Reviews
Many guests were disappointed with their stay at the hotel, citing issues with closed or non-functioning elevators, unclean rooms, and poor customer service. Some guests did appreciate the convenient location and friendly staff, but overall, the negative experiences outweighed the positives.

Hotel was closed for renovations after driving 11hours to get there

The property was closed when we arrived there. There was a sign that was posted that said it was under construction and closed. We were never notified of the closure and we had to scramble to find alternative accomodations.

Place was nice, been there 3 times The facts that no one help me since I was with walker going up and down the stairs, lefty shoe and didn't get any help from any of the receptionists spoked to 3 different ones and no one help me, will never come back to this hotel after 4 calls for help, have to drive back to this hotel and Pablo was the only one that check my room for me 207.

We reserved a 1King room advertised as an executive room but when we checked into the hotel and went to our room, it was not the room that we selected on line. He asked the receptionist to change our room to the room that we selected & paid for but we were not accommodated. We were traveling from out of town so changing hotels wasn’t a option for us.
- 1/5
The wait to check-in was over an hour due to systems being down. The lobby was beautiful until I walked to the elevator. One elevator was down. The wall paper on the walls in the hallways was coming off the walls. The room was terrible. The sheets had stains on them and the television wasn’t working well. The bathroom was old and needed to be renovated. The pictures made this hotel look nice but in person it’s horrible. Don’t stay unless it’s a quick trip.
- 1/5
We arrived for a 300pm checkin. We had a wedding next door at 400. There was two people at the counter and two people checking in and we waited 50 minutes to be helped. I still had to get dressed for the wedding so I got dressed in the bathroom lobby and went to the Marriott next door.
- 3/5
The room was aged but the beds and linens seemed clean and were cozy…our heat worked well and the water was warm - all very pleasurable and needed for good rest. No microwaves in the room. There was only one in the lobby and the night shift desk worker did not make it easy for us to use with condescending tones (my daughter is a swimmer and needed to warm up breakfast)…the 2 elevators that work were very run down and had duct tape holding the floor lights in place - the third was out of order. The nice part was the allowance of an early check in and late check out - super needed for my busy swimmer
- 2/5
There was no room service, there was Flies in breakfast room, the breads had fungus, the staff was rude, the restaurant and bar was closed. Overall i had a bad experience. I have never had a experience like this in my entire travel life :(
- 1/5
The check-in took an hour and a half. Computers down, chip reader not working, or some other excuses. There were 6 people in front of us when we showed up and only one attendant. When we finally checked in, the room was gross. Stains on the sheets, sticky floor, broken towel rack and very run-down room. Breakfast seemed nice the first day, but the second day looked like leftovers from the first day. Overall, very un-Wyndham-like.
- 1/5
check in time is bad time

The property is near i-95, which is convenient
- 5/5
My stay was great
- 1/5
My room was full of all kinds of bugs. I keep killing them. This is not a good stay
- 1/5
The property had insects, the front desk was quick to change us the room but honestly, this huge insect was big enough to be noticed from the entrance door. We found another later at night after we were settled. One of the kids were sick after they saw it. I will never comeback. It’s really not ok.
- 1/5
2 of the 3 elevators were out of service and the one that was working had duct tape on the floor indicator light, no sensor so it closed no matter what, even when someone was trying to get off; and the inspection was severely outdated (last inspected 6 months ago in April 2022). The room’s heat was on super high at 85 degrees right when we walked in when it was 70 degrees outside, there were no face/body towels, or hand soap; and when I went to the front desk for those items the lady gave me 4 body towels and said they were out of face towels. We literally had to wash up with huge body towels. Oh and the cord for the bedside lamp ran across the center of the room to the outlet by the window so I had to step over it each time to get to my side of the bed. This was the absolute worst hotel experience I’ve had in my life. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
- 3/5
The condition of the property needed remodeling. Broken elevator, and fixture..room carpet smell, the cleaners left somebody used washcloth behind from customers..plus side bed really comfy.
- 3/5
Property is old and dated. Carpets need a deep clean. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Check in took over one hour, the systems were down. The receptionist stated this happens often. After a long day of travel, waiting over one hour for check in was extremely frustrating.
- 2/5
No drinking water available without paying. No room service to make beds on daily basis probably due to COVID procedure, A cheap toy like iron was available. What quality does Wyndham offer?
- 2/5
Someone already told me that hotels put people of color close to the elevator and staircases where there are more noise and I have experienced that over and over again
- 2/5
The bed was comfortable.
- 4/5
Checking in took 45 min
- 1/5
Checkin took forever as they had issues with the internet. Front desk service later was very rude.
- 4/5
Overall the properly was fine but had issues with the elevators and mold in the bathroom.
- 5/5
Amazingly good for a Wyndham hotel.
- 4/5
Staff friendly. Rooms needs to be updated with more lighting.
- 4/5
Convenient location. The area is visually pleasing, hotel room is nice and the restaurant within is tasty!
- 4/5
I was disappointed that there was no fridge or microwave in the room. I had called the hotel before I confirmed my reservations with Hotels.com and was told these items will be in the room. I’m on a medication that has to be stored in the fridge - the reason for my disappointment. We also had no wash clothes in the bathroom. The hotel/ room was clean and averaged comfortable. Please fix your ice machines.
- 1/5
We booked a King size bed and we were told the hotel was sold out when in fact there was no one there. They gave us a room next to a elevator that made a horrible noise all night long and made it impossible to sleep. I would never recommend or stay here again. It was a frequent visiting place for us to see family.
- 4/5
Good place I like it
- 2/5
The elevator doors closed hard whether someone was in the door or not. I saw a toddler get separated from her grandmother because of it. There was duct tape inside of the elevator.
- 1/5
It even appeared to have a smell. There was chipped paint and dust everywhere. Machine In the hallway that appeared to have been providing some type of service due to water damage. In all, it was not safe to Stay in the room due to my allergies and asthma. I expressed, my concern and my ram was changed and it wasn't any better. So, we wanted to cancel from the first room but hotel.com's number wasnt available at the time , I wanted to express my concern of not being satisfied especially with the price. I'm just shocked, I experienced this and I am a requestine a full refund. The frontdesk staff was helpful and understandable. . They asked for me to contact the 3rd Party and to speak with them to discuss Cancellation. . .. 1. told them that I it was an issue w/ trying to call hotel.com. they provided a number and it was the wrong one to discuss the issues due to the hotel Showing rsvp were made through Expedia. It was a lot and becoming too stressful.
- 1/5
Our rooms were horrible. The floors were wet. The shower/tub was filthy, the little shampoos were half full, there was no refrig or hairdryer (which it said it had). I could not believe that this was a Wyndham and that we paid what we did. They gave us half of our room fee back but it should have been free. do not stay until they renovate the entire hotel.
- 1/5
Terrible experience. Came to check in and front desk staff told me that there were no more rooms despite the fact that I had a reservation from 2 nights prior. I had to settle for a single full sized bed room with 4 travelers. 2 out of the 3 elevators were out of service, and the one that worked almost killed us, parts inside of it were duck taped in place, pool was out of service, phones didn’t work, only 2 towels in a room for 4 people and when I requested more, it never came. Just awful experience all around. Would not recommend.
- 3/5
The place was poorly cleaned and seamed disorganized.
- 1/5
I never have such a terrible experience and I had to tow my car and had to replace two tires. Stay away from this hotel please.
- 4/5
Just friends that’s all
- 3/5
The luggage cart had 2
- 2/5
Fine if you are just looking for a place to crash after a long drive. The beds were comfortable, but that is about it. Service was bad, room had wet spots on the floor and crumbling ceiling. There was not fridge in the room or trash cans. There were exposed wires in the bathroom and lighting around the room with no outlets to plug into.
- 3/5
Despite our accomodations not being available at check in due to overbooking i guess, i would like to mention that the front desk clerk was very pleasant and willing to help.
- 1/5
The property was filthy
- 3/5
Staff is accommodating. But, hotel needs refurbishing. As soon as you enter the lobby, it smells. ( And I was wearing a mask.)
- 1/5
The WiFi was out and they didn't tell me until after I checked in. Then when it was finally "fixed", it was extremely slow.; There was only baggage cart for the entire hotel. Good luck accessing it when you need it. And if you order food, the front desk doesn't allow them to deliver it to your room AND they won't let them leave it at the front desk. Even after telling them I was recovering from surgery, they still made me come downstairs to pick up food and made the delivery driver wait for me.
- 4/5
Hotel had swimming pool listed but it was closed . Wish they remove that online and inform this before someone books . No free breakfasts , but it’s fine . Most of the hotels done provide free BF these days . Hotel looked clean and most of the employees were following covid guidelines . Nice parking outside . Lots of other restaurants nearby . Overall a very good experience… 👍👍👍
- 2/5
Hotel is under renovation, don't stay here until it's completed. You are better off sleeping in your car. Filthy rooms only cleaned every 3 days. Carpet badly stained. Was a Sheraton now switching to Wyndham. Don't stay until they truly become a Wyndham.
- 2/5
The room was dirty. Trash in the back of the desk and bathroom was not in good condition.
- 1/5
Staff are horrible.
- 4/5
Long delay with check-in but overall, stay was ok
- 2/5
This place is worn out. No refrigerator in the room and only a few floors supposedly had working ice machines. I was informed that the higher floors (not given to the riff raff who use expedia) have some refrigerators. Overall sketchy experience, though there is tons of parking in a seemingly abandoned office building complex.
- 1/5
Carpets were not clean, the room had a moldy smell to it. There was an elevator on the property that was extremely dangerous, closed very quickly and would not stop if a child was standing in the middle.
- 3/5
No internet the entire time we were there. No one offered a discount
- 1/5
The front desk waited until I fully checked in to tell me that there was no WiFi. It's out, and they don't know when it'll be back. There is only one (barely working) luggage cart for the entire hotel. They also do not allow food delivery to your room. You have to leave your room and go downstairs to get it, even if you are disabled. Complaints go unresolved. The front desk is no help, and their phone/Internet support just refers you back to the front desk.
- 1/5
Bath was dirty, soap scum, peeling ceilings, advertised that it had an on-site restaurant and offered room service. NONE WAS TRUE. And I didn’t rent a car because of this . Had to walk to get food or overpay with Uber eats
- 1/5
first thing upon check in there was 1 receptionist behind the desk at 1am, everyone was checking in due to the holiday weekend about 6 people was trying to check in while it was 1 worker who was being over worked while her supervisor watched her drown with work then decides to help the lady 30 minutes after the system being down and the line beginning to form longer. not to mention there had been a major storm which made people check in so late everyone was tired and aggravated. finally after 1 hour of standing on line we got to check in.. The elevators at this hotel is a BIG danger it suddenly closes without warning and when someone is in the door the elevator door still wont open. Also I stayed at many hotels and never heard of there being no room service till you check out. couldn't get new towels or sheets due to housekeeping only being able to service your room AFTER you leave.. Also being said during the day it was a very rude lady who wasn't so pleasant. And lastly this hotel was crowded there was parties in rooms which caused fights and disruption in the late night.
- 3/5
Not the cleanest. The area was fine and parking was easy. It is supposed to be non smoking property but we smelled smoke coming in from bathroom vent. It was okay for a 2 day stay
- 1/5
Unable to check in, computer problems
- 3/5
Staff was pleasant and helpful. The condition of the property seemed more distressed than one would expect, though not quite "run-down". A lot of repairs are needed. The first room we were given smell d a lot like cigarette smoke, even though the is listed as a no smoking property, though they were able to move us without too much hassle.
- 5/5
Good place
- 1/5
I stayed a week in that property and it was an awful experience. My room has never been cleaned because the hotel has no housekeeping / room cleaning service. No towels replacement in a week, no soap in the toilets. Moreover reception staff were not friendly and welcoming at all. I had to wait more than an hour for them to find me a room. This was not a great experience at all.
- 3/5
Lawn hasn't been cut in months. Trees & shrubs overgrown. Trash all over on ground,
- 2/5
Would not stay again.
- 1/5
Showed up at midnight to find out there were no rooms despite having a reservation. Their suggestion was to cancel the reservation, no help getting us a room somewhere else ... I had specifically called to confirm everything before our 3.5 hour drive there. There were 4 others in similar situation in the lobby with us. Unacceptable. Very run down propert, you can tell it was nice at some point. surprised wyndham would put their name on this.
- 1/5
The service at the hotel was very poor with rude kitchen staff. The breakfast is below normal and the room quality including the bed is very poorly maintained. We booked in this hotel for 4 days with very bad experience. Even the maintenance service for room cleaning are not available even with all information at front desk
- 1/5
Well the room was prepaid so that I could get rest after an 18 hour day before having to return to work there was no room available when I went to check in. When I asked the desk how this happened they just shrugged and said they had no answers. What is the point of reserving a room and pre-paying if you can’t actually stay in the room when you need to. Instead I was forced to drive while fatigued an extra two hours to my final destination.
- 5/5
Check-in was quick and very simple. The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. We'll be back.
- 1/5
After 8 hours drive my family and I came to to hotel to check in and we were told that our room was sold. Even though everything was paid in advance, the front desk lady told us she was sorry and no accommodations were possible.
- 1/5
We did not stay because the hotel was fully booked. They did not honor the reservation
- 2/5
The property is run down. Lobby has leaky ceilings and just very subpar. Some of the front desk staff should not be working in customer service. Very rude and short with people.
- 4/5
Good stay. Some confusion at check-in but it was quickly fixed. Rooms could use some fixing but nice overall. Parking was convenient. Stay were friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
Hotel was over booked and couldn’t get a room, so never checked in
- 1/5
We didn’t even stay here. When we were suppose to check -in. We saw a line of people at 11pm saying they had been there since 9pm waiting for a room or better service because the hotel had decided to do a first come first serve basis and overbooked the hotels. They only had suites available and were overcharging the prior patrons that were ahead of us to have a room. They would not offer refunds for an error that was made done by them. The front desk folks were dealing with the patrons and the manager refused to show up. Unprofessional business management. I would strongly recommend to remove this hotel from these websites.
- 1/5
I stayed with this hotel which is now run down since management switched from the Sheraton. I booked a stay for 3 days and 2 nights and was met with bed bugs and I have the bed bug bites to prove. Such an inconvenience especially due to the stay being for a well-rested night for the end of a travel contract. I never would’ve thought I would experience this especially from the well-to-do establishment from before. But please take my advice and note there are way more other options available than this hotel. Please for your safety and your family’s book your stay somewhere else. If you find yourself in this situation notify them like I did hopefully they will get that this issue is a health matter to their guests. Please do not expect returned compensation from this either when I called and informed them they told me management will be downstairs to talk to about it. I even brought the mite/bug down in a cup to the front desk and informed we were leaving and their remedy was to book us to the room next door to ours. And not to mention management was no where to be found when we got down there only the front desk attendant who was nice but the experience was atrocious. Never again!
- 2/5
The room reeked of mothballs, the sink was super clogged & took FOREVER to drain, and the staff wasn’t very friendly. And it was weird that they were just hanging around the hotel, talking to each other like they didn’t have anything to do. They wouldn’t provide a receipt at checkout and I’ve called to request one a few times. I still don’t have a receipt.
- 5/5
It was good to say the least. Adio was very professional and handled every need that I asked during my stay. The cleaning staff however… HORRIBLE. Not once did they give me clean towels like I asked nor did they service my room on my 3day stay as I asked them TWICE ( 2 housekeepers ) and once at the FRONT DESK before i left out of the property. I came back 6+ hours later to my room being the same as I left. Very displeased with that beings as though we’re STILL dealing with a pandemic here in the area. But overall.., I enjoyed my stay.
- 1/5
When I arrived to the Wyndham College Park in Beltsville, I was told quite unapologetically that the hotel had overbooked and they would now have to check on availability. After over 40 minutes of waiting, I was given a room (two double beds instead of a reserved King) but was then told that I had to pay, even though I kept showing them my paid confirmation from Hotels.com. They insisted that the credit card did not match the reservation and that it was merely a reservation not yet paid. They urged me to pay it and take it up with the morning staff, since the manager would be there. Since it was past 2 am, I paid. In the morning, I showed the new staff my double charge/payment which I confirmed through my credit card. The manager was no where to be contacted, I learned. The staff member said that I would have to take this up with Hotels.com - that they would not be able to make direct communication on my behalf. Because I had traveled to spend Mother's Day with my mother, I didn't want to waste anymore of my limited time arguing with the "guaranteed reservation" that was not honored, nor the paid room which was not recognized. It was a very frustrating experience - with so many hotels in the area, I will not be staying here again.
- 3/5
All the rooms around me were serviced, but mine (609).
- 1/5
Just Horrible. Staff undermanned and under trained. Hotel not maintained. No Cable . Loud Ac . Paint peeling . Nothing like photos. Elevator license expired . Dim hallway. Ice machine out of order . Just all around terrible.
- 1/5
My TV didn’t work all weekend, my check in was wrong the staff had poor customer service
- 3/5
Overall, the hotel was clean and the staff was helpful and pleasant. However, there was no coffee maker in our room, and the TV wasn't working. When we checked in (at close to midnight on a Friday) there was a backup of at least 4-5 parties waiting to check in before us, and the computers were running very slow. The staff was very apologetic and friendly, but clearly this property needs some upgrades and attention. Still, it was a clean, mostly comfortable, affordable place to stay that was convenient for us.
- 4/5
I like the space in the room
- 3/5
It took 45 minutes to check in because the computer system was down.
- 1/5
It’s states daily house keeping that’s a lie they stated because of COVID they clean the rooms every 3 days. Meaning for 3 days they don’t bring you towels toilet paper or change atleast the garbage. Then when I called for towels they stated I could go down and get some myself. There’s no bar !!! I would give it - 0 if I could

😁
- 3/5
The Expedia price was more than the hotel's website price, which I only discovered right after I purchased. Ugh! Property is clean but really could use updating. Carpets are not in good condition and bathrooms look like 1995-ish. Televisions are big, but use some kind of hybrid antenna/cable set up, so channels are limited with lots of fuzz in between the channels. The rooms do have small microwaves and coffemakers, which is nice. Coffee in lobby is lukewarm, apparently on purpose (!). Absolutely insufficient staff at all in the evenings and only one person was working the entire hotel after 9p. No engineer, no housekeeping, nada. I requested a hypoallergenic pillow and was told there were none. AMC theater is across the parking lot and CVS, fast food, and grocery are across the street.
- 2/5
Dirty: Two members of my family suffer from a dust-mite allergy, and their reaction was bad because the room was bad: dusty, had not seen house-keeping, open coffee supplies, clothes previous guests still in the room. We contacted Expedia even at the beginning of the night and the Expedia Virtual Agent wasn’t helpful.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly staff, great breakfast.
- 4/5
My first issue was the hotel not finding the confirmations for either room. They only had one person on Front Desk and the poor guy was handling about 67 check ins all alone. I Booked because the search said connecting rooms available on the listing, but once I contacted they hotel, they didn't have any. Leaving all this craziness aside, the hotel was actually not bad at all. Check in at location went relatively fine (they still couldn't locate my 2 rooms reservation) but it was solved quickly. The rooms were clean. The beds were really comfortable and the showers had really good water pressure. The location wasn't bad either. Definitely good value for my stay.
- 1/5
No TV even after complaining 3 times, No one ever brought us clean towels even after asking
- 1/5
Heat did not work and it was a 30 degree night. Sleeping in the cold air was rough. At about 5am we called to complain and got moved to another room. Property is not in conditions. Staff seemed concerned but only the person in duty in the morning took any action.
- 1/5
Poor condition. We had to wait on a half hour line to check in. Hotel dated. Not as pictured
- 3/5
Good location but it really needs an update in everything . Even the tv service its bad

Horrible horrible service

I arrived and checked in; or so I thought! The next morning I went to check out only to find the “night auditor” had charged my card (the card used for incidentals) for a no show fee! I showed her my prepaid reservation and the room key. That she shouldn’t have done that. She kept pushing the blame off on the previous shift that he didn’t check me in correctly. Even if that were true my room was already prepaid! No apology, no receipt or anything! Just sent on my way with “I’ll fix it, can’t get you a receipt right now.” After 5 days I received a partial refund so I contacted the hotel to get her back. She tried to explain the same thing that the previous shift messed up. Yes I understand that but it doesn’t explain why I’m not getting a full refund. She kept repeating the fact that the guy messed up as it was a reason, she refused to listen that only a portion was credited back and that she could have made a mistake then she hung up on me when I asked for a manager. I called hotels.com, they spoke to her and said since she charged my card on one day and refunded on a different day the refund will come back in “installments” but she had refunded the entire amount on that day. They want me to believe my credit card is processing the refund in phases. Still no receipt!

great
- 4/5
It was a pleasant check in. Room had hair all over it like it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned or the housekeeper hair was shedding all over the room. Toilet, tub, sink, counters. The refrigerator made a noise all night and the toilet was running non stop. It was an ok stay but I won’t stay in that room again. I’ve had better rooms here!
- 2/5
The staff is very rude the elevators never work house keeping just opens your room without knocking
- 5/5
Overall a nice hotel, but for some strange reason. My room had alot of lady bugs on the AC and near the window. Im told they are Good Luck so i didn't mind.
- 1/5
The losers at the front desk were the WORST!! Someone stole my credit card number. DON'T TRUST THESE LIARS!!!
- 1/5
The one room that I booked that was never cleaned still wasn’t when I returned later that evening so they moved us to another room which was still filthy. At this point it was after midnight and I had my WEDDING that I needed to get at least some sleep for. Since one of the rooms had biohazards, my bridesmaids had to take the mattress off the broken pullout, and sleep on the FLOOR.
- 1/5
Asked for a roll in bed , got denied rudely
- 1/5
Poor service lack of towels and wash rags they had something in there bed that was biting I believe it was bed bugs from how many times I was bitten they should call a exterminator asap
- 4/5
Good place if you just want to lay your head somewhere. Big hotel that just needs a remodel
