Bad toilet

It was a great location, and room itself (bed, bathroom) were pretty decent. They room had a foul odor. We ended up leaving the window open and the air running the whole time we were there.

Location, only motel this town has so unfortunately no choice.

Property was poorly maintained. Trash and cigarette butts everywhere. Bathroom did not have hair dryer, and only provided a bar of soap. No shampoo or conditioner. The sink in the kitchenette did not drain. Pet area was a slab of fake plastic grass that looked to have never been hosed off. There was dog feces all over it. The gentleman who runs the front desk and who I’m guessing the owner was beyond rude. He was short with any question I had. When I got my key, it would not unlock room door so I had to go back for another key. He acted like this was such a burden for him. When my husband and I went to take our dog to find an area to use for a potty break, we went up front. The gentleman came running out of the lobby, aggressively opened the door and screaming at us about the dog. I would recommend paying extra money and staying elsewhere. Staff was rude, facility’s were unkept, room was dirty, and it was missing amenities it stated it had.

I was quite upset to wake up and found someone had door dinged the rental I have rented for the weekend. I wish people would be more careful.

No breakfast. Location was convenient. The TV did not work, there wasn't any remote for the AC unit which was mounted high on the wall. The TV in the room next to mine was left on from mid afternoon through the night and was loud enough to hear through the wall.

Pleasant

I have seen Motels within the Motel 6 chain Gary widely in appearance over the years. This location has to be the most welcoming and well-kept location I've ever seen. Thank you to the property owners and staff for the clean and comfortable accommodations.

Top floor room was much nicer than the bottom floor. Our stay was nice and quiet this time.

Clean the heater was noise. Shut is off. Person next door was outside drinking beer with a case. Person upstairs was shower and walking around.

We had an overnight, so not there long, but it was easy and finctional.

Room was to muggy and dry Shower head was really low and hard to shower When I showed up there was gross smudges All over the walls.

Going down hill over the years. I have visited for 8 years. May not come back next time. Manager yelled at me, then his wife did. How about “Welcome to Motel 6. How was your trip? Well, I hope you enjoy your stay! “. Just a suggestion, might bring customers back.

Motel was very old but just remodeled and very clean. Very sparse. Don't expect coffee. Don't expect any breakfast of any nature. No amenities whatsoever, bare walls and a bed. Mattress was excellent. And it was very quiet. Parking lot was good also.

We would definitely stay again.

I booked a non smoking room but i think i got the only smoking room on the property. The room absolutely reeked but after traveling all day alone with a 4 year old and him being asleep when i got there i was absolutely too exhausted to go back down to the lobby. The shower didn't drain and it was actually terrifying in there. Would not have showered unless i absolutely had to. The sheets were clean though, i will give them that.

The person who checked me in barely spoke to me and didn't look at me at all. Got to the room to fine 2 broken beds (sagging in the middle and down one side). There were huge daddy longleg spiders in 2 corners and I killed a 3rd spider on the wall. We left immediately. Didn't check out, didn't stay the night. I knew there was no chance that another room would be cleaner or that I'd get a refund.

It's very simple. The beds are not as comfy as would like but for the price and purpose I was grateful. The gentleman up front was very kind. He gave me my room that was still being cleaned and instead of making me wait he gave me a different room.

Our room was dirty, the walls looked like something was spilled on it. The staff weren’t really nice they had an attitude, the office smelted really bad. There was a homeless person sleeping in their car in the parking lot. I think it’s expensive for the things we got

Showed up to check in and was told I had no reservation and no rooms were available. Ended up sleeping in the car then the hotel attempted to charge my card anyway. The front office smelled horrible and I could barely understand the rude person at the counter.

Property and hotel was great. Coffee in lobby in the mornings. Room was good, maid service while we were there was added bonus, we wernt expecting that. Easyaccess to 2nd floor by stairs. We could hear our neighbors very clearly thru the wall tho, so pretty thin walls. And the lobby door was locked one morning when we tried to go in for coffee.

Room 116. Super large room with one king size bed. Lots of room to move around and table with two chairs!! Fridge and microwave. Bathroom with tub shower with grab bars, sink, and counterspace, a separate holding area just outside the bathroom, then a separate meal prep area, with a sink,, rarely found in a value hotel room. Would definitely stay again! No breakfast. But coffee is available. Shampoo and hairdryer upon request.

They had no room available and the counter clerk was rude about it. He claimed I was at fault for using hotels.com. Anytime I’ve used hotels.com at other places and there was any concerns, the hotels will send a message through the app. They should have contacted me in a timely manner and said I’m sorry but there was a mistake, but we have no rooms available.

We had an overnight stay and requested accessibility for handicapped. It met all our needs. Nice room. Chairs for any size person, and a nice, safe accessible bathroom with great safety features. We would definitely stay here again!

Bugs all over

While checking in, staff attempted to charge me again for the stay after I had previously paid Expedia. Room needed maintenance to the curtains, trimwork and the non smoking room smelled of smoke. Also key cards had to be reset twice. Will look for alternative options for future stays.

It’s always nice staying here for the ren faire. Staff are nice, the rooms are good, and we always feel safe.

Check-in staff was rude and impossible to understand. She assigned me a room with the view of the door completely blocked by a brick wall (safety concern for any woman) and only gave me 1 of the 2 key cards she made for the room (again, big safety concern). Room reeks of air freshener and the inside of the door is all scratched up, so I'm guessing there's been a large dog staying here. Would not stay there again, no matter the price.

No vending machine or deli as advertised. Only 3 pillows for a king sized bed. Weird grooss looking brown stuff on the ceiling.

The shower was clogged, and the all linens were covered in stains and hair. The room was so dirty, we chose not to stay the night - it was completely unsanitary.

I get it, the cost of a room here is very inexpensive. The issue is, it's the only game in town. It would be great if they could raise the quality, which of course means the cost would go up. It would be a win for them and a win for someone looking for more than a low quality, cheap place to stay. And better customer service wouldn't cost a dime more!

The room is plain, but clean. The owners are friendly and helpful. However, on this night, our neighbor was busy "entertaining" and the walls are thin. We had to keep our TV up all night in order to get some sleep.

There as no directions given for check out so we had to wake the same man up at 5 am to leave. There were no heating u it’s or heaters in either of the two rooms we stayed in! NO extra blankets either

Great location! It’s very clean, just dated. We had neighbors move in late in the evening and there was no sound resistance at all. They might have well been in the room with us it was so loud. Other than that, it was perfect and very affordable.

Tweeker next door talked all night not kid friendly. Definitely had one in the chamber

The motel maid does an excellent job.

The room needs repair and the bathroom door washed. The smell of the sheets was a very strong smell that we could not have by our heads. The manager wasnt even in the office at 715 am for us to check out and greeted us in his pajamas.There was a coffee pot but no coffee. The room seem3d clean though except for the bathroom door.

Easy excess to stores and bars near by. Rooms are big and roomy.

My stay was nice n quiet. I got some much needed redt. Resteraunts in walking distance. Plenty of lical events to attend.

The room was tidy with lots of room, storage area, closet, refrigerator and microwave. It also has a small kitchenette with a sink and vanity area. Room was cleaned and towels were restocked every day. Close to Safeway, shops, pretty state park, and a quaint downtown area. It was a good experience.

I only stayed for one night. The room was clean and there was plenty of space. The bath tub was a little banged up and the towels were old. But, overall it wasn’t too bad. I think I had a better experience because my expectations were extremely low.

Horrible customer service with the front desk lady as well. I had to even get my back worked on after staying at this hotel because of how bad their beds were.

The room was amazingly clean! Lots of towels! Parking lot very well lit up overnight. Looked dumpy outside but inside was nice. TV had no local channels to watch local news but had Root Sports so I was able to watch my Seattle Mariners game! Owner/desk clerk rude! I had to stand there almost 10 minutes waiting for service while he was yacking on the phone in some Arabic language so I went out and waited in my car. After almost a half hour he came out and got me.

Stayed in Canby because of cost.

First off I found what looked like a cockroach running past refrigerator, crunched it with my shoe. Bedding had NOT been changed!! Found hairs and indentations on pillows & sheets-threw them ALL on the floor luckily had own bedding with me.

We arrived and went to check in, we did get our keys. The guy at the first desk didn't speak english well. We asked what he would recommend for a place to eat. Thai was the only word he could speak that we understood. Our next door neighbors had the TV on loud until 4 am. I will not go to a Motel 6 again, you should not ever stay at one. Spend the money to get better quality of a place. This is the third one I stayed at and I'm sorry I did. Stay away from Motel 6, all of them

The construction in front of the parking was still going on after 1030 pm on a Sunday night . It was loud!The price was way high for a No coffee pot,hair dryer and the bed was very uncomfortable. For the price not worth it!!!!

Owner was super rude and double charged me after I told him I was checking in my online reservation. Luckily the owner’s daughter offered me a refund for that charge. Reserved a non-smoking room and everything in the room including the sheets reeked of cigarettes. Paid for 3 nights but only stayed one night due to terrible smell of cigarettes all over the room. Would not recommend to anyone else.

We arrived really late but front desk was still open. Key did not work the first time but we asked for two and those worked. Room was ok, happy to have king size bed. Slept well but there was road construction in the morning. Wasn’t their fault. Checked out with gentleman who was nice.

The hotel is safe ,the rooms are good n.for those that aren't smoking this is a good place to stay ,you can walk to a restaurants, safe to walk nice place

Room was dirty there were stains on the walls dead bugs in the bathroom and cigarette ashes INSIDE the made bed the safety lock on door had been kicked in and office was not open to check out spent 30 minutes trying to get someone to come to the door to check out.

The manager was extremely rude and the neighbors talked loudly in front of our window until 1am. The blankets were very thin and so were the walls. Our room was not ready at check in. Price was high for a poor experience.

My stay was adequate. The A/C was noisy (aren’t they all). The front door had to be muscled open and shut which is a minor issue.

The room was okay. The second floor exterior halls are glassed in or something and they are hot as hell and uncomfortable just walking from the statues to your room

Hotel room was clean, quiet as far as outside noise. Shower head was way too low. Air conditioning unit was extremely loud, and blew way to much even on low. Was like a freight train!

The best motel 6 I've stayed at, very clean, nice employees. The deluxe room with fridge and microwave is the best, and having joining rooms was the greatest thing for my 11 month old to be able to cruise around. And they had parking for a 26 foot uhaul towing an auto transport which was very convenient.

The building is well kept and the suroundimgs are safe.

Arrived around late hours for my checkin and no one was in the office. Room was really dirty and the staff was rude. Walls are very thin so you heard everthing.

It was the cleanest in the three we went to.
