Cons: Room did not look at all as depicted
- 5/5
We had just stayed two nights in a much less satisfactory motel in Idaho. When I stepped into the office at Cashmere Inn I was greeted warmly and treated like a valued guest - which was the opposite of my experience in Idaho. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well-appointed. We were very satisfied with every aspect of our stay. Thank you!!
- 5/5
A hidden gem! The room was incredibly clean, stocked with what you need (including plastic utensils for when you bring leftovers back to the room for a late night snack). The beds were surprisingly comfortable, liked by both hard and soft bed lovers alike. Will be back!
- 5/5
This hotel has very basic rooms that are clean and available at a decent price.
- 4/5
Room was very clean. We were upstairs but there were lots of cigarettes butts below the stairs near our room. Looks like the area had not been cleaned in awhile. There was no soap in the dispenser in the shower/toilet room. The bigger sink was clogged when we arrived. The toilet also clogged for no obvious reason but I was able to unplug it. There was only one bedside table and the bed was too close to the window. Our room was close to the street so we could easily hear traffic noise. The hotel is very close to the main part of town which was nice since the town is very walkable. Overall, the room was clean and was a good value.

We wanted to visit Leavenworth for a few days but not spend $250 or more for a room that the motels in Leavenworth charge. We knew that we would be exploring Peshastin, Wenatchee and Leavenworth all day and only needed a place in the evening to shower, sleep and catch up on email and social media. So we didn't need multiple rooms or a kitchen or a pool...The Cashmere Motel was perfect for us. We stayed two nights in their very lowest priced room...$61/night and it was fine. Very clean and a basic room on the second floor. There is a train that went through town but it didn't even wake us up. Other than the clickity-clack of the train the place was quiet, comfortable and convenient. The staff were very kind and helpful. After those two nights we rebooked into a different room...one grade up. I believe it was $73/night. It was definately a bit bigger and had chairs and a table...and a softer mattress...and a tub and shower rather than a walk-in shower only. Either room worked for us...and the place is handy and clean and the staff is friendly. I recommend it highly for folks like us on a budget who want clean, quiet and comfortable.
- 5/5
Super quiet, bed was comfy. The tv had all the apps to watch. I senates in a remodeled room before and this time not remodeled and I would stay at either one. I booked through Expedia which had the best deal and no deposit required. Will be back!!
- 3/5
Bathrooms need updating. There was no desk…only a hard wooden chair.
- 4/5
The office was only open for a few hours each day and that was where the ice machine was. They only had one washcloth in the room. However, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was great. The tv was problematic.
- 5/5
parking is easy
- 5/5
lovely place right near the river and downtown :]
- 5/5
Great motel great price
- 5/5
Very clean and nice room
- 5/5
I was in an uograded room. Very nice. Had everything I needed . Coffee maker and coffee etc. Netflix (had to use mine, but was available) Clean room, fridge.
- 5/5
The room isbt fancy, but very clean and comfortable. Which is very important to me.
- 4/5
Safe area. Beds a bit to firm for me! Otherwise it was a nice stay at very good prices.
- 5/5
It was a comfy room and the parking felt safe!
- 4/5
A very clean room , good parking. Lovely woman working the office. The bed could be improved, & a new mattress would make me return. Very affordable & quiet. Located in a nice neighborhood within walking distance to a sweet downtown. Thankyou.
- 4/5
Close to town, nice walk and beautiful area.
- 5/5
Property was nice and quiet and felt safe. Check-in and out was really easy and fast. Rooms were spacious and clean. Can’t really ask for anything more.
- 5/5
Very helpful staff. Clean rooms . Close to everything
- 2/5
Could see outside from around windows. Shower didn't work right. Staff was really nice.
- 5/5
super convenient, easy parking, affordable, large room #s on doors to avoid confusion :)
- 3/5
Pictures look good, in person not so good.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
place was walking distance to Cashmere little town. it is in a really nice area. only problem is that there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom and I’m certain there’s molds there
- 5/5
Clean room great service
- 2/5
Pictures were extremely misleading; our room was nothing at all like the examples. We were in a tiny room that had yellow cinderblock walls, red dated carpet, there was a bed and a single chair, no table. The bed was clean which I guess is all we really cared about, but the shower was tiny, think of a camping shower, and the lighting was extremely poor in the room. Also under the bed was trash left over from the previous night obviously (fake rose petals).
- 4/5
Clean comfortable quiet
- 5/5
Very good
- 1/5
The room just felt soooo dirty, one of our pillows smelled like BO so bad and the bed had hair on it that was not ours. This just made us feel super gross, we are not picky people and knew it was a cheaper place and wouldn’t be the nicest but it was gross and i would never choose to stay here ever again. I dont even know if they washed our sheets after the last person left. I will say the staff was very kind but that was the ONLY good part of our stay.
- 5/5
Good stay
- 4/5
Everything was good ,old school motel.l that was clean and convenient
- 3/5
King bed was ok, would say 3/5 since it was low and did not seem firm enough. Train noise was not expected— 3 trains one night, 2 trains another. Nice to have the provided earplugs.
- 5/5
Cute little town. Friendly staff. Had everything we needed.
- 5/5
Easy check in and check out! Convenient location for someone traveling with no car rental only a 4 min walk to the bus stop and 20 min bus ride to Leavenworth!
- 3/5
This was more like a motel with the door being right in front of your parking spot
- 1/5
It's a dump I could have stayed at the inn at the Spanish head for less I've stayed in nicer motel 6.s it was clean is the only positive
- 2/5
Bare bones, felt unsafe and gross
- 1/5
The pictures show modern, updated rooms until you get to the very end. Review pictures carefully! Our room was quite dated and felt like a jail cell.
- 5/5
Not a luxury hotel by any means but the room was very clean. Staff accommodated our request for a first floor room. Basic hotel that worked out as a place to sleep
- 1/5
My trip was canceled due to roads clusures and poor weather. I contacted the Cashmire inn while on the road to cancel my reservation. They said no problem and processed my payment in full due to the supposed policies in place requiring 24 hours notice. I cant predict road closures or bad weather. I am disputing this charge and will never again use this medium unless this is resolved to my satisfaction. Merry Christmas!
- 5/5
Felt welcomed, everything was clean and no noise which was great !
- 3/5
Great little town, good customer service, but rooms a little small and bed very hard. Overall, had a great trip and close to Leavenworth.
- 5/5
Great thank you
- 3/5
Sadly the linens are quite worn and questionably clean, found a black hair in the made up bed. The king sized premium room mattress is broken down and in need of replacement. Disappointed but you get what you pay for as is evident in this Cashmere Inn. The area rug was downright dirty. The bathroom needed a deeper clean than the wipe down it appears to have gotten, shower curtain was quite dirty. Hand towels were missing and only one washcloth. No trash in the bathroom areas. The staff was never worked with face to face but phone manner was pleasant and courteous. The grounds and neighborhood was not scary. Our Premium king room was right next to a main road so the traffic noise was disturbing until late into the night and began again about 4:00 am. The trains make their presence known quite distinctly, but that is no fault of the inn however. The walls and ceiling are thin so expect to hear everything from above you or your neighbors.😬 Overall not pleasant. Disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.
- 5/5
Safe place, easy parking, great staff, good price too for 3 people
- 4/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Sunny was very accommodating and was very helpful -help us find transportation to Leavenworth via the bus. I was just a wonderful person to deal with.
- 2/5
The key pad lock didn’t work but the staff was friendly and quickly gave us a key. The room was big but the towels were stained and the bathroom walls were dirty. The price for the room was very inflated due to the Leavenworth Christmas market.
- 3/5
The mattress was a foam only slab that was very inadequate. The room was smaller than expected. The manager, Stephanie, was very helpful. You can look elsewhere but it looks like they are the only hotel/motel in town.
- 2/5
I talked to the manager, she apologized and said that's not there standard but didn't offer any discount after all the issues.
- 3/5
The staff, Stephanie was super nice and very friendly. I had called a week prior to our stay to cancel reservations for one of our rooms (we had 2) and Stephanie was very pleasant and canceled the reservation and started the process of the refund. The "Inn" is set up more like a roadside motel. The rooms are small and on an exterior corridor. There is no greenway/courtyard, no smoking area, parking is area is small and very tight. The room(s) smelled heavily of fragrance (air freshener or cleaner). The entry/exit dose have large gaps allowing significant draft. The rooms are clean(ish). The decor is a minimalistic "Ikea" sort of vibe. Significant challenge: Upon check in taff (Stephanie) was alerted of my service dog. However, after check out I was charged a pet fee. When i called to inquire, Stephanie told me another staff member must have put in place. She then advised that she could refund the charge if I would provide her with proof of my SA registration. After further discussion of legal rights and obligations Stephanie did process a return of funds, though I have not received any refund as of yet.
- 2/5
We left. It was dirty. We tried to speak with management but they were indifferent to our situation. There was dog food left in the room, dirty towels, and ur was rundown. Bathroom was gross.
- 5/5
Thank you
- 5/5
All good. Thanks 😊
- 5/5
Yes it was fine
- 4/5
room was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Wonderful staff
- 5/5
This was a very clean hotel that was perfect for us going to Oktoberfest in Leavenworth. I would 10 to 10 recommend it for anyone that wants a place to lay down their heads near Leavenworth.
- 2/5
This is a very basic hotel. Clean. Not updated in quite some time. Overpriced.
- 2/5
Sitting area on outside patio was filthy and had not been cleaned in a very long time. My idea was to enjoy the warm weather and read a book, but not enjoyable.
- 2/5
Why black paint, not cool for such a pretty town.
- 2/5
Very dirty. Right as you walk in the light does not work. Squished bugs in bathroom. Door actually off hinges in bathroom. Cant rate staff because we never saw anyone around.
- 3/5
Immediate response to toilet malfunction; early check in; friendly staff. Suggestions for bathroom: add trash can; could be cleaner/hair in shower.
- 2/5
Room is VERY dated. Looks like a hotel room from the 70's. Very unsafe. The smoke detector didn't work & had expired 2 years ago. Faulty wiring in the bathroom. You had to have the light turned on in order to use the electrical outlet. Shower curtain had mildew all along the bottom. Wouldn't not recommend staying here.
- 2/5
Room was dirty.
- 2/5
There was mildew in the bathroom, trash and debris under the bed, blood stains on wall, dried up liquid on carpet by dresser, bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever been in
- 5/5
Great place, friendly
- 5/5
Very hospitable hostess, Stephanie, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome.
- 2/5
Our stay was on a hot day, and the air conditioning unit blew right on the heads of the beds, so that our heads were freezing and the rest of our bodies were hot. The beds were also excessively firm. I only happened to check floors in the bathroom to wipe up some spilled water and the tissue came up black. Bathroom walls also showed some staining. We got back to the inn pretty late after attending a play in Leavenworth (a whole lot of fun!) but the parking lot was completely full, so we had to park on the street. Not a good fit for us. The person at the counter was very nice, however. The area was very walkable.
- 5/5
Location is excellent, the room is clean, modern, and very big! Strongly recommend!
- 2/5
I did like it was nice and neat cozy but what I did not like at all was the strong smell of some type of cleaner that gave a sinus infection, headache I was literally sneezing all night long I couldn’t sleep all night.
- 5/5
Great little property on the way to Leavenworth
- 5/5
Our room at the Cashmere Inn had been recently renovated and was clean and comfortable. It was a good value!
- 3/5
Used as a stopover in a quiet town. Rooms refurbed nicely. Rail line opposite. Weeds cafe round the corner for a great breakfast. V convenient and clean place.
- 5/5
Would go back text time I go to Casmer, Washington. Thanks
- 3/5
This is a bare bones room. It was dark on my arrival and very hard to find the light switch. A bottle/can opener would have been helpful. The clerk in the office was friendly and helpful in confirming my access code. Comfortable bed. Clean. No hair dryer. Ok for 1 night stay. Great breakfast cafe down the street, rec'd in the room info.
- 5/5
Clean and friendly
- 5/5
only one set of towels the first night for two of us. i rate these rooms a 1 star at best. although rate was cheap thats all this place was worth.
- 1/5
The room smelled, cigarette buds all over the front if the door, wasn't a good area. We didn't even stay there after we saw our room. We left ,the beds were really low too the floor very hard.
- 3/5
No services, room had an overwhelming smell of cleaning chemicals. Bed was very low to the floor.
- 3/5
0 food options. Super crowded parking lot. Very old, dated room. Not horrible, but VERY overpriced for a cinder block walled, 1970s with fresh paint, motel. Bathroom "clean" but incredibly outdated, even more than the rest if the place. Would not stay here again, but almost no rooms in 20+ miles
- 5/5
Cute place, comfy bed!
- 5/5
Very quiet area chill little town to walk thru
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and somewhat quiet. The air conditioner was quite noisy and did not run all night. The room got very hot when the system turned off.
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable with nice amenities.
- 2/5
When I looked on Expedia, there was 4 pictures all rooms were white with sheet rock. We ended up with the cement cinder blocks yellowish in colour. Very old bathroom floor had permanent wore out marks. Front desk was kind. I feel I was miss lead by the pictures.:(
- 3/5
Received several messages with questions before arrival and responded with a request for early checkin, but the request wasn’t responded to
- 5/5
I like that it was a pleasant modest and Independence Hotel. No Frills but a great comfortable bed after a long drive. The second host was pleasant and accommodating from a very late check in at 10:00 p.m. everything was easily walkable and it was a nice overnight stay
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
Charming little hotel with clean room. Welcoming and even had bottles of water waiting in our room. Very close drive to Leavenworth. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
The managers were friendly and helpful. Bottles of water and candy were in the room. The bed was comfortable but there was only one lamp in the room! Perhaps they are still.in the process of renovating- our shower had almost no water pressure and the toilet was slow flushing and sink slow draining. Definitely not an excellent property. Just ok.
- 5/5
Stayed one night on a way back from Mt Rainier NP. Clean, quiet and had a nice Mexican restaurant with very good food on the next block as well as other dining n drinking options. Very nice small town
- 4/5
In queen bed rooms the air conditioner would blow right into the first bed & that person was very cold.
- 5/5
I loved that they took an old motel property and completely renovated it. The result is clean, fun, and very comfortable! The bed was memory foam, which I really like, but some might think it a little too firm. I loved the shampoo, conditioner, and lotion offered in reusable containers. The only, very small glitch was that I requested an early check-in through Expedia and never heard back. But, when we arrived an hour early, they were happy to let me check in early to the room. Overall, a great experience in a great location!
- 4/5
Our stay was good. We would stay there again. We were in one of the budget rooms, which are in the process of being upgraded. The keyless entry worked to get in, but would not lock when leaving. We needed to get a key from the manager (who was quite nice and helpful). The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The toilet (very nice!) and tub were new. The bathroom door would not close because the top hinge was loose. The fixtures are nothing special. The sink had rust spots in it from dings. The blackout blinds were great!! The AC unit worked well. We were able to have our two dogs with us at a cost of $30/pet per stay. The mini-fridge was a Whirlpool with a separate freezer compartment (and door). Once the remodel is complete, the room should be quite nice. But for now, the budget rooms do have some minor problems.
- 4/5
It is an older property that is clean and suitable. Nothing modern or fancy, but it accomplished the goals of a clean place to stay. The beds are a bit hard, though.
- 5/5
Nice and welcoming. Clean bed sheets and towels!!! No odd smells and convenient spot around the real interesting town and tour. Don’t forget to buy goodies!
- 5/5
We loved the location near a riverfront park and cute downtown Cashmere. The room was clean and matress was very comfortable. You could hear some train whistles during the day but they seemed to tone it down at night so we slept well. Staff were very kind and friendly. Thank you!
- 4/5
It’s quiet and not a lot of street noise. However there is train noises so bring earplugs and then it’s fine. The floors were carpeted which was nice
- 5/5
The staff is so friendly and cooperative!
- 4/5
Everything good except the rock hard mattress
- 4/5
Provides ear buds for guests not used to train noise. Everything is within walking distance The website portal is tech friendly
- 5/5
Quiet
- 2/5
The office is only open from 3PM to 6PM for check in. We purchased a "Premium" room and were given a "Standard" room. The vanity was not clean and there was no shower curtain on the shower. Additionally a freight train came through at 2AM blasting its whistle.
- 3/5
This is a great spot in town and the staff was friendly, My only complaint is the noise, everything else was good.
- 4/5
It was centrally located in Cashmere. The straightforward check-in and check-out process is done on the phone with a code provided for the door. The room was just large enough for the two queen beds. The beds were too firm for our comfort, but if you're a fan of firm, I'm sure you would love them. There was a mini-fridge, but it was not plugged in and cold when we arrived. The TV was smaller than expected for a hotel room, but it was connected to streaming services, making viewing easy. The train runs very close to the inn, which is loud at times. We ran the heat/fan all night in the room to provide some white noise. We also used earplugs to be able to sleep. On the plus side, it was so much less expensive than anything in Leavenworth and was an easy drive to and from Leavenworth!
- 3/5
Not like the pictures on the website
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly, small breakfast but still was worth it. We will for sure stay again.
- 5/5
Such a cute town.
- 5/5
Very good stay and a nice manager.
- 3/5
Everything in the hotel was fone other than two things the beds are hard/rough to sleep on not something were use to and one of the chairs had dog hair or hair from someone idk but overall it was great 👍
- 4/5
Eventhough I booked a second night through the hotel, I'm moving to a different hotel and forfitting my room cost. I will not ever stay here again.
- 2/5
Room was fairly clean and fresh. the mattress was very uncomfortable.
- 4/5
Renovated premises, quiet neighbourhood, even though it’s right at the corner of two streets. Spacious room.
- 5/5
Check in was simple and fast. Hotel is simple but everything was clean.
- 5/5
Everything was good but inside of fridge had a pretty nasty smell
- 5/5
Safe, convenient, affordable option to spend the weekend in nearby Leavenworth. Staff was friendly and informative, Thank you!
- 3/5
Very basic place. Served its purpose.
- 5/5
Person who worked there was very accommodating
- 4/5
We had a great experience overall!
- 5/5
Nice little hotel. Older, but updated. Very clean. Doesn't have pool or other things, but if you just need a nice clean place to stay, this is your hotel.
- 5/5
Staff were super nice and helpful. Clean room, newly renovated mid-modern design, comfortable mattress, cute little town.
- 5/5
We're all happy
- 5/5
Very clean, simple, easy access and excellent staff!
- 5/5
A gem in Cashmere. Super convenient place to stay, a great room and super comfortable bed. Great room amenities and bathroom. Looks very recently renovated and done to a great standard. Contact with To y for check in was seamless and easy.
- 4/5
Its a small town so cant expect too much
- 3/5
Room was smaller than imagined. But comfortable. Needed some sort of table to eat at. Most of the towel racks were loose or missing from the walls. Toilet paper holder was barely hanging on. Found a few tick shaped bugs in the bedsheets. Refrigerator and AC worked great. Ceiling above shower has a large bubble of water damage above it. Bed was pretty comfortable. Staff was very nice and the area is just beautiful.
- 4/5
This was a convenient and cheaper place to stay in the area compared to Leavenworth. The hotel was clean and comfortable, especially the mattress, which I’m always critical of, however it was a little noisy. The AC units are old and loud and the train line is a block away with trains coming through during the night. There’s a good coffee place a block away, but the “grocery store” was just a large convenience store and dining options are limited. My main issues (which are far from being a deal breaker) are that the water temperature fluctuates a lot during a shower (cold and scalding) and for some reason being in the town interfered with the Bluetooth connection in my car. Overall it’s a good place to stay.
- 5/5
Spent a night here while visiting Leavenworth. The room was clean and updated. Checkin was fast and easy. The guy at the counter was friendly and I d. Cashmere was cute, better than I expected, found a great taco place down the street. I would stay again
- 4/5
Decent stay for the most part. Quiet, calm area
- 5/5
Love the stay there
- 5/5
Super clean, nice neighborhood, cold air conditioning, friendly staff, great location, and would definitely come back!
- 5/5
Great price, in a nice quiet little town with a great bed after a day on a motorcycle was heaven.
- 5/5
I thought the room was so cute and nicely updated! We had a great staying experience here and would definitely come back!
- 3/5
Great spot to stop and sleep along way and close enough to leavensworth. Office is only open from 3 to 6pm. The manager tony was a great communicator though via phone/text. No food or amenities on site but it served its purpose well
- 4/5
Noise from the train
- 3/5
Stay was ok. Traffic noise and the train horn was very loud at night. Hard to sleep with all the noise.
- 4/5
Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean. Pet fee is a bit high though.
- 4/5
Very nice and clean hotel! Definitely a good stay, my only complaint was that the bed and pillows left a little to be desired
- 5/5
Clean, convenient and nice staff
- 4/5
Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
This is an older property that has had a makeover to give it a more modern look. The rooms are very (repeat - VERY) simple with the basics (small fridge, microwave and coffee maker) in a more modern style, and the air-con was noisy but worked well. There is basically no soundproofing so you could hear every footstep, conversation, and vehicle that was outside your door - I actually used the earplugs that were provided. The window has no sheer privacy curtain, just a fabric blind, so we kept the blind closed so as not to have others looking in at us sitting on the bed eating/watching tv. It is exactly in-between Leavenworth and Wenatchee, which made it perfect for us - anything we needed was within a 15 min drive. It's walking distance to the Aplets & Cotlets factory and a handful of dining options, and minutes away by driving from a couple of amazing antique stores. All in all it was a great place to stay that was cheaper than downtown Leavenworth, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay her again.
- 5/5
It is a modest room. Almost 1960's minimalist. Though the bathroom was quite trendy and nice. Refrigerator provided. No view - more like a 'motel' - but cute pleasant neighborhood.
- 4/5
I stopped over here for a night to break up a long drive. For that purpose, the Cashmere Inn was perfectly adequate. It has easy access from US 2, is a few blocks from downtown Cashmere for dining and shopping, and has plenty of free parking. The rooms are basic but have everything you need for a good nights sleep.
- 4/5
The only thing that would have been nice is if I would have been allowed to leave my dogs in the room when I left. I was there on business and was not able to do this.
- 3/5
This is an older inn that has been updated. The room was clean. The bed was good to sleep on. There is a lot of automotive noise and at night the train is load. Only one chair to sit on and it was not comfortable. There was a small table with two chairs in the room that we sat on. The lobby was not open except when we checked in. We liked the feel of the town and there were a few activities for tourists.
- 5/5
This is a simple, no-frills place, but it has been newly remodeled. There was a frig with a small freezer, microwave. The price is reasonable. There is no pool or breakfast. As I said, no-frills. I will stay there again.
- 5/5
Always excellent
- 4/5
Great location. Has clearly been recently updated. Kinda noisy in my room at the end nearest the street.
- 4/5
Decent restaurants were within walking distance. Nearby railroad caused some noise a few times, but otherwise fairly quiet.
- 4/5
No Continental Breakfast.
- 5/5
Very good price and very clean property. Friendly front desk staff who recommended a good Mexican restaurant one block away from the hotel. Will stay again.
- 2/5
Gal behind the desk seemed to be moving out and not interested in the needs of the clients. Hard to get hot water unless you ran it a long time. We had to take out our own trash since we were there 2 nites. Coffee maker at the bathroom sink! Really inconvenient. No kleenex, microwave and fridge down on the floor and hard to get to. We don't plan to stay here again..
- 1/5
.
- 4/5
Could use more sound insulation from outside noise and between units.
- 5/5
The location was great! Easy to find. The room was clean with homey touches. I will be staying there again
- 5/5
Really good bbq after the corner and place had Disney and clean rooms !
- 4/5
Excellent price clean updated room
- 4/5
Overall the hotel was accommodating and comfortable. I had to ask for another room, since my first one had no wall switch for the overhead lighting nor and clothes rod to hang my clothes. The second room was much better, except for the slight smoke smell and the overhead patrons doing their business for hours, with loud squeaking floors and bed up there. Then it would start again in the morning. Not much sleep for me.
