The room was big but furniture with signs of use. Parking was good. old bathroom, few amenities. The elevator was like a cargo one with dirty rug. Breakfast was awful. staff decent, the hotel looks ok outside, but inside needs renovation. It was too expensive for what it offer.

No carpet in the room we stayed in! It was close to the highway so it was really loud. It almost sounded like the window was open. Also didn’t have blackout curtains.

Very clean, well-lit, made you feel safe location. Clean room, and very comfortable. Delicious morning breakfast with a conscientious staff. Only thing I'd say I wasn't thrilled about was the outdoor pool was closed. Was told so during check-in after I asked if there was a pool. Desk attendant made it obvious to not go near the pool. All I really wanted to do was just to sit out by it and relax in the beautiful NC sunshine. Wasn't even given an option for that.

The location was nice and the outside of the property was clean. The room was outdated. It smelled very musty/moldy. There was mold in the bathroom. The door leading to the outside did not seem to shut easily and then felt loose. It made me nervous.

Property is under construction. Noise and mess everywhere. Not sure why they are even taking reservations and at a minimum they should be letting people know the situation prior to arrival.

The front desk staff at the Burlington Elon location are absolutely wonderful! Friendly and remember me every time I stay here!!! Will continue to stay here when inn Burlington! Room had leftover food from previous guests that cleaning staff missed. Usually much better than this!

Our room was actually a bedroom and a little living room with a sleep sofa, which was great because we could have our daughter come spend the night (we were visiting her at college). It's quite spartan, but had everything we needed and is in a good location for local shopping and easy highway access.

The people at this hotel will go.out of their way to.make your stay agreable.

One traveler to another… don’t eat at the local IHOP… just don’t!! If you feel inclined to try it look at the ceilings. Parts of the ceiling have mold by the intake vents and none of the ceiling tiles are without issues… not one single ceiling tile looks like it has ever been changed since it opened.

They were remodeling which was fine, except the workers blocked the rooms. They were also banging an hammer on Sunday evening ant 9pm. The ice machines, and vending machines everyday. Key cards stopped working 3 times. One of the two ice machines was out of order.

My 2 day stay was good. Staff was very friendly and professional. The room I was i. Was very clean. I will say the hotel needs some updating. Inwould recommend the hotel.

Clean and comfortable, and what made it stand was the wonderful staff.

Cons: Not enough towels and washcloths in bathroom. Free breakfast is what you’d expect. Hotel’s ridiculously close proximity to I-85 makes sleeping in a front-facing room nearly impossible unless you’re a very heavy sleeper or you have difficulty hearing. Tile work being done in hallway directly outside our room until 9:30 at night. Tiling tools and supply mess all over the hallway.

The front desk staff, housekeeping, general manager and male dining room host were friendly and welcoming,. Most of all the pleasant greetings when you enter or exit the hotel were always the same across the above mention staff. This a plus because they are aware of the guests and interactions at the hotel.

The hotel and room itself were ok. They are doing renovations on some rooms but they put us underneath a room having night renovations when the hotel had lots of availability. We had to pack up all of our things and move at bedtime to a quiet room as the banging up above was literally shaking our walls. Never should have happened and because we booked through a third party (Expedia) there was no mention of compensation for the inconvenience and ridiculousness of something that never should have happened.

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen staff and cleaning service staff also very cordial and friendly. The room was clean, but it had a really strange odor. The heating/cooling system was very outdated and it was wither freezing or sweat box hot, there was not really a great balance in temp. Breakfast was decent, what you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. The mattress and pillows were not comfortable- woke up with hip and back pain. The pillows were thin and if I’d have to guess similar to a prison pillow- bring your own pillow! All things considered it was a decent place to stay and next time I’d bring a pillow and air freshener.

My Country Inn stay visit was very pleasant. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. As I observed, their interactions with guests, all of the staff associates were nice to guests. The housekeepers kept the rooms well maintained, clean and organized as well as friendly. The amenities were inviting.

Overall good stay. Friendly staff. Rolms felt a little dated and in a non-smoking hotel, had lingering stale smoke smell.

The rooms were spacious, and I loved the extra sitting area attached to the bedroom. The breakfasts were basic and could be improved in that area. The gym lacked free weights, which was disappointing, but I do plan to return due to the spacious rooms.

Everything was excellent just as expected. The breakfast was very good. The food was put out very nicely, the coffee was great. The attendant went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed.

The vinyl couch had some dirt that could have been wiped in between guests. Chair cushion seams coming undone. Bathroom could have been fresher looking and less “used” looking. Ceiling had drop tiles that looked dated and not “fresh”. Heavy caulking with spots in it. Shower curtain had mildew discoloration at the bottom and I’m always a stickler for seeing hairs upon arrival. I can’t be the only one who dislikes loose hairs in a hotel room (or anywhere for that matter). It was not dirty, it just could look newer and/or fresher. There was room for improved attention for detail that could have been easily fixed.

Staff was helpful and very understanding when it appeared that I didn't have a reservation when attempting to check-in. Desk clerk was great and got us a room, but we had to pay more than Expedia guaranteed it for. Found out this happens occasionally, and it was rectified in the morning by the manager. Definitely not the hotel's fault, it was Expedia that didn't notify them of my reservation! Although I had a copy of the receipt. Other than a musty smell in the room, and no fresh fruit at breakfast. It was ok. Probably not go back to this particular location if I was ever in the area again.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast was very good. The staff at breakfast was excellent.

Just okay- nothing special. We asked for a one bedroom which we were assigned, but the door didn’t close between the rooms. Both the bedroom and bathroom doors were oversized (as if for an ADA room) so the bed didn’t allow room for the door to close. The pool was very small, in full sun, and had very limited hours. The couch and chairs were not comfortable. Breakfast was good and kept well stocked and clean.

4 star on the cleanliness- the cleaning crew didn’t check the mini fridge because the previous occupants leftovers were still in there. So, makes you wonder was the rest of the room cleaned?

This was a single-night stay during an extended trip through VA & NC. The room was clean & comfortable. The person working the front desk was friendly. This property certainly met our needs for the evening, but would not be my first choice for an extended stay.

The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the low grade traffic noise from the highway out front. It was tolerable but recommend you get a room in the rear of the hotel if possible.

Nice hotel. Clean. Good location. However what happened at check-in I have never experience anywhere in my 40 years of travel. Arrived to check in . I asked where the room was located, since the hotel faces on one side a major highway. Person at the front desk: at the back. Great is there an entrance? That was the end! A cascade of attitude language and offensive behavior ensued, culminating with the threat three times!! she was going to check me out!!! Person working that Monday at 6pm should be fired!!! Beyond belief! Forget the fact that I was spending 1100.00 on a 9 night stay!! I would have left however that was a penalty and decided to stay.!

This is an okay cheap place to stay with a good size room. The queen beds were nice, clean, as well as the bathroom. We didn’t like the gap under the door into our room. It was a good inch or so so we shoved something under there when we went to sleep. Also we had planned to use the pull out couch bed but when we opened it up it was disgusting, extremely dirty so we quickly closed it back up. Also please make sure the shower bottles are full as ours were just about empty.

Very friendly desk staff, welcoming reception with fresh baked cookies, coffee. Breakfast had lots of choices and was ready 30 minutes before we expected which was a nice bonus before we left. Room was fine. Clean but nothing fancy or super modern. Worked to sleep and shower.

The front desk clerks were really nice, especially Dory, who I interacted with the most. She got me into a room quickly, even though I arrived an hour early. The daily breakfast was great and I enjoyed my stay. Definitely recommend.

Prefectly adequate hotel. My only complaints are: (1) the first room we were offered had a fan blowing loudly and was obviously post - flood, and (2) in the second room, the door to the bedroom wouldn't close because the bed was blocking the door.

The front desk person was very friendly. However, I'd asked for a double queen and we got a king with a sofa bed. My friend tossed and turned all night - she could feel every spring on the mattress on the sofabed. The king bed was none too comfortable, either.

The room was phenomenal it was big and comfortable. The breakfast was great.

Very respectful, attentive and accommodating staff. However, the room wasn’t as clean as I like. Hair in the tub and on the bed sheets, back of the toilet seat had some stains, wasn’t sure if it was from a cleaning products or the previous occupant. Other than that, the room was in good order. Fridge, countertops, and microwave were spotless. I do think the property could use a refresh. New shower walls, bathroom fixtures and hardware for the doors.

The tub seemed very small, even for taking a shower. On the other hand, the curtain system did well at keeping the floor dry. The room was very neat, spacious, and well kept.
