Sleep Inn Bend Crossroads Plaza

This was our family's first stay at The Sleep Inn and we loved it. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great, with a variety of hot and cold options. The outdoor pool and spa were surrounded by lots of seating and beautifully landscaped grass, flowers, and trees. We were within walking distance of several great restaurants and Barnes and Noble. We will definitely stay again when we return to Bend.

Location off US Route 20 is convenient. Liked location away from busy downtown US97 corridor. Property in walking distance of a variety of food and alcohol venues. Breakfast was better than most motels. Bed was comfortable. Room was compact and well laid out.

I recently stayed here twice and was very impressed. The room was clean and comfortable, the wifi worked great, parking was easy, and the breakfast was simple but had plenty of options. What I was most impressed by though is the staff. I travel a lot and the Sleep Inn staff really stood out for how friendly and helpful they all are. Most places have a few happy employees, but everyone I encountered here was so welcoming. And a special shout out to Nikita and Brianna at the front desk who make a great first impression for the hotel (and serve delicious cookies every day at 5pm). I will definitely be back!

They gave me no notice no chance and this is after I spoke with the staff member and she said everything was fine. They never canceled my booking. Clean, quiet room, good breakfast and cheery staff. What more could you want?

The pool and hot tub were very nice and well maintained. Outdoor pool was perfectly heated in the cool weather. The breakfast options were decent. Fresh waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, eggs, sausage, muffins, coffee, juice. The basics—exactly what we expected. Breakfast was crowded, so there was not table for us. Would be great if breakfast were extended to 10am instead of cutting off at 9. This would help with the crowding and running out of some food items and tables. The location was good for us. We hiked up pilot butte in the morning. I would stay here again. A few minor things kept me from giving 5 stars in a couple categories. The room had a kind of food smell. It seems the microwave needed a cleaning, so my suggestion to staff is to ensure the inside of the microwave is cleaned each time a room is cleaned. There were also several marks on the walls that could probably be cleaned off easily.

This rooms are in need of deep cleaning or upgrades. Room smelled like dirty sweat socks or BO. Stayed for the convenience to the hospital.

My room had a faint buzzing sound from being next to the laundry room, but it wasn't too bad. It had no bathtub, but you get a shower.

We needed a handicap room, so it was very nice to be able to choose that.

The lady at check in was very friendly. No issues there. The room was just "ok." The bed was squeaky every time I turned over or got into the bed. The bathroom was separated. The sink was outside of the toilet and shower area. I couldn't dry my hair without bothering my husband trying to sleep. The toilet seat felt loose and I couldn't get too hot of water in the shower. It would be nice to have a towel rack or something actually near the shower to grab to dry off with. And last but not least....the remote control was broken. So, I can only give 3 stars.

Yes to all. The only problem was extremely loud music and voices next door, all in Spanish. The first night it ended by 9 pm, the second night it went on until midnight.

The design of the room makes it conducive to effective use.

Clean and quiet room. Close to St Charles Medical Center so it is a convenient place to stay if you are having surgery or a treatment. Check in was great - asked for a 1st floor room and she made sure it was on ground level and close to the exit to make it easier to get to the car. I always like it when hotels have their shampoo and conditioners in the shower in pump bottles to decrease the amount of plastic in the tiny plastic bottles.

The front desk person was acted like we were a burden when we checked in for our stay. She wasnt friendly at all and took a long time to check us in, she shouldnt be working customer service because she lacks the skills to do the job effectively. Secondly, our room smelled. It had a bodily oder smell and we've stayed in a enough places to know yoi get used to it but is wasnt very clean in the room either. Stains on the walls anf i dont think it gets cleaned properly. Also, there's really loud music playing from a bar near by that will keep you up late. We ended up checking out 5 hours early. Terrible breakfast too.

Rooms are clean, location is great for our needs, parking is really easy. Value for the dollar is really good here.

We paid about $60 for our 1 night stay. The room was clean and served our purpose. They had a free breakfast downstairs and the staff was pleasant. We will be back. The only negative was it was very small, no big deal, I will remember to bring a blanket since I need more weight on me than a sheet a thin bedspread. We noticed they also had a pool which was not open in February and a small outdoor hot tub which I believe was available but outside.

I stay in bend often and selected Sleep Inn based on location and price. I was not at all disappointed in the value of the room and the quality of the hotel. It was such a value that I added a 3rd night to my stay. I typically stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, but this hotel is half the cost and just as great of mattress, shower, and room decor quality. Sure, the breakfast isn't as robust and no pool, but if you are looking for a decent, quality stay in Bend and don't need all the frills, this is the spot. The front desk staff were all very kind and helpful. Only complaint that if you are eating breakfast at 10am, you get blocked in and they shut off the TV, etc. Like getting kicked out of the bar right at last call...would be nice to not feel like being rushed to leave an open seating area.

Check in & out was quick and easy, breakfast is nice however I had better at a different Sleep Inn in Redmond Oregon - I was hoping breakfast would be the same.

Breakfast wasn’t that great, unfortunately the waffle machine was down. The eggs/sausage was questionable. But I still was happy we could make some toast and cereal.

Accessible room did not have an accessible shower, I am disabled and cannot climb over a bathtub to use the shower. Advertisement was misleading.

The night staff was awesome! The room was pretty clean. The room had a comfortable bed but very worn sheets. The shower somehow sprayed a lot of water out onto the floor every time and could use repair. Overthe stay was pleasant.

Great room and excellent front desk person when we checked in. The bed was comfortable, but had the small, flat pillows that seem to be everywhere. (Hotels really need to get back to using more than 3 feathers wrapped in a sheet.) Everything was clean and quiet and nicely arranged. The breakfast was standard hotel fare -nothing special. Dinner at Worthy Brewing across the street was great.

Staff was often standing outside and around the corner from the front door, forcing guests to wait for someone to help them at the front desk. Pool was covered and unusable but hot tub was open and seemed well taken care of. Found a couple of long black hair in bedding which makes you question the cleanliness. Complimentary breakfast was decent and well stocked. One staff member worked hard to keep everything clean in that area.

Was not fond of the pillows. Just a personal preference thing.

For being a non-smoking our room reeked of smoke! And then we had the fire alarm go off at 4:45 in the morning on Sunday! Hottub was also broken

This was a nice little place to stay. It wasn't right downtown, but it was only a short drive to many places and there are several different places to eat all walkable. The pool was perfect, and the temperature was just right. I would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay. Gave a 4 star instead 5 because on one occasion I asked the desk person a simple question about housekeeping that required a simple answer and got an attitude about it for asking. Loved the pool. Worthy Brewing right across the street. Also the breakfast lady was very good.

The stay was fine, clean, the staff was very friendly, the areas were very clean, the room was clean, what I would recommend is updating the furniture, the bed creaked so bad every time you moved, very old, and another thing I didn't like was the limited options they have for breakfast, otherwise we were happy with our stay.

We didn’t like having the bathroom split with a sink in the room and a very small shower. We will probably look to stay at another hotel next time. Staff was helpful but the breakfast was always cold.

Quick check in and nice room.

There was a problem with the reservation. When securing the room online the website malfunctioned and didn’t confirm the room. So a second attempt was made with a definite confirmation. When I arrived they said I had 2 rooms when I only wanted and needed 1. They informed me I had already paid and they wouldn’t do anything for me whether I stayed there or not. Also homeless people were living in their cars in the parking lot. Also the address was incorrect and it took awhile to find the hotel. By the time I found it I was exhausted and just spent the night. Would like the second booking returned but don’t hold out much hope.

Lots of places to eat (including a Starbucks almost right next to the property - easy to walk to within a few minutes), a Safeway across side street, a McDonalds almost behind the Safeway, a pub across parking lot (friendly place). Nice outdoor covered hot tub, outdoor pool also very clean and nice. Friendly staff. Breakfast had egg pucks and sausage, English muffins, waffles, mini muffins, and some fruit (nothing spectacular but okay - however, if you want more, there are options like Starbucks super close). A great stay for a couple of nights at a very good value. Within about a 7 min drive to the heart of Bend (Old Mill Pond, etc). Oh, and Pilot Butte (a great scenic lookout) is only a 5 min drive away (you can drive to top in about another 5 min or get a workout in very nice trails up it - your choice). And highly recommend the High Desert Museum about 20 min drive south. In other words, even though this hotel isn’t in downtown Bend, it’s still in a great location with easy access to everything if you have a car.

Everything was fine except the drunk guy next door to me playing his Hispanic music incredibly loud, staring at all the women like a creep and then to top it off making all kinds of banging, grunting and moaning sounds on the other side of the wall all night……. Again nice hotel but the neighbor I had was not pleasant

Check in was fast and friendly. We where given extra towels and advice for a wonderful dinner. The room was clean and smelled fresh. Breakfast was standard but the attendant keeped everything clean and was even making fresh waffles for people. Check out was quick and safe travels offered. Overall a great experience

Stay here all the time love it

I highly recommend staying at this Sleep Inn. We stayed 4 nights and it could not have been better. We felt very welcomed from the start by the staff. They asked upon check-in what floor (1st or second) we would prefer, our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and everything was just as advertised. Breakfast was solid and the hot tub was magical! Also, the hot water in the room had better temperature than any other place I have stayed. Lastly, it’s close to what became a favorite hike to date; Pilot Butte! We went twice!-Fantastic workout and views!

This hotel is overall very good and I would stay here again if I was in Bend. I felt it was a good value and clean. My main complaint was the breakfast ending at 9am on a Sunday. I wasn't informed of this at check-in and missed the breakfast.

I felt safe entering and exiting the building. Room was spacious. Well appointed. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast coffee left much to be desired. Otherwise, breakfast was well stocked and replenished as needed and variety was great.

Construction material sitting out in hallway. Carpet on stairs could've been vacuumed. Dining area help talking and not assisting patrons obviously in need of help. The night of our stay, The front desk attendant did help my friend by getting ice on 2nd floor since machine on our floor was broken. You would think there would've been ice supplied for breakfast since the machine was broken.

Welcomed and serviced well. One front desk person apparently did not know how to set the room cards because it cancelled on us twice but a different person another night corrected it. Also had a very difficult time reaching them by phone and through expedia. No responses, answering machine, or call back. Not sure why. When we arrived I verified the phone number and told the staff that no one answered all day and they thought it was odd because the phone hadn't rang once during their shift. It was just to verify checking in stuff so it wasn't needed the rest of the time but it was annoying. Overall a good stay.

The sleep inn was very clean with a very nice lobby area. The only negative was that the room was small and only had double beds instead of queen. They were comfortable enough, just small. Quick check in and the restaurant next door was very good
