They said the pool was closed for maintenance but it just looked like it needed to be cleaned. We saw garbages overflowing everywhere outside the hotel and inside the hotel. Garbage even stacked up by the elevator. The room itself was cleaned and was a nice size room it was comfortable but there was only small tiny bathroom trash in our room not a normal size one to be seen. We asked for a shuttle to a near by Walmart to get food supplies for our mini fridge and we where then told the shuttle was only for the airport and where told to use the back door exit to walk to the Walmart if we wanted. We asked for a wake up call at 3:30 am so we could get up and get going for our shuttle and that never happened. We did get our shuttle to the airport. Although the man at the desk for morning check out just took our room keys and said we would get a email receipt no real close out procedures.

The room was incredibly clean—you can tell the staff actually takes the time to deep-clean rather than just doing a quick wipe-down. There was absolutely no stale odor or chemical smell. The staff was also wonderful and incredibly helpful; my sister accidentally left her phone behind, and they made it completely hassle-free for us to retrieve it. We will definitely be back!

Breakfast was cold. At $10 it was as expected. It smelled quite bad in the room and hall ways. Both Smelled of mold and Cat urine or wet carpet. The bed was uncomfortable as well and should be changed immediately.

Please consider putting 3 sets of towels in rooms with 1 bed and 4 sets in rooms with 2 beds. Just a nice touch. Night auditor was very pleasant but had difficulty extending my stay.

The location was the best@ It is within walking distance to several restaurants and a convenience store. I didn't like that there are microwaves in the rooms to warm your food.

Close to the airport. A lot of food options like right next door. Airport shuttle which saves money for Uber. Friendly and thoughtful staff.

The breakfast was the best part of the stay. The rest was as average nothing special. What I really didn't like was that the air-condition outlet location. The outlet aimed the air which was strong directly towards the bed, much to cold, therefore couldn't be used when sleeping.

Very convenient to used

Check in was super easy and the room was great. My only complaint is that other guests were pretty loud in the hallway during the night and kept waking me up- I wish the walls/door weren’t so thin.

The desk staff was less than helpful and we had to dig for every piece of information that we would have expected to receive ship from a desk clerk upon checking in. The room and the bed were both very nice. The property was clean. However, the clerks made our stay less than enjoyable and cost us a lot of stress.

Waited over 30 minutes at the airport for a pick up. Rather disappointed that the shuttle doesn’t start till 7:00z. Had to get an uber to go to airport for early flight. Had no breakfast cause I had to leave before it started. Not even coffee in the lobby, very sad for us travelers. Don’t think I will be back to this one

Our room was very clean and comfortable. I really appreciated that they allowed us to check out at 12 instead of 11 because my daughter woke up with a fever and I wanted her to rest longer. Also, Orbitz listed the check-out time as 12, but it is actually at 11.

There is no water to drink available at this hotel. No water fountains or water bottles for sale. The bathroom was so small that it was uncomfortable for an adult to use. The shower felt claustrophobic as the shower curtain kept sticking to me because there wasn’t enough space to stand comfortably. The water pressure was very strong, which was good, but the water was so chlorinated that it made me sneeze in the shower. The parking lot was also very small and difficult to get into and out of.

Overall, stay was fine except for the airport shuttle, which usually takes 30 minutes from the time you call. They tell you it will take 15-20 minutes but it never does and I was stuck waiting in the freezing cold for 15 minutes twice. If you require a shuttle, I would stay elsewhere. There are not a lot of healthy eating options nearby, just a ton of fast food places.

They were in construction phase. 1st room had no ac. Room we were switched to smelled like paint. Laundry room was not in operation. Will try them again sometime if I need access to Dulles Convention Center. Others said they had great rooms, so I was prolly just unlucky this time because I needed a double room and maybe the singles were upgraded already. Breakfast area was abysmal with painters tape and torn paper on windows, dirty tables. Food selection sparce. Option for no breakfast is a better move because there are lots of breakfast options within 1 block for far less cost. No lobby and one of the elevators shut down for construction and area in hallway for check in was off-putting. Room was reasonably clean, had ample space and wasn't all bad for the price and location. Plenty of restaurants and even a walmart within a city block made it convenient and kinda fun to explore the area. Just not a hotel where you would want to hang out. Curious to see how the remodel works out. Staff was cordial and making the best of things.

The room was clean but the hotel was under refurbishment, so there was dust in places. The staff were friendly and helped with everything and fabulous.

Staff was rude and dismissive. We waiting almost a hour to check in b/c no one was at the front desk. The pool was inoperable and no one told us. The owner did apologize as we checked out but it put a dent in my husbands bday weekend

Excellent experience, everyone was super helpful and friendly, and it was a pleasure staying there. The bed and room were comfortable, and the TV was also handy at night. I was even given the grace of being allowed to check out a little later than my original check out time. The only thing that was not good for me was finding a roach in the restroom, and if not for that it would have been perfect.

Under construction. Tarps cover most of entry way, which made it very dark and unwelcoming. Clerk did not speak to me about the hotel (was talking to someone else on phone). Coffee machine in Room did not work. Clwrk at the feont advised many.machines were not working. Stayed two days, on second day....no hot water. Room was clean. Just seemed like the front office ataff did not care.

My experience was extremely pleasing and quick. I have no complaints about the hotel and the service, and I thought it was incredibly comfortable as someone who was traveling and needed a break during my 12-hour layover.

I was very disappointed though that the pool was closed. I understand that renovations were being done, but nothing was mentioned on the website. That was the main reason I booked with your hotel. I was still happy with everything else though.

Construction noise all day. If I knew there was construction, I would have booked a different hotel. Early morning and all day noise. If I had the option, I would have left to another hotel just to get sleep and rest for the tournament I was at.

My wife stayed there because they had 24hr shuttle as advertised on hotels.com. As my wife leaving early morning. They said they don’t have 24hr shuttle service. And she had to get a Lyft instead. The hotel didn’t give me a refund due to false advertising.

Staff is very, very nice and helpful. But sadly this place is tired, shabby and deteriorating. It appears to be under partial renovation, but no work seems to be going on during the day. Sorry, but I won't be returning.

Hotel was being renovated when me and my son stayed. He was disappointed the pool was closed. Room had a funny smell to it. The area is very convenient and staff were very friendly. I would stay again after renovations are done

The reason I had picked that hotel was so that I can enjoy the pool and there was no pool because you never informed us that it was under construction, which is wrong, which is a no no you should’ve at least give us a warning.

Shower head was kinda janky hard to find the warm water. Whole place is under construction theu used to have a gangster aas pool? Its currently closed in June...... better luck next time....maybe breakfast will make me change my mind only 8 hours can tell

They said they had a pool and shuttle service. Pool was closed and the shuttle doesn’t go before 7am. The elevator was broke and the ice machine. I came back to my room yesterday and the room was already open but it wasn’t cleaned. I asked front desk and they said they don’t know. It made me uneasy. Nothing was taken but i couldn’t sleep all night i thought someone would come in the room.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Should install warm colored LED bulbs in rhe halls. No breakfast provided.

The hotel was doing renovations which meant that the advertised amenites, laundry, fitness centre and restaurant were not available. Breakfast was available, setup in the conferencing area. No notice of this was given in any Hotels.com or Holiday Inn web content . The hotel notified atcheck in. No discount was availabe for lack of services.

I stayed for 4 nights in a standard non-smoking room that featured 2 double beds at the Holiday Inn Chantilly-Dulles Expo Center from Tue, 04Feb2025 through Sat, 08Feb2025 for leisure. The hotel has a free airport shuttle. The staff were super friendly providing services such as scheduling my airport shuttle ride and answering my questions. Housekeeping did an outstanding job of cleaning the room, it was immaculate. The room was spacious with a mini fridge to keep my beverages cold, featuring Dove hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo and hair conditioner. The hotel is within walking distance of Walmart if you forgot something. This is an excellent location with restaurants within walking distance surrounding the hotel like Chick-fil-A, McDonalds and Wendy's to name a few. The hotel is also on the bus line for those who want to take the metro to go to other places. The hotel’s airport shuttle drive was extremely friendly and dropped me off at the airport terminal so that I could board the metro train to take me from IAD (Dulles Airport) to DCA (Reagan Airport) to board the airplane. I also stayed at this hotel in 2019. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

We booked a suite and it was the largest one I’ve ever stayed in. The room was comfortable and the staff was very competent. The evening staff helped as asked but the morning staff was so personable. I will say that we did have a knock on the door by housekeeping at 8 am. That was not an issue for me, but may not be desirable for people who like to sleep in.

The area near the hotel has a number of restaurant, fast food, and gas options. Walmart right next door if you need anything there. The property is undergoing renovations which are needed.

I had the worst experaince with expedia. I booked this hotel through expedia, and I later found out that I was getting there earlier, and I requested to be canceled. I went to the hotel myself and they cancled it and fully refunded. I booked directly at the front desk but still being charged 2 times. What the hell is going on?

They are in the process of remodeling. I had a remodeled room, which was very nice, but the door bolt didn’t work, which was a bit unsettling. Also, they have no “free” breakfast, which most other hotels in this category and price range now have. Otherwise, it was fine. On the plus side, the hotel is located within a veritable strip mall of restaurants which was nice and convenient.

My flight was suddenly cancelled and I had to find the hotel nearby and this hotel was my family's rescue. I didn't know anything about this area but the staff calmly answered my phone and arranged the shuttle to the hotel. The hotel room was clean and spacious. And Starbucks, Walmart, McD, and other restaurants are nearby and it was so convenient. Thanks for kindness.

Life required me to be on the area monthly. Tried a few places with a similar price within a couple miles. Liked here the most of the bunch. Stayed at least 6 times in 6 months. Lots of places to eat in the area. All your basic shopping necessities within a couple miles as well. Near the expo center and close enough to the airport. Staff has been super friendly and we’re now on a first name basis.

This property is undergoing construction and the noise level is beyond bearable. Construction starts as early as 8:00AM every day including weekends! It would better to close while construction & renovations are undergoing. Water was cut off from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM! They have hotel listed as a this IHG property, but there is no hotel essentials such as toothpaste, brush, slippers etc. The pool is advertised as open but it’s completely closed & covered, undergoing renovations. Staff are rude and won’t accommodate requests due to unbearable noise levels.
