I liked the staff members' friendliness and the pool but my wife got bedbug bite which ruined hervacation. I can provide pictures of her skin.

The staff was amazing The towels were stained. The sheets were stained. The floor was so dirty that my 1yr old ruined and stained the knees of her new pants within 10mins of crawling around. Couldn't go outside for a smoke without a bum begging for one

It was kind of surprising to find that our room at Red Lion didn't have a closet, just three hooks on the wall. If only had two drawers, no bedside drawers, only a 12" shelf for chargers. This room was clean which we liked, but so stripped down of things we would need for an overnight stay that we won't be staying there again.

Very nice and clean hotel. Super convenient for my visit needs . Breakfast was great full service not just cheap continental stuff. They had Buiscuits,gravy, eggs,sausages and all the continental stuff. Beds are kinda small more like doubles not queen and also rooms are very clean and nice kept. Price was great suggest you reserve in advance I couldn’t believe prices rise high for events around the area . Only issue I ran into their WiFi was down for the night since I checked in and wasn’t able to work or submit deadline projects. They did have a pool but didn’t get to enjoy it.

Motel close to highway for travels.Dog friendly Kind of small, homeless going through trash in parking lot and approaching guests. Nothing against the hotel, just becareful.

The location was convenient. We were right off the highway and could walk into town. The breakfast could have more variety of food and better coffee.

Just not a nice hotel considering how much it costs. You can literally see through the side of the door frame so you have to crank the heat to stay warm. Lots of noise from the road comes through as well. The rooms aren't terribly loud but you can hear other people in their rooms. Everything felt outdated, and overall, just not a great experience considering how expensive this is. For half the price, I wouldn't be as upset.

The staff & room were beautiful inside & out. Only thing that needs to be addressed is better striping in tub, with the bar inside tub was great both my husband & I had to hold onto in fear of slipping, which we both did but the bar helped not to fall.

It was good for an overnight stop on our way through. Really nice and helpful staff. Not too far from a Trader Joes... quieter area. Really nothing. It was perfect for what we needed for a night.

The hotel was in a convenient location. Staff and facilities: The staff was not very helpful or friendly at the time of check in. There was a long line of people waiting to check in and the staff never looked up from the computer and acknowledged those of us waiting and only focused on the person in front of them at the time. The lobby was clinical, bad lighting, and not very inviting compared to other hotels we’ve typically stayed at in Bend. Room: The room was very basic for the price. Our toilet was broken at the time of check in. Maintenance was later sent in while we were out to fix it but didn’t bother to tidy up around the toilet after working on it. The shower was not clean at the time of check in and found a few hairs. Water pressure was bad and could not get fully hot. Finally for the price of the hotel the towels were poor quality and very small. These were thin and not regular or full sized towels at all.

The rooms were not the best, more so safety than anything..very loud area.

Room was clean but smelled strongly like bleach.

Overall, the hotel looks a bit dingy now. There was a pile of cardboard and other debris between the two buildings, and large gravel pebbles were scattered around the planters, spilling into numerous parking places. The TV in our room would not connect to whatever network the hotel is using. I reported this to the front desk after our first night, and the clerk tried to reset the device in our room, but with no luck. She said that they were having a lot of trouble with the system, and that "Maintenance" would come by to take care of the problem. Nobody came to the room, so the problem was still there when we checked out the following day. I hope that the hotel can find a way to improve the experience for guests.

The mobility accessible room was extremely small and very hard to maneuver in a wheelchair. There was no way I could get into the tub. I wouldn’t even be able to reach the shower attachment. The threshold to the room was too high for a wheelchair to roll over, so it was difficult even to access the room. The breakfast was nothing like they show in the photos. There was only apples and no oranges or bananas. No oatmeal, no pancakes, no waffles, or french toast. But the coffee was good.

Room was very clean. TV was huge. The pool is small but great for kids. They only clean your room every third day you are there so we weren't there long enough to have our room serviced, but they did knock on our door each morning asking if we wanted more towels, which I appreciated. My only complaint is that there wasn't hot water for the shower in the mornings. We also showered in the evenings after long days at the ballpark and the hot water was ample then, but not in the morning. Other than that, it was a great location, price and stay.

Comfortable one night stay. Beds were great and the room was quiet despite road nearby. Air conditioner was fine - which was great, because when it's not fine - it's terrible! Lol. Staff was wonderful and Bubba gives great customer service. Complementary breakfast was good enough to get rolling.

Very disappointed in quality. Never could get TV to work. Clothes hangers were 3 post on a board. AC fan made screeching noise when we tried to use it. Bug on floor and dozens of ants feeding on it. Won’t stay at any of the other locations in the future.

We had a great experience here. Was just one night but we felt right at home. Clean and quiet rooms. A very nice full breakfast included. We only thought we were getting a Continental breakfast but they had eggs, sausage and hashbrowns above the regular Continental options. It was a nice surprise. We got great service from Miranda at the front desk. She was very helpful and attentive to our needs. All this for a very affordable price. We will stay here again!

We were first put in a room that was having maintenance work done , so then was moved to the 2nd floor. Went to put the tv on late and it wouldn’t work took my husband thirty mins to figure out the issue , overall was a good stay just a few hiccups

The hotel is well maintained, and although it is next to a busy intersection, the rooms were quiet. The hotel description is a little misleading in saying that laundry facilities are available. We were advised by the front desk that they are not, although the manager will arrange for dry cleaning. When searching hotels for our stay, I had only considered hotels that said they had laundry facilities as we had been camping for a few days & I wished to wash our clothing before returning home. We ended up handwashing our clothing for the airport and hauling the rest of our used laundry home. I will say that the front desk person was very polite, understanding and cooperative, and tried to help us cancel our reservation (although we ended up staying there as I’ve heard nightmare stories about getting a refund when booking through Expedia, it sounds like many people get caught between the 2 companies (Expedia and the hotel), and I didn’t want to lose our $$. If they had not listed laundry facilities on the website, I would have given the hotel a higher rating.

Accessible room was falsely advertised. No way to get into the tub. Room smelled of bleach so bad had to prop the door open for hours. Staff refused to switch rooms.

Bedding had a bunch of stains, tv kept loosing connection, breakfast was like warm, bathtub wasn’t very clean.

Rooms were clean and breakfast was great. When I checked in the whole lobby reeked like cigarette smoke. It was disgusting. I was quite shocked as it smelt like someone had just been smoking inside right before I walked in. The maintenance person was watching the desk so I had to wait a bit to check in. The room did not smell thankfully and when I returned to he lobby for breakfast the smell was no longer there.

The young gal at the front desk when we checked in was lovely. She was very helpful and even called to make sure the room was to our liking. We appreciate the pet friendly area with grass . Thank you

The staff was excellent and polite. However the restroom felt a bit confined and the toilet so lit it made it hard to get up. Aside from that we had a nice time.

The hotel is in a perfect location to shops and restaurants, and easy to get downtown. The room was very clean and nicely presented. However, the beds were terribly uncomfortable and the nightlight from the sink area was super bright and annoying. Didn't sleep at all that night!

Had a very bad experience. Kids running around the property kicking soccer balls and not letting guest sleep at 12am. Bathroom had some ants.

The continental breakfast was much better than I expected, with cooked sausages, hash browns, yogurt, pretty good coffee. Simple, well-maintained room, with ample desk for your laptop, air conditioner/heater that allows you to keep the fan on for white noise. The bed was comfortable, had nice linens. While the bath towels are on the smaller side, they were crisp white and in great condition. Enormous TV, though I didn't use it. My room was near the main street, though I rarely heard any road noise. Parking lot was well-lit, felt safe. Staff was very courteous. In short, a very good value I thought.

The inn and room were impeccably clean. Modern and up to date furnishings, and very well appointed. Professional and courteous staff.

Room was cold and "hard", metal bed frame made a buckling noise every time we sat on the edge of the bed. Room above us had kids who ran around all night... with no carpet on the floors, it was very loud in our room.

Breakfast was great. Room was very clean and updated. Beds were comfortable.

Shower backed up. Toilet didn't flush properly then ran all night. Outlet by bed quit working during night so phones didn't charge. We planned to have breakfast before leaving but we were not told breakfast started an hour later on weekends.

Upon arrival we noticed our bedsheets had brown marks on them, after speaking with the front desk they gave us a different room for the night. That was very helpful of them.

Responsive front desk

It was an okay 2 day stay. Staff was friendly. Our sheets in our rooms were stained otherwise the room was nice. One night had someone in the parking lot blaring music at 2:30am for a good 15 minutes. The room door doesn’t align. There was still cold air coming in. It was small but you could tell. The shower and water pressure was great.

Draw back, it was next to a very busy roadway. Breakfast was probably good for most, but no healthy options.

Hotel was great except for the traffic noise

The bed was sloped downward toward the headboard, and there was a background humming noise that seemed to come from outside the room, which made sleeping difficult. Otherwise, things were fine, and the breakfast was good.

We came into town for an emergency, with nothing but the clothes off our backs, and didn't get there until late. The sweet front desk girl got us toothbrushes and toothpaste and made sure we had all we needed for showers. She also let us know that there was a bit of breakfast until 10am. The TV was working, so the maintenance man came and fixed it, even though it was almost 11pm. We got the sleep that we needed and had everything we needed to shower and get ready to go back to the VCA hospital. We went to breakfast and wow! I was far greater than I expected! They had eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, cereal, bagels, toast, an array of juices and milks, coffee, tea, and more! We had a lovely breakfast and were on our way. Thank you!

The staff was friendly. The water was being shut off due to construction during the night and they were well prepared with offers of bottled water, it was no problem. The room, on the surface seemed great, however, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling and the fan/heater sounded like it was ok it's last leg. Breakfast was decent

Overall a good motel to stay one night! There was a broken light in the room which they were going to refer to maintenance. Bed sheets had some stains.

Staff: I have to divide into two. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice as was the young woman who brought me additional towels. Very pleasant. In fact, I left a gift for the young woman (a scarf) because she was so lovely and kind. The second set of staff were the hotel housekeeper who came to clean my room. She was quite abrupt and made me uncomfortable so I left the room quicker than I would have. The breakfast lady was very uncouth. She was complaining about admin and guests in the middle of the breakfast area to another staff person (who did not look like she wanted to be there). She claimed that hotel did not provide her with enough and that guests were "stealing food for their lunches." As one of those guests who take a yogurt and coffee back with me, it's because I have to take meds with it. I was very offended. In addition the breakfast area was not very clean (being kind). The food was generally cold. Overall, the stay was nice enough. I just think some staff need some hospitality training

Convenient for us to go to convention across the street. Not far from lots of shopping, Deschutes river walk. Good price and very accommodating on early and late check out.

I rarely leave reviews but had to give a shout out to this place! It was very clean, really seemed as if the room had just been deep cleaned because I didn't see one speck of dust or anything anywhere! Well kept up, everything was in good, working order. Celeste and Daniel were the two staff members I dealt with and they were both so kind and helpful! Enjoyed the variety of breakfast options (scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, bananas, apples, oatmeal, ciobanni yogurt, three kinds of cereal and I feel like I'm still forgetting an option or two!) The location is perfect for quick access to anywhere in Bend! I stayed at the Bend Quality Inn recently for the same price and this was far and away, better!!

Parking was easy, staff was super nice and helpful, room was very clean. Breakfast was delicious, a little cold but there was warm food to replace it soon after. Car noise outside was a bit loud but there’s a bug street next to it, out of their control.

The location of the room, wasn't very good. Close to a major intersection & because of the road noise, I didn't have a very restful night at all. The bed was comfortable, pillows were really good & the room was nice though.

The hotel was very easy to find and conveniently located. The room was a bit small and there was some road noise. But overall a good stay.

Breakfast was ok. Sausage and biscuits undercooked. No fruit. So… you know people judge their hotel stays and hospital stays around the food served.

When I arrived at the hotel to check-in I was greeted by the woman at the check in counter. She was very nice and welcoming.. I didn't get her name, but she helped me through the different contracts to sign and made a very easy to check-in. The room was in great order. Clean and tidy. It was also well stocked with the amenities and lots of towels. I enjoyed the breakfast on my way out of town. There was a lot of variety, and everything tasted great. Upon checkout, I was helped by the man at the counter. He explained that my deposit money would be redeposited within a few days if the room was in good order. I was overall impressed with the hotel and I will return if I'm in the area again? Thanks.

Great location for us. Rooms are quiet and clean. Staff was wonderful! Breakfast was great as well. I love the water bottle refill station in the lobby as well!

Our room was immaculate. The beds were incredibly comfortable. There was no decaying tile adhesive in the perfectly clean bathroom. And the AC worked perfectly!

Only thing I didn’t like was the pool was closed

Lovely stay and the staff however I asked for. Late checkout. They offered one pm. All my groceries toiletries and not sure what else was thrown away by house keeping. And upon my return, nothing could’ve prepared me to o see my motel room taken over by another couple and any belongs o had left in the room gone.

Breakfast on the weekend of Sep 20/21 was just terribly taken care of by staff. Things were running out without any effort to fill them back up. The worst happened Sunday morning when there was no bread or bagels at all anymore and the front desk person blaming a delivery being late. There's a supermarket pretty close by......send some staff member over and buy some bread and bagels. That's possible and shows you care about your (paying) customers. Really bad. I'll never go there ever again.

Have stayed here a few times, it’s clean, easy, and priced affordable. Property conditions are good, starting to get slightly run down but not horrible just starting to look older inside the rooms, could use some touch ups. Usually just stay 1-2 nights when visiting my daughter. Breakfast was great.

It was ok. In major need of updating. Our room was close to the highway while it very noisy.

The hotel room was clean and of average comfort. One day at the continental breakfast there was a hair in the scrambled eggs. So I would be cautious with the food. Besides that the room and hotel were pretty good and not a bad place to stay for a last minute Labor Day weekend trip.

Had an issue with service on Sat, 8/30. Left the room about 10. Came back 3 times an hour apart and room 110 was still being turned over for new reservation. Our room next door was not serviced. Had to go to front desk. Serviced then within an hour.

We picked this hotel because it had a pool. Unknown to us, it was closed. They didn’t even mention it at check in. We heard from another guest. Someone set the alarm clock before tgey left. We could hear it going off for hours every morning. If you just need a place to sleep this choice is fine.

The room was clean with a refrigerator, hairdryer,iron and ironing board, microwave and a digital docking station if that’s what they call that thing USB port among other ports for your electronics. They had a modest breakfast which included hot items as well as yogurt, juice, coffee, toast, bagels, and cereal.

Breakfast was a hot verses continental with many yummy items to choose. I was pleased with my accomodations and will stay again next time I am passing through.

Our room was very clean and had a nice big tv. The downfall is that the air conditioner was very loud, the fridge made a weird noise off and on and they put us directly across from the ice machine. People love to get ice after mid-night!

The staff were really nice. The rooms/facilities are dated and worn. The room came with one hanger and the ironing board was laying against the curtain and the wall since there wasn't even a spot to hang things. The shower/bathtub had seen better days and looked like I had attempted to install it.

It was a convenient location - walkable for food and an easy drive to orhers. Clean. Decent breakfast, though the menu didn't seem to change.

Good value, loved the pool and staff was pleasant. AC unit was a bit clanky and road noise is pretty loud through the night.

One morning they ran out of plates and forks for the included breakfast, other than that everything was great.

It's an okay place BUT, it's right off of hwy 97 so it's noisy, TV didn't work and continental breakfast was fake eggs, mediocre biscuits/gravy and lousy sausage patty. It's basically HALF of a continental breakfast with the cheapest food possible. So if you're a breakfast person, this ain't the place.

What we didn't like was that there was not a window that opened, the room smelt overwhelmingly like bleach when we arrived. We had to leave our room door open and allow it to air out for a couple of hours. Also, it was inconvenient that there was not a fan in the bathroom. Overall, we were pleased with our stay, and we would stay again.

The bed was comfortable, but the road noise was loud even in our room.

Beds were ok- they dipped a bit in the middle. The room was perfectly fine for a night stop over and there was breakfast in the morning which was good. Very basic but fine for a night.

The breakfast was better on the Saturday morning than on Friday, which was very mediocre with super watery orange juice. However, I would probably stay here again.

We were very disappointed to pay $349 for a really really old place. No elevator. Room very small. Smelled of chemicals.

Only negative things for us is there is a lot of road noise, if that's an issue for you, request a room on opposite side. Not an issue for me. Also, the desk clerk made me listen to her personal call for 5 minutes before helping me. Probably should have asked them to hold for a moment and check me in. She was friendly and helpful after she hung up. Just was kind of odd.

Breakfast was okay pretty standard stuff. The staff was super nice the bed was comfortable. The shower head those wish you could change the settings. The pool was nice last day there was no towels though for the pool before check out.

Simply a nice place to stay. Good breakfast.

The door on the ice machine was so heavy it almost broke my back

We liked the quality bed, larger mini-fridge with freezer compartment, clean room & effiective AC. The staff was friendly and made check-in easy. Biggest drawback for us was outside noise of being in a high traffic area with construction going on.

The comforter was dirty in our room when we arrived and they had to replace it. Room was clean. Breakfast wasn’t great. No fruit, yogurt and coffee ran out and they did not replace it. Only stayed because we didn’t spend anytime in the room. Not worth the price.

Too much road noise. No closet

The hotel had lots of road noise, terrible breakfast, and had some sketch people in the parking lot at all times of the night, including 3am when we let the dogs out to the bathroom.

Staff was great. Nice hot breakfast. Room was next to a busy road. Rooms were small and very basic. No laundry facilities available.

Staff were friendly, facilities were clean, and the location is convenient. The bed was pretty hard, but it was a comfortable night’s sleep nonetheless. I would stay here again.

Breakfast options average for ‘ Continental Breakfast’. Bed was comfortable . We did sleep well once it quieted down.

When I got there my reservations were messed up and the hotel did not have the room I had booked. I had to switch to another hotel. They had a room for one of my two nights but I would have had to switch rooms.

Great breakfast each morning. There was minor damage to our room due to previous water issues but we received a partial refund and the damage did not affect our stay. Very busy and full hotel which did not allow us to get another room. Otherwise clean and staff was friendly.

A drive through stay, very clean pool and room. Excellent front desk person laughed at all of my jokes, he went above and beyond.

Great location and price for a quick stay to enjoy a show at Hayden Homes Ampitheater. Easy check in and friendly staff. Comfy beds and clean room. Pool was very clean and a nice reprieve before the show. We would all stay here again.

Dirty towels, hair in bathtub, dirty toilet seat, ants in sink, metal piece under bed was noisy, room notepad had explicit writing all over it. This was our first and last time using this Hotel.

Room was clean and good except for outlet nightlight which shines outward toward the bed and cannot be changed.

Great stay, very quiet and very comfy bed.

It was the perfect lower cost hotel for a weekend away with my two kids. Breakfast was a good array of choices. In whole, I definitely was surprised at how great it was for the price. I'm glad to have stayed there and can now visit Bend more often having found this budget friendly gem.

The gentleman in the front desk was super friendly and helpful.
