Motel 6 Cedar Park, TX

I liked the way the way the room was set up and the staff was friendly! There were so many flys in the room and every time we’d kill one there would be a new one. Everything was stained, the towels, the bed sheets, the floor, and the pillow cases. The room was also veryyy humid and I know it rained the day we got in but I haven’t ever had a problem with the room being humid before. I didn’t catch that it was a pet friendly hotel which is fine the hallways just smelled bad and not always like dog so idk what that was. Lastly the wifi was just strange and would seem to just go away sometime which was difficult because I had zoom meetings both days I was there.

Water was out and elevator and the staff was really nice and helpful. Rooms weren't horrible but toilet seats were dirty no blankets just sheets

Unfortunately, nothing. As soon as you enter the property there are people hanging out, outside.. Not sure if homeless or what the situation is there. Upon entering the hotel, you are welcomed with an intense smell of cigarettes, and possibly some type of moldy scent. The rooms had paint peeling, roaches, and the bed sheets were dirty and smelled horrendous. I have never stayed in a worse hotel.

Its motel quality....rooms smell musty and linens and bed were stained. Room was very small and AC worked, so thats a plus.

I had originally booked a standard queen room. What I got was a temporary full size bed not much better than a rollaway bed. The mattress on said bed was so bad that it left a little bruises on my body due to the lumps. Did not sleep at all the first night. I asked the desk attendant if I could upgrade to a queen size room. He said he would have the manager call me. Did not happen. I next asked if I can get a refund for the second night that I had booked. Of course that didn't happen. Again, he said he would have his manager call me. That did not happen. All in all it's a motel hell! I just left the room and put another room over at the Holiday Inn. Much better! The desk attendance name was Jeremy. Jeremy does not give a rat's patootie about your stay.

Most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed in. There was a horrible smell in the room it smelled like pee. Sheets and pillowcases were dirty looked like they haven’t been washed, I could see hairs on the pillow. The bathroom was dirty. Looked like it hadn’t been mopped or swept. There were gnats & flies in the room that stayed there. I would never stay here again unless I had my own cleaning supplies and sheet set.

It took 3 trips down to the res. desk to finally get a key to a room. The keys wouldn’t allow access— why? <> they were already occupied. When we finally got to our room… it was small, but the pillows were GREAT!

Due to poor cleanliness we left and didn’t stay and had to to find another hotel. The tub was not clean and the sheets were dirty. Dirt on the walls and baseboards

The nonsmoking floor reeked of weed, the room was dirty, had several flies in the room, only had one towel. Tried to use a vending machine only to be told they were out of order so I then had to get dressed enough to go to Walmart to get some basic necessities. I would also recommend a simple raised bar on each side and at the foot of the bed so the mattress doesn’t slide every time you get on and off the bed would be great.

The room qas not very clean. There was a small brown mark on the bed sheets almost like a melted chocolate stain. The bathroom light did not work. The inside hallway was so humid. You get what you pay for here. 65 for a night for my 1 night stay.

The elevator reeked of cigarette smoke along with the first of the hallway on the second floor. I feel like employees hide in the elevator to smoke because it is so strong at all times. Guests would not have time to smoke with how short the ride is. At times, the elevator didn’t work. You’d press the button and nothing would happen and it makes disturbing noises. The kitchen would be nice but there’s nothing to cook with. There’s no shampoo or conditioner provided but you could buy it downstairs in the vending machine. The cleaning staff let themselves into my room while I was in the shower at 9:45am. Just yelled housekeeping but didn’t give you any time to respond. Thankfully my son was there to remind them checkout was not until 11 am. This really upset me! Also our key cards were deactivated at 9am so my son could not get back into the room after trying to get ice (another unsuccessful issue). That also meant one of us had to stay in the room while loading the car or we would have been locked out of the room. At the time, the front desk clerk had stepped away. Why would your staff deactivate both cards before we even left? If anything, please deodorize the elevator someway to get rid of the very STRONG cigarette smell.

Staff was great but the room was pretty beat up. It was good for a crash pad. Front desk guy was awesome and check-in truly trouble-free. Only bathroom amenity was bar soap. Ok suburban location.

The only thing I can say is....its a place to laydown. Its a hotel full of character and characters both good and bad.

Room was dirty, bathroom horrible, the hotel reaked of cigarettes and a lot of rusted open vents. The staff at the front desk was rude and welcoming. Will never go back!

EASY TO GET TO THE 2 VENUES, A LOT OF CHOICES FOR FOOD WITHIN MINUTES, INCLUDING AN HEB MADE IT SUPER EASY TO GET STUFF THAT WAS NEEDED EVERYTHING WAS GOOD, NO COMPLAINTS

The room smelled horrific like mold and sewage. There were also bugs everywhere, the restroom was so fowl smelling that I had to leave that room closed. When I arrived they had a fan running, and said nothing was wrong. Which was clearly not the case. I also requested a queen bed and was given a room with 2 double beds. I tried to call and change rooms and they stated they were full. I barely made it through the night. My clothes smelled of the terrible odor. And I left with a headache. Very disappointed. Do NOT recommend this location.

Bathroom has serious mold. And everything leaks. Entire hotels smells like mold. Staff were unbelievably nice, but the motel is disgusting. The carpet smells so bad. There was cat litter everywhere because multiple people live there and have animals. Doors SLAM all night and dogs bark 24/7. Absolutely nothing good to say other than the staff was nice. This is one of those nasty places you see in movies. Zero stars. Never stay here.

The only positive thing is that your pets can stay for free but, you will see why quickly upon arrival. it was absolutely disgusting. weird rust looking stuff on every appliance, bugs on sheet, behind the bed frame, weird black mold stuff in the corner of the room and black stuff smeared on the mirror. Looks like no one cleaned whatsoever before we got there. I don’t feel comfortable letting my animals stay there or myself.

When I first went in the room it was dirty and bed was unmade. After housekeeping "fixed" it up i went in and it was still dirty and the bed looks like it was remade with the same blankets and I had to request a new set. Ended up leaving in the middle of the night cause i woke up to an itch, turned in the light and found bedbugs

I was harassed by a person in the parking lot and then they also came and beat on my door during the night I asked the front desk to take care of this problem multiple times but nothing was done what

It rained in through the AC both nights. One of the beds had broken springs. I told the staff. Also I asked for the room to be cleaned. When we got back it had not been cleaned.

We were on second floor and elevator didn’t work. Walking down the hall smelt like a kennel …awful! Once in room smells were blocked out, but bathroom was needing update. Had stayed before a few years back but will not stay again. A number of homeless around and some seemed to have rooms. Felt unsafe.

Receptionist was unprofessional. Our booking said pet free property! There was one room in our floor with 3 large dogs!! And the dogs were roaming the corridor on their own!! The owner apparently was not even in the Hotel!! After multiple complaints to reception, they told us they couldn’t do anything becaue the dogs know how to open the room door and they can’t get ahold of the owner!! The room on the inside was horrible!! Crumbs on the floor and dirty bathroom with stained towels!! We ended up leaving around midnight to another property!!

It is an affordable room, you get what you pay for. I get rooms at motel 6 quite a bit. 2 times i have gotten dirty rooms. I come back because they care. They make it right. Customer service is on point, they need to hire better house keepers.

That house keeping knocked on my door about 7ish to say check out time is 11am. I was yes I know smdh. I was leaving in another 1 hr. I was disappointed they felt they needed to tell me that. I felt like they were running me out lol

Well... we were in the 3rd floor... smells like cigarettes all over ... the bathroom door had a hole and sombody tried to fix it patching it with foam and did terrinle job.. you have to call front desk to send the elevator to 3rd floor becaus button disnt work... staff were nice and friendly... dogs barking all night... etc etc

It stunk on the 3 floor. I think people were living up there. The elevator was broken. They were bringing a moldy looking mattress in the side door. We did not even stay the night. We left.

Will never go back. Booked for the “smoking suite”. When arrived was given the wrong room down graded nonsmoking, when brought to front desk attention denied moving to correct room due to being full. But would try the next day to get me in the right room and would inform management. I requested to speak to the manager 3 times before leaving but they were “unavailable”. One front desk representative had been in communications with the manager via text but still no response or refund. Almost 2 weeks and still nothing.

If you're a good looking young lady, they'll put you on the first floor. If the owner assumes you're a junky or anything but a good looking young lady, they'll exile you to the third floor where they believe you belong. If motel 6 set the bar one foot off the ground, this location is trying their hardest to dig to china. All towels were stained with what looked like blood. Linens had to be thirty years old, including the pillows.I don't even remember a pillow like that from my childhood and we didn't grow up rich. If they put you anywhere but the 1st floor check out immediately. They're making a judgment call based on your appearance.

Terrible experience I was sleeping and around 1:00am they open my door because they gave them the key they were saying it was there room even though I rented the room for 3 nights that was horrible I couldn’t sleep the rest of the night bad experience

The place is ran down, they resuse the card sleeves which are dirty from guest hands. They cross out the guest old number and then will write your room number. The card sleeves has food and brown spots from several uses. Roaches and I cleaned sheets. Place is terrible!!!!

it was so terrible that I did not stay the night. I left at around 12:40am. By far one of the worse motel 6 I have stayed. The smell was just horrible and the condition of the rooms were awful.

I have pictures if you want. Toilet was not cleaned. Tub had dirty water left in it. Sheets had splatters of blood previously and someone just cut around the spots and put the sheet back on the bed. Wooden chair had a burn mark. Not by design. Tv was unplugged. Water was spilled between the beds ??? I got my socks wet and had to put a towel down. Please contact me for pictures. This hotel smells awful! The front desk area has a terrible stench that penetrated right through my nose. The hallway leading into my room smelled better but still had odor to it.

The reviews are wrong.. this place is EXCELLENT!! Yeah, theres a few "long term" people there.. but they were kind and minding their own most the time. The staff was amazing, beds soft.. It is a budget room so it isnt giant stand up showers and sink.. but it is a 10/10 for a $50ish dollar a night hotel.. Mo issues with safety or noise at all.

The motel was filthy and dogs were every where, literally almost every guest had a large dog and some had multiple dogs. There was a fight amongst two guest and their dogs in the middle of the night that lasted close to half an hour I stayed in my room because it sounded really bad, someone’s dog was loose running down the hall for a long period of time above the first floor. There was dog piss in the hall at one point and a huge coffee spill that I had to make the receptionist aware of in front of the steps. The room had hair and stains all over the linen, my comforter had fresh food stains in the bed which let me know my bed was untouched by housekeeping. Hair on toilet seat and all over tub and sink. Stains on the table mirror was covered in water marks. Most of the bathroom linen was actually used and refolded which was disgusting. Like literal makeup on a face towel was refolded up. The fridge had a brown buildup inside and a block of ice inside and the microwave had brown crust under the glass plate it was absolutely gross. Coffee station was a mess and the vending machine was out of order with no sign on it.

My stay was good. But the elevator didn’t work properly. And the mattress was not comfortable. I was very pleased that the staff made coffee before 6am.

The entire floor we stayed on smelled intensly like decades of cigarette smoke. There was not really any quiet during the night people constantly coming and going. There seemed to be a lot dogs and constant barking throughout the nightvas well. The entire property was dirty and smelled terrible.

Then we went to the room! When I opened the door, the foul odor almost knocked me down!! The smell was a very very strong acidic chemical smell and actually burned my throat!! We asked for a different room but they had none. We said we would need to leave and asked for a refund. We were told the manager would not be back until tomorrow (11/1/24). I have never had such a bad experience with a motel/hotel. I hope tomorrow when I go back to speak with the manager, that they actually refund our money!

We live in a small town near by whose water main burst. So our stay was just for convenience of have a hot shower. The bathtub was disgusting. The smell in the hallway was so offensive, I chose to let my phone die rather than walk out to my car to retrieve my forgotten charger. American Horror story vibes. The lady that checked me in was very nice and pleasant.

0 stars if I could. First arrived to sketchy activity outside the building. Guests were climbing out the window to set up chairs for a drink out, a bunch of abandoned cars in the parking lot, cops questioning guests. Just as I thought it couldn't be any worse, I was welcomed with a smelly lobby and hallway then was told the queen bed i reserved and prepaid for in full were fully booked. The room was very musty. What should have been a smokefree room had burn marks on the tub, sheets and curtains. Not to mention all the hair on the shower walls and between the sheets. Worst experience ever. Feeling dirty staying there would be an understatement.

This was by far the worst hotel I have been ever stayed in. The first room the door didn't lock, the light didn't work and the sheets had burn holes in them and were dirty, not to mention the entire floor smelled like pot and cigarettes. I was given a second room and it was slightly better, I had to fix the toilet, and TV and the water was very cold in the shower. There was dirty walls and floors. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone nor would I ever stay here again. I only stayed bc I was visiting my dying grandfather and had no time to waste finding a better place. I hope that some effort is made to improve this place or shut it down!

Their where people living at this place like it was an apartment fighting the cops showed up.. would not recommend this motel 6 at all it smelt like mold and ciggarets . Oly stay one night and they wouldnt reimbersse for the second night when i didnt even stay their.. no shuttle service or nothing...

I went back into my room as officers arrived. She recovered and was not arrested, the room wasnt searched and inrealized the management knew they were addicts yet didnt disclose when i booked my room. Horrible experience....dont go.

I was expecting a decent, modest place to stay. Instead, I was greeted to a poorly maintained place. There was a strong scent of cigarettes at the entrance and even worse in the hallways. I wanted to stay in a smoke free room, but I was greeted by a horrible stench once I opened the door. The place wasn't in it's best condition, the microwave was broken, the bathtub was dirty, the toilet was cracked and the sink was clogged. The next morning, the elevator wasn't working and we had to go downstairs because someone got stuck in there, adding to how unsafe the place is. I do not recommend this place, never coming back here again.

I’ve stayed in a lot of awful hotels but this one is in the top worst stays . Pillows were brown , pubes in the shower , sheets dirty , tv didn’t work , no remote , smelled of smoke , washer and dryer were disgusting , elevator was dirty , trash and band aids in stair wells . Anyways … bets if luck to anyone wanting to stay here

Three flat pillows on a queen size bed that we sunk into and was difficult to move around on. Only one towel and two hand towels in the room and had to ask for clean towels for the second night which they did accommodate for upon me asking. The toilet liked to stick after flushing. It was a bare minimum hotel but affordable since most prices were extremely elevated due to the solar eclipse occurring. Probably more of a “hookup” motel ordinarily, though if that was my thing, I’d splurge elsewhere.

Property is older and could use some maintenance, but everything was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The humidity inside the building seemed a little high, especially for Austin. Our bed could have been firmer. The motel was conveniently located near dining establishments and a Walmart and grocery.

I booked a room with two beds but when got here they sold out of the two beds, so the lady apologized and gave us a room with kitchenette which was very nice. She offered an air mattress to accommodate us. Room was clean and very spacious.

Very convenient, clean, quiet, and the staff is very friendly. The price is very fair considering the area it’s located. It’s surrounded by countless restaurants, shopping centers, there's an HEB and a Walmart about a mile from the property, which is very resourceful. The location is on point. I stayed here for a week for some relaxation and some down time and I left feeling very satisfied. My only complaint is the ice machine doesn’t work but it’s not at all a deal breaker. I still give 5/5. Great place to stay!

Our shower nozzle was completely broken off - at first they said there was nothing they could do bc they were fully booked(no other rooms) until I threw a fit- they woke up the maintenance man who was able to repair the shower enough for use. - You get what you pay for.

I check in at 6:45 and checked out the room the sheets were filthy and hair was in the shower I check out immediately I have video and pictures of me not staying and the front desk can tell you to I want refund asap pleas

Great stay.

Not very modern inside. The outside has had a facelift but the rooms are older ours wasn’t all that clean. Very few electrical outlets were available in our room.

It was one of the worst stays ever, dogs were barking alll night and it was so dirty and just not safe at all.

No towels and no soap in bathroom
