Very clean and spacious King room!! The view of the mountains was amazing! Cute shops all around!

The Prickly Pear is an excellent place to stay. Wonderful staff and beautiful rooms. We will definitely be back.

Our room was tastefully decorated, spacious, and very clean. The lady who checked us in explained things well. We loved how there was a ice creamery, a bar and a restaurant all on site. We attended each place and enjoyed. Patio was nice, view was ok, not great. Would recommend.

Wonderful small hotel in heart of Cave Creek. Beautiful large room will full size refrigerator, microwave, glassware. Large flat screen and large patio with Mountain View’s. Walking distance to several restaurants and attractions.

Everything about the room was great. Very clean and we had all the accessories that we needed. It was quiet, well insulated from any street noise and beautifully appointed. Check in was seamless and helpful in recommending restaurants and shopping.

Got locked out and slept outside. No way to reach anyone. When I finally got in the next morning I was told there is a number on the front door, in teeny writing there is a printed emergency number, no other way to reach anyone, not via email or phone. No apology, no kindness for my $300 homeless experience. I will never stay there again.

Im very glad that I decided to make that my overnight stop. Traveling solo I felt very safe and everything was walkable distance. Delicious ice cream shop downstairs. Room was very clean. VERY CLEAN. Nice towels and sheets. Definitely unexpected luxury.

We loved this hotel so much. Loved the convenience of being able to walk everywhere. Loved the decor, the restaurant and shops right there and of course the ice cream shop!! Can't wait to come again. Loved the town, the hotel and the owners were super nice!!

Great location! Exceptionally clean! Extremely comfortable bed. Close to all kinds of restaurants and bars. We are definitely going back to this hotel. And I have never had that feeling before about a hotel. All kinds of shopping and amenities even within the Prickly Pear Plaza.

Its a beautiful location with a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. Our room was inexpensive and included a kitchenette and very large outdoor patio. The staff were very friendly and accommodating . We definitely will stay there on a return visit.

Beautiful property with small party store and western decor for sale. Abosolutely AWESOME. Close to the greatest places like The Hideaway, Roadhouse, Harolds and Buffalo Chip as well as Mexican Rose decor store which is in the same parking lot. Just a great place!

Room is clean and it’s unique.

Cave Creek is a Patriotic town. Lots of art and wonderful restaurants. Z's Thai and The Grotto were amazing to name two. Prickly Pear is a gem. The "room" is like a small apartment. Loved it!

The western theme was awesome, as was the large balcony. Gift shop was great. More vegetarian food at the restaurant would have helped.

We were only there for one night and since we arrived late, we didn’t get to see any staff. HOWEVER, their customer service was amazing, telling us how to get into our room after hours and was a breeze. And finally. The ROOM. It was spectacular! Loved the theme and everything was just so clean and modern! We even had a large balcony which you could easily fit 10 people on. It was such a good night, we were thinking about it when we stayed at the Holiday Inn the following nights 😂😂

A very special property. Regarding get above a restaurant, ice cream parlor, couple stores, and a salon. The hotel is separate and secure from these establishments and quiet. Our room was beautiful and well furnished. We ate most of our meals in the room and the cooktop, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker were welcome additions.

Accommodations were terrific. Plenty of things to do in the area sites to see. Love the visit. Plan to return.

I was only at the Prickly Pear for about 10 hours, but I saw enough of this really cute area to know I'd like to come back with my family. I got in late, and Paul made special arrangements to meet me for check-in. He then gave me a personal tour of the property. My room was spotless and everything has been updated. I would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Enjoyed our stay - great staff, great location, very comfortable rooms. The room(s) facing main street can be a little noisy Friday and Saturday evening.

We live in Phoenix and wanted a stay cashion and this fits the bill. It was awesome all the way around. Look forward to coming back and trying another room although ours was so nice. The Owner in the General store was very kind and has sure of a pretty little store. Thanks so much.

I loved the location of the hotel. The room is decorated with a rustic style and a hip new style and a perfect blend of both.
