The room had a fresh coat of paint. Other than that I can not say that anything else was enjoy able. At the very first they told me i had to pay $50 cash at rhe check in desk. Not that i had any issues paying the deposit that I am used to paying. But my credit card was already charged the $50 before I reached the front desk. Informed me that I was not allowed guest ,not even if my husband came up for the night and if i didn't like the rules they had I could go elsewhere. Very unprofessional. Then the 1st room I went into had roaches big cockroaches and the other litle gross ones. The room had a mildew smell and the furniture was rusting thur the new coat of paint. So i was moved to the 2nd room where the bugs were gone but there was literally no blankets to cover and sleep under. I have never been to a place that had a curtian material as blankets the doors all stayed locked ans made the guest walk around thw put aide of thw building to acces the ice machine and laundry. Rhe room was dirty and looks like it was in desprate need of a deep clean . This lication never has to worry about me stoping in to stay woth them again. It was the worst experiance that I have had.

In to the good stuff. Everything worked fine and the room’s mostly clean. Traffic noise wasn’t bad. Easy parking and on/off I10. Riverside restaurant is near and worth it! The smart TV is only smart if you have the matching Samsung phone. You get what you pay for and for less than 70 bucks it was worth it.

I had to buy roaches traps and placed them everywhere in the room. The place is roach infested. Also I bought a fragance diffuser and fabreeze clip ons & spray for the cigarette smell in the room that didn't disappeared. My asthma was horrible during my stay.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Held the room for me even though I arrived very late in the evening. Also allowed me to modify the number of nights stay because of a familyb emergency. Hotel was clean, but bathroom could have been better. Rust around the tub and tub was slippery (did not have any non stick material on it)

The property is very nice, clean and remodeled. The owner lives in property and is always available. The rooms do lack a few amenities. The biggest one for me was a closet. I was in Houston to attend a family event and had no where to hang my dress. There is plenty of space for a closet or something like it in the room. Also it would be nice to have thicker blankets the ones provided were very thin. Otherwise I would recommend staying here and would return. Nice value. Nice staff.

The hot water was much to be desired. The overall cleanliness of the room could’ve been a little better.

There were two dead roaches on the room door that had been smashed, & not killed by spray. After leaving to get bug spray and disinfectant, I re-opened the door and a live roach was underneath son's belongings to which I quickly sprayed and killed. The bathroom never even had clean full toilet tissue rolls, just the half-used rolls left by the last guests. I asked a different clerk the next day for new sheets and requested the room be thoroughly cleaned and he stated okay but when we got back the same sheets we're there. The bed was made, however, but when I pulled the sheets back I noticed bug carcasses again. Our door wasn't weather-stripped so I believe the bugs came in from outside but since we spent so much money and couldn't get a refund we stuck it out. Be aware that the pictures are misleading. This isn't a place I would recommend to anyone. I saw reviews, where the place got 3 out of 5 stars and the low ranking, was only due to customer service issues or customer misunderstandings but this place is horrible. I didn't take pics but have no reason to lie. I was embarrassed and won't be cheap again.

Just a overall terrible stay. The guy at the desk promised early check in with little to no charge the when I arrive he tells me $50 to check in 3 hours early that was more than I paid for the whole stay.

Front desk personnel was rude when checking in. TV in room didn’t have batteries. When the office gave us some, the tv still didn’t work and she acted as if we were inconveniencing her so we stayed in a room with no tv. While I was taking a shower the shower head flew off and hit me; when I told the front desk staff I was told “well, you look fine to me”. On top of all that, there were roaches in my room and tenants playing loud music in their cars while I was trying to sleep.

towels are very small and wash cloths so dirty looking we did not use them. A/C was challenged to cool room, did not get comfortable until about 1AM

Everything was great. I was annoyed that at check in the lady ask me to sign on electronic pad without me viewing what I was signing. I needed room so I signed. Otherwise the room was spacios and clean. It was excellent.

Not what I expected for the price

In order to get a double queen bed you have to pay extra $20/night which I think is ridiculous and then they put us in a handicapped room.

Coffee tasted like water. Breakfast was no good. There was really nothing there for breakfast. When we booked, it said breakfast was included that is why we booked it. Very disappointing.

Within 3 hours of booking I had a family emergency and they would not refund my money the place was dead n rooms were clean they refuse early check in services and hotel is the worse I have seen in years
