Clean room

The rooms were so bad. The entire hotel is not what it shows on the pictures it’s bad and I had to switch rooms because of the horrible smell, it was some kind of mold smell so horrible we had to move to a different room we when to 3 different rooms to find one that wasn’t as bad, the restroom was clean but the shower had no water pressure. The staff were very nice but unfortunately the hotel is not good it needs a lot of work and the pictures are deceiving

My only complaint was the smell. When I got off the elevator on 2nd floor it smelled like someone had been cooking Indian food. My room smelled good until the end of the 2nd day, then it had a faint smell like someone had had a pet that may have urinated in it. The hall smelled nice after cleaning but the nice smell wore off by early evening. Other than that everything was great .

I was not there for the amenities or the breakfast (I arrived late and left early). I needed a clean, inexpensive place to sleep and this location fulfilled that need. I did not have to deal with a lot of disturbances or concerns about uncleanliness, so I got a restful night's sleep.

Place was ok. Walls are thin. People playing loud music. Had a really early morning checkout and I had to call to get someone to the front desk to check out.

Pluses: location was easy to find and being so close to Benbrook had everything we needed the next day.

I had to clean the pool because there were a bunch of trash and bugs in it. The ac was loud as heck and the blinds wouldn’t close all the way.

Rooms are newly renovated and were comfortable. Room smelles ckean, aircon worked but dud not go below 68F. Soap and lotion provided, no shampoo or conditioner. Common spaces are a but dated, but functional. Did not use the pool. Breakfast is basic (as expected at cheaper hotels)-strong coffee, juic, bread, small muffins, apples, hot sausage patties,egg turnovers, yoghurt, instant oatmeal.

The facility was nice! The staff were wonderful! I actually came down from Arkansas to stay a few days due to my stepdad who lives local, having a heart attack. They were nice enough to give us a room on the bottom floor so we wouldn’t have to move our stepdad much once he was released. The only thing I did not like was the room. The room itself was perfect! The location of the room 0/10! There is a door right next to the room (120) that leads to the stairs and EVERYTIME someone closed the door, it slams and you can hear it all through the day and night and it’s like it shakes the room. Plus you can hear every foot step taken on the stairs. I got woken up so many time throughout the night.

Customer service made things even worse. The front desk worker was extremely rude, often not available at the desk, and dismissive when concerns were reported. At one point we were told, “it’s not our problem,” which is shocking to hear as a paying guest. Fresh sheets were only offered the first night. There were more bug issues the second night, and no meaningful solutions were offered despite the ongoing concerns. We were told that changing rooms would require paying an additional charge for a different room type, even though the issues were caused by the poor condition of the original room. The stay became so uncomfortable that we chose to check out early and move to a better property rather than remain another night. I would not recommend this property to anyone and would never stay here again

Plenty of well lit parking. When directv would not work they quickly fixed it. Building os super old and in need of reno. Bed was great and quiet. Breakfast sparse but free.

If you are stock showing at Fort Worth then this is the perfect place to stay. We stayed during the last ice/snow storm when everyone else was staying home and we were able to get back and forth to the gilt show just fine.

On departure, a couple were in the lobby who were dressing and seemed to be intoxicated.

I stayed here for a few days to attend a seminar. I think this room is not fancy, but it's clean, comfortable, and convenient for grabbing a meal. I recommend it for those on a short business trip at a reasonable price.

My search criteria was ev charger only. The j plug from "universal ev" was horrible, kept stop charging, swapped plugs with same result. $.48 a kw is super charger rates and in the end woke up to %15 charge. So incredibly irritating, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

This was obviously an older hotel (cracks in the sink, seat back was torn) but it was clean and quiet, the tv and internet were good, and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is in poor shape, patch work on walls, floors, bathrooms. EV charger was offline.

Well I’ll start by saying from the outside I was very shocked that it looked so poorly. But the lobby was clean and nice. Once getting to my room the window was fully open! No screen behind it or anything. The room was dirty. Hair all and marks all over the bathroom door. What looked to be fecal matter smeared on the frame. Half the lamps were broken. The door does not reach the ground so you can see under it form the hall way and hear everything. Would not recommend

We stayed for 3 nights. Our family of 5 stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Rooms very spacious. Smelled nice. Room was clean. My only complaint is that the breakfast was a lil off. They had some variety but it was the same eggs, sausage, and biscuits every morning. The biscuits were hard and the eggs and sausage kinda rubbery. We just opted for the cereal and oatmeal. We didn’t try the pool as it was cold out. Very quiet area with a train that passed a few times. Enjoyed the stay for the price it was great!

This time wasn't so great ,but I will stay again. The bathroom was not properly cleaned and had hair in tub. Room smelled wet and moldy. The bed was comfortable but also had hair on sheets. I used my disposable sheets . There was no cover for pull out bed ,but I'm sure if asked they will provide. Breakfast was sausage egg biscuit your gut and cereal. The front desk is helpful and very polite.

For needing a last minute place to stay after air bnb messed us over. This place was incredible, nice and clean and good staff. Had a problem where our sink got clogged on the 2nd day and they took a look and turns out it was a plumbing problem so the graciously called my right away and let me know the situation. They kindly moved us rooms for the remainder of our stay with no up charge. Overall would highly recommend this place if your looking for good affordable and smoke free accommodations.

I woke up at 2am to a cockroach crawling on me... I couldn't fall back asleep after this. The humidity made everything feel wet and sticky.

If you dislike strong smells it strongly smells like Indian food throughout the hotel. Suspicious persons in parking lot. A/c didn’t work in room. When we found out it was too late to ask to change rooms as it was 2am.

Everything was great no complaints

Linens were soiled on both beds; one was threadbare; elevator was HEAVILY PERFUMED and it was difficult to breathe. facilities were unkempt, dirty and overall, uncomfortable lodging. Spoke to management but they have failed to respond in spite of three attempts.

We were just passing through. Our check in was simple and our room was lovely. I did book here for the breakfast as we were needing to eat and run, but the breakfast was inedible.

Everything was wonderful! My only complaint is the overwhelming smell of curry…which I love…I just don’t want to smell like it when I leave. The beds are super comfy with good pillows. Great water pressure! Everyone friendly, especially the man that checked us in!

Staff is awful! There is a lady overnight who was really sweet but both guys during the morning and day are hateful, rude and just the worst.

Nice stay

I detected a faint smell of smoke in the room and my grandsons said the pool was not very clean. Also morning buffet was not that good. Only creamer was powder. Just minor issues but the hotel received one of the highest ratings which I am not sure it deserved. A good rating is probably more accurate.

Good basic place to stay. Beds were great. Not enough electric outlets close to bed for phones or medical equipment. Breakfast is ok, but no fruit and juice machine was broken. Not a lot of options, but Cracker Barrel is across the driveway is a plus. Staff was very friendly.

This place has potential but you can tell management is cutting corners. Blankets werent comfortable. Only offered shampoo. Made to wait for breakfast and when it was offered it was cold, which management stated, warm it up in the microwave its complimentary. Its the little things that make a stay freat.

We checked in at 10pm and went to our room. There were people IN THE ROOM IN BED! They had given our room to someone else. You can imagine our surprise and their's when I keyed into what I thought was our room. I reached out to management and never heard anything back.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was a bit loud at night but overall a good experience for the price point.

Has potential but needs work. Comforter has burn hole in it. No place to hang clothes. Noticeable damage in room that hasn’t been repaired. Mold in shower. While it looks like they tried to update bathroom, the work was poorly done. AC unit sounds like jet plane so had to leave off at night. Other areas looked like they had been attended to such as newer paint and clean carpets. Despite those flaws it overall was descent for price range and was not sketchy by any means so felt safe and staff was friendly.

The room was in need of repairs. Ventilation was broken, so there was mold all over the ceilings in the bathroom needed a deep cleaning and tile repairs. Part of toilet paper available. Continental breakfast was horrendous and unable to eat there.

This hotel was wonderful! The management staff does a great job, the pool is professionally maintained by a pool company, our room was spacious, and our breakfasts were yummy! I would definitely choose this hotel again if planning another trip to Ft. Worth.

It was quite an interesting experience to say the least. I kept having issues one after another. Ultimately for the price paid I had certain expectations that were not met. Property did not have certain amenities that you would expect as well has having an off smell to it. The breakfast was okay, staff was nice.

I was very confused when I arrived at this hotel. I went right to the one that looked like the picture and they sent me across the parking lot to another parking lot to a different hotel and when we walked inside, it stunk very badly! I was very much false advertising!

For a cheaper hotel it was really clean, the front desk was professional, in the morning they ran out of milk he quickly filled it up.In addition I left an expensive item behind they made sure I got this back. Held it for me. Same person. This means the housekeeper was honest too. Years ago another hotel I left something and it was gone! Its nice to knowntthere are less expensive hotels, clean, serve breakfast, has integrity and honest. Lastly the dude smiles when helping us! Not always a modern quality! Thank you.

Had a room on the second floor, the noise from the road was as loud as if the windows were open. Very loud shutting of doors by other guests. Decent sized room and relatively clean.

It is hot, poor air conditioner. I have health issues. You can't have visitors. I never stayed at a room where, you could have guest. They charge 50 to stay in a room that doesn't has AC. I will not book here ever again. I told staff it was hot. She continues to act confused as if it does. The AC unit is very loud. Can to get rest. But can't get rest. Because AC unit is very loud. I need my 50$ back. This is the worst stay I'm from out of town. Coming home. Not good at all.

I stood at the front desk for about 10 minutes and I was like hello hello hello nobody so I went and sat down and finally could tell the guy at the front desk was asleep and he woke up and he came out and he wasn’t very nice to me And he asked me for my ZIP Code which I’ve never checked into a hotel with ballot ID and have someone asked me for my ZIP Code.

We were assigned room 100. Key didn’t work on outside door. Key remade. Hall stunk. Overwhelming cat urine outdoor in room. Given 116. Roaches in bathroom. Tv remote was in bad shape and only worked occasionally. Came back late from a party and the sheets appeared dirty on one side. Instead of changing rooms again, we slept on the opposite side of the king bed from the stain. The hall had a pleasant smell as we headed to breakfast the food was very limited and not appetizing, so we went back to the room to pack. On the way back to check out & get a receipt, the pleasant smell in the front part of the hall was dissipating & you could smell the cat iron over the room freshener.

Would have been good value for the price, but they were doing maintenance late in the evening which was causing a terrible odor. Had to switch rooms because the fumes were so bad.

Trouble with the T.V. The front desk clerk had to come to our room to re-set the T.V. Worked fine that evening; did not work again in the morning. Kept displaying "NO SIGNAL" message. Motel probable needs to address the problem as it seems to be reoccuring.

There was a family of rodents in the walls, making noise all through the night. Also woke up the next morning to red marks all over my body from bedbug bites. Was planning on staying there for two additional nights canceled. This place is horrible.

Fast and Friendly check-in. The room was bigger than I thought, and the bed was super comfy.

The property was being renovated and any inconvenience was to be expected! The staff was very good and attentive! The traffic from streets and highway was noisy but bearable! Unfortunately my neighbors in the next room were very rude, arguing, angry at each other, a child was allowed to stay up very late and was very noisy and crying! The first night this went on until 2:30-3 am! I reported this to the desk and the clerk spoke to the family and the situation became better! I was there 4 nights and heard the family each night but not nearly as bad as the first night… might be a good idea for someone to walk the corridors each night to make sure guests behave themselves and not disturb the other guests!

Good hotel for the price

Stay was alright for the money paid. But we did find a roach and another dead bug in the bathroom.

Our stay was wonderful. If I had to complain about anything, it was the musty, damp smell of the room when we first entered the room. Other than that, we had an excellent stay.

The room is very spacious. However there were cockroaches in both our rooms. One of our rooms ac didn't get very cool and the breakfast is very limited and not many places to sit. The parking lot is very small as well and if you arrive late you may not get a parking spot

Great clean and quiet motel

It's a very basic hotel, but it's perfect for one's need for a good night's rest. Cracker Barrel restaurant is in walking distance as well as a convenience store but there are plenty of restaurants in the City View area and a lot of fast food restaurants in the Benbrook area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It also made me happy that they watch out for the feral kitties around the neighborhood.

Hotel had a comfortable environment and friendly staff. Beds were super comfy.

Room was spacious and clean. There were a few minor annoyances such as; orange juice machine non operative 2 of the 3 mornings, no cups available for juice, no lids for coffee cups one morning, inoperative lamp on one side of bed. We will stay there again in the future so these are not deal breakers. Thanks.

We enjoyed our stay! The staff and the inside of the hotel were very nice, it’s just the outside is a little bit of a problem because the area felt a little off. Other than that, it was great!

Manager was super friendly upon arrival. Thats were the good ended. Rooms were below standard - smelled of smoke and seemed dirty. We had planned to use the sleeper couch - when we pulled it out it had dirty (possibly bloody?) sheets on it. We immediately closed it up. Towels were old and cheap. Breakfast was disappointing and we did not eat from there - got our own breakfast elsewhere.

Great price and very clean. I stayed because I filtered for hotel w/ electric car charging and didn’t want to pay a lot. Electric car charging did not work but they said they shared the parking lot w/ the hotel across the parking area. Luckily they had complimentary charging, otherwise this review would have had 1 fewer stars. I called the night before my trip to ask about the charger. The lady said she had no idea and that was it. There was some parking lot riff raff. Looks like staff can have their friends just come and hang out. The receptionist again had no idea about the chargers and there was an employee parked in one of the charging spots but it wasn’t an e-car. They didn’t care. In the morning the front desk guy was watching YouTube on his phone. He didn’t even pause it to answer a question I had. The room was very clean, showers were warm and great water pressure. The a/ c worked well. It was pretty loud though. You would forget it was loud and then it would shut off and you’d feel odd in the silence. But… it was a perfect place for a night in a hotel while traveling through. For a discerning person like me it was worth the price. My number one priority is cleanliness and comfortability. It was both. And.. Cracker Barrel was walking distance which was awesome. I didn’t have to drive anywhere and my car was fully charged by morning. I would stay there again. If I was the owner I would have more training and hire a better manager. They could charge more if they did.
