I booked this hotel because I needed a room with two beds. When we checked into our room we realized that the balcony door was damaged and hanging off the hinges. Because the door would not close, it could not be locked causing a security and comfort issue. The AC was set to 62 but the room remained around 78 due to the balcony door being stuck open. I spoke with Ade at the front desk and she informed me that there were no other rooms with 2 beds available. She told me she would cancel my reservation and to contact Expedia for a refund. However, when I contacted Expedia, I spent over an hour on the phone trying to resolve the issue. Expedia said the hotel reported that everything was fine which directly contradicted what I had been told by Ade. Not only was the condition of the room not usable but I left without a clear resolution from Expedia and the hotel. I would recommend that management address both the maintenance issues and the way guest concerns are handled. Also to mention I bought the insurance through Expedia and still have not heard from them to resolve my refund.

The Free Breakfast These are just the highlights Treated rudely by a male front desk employee named Joseph. The bed in my room should have been replaced years ago. I slept in a deep bowl shaped depression that wreaked havoc on my back. The air conditioning unit in my room powered on every 20 minutes sounding like malfunctioning jet engine. Imagive being waken up every twenty minutes when you had to wake up at 6am, start with a three hour drive, followed by a full day of work. Add to all this, the room next to ours had a dog in it and the dog barked everytime someone walked down the hall, everytime a car parked in front of the room. Im severally allergic to dogs and yes even next door that dog caused a reaction and I had to use my inhaler which I haven't used in 13 months but carry with me always.

One complaint in Room 103- One of the beds had a noticeably saggy mattress and its sharp frame extended beyond the mattress, causing my husband to scrape his leg on more than one occasion. Also, the faucet does not extend far enough over the sink, causing a constant accumulation of water on the counter.

Check in was fine, they have Breakfast in the morning. Only issue we had was the thermostat wasn't working right away, had to mess with it and then it worked.

The hotel needs a update the AC unit sounds like a bulldozer working outside your room. Very loud location you can hear the people in the room next door and road traffic in your room. The pool was cloudy and warm, we did not get in it. We paid for 3 nights only stayed 2 night no maid service on 2nd day had to take our trash to dumpster and go get clean towels at front desk 2 days in a row. The coffee machine was great it’s available 24/7. You can sit and drink coffee and listen to the staff talk about other staff members and the managers. I was very surprised they saw me knew I was sitting there and constantly talking about other staff being drunk at work and having a plumbers crack showing. We left after we heard a guest being talked about for asking for pool towels. I wouldn’t go back again and we also woke up after the 1 st night with what seems to be flea bites we also had barking dogs underneath our room on 1 st night, 2 nd night next door to us a yapping dog for hours while we tried to nap. I can’t with a clear concussion recommended this location

Everything was great, however, the pancakes…don’t bother trying the coolio automatic pancake machine. While my daughter had fun watching it work what landed on her plate was basically slightly formed, warm pancake batter. Temperature adjustments definitely need to be made. Really nice breakfast otherwise. Hotel staff was friendly and room was very nice and clean.

We received a text upon checking in asking how our room was. I responded, saying it was dusty and musty smelling. We had zero follow-up and our room was not cleaned at all. We arrived back day two with zero fresh towels and an unmaid bed. The gym was sparce and hot. The buffet lacked basics like yogourt and bananas.

No elevator for second floor rooms, my wife has a broken ankle and they refused to move us to a first floor room. Run down hotel, not a typical IHG property. Stale bagels on breakfast buffet. Room AC was incredibly loud. Not a great experience.

The staff provides great service, and the cleanliness is excellent. The breakfast is small, but it has everything you need. I also appreciate the 24-hour coffee stations. Holiday Inn hotels never disappoint me.

The bedbugs appear at night, first in the corners of the mattress which had many sheets to hide the bugs. The desk staff could not help us with a refund. I would like a refund and am in the process of filing with Boca Health dept.

Clean room, comfortable bedding spacious parking lot. AC was blowing right in your face, had to block it with chair. Got a room on a second floor, no elevator.

Did not use the gym. No problem with the parking. Have stay there before and so far I like this hotel and their breakfast.

This hotel uses an air freshener/scent in the lobby and communal areas and it is very strong and offensive. The carpet is old and the place has definitely seen better days. Room was fine, clean but this place could do with a little cleaning up. Also no elevator for second floor was a little inconvenient.

staff support was ok, the lobby, hallways, stairways, were all kind of shabby, dirty. the double beds were too small (not the hotel's fault, i didnt realize it was double beds).

The room was excellent condition, with one huge exception: there was no hot water in the hotel. Also I reserved a 2-queen bed room, they were all taken and I was given a king bed room. (Thought that was thepoint of a reservation...) Breakfast was meh, but it was there; though freshground coffee was good. Best stars for the sales manager giving a substantial discount for the problems, though.

Also lots of places to eat in close walking distance and also a full blown grocery store same distance Will definitely stay again the next time I go to Boca Raton

Excellent! My all-time favorite. A delicious breakfast with fresh fruits. Holiday Inn will always be my first choice whenever it’s available in the area—I don’t even mind driving an extra 5 miles. Outstanding and friendly customer service.

Clean room, accommodating staff

Our room had an infestation of German cockroaches. They were all over the bathroom and surfaces near the refrigerator. When we first arrived to the room, there were food crumbs and even a piece of dogfood on the floors and surfaces. Our room was not cleaned during the day, despite being out without the sign on the door for over 6 hours. When we complained, the manager did not offer anything to remedy the situation. We checked out early, found a new hotel, and got a refund for the last day through Expedia.

Clean room, friendly staff

Rooms were decent, even though cleaning staff felt it was okay to skip a day. Towels were thin and very limited. Hotel itself is not terrible but hall decor is old and worn. This is really a 2 star hotel, very basic. Prices are high for this property. You don’t really get a good bang for your buck.

I was unable to get on the internet

I got in very late, and despite my calling and asking them so save a room, they didn’t, so I was given a room with twin beds- no big deal. But then I realized how old run down smoke-stained and bad the room was, with a balcony overlooking a scary empty strip mall parking lot. I asked to move- or cancel- and could t because I bought on Expedia. Then there were actually bugs. Then the guy at the desk insisted all the rooms were exactly the same- when if you look it up they are not- there is a newer “tower” that is less gross and the AC unit doesn’t roar so loudly and feels safer. So I got a better room in the tower for second two nights (this one had elevator to it- the other you had to drag your bag up the stairs) Poor to OK

The whole Hotel need a complete renovation, everything need repairs, Elevator, the bathrooms, the bathroom was not completely clean, with a lot of hair around, and the cherry of the cake was a Cockroach in one of the bed. Terrible, I’m extremely tired of always try to paid for a good hotel, with good reviews, and & $160 per night to dealing with all this issues. I don’t understand why this is happening…

When we open the door to our room, it was damp, mildew smell. The air conditioner was blowing full force the bed, the sheets and the pillow felt wet to the touch. I turned off the AC, but the room had a damp feel to it who had a bed out Very disappointed.

Couldn’t sleep in Saturday morning cause housekeeping staff was fighting and arguing so bad a man had to break it up. Definitely won’t be staying there again

The check-in process and check out process was smooth and front desk staff was friendly and helpful. As far as the room the TV had something wrong with it there was a blue tint to it in the picture was very dark but we weren't really there to watch TV, the air conditioner was an old style wall mounted unit and it did fine as far as Cooling. The bed was fairly comfortable but this is a personal choice. The breakfast was okay and had a decent selection. Overall I would stay again but there are better choices.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and were not impressed with the cleanliness. We found a cockroach in our bathroom and that unfortunately ruined the stay for us. We won’t be staying here again

No elevator to the 2nd floor. Not very convenient when traveling with a toddler. Service was very good.

Additionally, the hallway leading to the elevator had a very strong smell of marijuana, which was unpleasant and unprofessional for a hotel environment. This location definitely needs better maintenance and stricter cleanliness and safety standards.

Nice Publix in center,which makes a big convenience plus,easy accessibility and at night,i saw someone patrolling the parking lot( just a little add on) I would stay there again, no problem. The room was not very clean.

We booked two queen beds and confirmed this in our reservation receipt. We got there and their beds are full size beds. We even measured them and at the desk said that was “their queen size”. We paid good money for our room and to not get what you booked and mattress was horrible!! Never again will we book with them! We had one person sleep in the car it was so bad!

Staff was nice but the maintenance in our room was not kept up well. The first room I was given smelled weird. The second room smelled much better, but the tub was stained, bathroom door handle was very loose, baseboard trim was falling away from the wall, & the balcony was too dirty to enjoy. We couldn't even sit in the chairs on the balcony.

The staff was nice. Although any time i needed towels i never got them. They seemed to just refuse to bring them. No biggie. I bought some 6 dollar ones from target and solved my issue. Overall for a budget(ish) friendly hotel. I dont mind it.

I called and told the day shift receptionist I was going to be check in late, like after midnight, but when I got to the hotel, My reservation was cancel and they gave my room to someone else . The night time receptionist ask the security guard to check for an empty room, and he found one with no elevator access . I had a lot of luggage, which made this inconvenient for me going up the stairs. The room they gave me was dusty and fill will cob webs , my allergies started affecting me. There was no more room available for them to switch . Bad experience would not recommend this hotel .

One time staying I had my tub not draining well and pooling up water in the tub taking a shower. Another time the upstairs neighbor was loud like they were watching a sports game late into the night and early morning and I notified staff but they still made noise now and then. The beds are a bit too stiff for me and my back was hurting. Aside from this the rooms were clean and spacious and the blackout curtains are good for sleeping in after traveling. They also have breakfast in the mornings

The staff was amazing, Marylyn who did the breakfast area all by herself was phenomenal. Mike and heather and the front desk check in were great and very helpful! And the housekeeping staff was all on point! Excellent service by all the staff! The room was perfect for my stay. It even had a nice captains chair with a mini desk so I could work. They were extremely accommodating at such a stressful time of evacuating from a hurricane on the other coast. I could not have picked a better hotel to escape to!

It was just a place for me to shower and sleep. Was moving son into college....Basically what i expected....Some stains here or there but overall fine for this type of stay.

Unfortunately, the room we were initially assigned had a broken AC unit, smelled like old cigarettes, and I disliked the stained bathtub. It was also missing the crib we ordered. However, when we requested to transfer to another room, the staff accommodated immediately. Overall, the hotel has been given a few upgrades (especially the lobby), but it’s almost like the upgrade project ended halfway. There are no locks on the bathroom doors within each room (you can forget privacy) and the water pressure from the shower was like a slow faucet drip. I also had a brown stain on one of my pillows, and I don’t even want to postulate where that came from. At best…average. And at least the hotel offers complimentary breakfast.

Definitely would stay again. Location close to many things.

Stephanie and the manager at the front desk were wonderful.

This staff never gives you an early check in. I got so frustrated that I came back around 3:30 to assure my check in. Another issue is the disorganized desk. You would help housekeeping by writing down the rooms of guests that checked out early and in this way they can start cleaning those rooms and avoid them knocking (at 10:30 am) on doors of guest who prefer to leave at 11:00 am. But I reckon it's too much to ask of the front desk clerk.

Several items missing at 8:30 am for breakfast and no coffee. A few people let the staff know, also at the reception. Answer:” I am sure she maybe brewing it”. It took another 20 minutes and several other guests to ask for it until finally the only server came out of the kitchen and brought it. Same with everything else missing, very slow service at an early hour. No fruits or healthy choices. No the friendliest people at the reception either, at check in they were mostly interested in their private chats and laughs.
