am straight. Put ALL THE PETS ON ONE END OF HOTEL! All non pet people on the other end….. I should not have my stay ruined because some owner can’t keep their dogs quiet!!!! I consider that poor hotel mgmt!
- 3/5
Need a front desk person
- 1/5
The worst I have ever had. The talking head at check in spoke such broken English I could not understand him thanks God their were subtitles. I was supposed to have a king size bed I only had a queen. The heater in the room was so loud it woke me up every time it came on. Their was no one at the front desk or in the building to ask for help. The rooms have not been updated in at least 30 years. The breakfast was terrible they ran out of eggs 1/2 hour after opening and did not try to replace the. The toilet seat in my bathroom was broken. I will sleep in my car before I stay in another Best Western
- 1/5
Hair in towels. Dirty shower. Remote kiosk instead of front desk employees
- 4/5
Very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
I booked after reviewing previous customers' reviews now I think those are paid reviewers notes
- 1/5
Was informed 2 hours before check in that we had to make other arrangements due to water problems . Having to find hotel friendly at last minute.
- 4/5
I didnt like checking in via a kiosk but the room was nice.
- 3/5
The staff was lovely. The room was clean. The breakfast was great. My only issue is that there was no hot water when I checked in. I was not warned about this. I do wish to be compensated for the inconvenience as I was not able to shower on my trip.
- 5/5
It was clean, breakfast can be better. Overall was good experience

I recommend this great hotel just a few minutes west of flagstaff.
- 1/5
They didnt have any amenity ready in our room as soon as we walked in our room, and we let kiosk desk know that we dont have amenity, but they didnt give it to us until next morning, actully we have to let them know again, it was very frustrating and they didnt have hangers, just poor service, not recommend this hotel
- 5/5
cleanliness
- 2/5
Not a good place to stay. No one is able to help you after hours, they don’t have anyone on sight all virtu
- 2/5
Surprise additional fees, pet fee higher than advertised, internet didn’t work, fire alarms out of order. No staff available onsite other than in the morning, otherwise all managed via virtual kiosk. Apparently we were put in the room that was supposed to be saved for last even though there was probably only one other room in the entire hotel occupied and then moved rooms the second night.
- 5/5
Nice
- 2/5
The hotel appeared largely unoccupied, which added to an overall uncomfortable atmosphere. We also encountered an individual in common areas who did not appear to be guests, but without staff presence, this raised safety concerns. Our room had several cleanliness and maintenance issues. Multiple towels had visible stains and wear, and the bathtub/shower area had hair remaining, suggesting it had not been thoroughly cleaned. The heater unit made loud, disruptive noises when cycling on and off during the night. There was no drinking water for purchase, vending machines were empty or out of service, the lobby beverage area was not operational, and the ice machine (located in a laundry room) was broken. When we attempted to request assistance and a possible refund, the remote kiosk staff could not reach the on-site employee for an extended period, leaving us without support. Breakfast was listed starting at 6 but it was 7. We had to leave by 7. Won’t return .
- 1/5
Not safe environment. There was no staff or security present at night. The check in is all remote virtually done
- 1/5
No staff, Kiosk took a long time and was disingenuous. The entire first floor smelled like unwashed dog, and the elevator and lobby was covered in dog poop. The dog pooped in the elevator and spread it all over and trailed it in to the lobby. When i informed the kiosk they said they couldnt do anything. Hotel was dirty, smelled like marijuana and dirty dog. Very dirty, very disingenuous, no service.
- 1/5
Yes yes and yes... Was checked into two rooms that were totally unsatisfactory was checked into by a virtual person that wasn't even there his staff security guard had to help me out and the room I ended up in is somewhat satisfactory but would never ever ever stay here again
- 1/5
I wanted to leave early but got nothing for that. They refused my refund. Because they did that expedia said it is up to the peppery. which the property staff was disrespecting, racist and made my self care sooo trip HELLLLLL. PLEASE I BEG YOU DONT BOOK. also another member of the hotel was also very upset with staff. also if you check in after i believe 3:30pm there is NO STAFF ONLY A KIOSK!!!! so when i figured my fridge didn't work after my food was Luke warm, i had to wait till the morning. terrible i could cry just thinking about everything.

- 1/5
He first lied to us that our card was declined at Hotels.com and we had to purchase the room from the hotel -- only when I showed the Hotels.com app proving we paid did he suddenly change his tune. He tried to make 6 different keys for us, but every time the key didn't work, even when he changed the room. Then finally when we got a key that worked, he wouldn't make a 2nd key for us. He told us that a human would be arriving at 8pm who could help us, but no human was scheduled until 6am. The check-in took 30 full minutes... and then we had to help many other guests through the confusing procedure. Then when we finally got into the room -- the towels were very dirty and clearly not washed... and the WiFi didn't work. Breakfast was OK, but options were limited, and the items were not well stocked and machines not well maintained (eg the pancake batter was out). Be warned -- this is several levels lower service than we have ever received in a hotel.
- 2/5
There was NO staff. Check in was a kiosk, it was frustrating, I couldn’t understand the person and the reception was bad
- 3/5
no ice or snow removal. suoer dangerous

Quick and friendly check-in
- 2/5
I will say Breakfast was good, it was small but good. The location of the hotel is convenient, on and off the highway fast. But i dont see my family and my self staying again.
- 2/5
The walls are so thin in that hotel you can hear everything !!! So noisy
- 3/5
Room was small for what is described, it did have all of the amenities as described, the breakfast bar was far less than expected with eggs, sausage links, gallon milk, 3 choices of cereal and a self dispensing yogurt not what I expected. Room service is upon request. Just not what I expected a best western to be.
- 3/5
After we were in our room, late night the front desk sold our room to someone else, who walked in on us and was very scary. It was quickly resolved, but was unsettling to say the least. The walls were thin and all noises seemed to be magnified. The hotel looks new on the outside, but maybe had just been renovated instead. There was evidence of shoddy workmanship everywhere. Will not stay again.
- 5/5
Excellent. Staff was friendly, room was clean. Breakfast included. Good for families and close to Grand Canyon and Sedona.
- 5/5
There's a gas station nearby, a convenient location, easy parking, cozy rooms, and a good breakfast. I recommend it.
- 3/5
The staff were all very friendly. The beds were very uncomfortable, probably the worst I’ve slept on in a hotel. The ice bucket did not have a plastic liner and the lid had stuck on hair in it. The toilet paper holder was crooked so the toilet paper kept falling off onto the floor. I would book a room there again only if they had better beds.

- 2/5
They charged more than Expedia booking price!!! Room ceiling is leaking. Restroom sink counter is too small.
- 3/5
The hotel is located on on the opposite Side of roundabout, therefore, it is extremely difficult to access during rush-hour. It is in the same parking lot as a gas station, Cinnabon and McDonald’s. The staff here is extremely friendly, it is a very convenient way to not splurge and still be treated adequately. They definitely can improve the breakfast situation though.
- 5/5
Great clean room. Breakfast was lots and hot. Only thing missing is there is one restaurant close. McDonalds.

The building was becoming pretty run down, the fire alarms didn’t work(there was a sign on the door as a notice) which is concerning. The woman who checked me in was a remote worker and I had a hard time trying to understand her and was not very welcoming and didn’t seem too interested in me checking in, for how much I paid for the room I would think they’d have the ability to pay someone to work a graveyard shift and show some hospitality. Then when we got to our floor and there was some sort of alarm/beeping going off, but at least we couldn’t hear it in our room. For the money I spent for the room for the night I expected way better in the building and staff, but instead I got the experience of a cheap motel.
- 4/5
Very good experience. Very clean and nice. Just tiny rooms - this is why only 4 stars.
- 5/5
Front desk agent was very and accommodating. The room we had was perfect. Loved the walk-in shower, I hate climbing into a tub for a shower. Room was adequately sized and well thought out as far as getting the most functionality out of the space.

The check in was unique, as I was speaking through the kiosk with a live person. The room and location were exactly what I needed and met all my expectations. The room was comfortable and relaxing. I did have small issue in that my shower did not have any shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. I carry my own and at 530 am I doubt there was anyone available to "run them up to my room". As I said not a big issue. I checked in at approximately 11 pm and was up at 530 am. Great facility and location. I recommend this location for any one traveling through Flagstaff AZ on Hwy 40 in either direction.
- 5/5
Super quick check in and out. Comfy beds and enough towels, pillows ana blankets. Exceptional breakfast!! 10/10 recommend.

This hotel is NOT in flagstaff. It’s basically at a truck stop 16 miles outside Flagstaff. Other than that it was a clean nice hotel. .
- 2/5
If you like sleeping next to a loud truckstop with windows that aren’t insulated to prevent any of the noise then this place is for you.
- 5/5
Breakfast wasnt available until 7. I had to be on the road by 6:30.
- 5/5
Clean well lite lobby made this a positive experience.
- 5/5
Good service
- 1/5
The hotel was a construction zone and our room was dirty. There was hair all over the floor and the shower water pressure was terrible.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff friendly.
- 3/5
It was ok. Not much to say about my stay.
- 1/5
Young man at desk rude. Noisy. No shower gel or shampoo
- 5/5
It is a very nice hotel in every way but it is isolated from anything else. It is 10 miles from Flagstaff which is where the restaurants are located. Hopefully the area around the hotel will grow and have restaurants. We had to plan to find food before we returned to the hotel.
- 4/5
Clean room and comfortable bed. Staff was great.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable and great location.
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful.
- 3/5
Breakfast not worth it. Its a decent room at decent rate
- 5/5
The room and linens were clean. The bathroom was clean with no evidence of mold. The staff was very friendly. Felt safe there. The continental breakfast was not my favorite-not a fan of powdered eggs. It was very close to the Barefoot Trail, which was the reason we came up, so the location was great. Definitely would recommend.
- 5/5
We had a pleasant stay.
- 5/5
Large room and friendly staff
- 2/5
Then when requested the room be serviced, that was a joke. The towels were replaced, I think. Or maybe just folded and replaced. The trash emptied and that's all. The sink was not cleaned. I don't think anything was wiped or cleaned. I didn't expect the sheets to be changed, but I DID expect the bed to be tidied up and made, it was not. The breakfast provided was subpar. The sausage was not fully cooked and swimming in greasy water. The eggs were undercooked also. The juices were watered down. Breads were stale. This was not anything at its '"best." This was more like Motel 6.
- 5/5
Have stayed at this Best Western Hampton Inn 4 times, so far. I stay there because it breaks up a long drive. The staff is friendly, it is apparent. There is a Mcdonalds and a small store next door and gas. Quiet. Pet friendly. Outdoor patio. I could drive straight thru, but its quiet and the beds are great. Decor is nice. Worth the break in long drive. Worth the price.

Girl at the front desk needed more training. I had selected pay at hotel. I reserved the room with one card but when I got there decided to pay with a different card when they charged me they used the first card not the card I gave them when I got there to pay. They don’t clean rooms until after the 3rd day. Shower wasn’t very clean had brown stuff around the drain.
- 3/5
The handicap room was not equipped with a shower bench.
- 5/5
This place was clean and in a good location to access food, shopping nearby within a small radius. The staff is super friendly and so nice. Very welcoming.
- 5/5
Great!
- 4/5
Great staff and amenities.
- 2/5
For being as new as it is, the hotel’s front door was broken, my room a/c unit was loud and ran constantly, the tv was nice, but static ruined anything we tried to watch (it was on all channels). Breakfast was definitely the worst I’ve ever had at a Best Western. The desk person doubled as the breakfast attendant. She tried, but it just seems the hotel was not being kept up on a material level.
- 4/5
Good but hotel room layout not good
- 5/5
Great stay! A little in the middle of no where but safe, quiet, and clean. The breakfast was great. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed staying here and driving into the downtown area.
- 5/5
The staff here was extremely helpful and friendly. They made our stay quite comfortable.
- 4/5
The room layout was strange. No closet, but can clearly see where it was. Large area between the bed and TV, but super tiny bathroom, especially the sink vanity. Mirror by the door was not clean and either the room had been converted from smoking or guests have definitely smoked in the room, smoke smell. Clerks checking us in and out were very nice and helpful. Didn't eat breakfast, but the coffee was mostly water.
- 4/5
Nice property, 10 mins from Flagstaff
- 4/5
Staff was helpful
- 4/5
Stayed one night while moving across the country with my family. Guest laundry was accessible after 9pm cut off time, but came in super handy for us to catch up a bit. One negative is the standard 2 Queen bed room is pretty small, but works well for 1 night. And a big downside is the parking lot is TINY. While driving a U-Haul with a car being towed behind, parking was difficult. Luckily we are here during the week when it’s not busy, but I could see the parking lot filling up fast if it were a weekend.
- 4/5
Overall a decent stay for the price point. No complaints.
- 5/5
Clean , quiet. Ok breakfast. Excellent shower. Convenient location off interstate, and was still quiet.
- 5/5
Staff are great
- 4/5
No regular channels on the tv
- 4/5
The only thing amiss was the exterior of the building was rotting, literally. The wood trim was rotting. The fascia was rotting. It is clear that the material used is not appropriate for the climate and if they dont do maintenance soon water will infiltrate into the rooms.
- 5/5
Wow. Quiet location, clean and a great sunset view! Check in was super efficient.
- 5/5
Room was tiny but I really loved it!!! It was absolutely perfect for my one night stay!!
- 4/5
Noisy hotel. Had a dirty towel in my room. Low water or in shower. Good breakfast options.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Rooms were clean
- 5/5
Great place! Wished they had oj to rink instead of a mixture
- 5/5
Enjoyed my one night stay during a recent road trip to Sedona.
- 4/5
Nice property, very small rooms.
- 5/5
The front desk person was very fun and friendly.. Also very helpful..The wife and I had a nice stay for the night we were there.
- 5/5
Great young man on duty today check us in. Good personality and friendly. Would stay here again.
- 4/5
Remote area next to a Pilot
- 5/5
They were very informed and respectful about service dogs
- 5/5
Everything was very clean.
- 3/5
Trains honk horns every 30 mins through the night. Hard to sleep
- 3/5
The bathroom and room were a little small. The hotel was listed in Flagstaff but was 14 minutes back east on I40 from Flagstaff, which was frustrating as we were headed west. It was quiet, and breakfast was okay.
- 5/5
The front desk clerk was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good.

"I cannot recommend this hotel. My recent stay was marred by two significant and unacceptable issues. First, the side entrance and exit were dangerously icy and covered in snow, over 24 hours after the last snowfall. This blatant negligence resulted in my daughter slipping and falling, potentially causing injury. This is a serious safety hazard and reflects a complete disregard for guest safety. Hotels have a fundamental responsibility to maintain safe conditions, and this property failed miserably. Second, and equally shocking, was the complete lack of readily available drinking water. In a high desert environment like Northern AZ, access to hydration is crucial. This hotel restricted drinking water access to breakfast hours only, which is not only incredibly inconvenient but also potentially dangerous. Even budget motels offer basic water access, making this oversight completely unacceptable. The combination of dangerous conditions and the lack of basic amenities like drinking water made my stay extremely disappointing. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to consider alternative accommodations. This property clearly prioritizes profit over guest safety and comfort."
- 5/5
Very helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay & have no complaints! A
- 4/5
It might have been better but I was so miserable from my allergies because there was a cat walking around freely
- 5/5
Great service, especially the night clerk and breakfast administrator!
- 5/5
Nice quiet hotel with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a friendly staff.
- 4/5
Overall I enjoyed my stay at this location. The staff is very helpful.
- 5/5
Property was clean. Staff was helpful. Easy access to the freeway. It was clean and easy to find.
- 5/5
This hotel was a great find. My wife and I enjoyed a king size bed while our 13 and 7 year olds had a bunk bed. Breakfast was good and easy.
- 5/5
Good stay
- 5/5
The staff here is incredible! I could not have more great things to say about the service and people the Breakfast was great. It is next to a truck stop which is not an issue just a statement and it was a little farther from the restaurants and entertainment we came to Flagstaff for. We have very young kids so the travel time is still a factor for us. Otherwise the hotel and staff are wonderful.
- 5/5
Clean. Good Breakfast.
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 3/5
Easy access from freeway. The tv had poor signal. Didn't work half the time. 9am breakfast is over. At all the other breakfast in motels are until 10am. Nosey . The check in guy was so blah blah.
- 4/5
It was nice and clean
- 5/5
Loved this property between Downtown Flagstaff and Williams. Made it easy to explore the area. Breakfast was convenient. Staff was friendly. Room was really clean. Beds were comfortable. Has mini fridge and microwave. Subway and McDonalds are walking distance. Family and kid friendly.
- 5/5
It was 15 minutes outside of the city.
- 5/5
The young man at the front desk was the best!!! He showed great customer service and so polite and friendly.
- 5/5
We stopped on the way to family for Christmas. The staff was wonderful. The hotel was clean and quiet. on the way back it was the same excellent service. The staff remembered me when I checked in going home. They asked about my Christmas holiday with family. Overall a very pleasant experience.
- 5/5
Easy to get to. Price was good. Breakfast was decent. Would stay here again. Staff was really friendly.
- 5/5
The checkin was excellent. The clerk was extremely helpful.
- 3/5
The is a loud stay. Thin walls with the bed against neighbors TV, train sounds all night. Bring your eat plugs.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
The staff was friendly but the room didn’t have a closet to hang clothes or an iron and board. The heater on one side worked the other was cold air.
- 4/5
Clean rooms and very professional and nice personal
- 5/5
Check was nice and easy. Room was very clean and comfortable, this will be my go to hotel when we are in town!!
- 3/5
OK hotel. Little outdated but check in was fast. They did leave a little unclean as their was a pubic hair left from on a napkin container in the bathroom.
- 5/5
We booked a king with the bunk beds and it was a very large room. Great for families. Staff was very friendly. Only negative was the road noise and train noise. Otherwise it was great.
- 5/5
Clean and quiet
- 3/5
The hotel was okay.
- 5/5
Very very clean. The hotel room was very clean, bed super comfy. Breakfast was good
- 5/5
Property was close to Flagstaff, quiet, clean, and comfortable.
- 5/5
It’s an older smaller building but worked out for us.
- 3/5
The service peope where not so friendly
- 5/5
Clean quiet staff friendly
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and the host was very helpful and trustworthy. The in-house breakfast was limited but adequate. The only problem was there is only a McDonald's and a Subway nearby. But if you don't need food, the place is a great to stay! 30 min. from Lowell Obs. and 20 min from Williams.
- 5/5
Lack of decent eating choices but that's not the hotel's fault.
- 5/5
An excellent hotel with clean and big room. Breakfast is great!
- 4/5
Good stay for price. Not a lot of grass for dogs to use the bathroom.
- 5/5
Very clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
- 5/5
Visiting family nearby, very convenient. Staff were really great
- 5/5
Cute and serviceable mountain type motel. A bit dated building overall, but kitschy, comfortable, and accommodating. Staff very nice.
- 5/5
Limited stations in tube.
- 5/5
Clean hotel and at a reasonable price.
- 3/5
Old hotel that had some renos done to it. Nothing special but on it's own ok. Breakfast area was what really solidified the low rating. The entire counter had crumbs or coffee stains everywhere, the eggs + sausage were sitting in water. Multiple items ran out before being restocked. Would have been nice to have a high chair for the little one, but we managed without. Not a terrible hotel, but definitely below what you expect with a Best Western
- 5/5
Front desk, recommended good family owned restaurant (6 miles away). Overall experience, well done.
- 3/5
The room was tiny and someone used new soap and there was trash in trash can. It did the job but could have been better.
- 5/5
Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the breakfast service. It was the worse Best Western breakfast I have seen and had. They were out of a lot of things. Also, it was repeat of options every morning. There were no fresh fruits the whole time. The lady who took care of the are was not very friendly and cleaned things up before time was up, and didn’t ask if we wanted anything before she took things away! She was grabbing things while my mom was standing in front of them. It was disappointing, that we ended up grabbing breakfast somewhere else, we have never done that before.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean and comfortable. There isn’t much in the area but there is a McDonald’s and service station right across the parking lot.
- 5/5
Very cute, clean, felt like home. Quiet area.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 2/5
We stayed for 4 nights and our room was not cleaned one time. We called the front desk 3 separate times to make sure our room was cleaned and it never was. We had to beg some maintenance guy for clean towels on day 3.
- 1/5
Opinion remains the same they did not want To pay me back for the day I had to leave And I told them ahead of the 24 hour rule.
- 4/5
Personnel was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet
