Window left open without a screen, room full of bugs, fridge doesn’t work, no vents/fan in bathroom, covers worn, no chair so can’t finish work with any sense of comfort, buttons in elevator not lighting up, fire extinguisher out of date in hall outside our room which I checked because of the faulty wiring in the room, chargers would go on and off

Clean room and nice breakfast that’s normal of an Inn hotel. Clean shower was very nice.

The room was updated, however a light was not working, no batteries in the remote. It was an over night stay for sleep and shower, it worked. Staff (1 person) you had to ring a bell for service otherwise he was not seen. I'd say more of a 2.5 rate.

Noisy!!! Night clerk. Talked on phone in guest hallway very loudly. Twice asked him to be quieter. Turned up music in lobby too loud. No tv. Broken shower.

Missed it as I left before 6 AM start Carpet smelled like cheap vinyl, seems most of the hotel is in some state of repair. Need to vacuum hallways.

The property is going through a complete Reno. The room we stayed in was super clean. There was no bathroom vanity, no chair for the desk, no coffee maker. The front desk attendant was super good as we checked in late in the evening and he was helpful with luggage getting us to our room. Will stay there again.

Nothing, it should not be open. No hot water, no coffee, no tv, no working door latches, construction debris everywhere. Bad!!

Looks to be newly taken over lots new things in the works

Property is under construction. Dust and debris everywhere. No breakfast, not even coffee in the rooms.

Our room was on the third floor and currently part of the renovation area, so the space felt updated and fresh. The room itself was new and nicely done. The Wi-Fi worked most of the time, though the TVs only offered streaming apps rather than local channels. When entering the building, there was a strong odor—similar to burnt garlic—that felt a bit overwhelming. The walls are quite thin, making it easy to hear nearby conversations. The shower had low water pressure, and the hot water ran out quickly. On a positive note, housekeeping was friendly, efficient, and quick to help when needed. Overall, while this isn’t a brand-new hotel, it’s clear they’re making improvements. That said, the price felt a bit high for the experience.

This hotel is undergoing a remodel, and the rooms are nice. Hard floors throughout the entire hotel, new mattresses, new furniture and new furnishings. It's not a five star hotel, but it's comfortable, convenient, and offers a great location.

Elevator is a bit scary. Hallways are under constuction

We did not stay. It smelled like mold when we walked in and we left our suitcases. There went and did our business in Karen and then went back and picked up our suitcases and left. We didn’t ask for a refund. It was just not clean the gentleman at the front desk was very nice Maintenance on the building needs to be done cleaning deep cleaning

There was no breakfast. It took few phone calls to get somebody to the front desk to check me in. There was no receipt.

The place was under construction. Room was clean, poor breakfast.

Bed was very comfortable. I didn’t know it was being remodeled so several things in room didn’t work. There was no breakfast except some cereal. I didn’t even see milk.

Filthy dirty

Awful experience. Someone spilled a drink on the floor before us, and it wasn't cleaned. The tub faucet dripped, and the solution seemed to be to remove the drain plug to reduce the noise, but I could still hear it.

Whole place was dirty, walls, blankets, floors, sink, toliet had pubic hair in it, elevator, breakfast area, everything is run down. I didnt want to touch anything or take off my shoes. The dirty tub had no water pressure and the water didnt even get hot. Breakfast bar consisted of 3 cereals and a scary milk jug, big no for me.A group of guys were sitting smoking in front of the door at arrival and upon leaving.I rather have slept in my car. I do not recommended it if you can avoid it. There are other places close by. I havent stayed at those but they cant be worse.

Room was not clean. TV remote did not work. Worst of all. Woke up at 3am itching. Thoroughly bitten by bed bugs.

Some parts of the room need a deep cleaning. The coffee maker was dusty and its electrical outlet was falling out of the wall. Not safe. Didn't work. Bed was comfortable.

It was very dirty with drippings on walls, around the toilet was yuck, old food left in room refrigerator, old coffee filter, stains on towels. I booked at this location because it offered breakfast. That was a huge let down daily. The cereal was old and stale, milk was out dated, juice carton looked like someone drank from it, the syruped was left open the entire time i was there, knowing the surround areas were never wiped or cleaned. There was nothing else to eat but the stale cereal and out dated drinks in the refrigerator. No one was ever at the front desk. It was a total disappointment.

Good price and excellent service

It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing - just a loaf of bread, peanut butter, jelly, and a few sugar cereals. We ended up going to the gas station for breakfast instead.

The room was dirty. The bathroom had hair all over as if it had not been cleaned after the last guest.

I can’t believe that this building meets code but desperate with no hotels available in ELKO due to mining expo.

Perfect stop over. Provided a good nights rest and comfortable stay. Will return again

No smoke detector in the room in the showers were very bad hard water have plugged the shower head so it was limited to how much came out

Elevator quit working so I had to take the stairs. Key to room didn’t work. Driveway into parking lot was full of potholes.

This property is a dump that is falling apart. Every detail of the place was ancient and gross. The lamp shade had what appeared to be blood stains on it.

In good condition, pretty new, clean, check in easy , but brief, no extra information about the area. Price is good. Near the freeway and lots of semis but not to noisy considering, ok for a night stopover.

Dirty bedding, bugs, dirty air conditioner, felt unsafe and unsanitary. Left after only 30 min to find different hotel.

The room was very dirty. There were exposed wires hanging from the ceiling in our room. The toilet constantly ran. The shower curtain was not long enough so the water from the shower just went out to the floor.Ice machine did not work even on the second floor ice machine did not work. The free breakfast was very basic. The guy who checked us in at the front desk, was not friendly at all.

This property is filthy, run down and in need of maintenance. The rooms we booked didnt have smoke detectors in them. Im sure this is a local and state violation. If you value your safety and that of your families find another hotel.

I woke up all bitten by bedbugs

nothing crew was so disrespectfull said they allowed pets then the worker started talking on his phone in a different language and then said your puppy could not stay and he had the worst attitude ever I will never stay there again or recommend anyone to stay there

Staff were friendly, check in was easy. Everything was clean which is most important to me. Only downside was that the shower head was almost completely blocked with limescale. Overall good value and convenient overnight stay.

No housekeeping during stay, breakfast was cereal and bread which is fine I guess but the coffe was constantly old and cold

rooms was big beds was soft bath shower combo was amazing in size as well as hot water pressure, breakfast was pancakes cereal milk. tv channels was the most I have ever received while staying at a motel. very quiet didn't hear any noise especially since it is right next to a major highway. if you need food there are 5 stores within a 1 block walk. everything clean had microwave refrigerator 2 sinks heater worked amazing will stay again

Advertised continental breakfast. Nothing was set up or available, not even coffee. Took awhile to warm up the room and to get hot water for shower.

No fans in the bathroom. Poor water pressure. Ice machine didn’t work. Light bulbs didn’t work and some of the lights in the room. Elevator didn’t work half the time. Not clean at all. Beds were decent that’s about it.

it suited the purpose

The only reason why I give this a 3 (decent) was it exceeded my expectations and we did not have bed bugs. Location. The only option in the middle of nowhere.

The worst, sheet has big red stained, asked the clerk for new sheets and his answer was are you scared. Said they were permanent stains. Trash in hallways, two cats coming out of rooms with door cracked open. Large stinky trash cart left in hallway all night. Shady people hanging around lobby with clerk.

TV didn’t work. I the machine didn’t work overcharged for two beds. Had to go get a refund.

The place smells heavily of fabuloso

The rooms smell funny. All the locks on the windows were broken (tried 3 rooms). Every room is furnished differently. The facility is very dated and all the rooms I tried had maintenance issues. It’s the only place to stay in town and was completely empty when I was there. Everyone said to stay in Elko, 25 minutes away.

The smoking smells horrible, restroom and shower needs a divider, clapping noise on every step on the floor room.

Doesn't look like the night photo on the web. Daytime- dirty/unkempt outside - weeds in the sidewalks, water hose left out, lobby dirty. Didn't get as far as looking at the room! Stayed elsewhere.

Very unfriendly staff at check in, breakfast amenities were refused due to unwillingness to help. We were interrupted at 9:30am asking when we would check out when we already specified it was at 11

My car broke down so I had to stay here, I would not recommend anyone to bring your family here. Manager is not polite and twice he walked into the room very early in the morning one of those times I was in the restroom. Rooms are not clean, fridge didn't work and restroom sink was clogged.

Front door padlocked at night, had to walk around to back to get back in when loading my truck @ 5:00am, no sign saying that! Padlocking main entrance is a violation, especially without signage. Have to call for Desk Clerk to check-in! I get up at 4:00am for work, No hot water for shower & only 1 hand towel. This is Hotel 101 not Rocket Science

Got bed bugs

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Bugs are everywhere. If this was the only hotel just sleep in your car. Up at 3:00 am with big bug's climbing on us. Was frustrated told that they didn’t have my non refundable reservation. When we through a fit they found a room. Wish I would have slept in the car.

The bathroom was dirty with dirt and hair on the floor and mold on the ceiling and walls. There were no bath towels provided at all. I phoned the front desk at 7am. No answer. I then walked down to the front desk where I found someone who offered to bring some towels up to the room. She did, with two or three Chihuahuas nipping at her heels. The exercise room looks dirty and is a joke. The place appears nice on the outside but is a disappointment on the inside. This hotel was probably worth the price at one time. However, it is over-priced now and in serious decline.

Upon entering the property a phone call had to be made to get anyone to come assist the customer. Then their computer showed no reservation until I proved the reservation on my mobile phone. Room key was issued but then changed to another room as we entered the facility loaded down with luggage. Upon going down for breakfast, it was disappointing to find a rotten orange in the bowl, very little cold cereal left and nothing to put in the toaster.

Needs more service help!

Its pretty run down even though its been through a remodel. Don't count on breakfast or the tv working or getting help from the front desk. Had water damaged drywall through out the room. And DO NOT stay in room 212, unless you like a bright room all night. Its really the only place to stay in Carlin, so you get what you get.

Very close to the freeway tl getting to and from the hotel was easy. Staff was very polite and check in and out was a breeze.

The staff were friendly. But the entire property was disgustingly dirty. As you walk to the entrance, the garbage cans are overflowing and there is garbage piled up next to the garbage cans as well (both front and rear entrance). The windows on the entire building have not been cleaned in what seems for years. The floors are filthy inside the entire building, including the hallways, the elevator and inside the hotel room. The floor in our bathroom has obviously not been cleaned for a long time and had pubic hairs and other filth. The sheets in our bed had hair all over them so we got new sheets from the staff. The new sheets had blood stains. So we got new sheets, again. This time they only had cigarette stains. The one chair in the room was stained and filthy. The breakfast area was also disgustingly dirty and the milk offered was a shared gallon of milk. This place is probably ok for those that are used to sleeping in filthy conditions. But for having paid for two rooms for two nights, we expected at least clean sheets and clean rooms.

The bed was very comfortable though.

There was only one wash cloth and one hand towel for two people. Front desk staff has to be summoned via telephone at all times of the day.

Room was dirty and run down. The breakfast offered was a bowl of cereal and some sunny delight. Not worth the money paid. Motel 6 is better. So sad.
