Amazing staff, clean room.

Only 2 working elevators of the 4 and housekeeping was using them too making the wait when you had your suitcase and couldn’t use the stairs way too long and then cramming people in.

Great customer service!
- 3.5/5
Gorgeous place! Lots of food options on site and a Starbucks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfy and the shower had good pressure and didn’t run out of hot water. The elevators weren’t working properly and it took forever to catch one to and from your room. The shower took a while to drain, so if you weren’t first in, then you were standing in someone else’s dirty water. There was no fridge in the room or clock, which we found strange. Also had to pay to park on the property, which was kind of crazy considering the room price for one night. It was $30 to park overnight.

Views were stunning, my ac didn’t really work well and my room was at 78 degrees while the ac was set to 60 and it wouldn’t cool. Would give 5 stars but since it was hot I couldn’t enjoy as much. Would love to try again but I’m worried about the ac

The reviews for this hotel were good. When we arrived we were extremely disappointed. The building was under construction. Self parking ($30 per day surcharge) was quite a walk to the entrance, and not in good condition. I did not see lighting but it was daytime so could have existed. Upon entering, the front desk clerk was efficient and pleasant. The hotel did not seem clean. When we got in the elevator to go to our floor it soon became obvious that the elevators were not working properly. The doors would not open on our floor in at least four attempts of pushing the correct button. The noises coming from the elevators were unsettling at best. After getting out a few floors above our’s when the doors did open, we realized there was no way we could carry our luggage down two flights. The thought of dealing with the elevators was overwhelming. What if the doors didn’t open at all and we were stuck? At that point we made the decision to go back to the front desk, cancel our reservation, and find accommodations elsewhere. The front desk clerk was polite, said she understood and that the elevators were a problem, and promised to call the company with which we booked to begin the refund process . She also promised we would not be charged for our short timeframe parking. I’m hoping my refund comes through quickly as promised. Definitely not a hotel we would recommend. I have never had an experience like this in decades of travel.

- 3.5/5
The staff were polite and helpful. The room was spacious. I appreciated the table setup. The elevator service was a challenge. There were only about 2 working elevators. My grandmother has a walker so it made going up and down an additional 30-45 min. Wait.
- 2.5/5
Definitely not a 4 star hotel. 1 out of 4 elevators were working. Some people were literally waiting 30 mins+ for the elevator. Hotel employee brushed it off like it was nothing. The bed was so uncomfortable and you can still smell that it’s an old hotel
- 4/5
The area, the hotel, the bar etc. No microwaves in room. Elevator barely worked. Housekeeper tried to walk in my room without knocking.
- 4.5/5

- 3/5
Clean and comfortable beds Staff friendly other than, tried to distance themselves from fridge issue. Could have offered some compensation. Really hurt by expensive loss. But like the hotel. Phone hard to use Asked for fridge, they dropped at door. We had to carry in. Plugged in where fridge goes, checked and was trying to figure if getting cold- morning realized. Not working Tech came. Could not get to work. Moved to other side of room. Then worked. They had to have know the electrical outlet was bad for that room. Lost all of our expensive dinner salmon, lamb chops, and vegetables all had smell we paid $200. Staff didn’t seem to care. We placed were fridge belongs.
- 5/5
Great location, clean, but the staff was the best! My son’s (Tobie 10 and Charlie 8) were baptized that morning and when the staff found out they gave them a card signed by all and 2 pieces of red velvet cheesecake! We had went to a Toby Mac concert and when we came in the receptionist knocked on the door with the card and cakes! Amazing staff! With the way the world is today that really showed not just me but also my boys there are really good people out there. It made me cry and I had to give her ( the receptionist) a huge hug! It was just beautiful!
- 4/5
Check-in was quick. Staff was friendly. Loved the open parking lot next to the hotel. Parking is $25 for self parking. Valet is an option as well. Not sure of the price. Lobby looked inviting and beautiful. Didn't get a chance to dine at the City Lights. I know expedia offered a 15% off towards my food and drinks but the receptionist at the hotel didn't mention it when checking in so I'm not sure if they honored it. The elevators are little slow but once I got to the room. It looked clean. The bathroom was clean but small. The shower floor could have used a good scrubbing. A lot of soap scums in the tiles. There was a hole in the wall with wires hanging from it. Not sure what was supposed to be there but I took pictures. I had a renovated two queen beds room. The queen beds looked more like double beds but were comfortable. The pillows were soft but became flat upon laying on them. I did find a press on nail on the floor which indicated that they did not vacuum the floor and the desk and night stands could have used a wiped down. Found liquid stains on both of them. The room I had was by the elevators and I could hear people talking and housekeeping playing music from the hallway. Also, I booked because it was a short walk to the Spectrum Center which on expedia it said a 12 minute walk when it is acutally 16 minutes. Overall, the stay was okay.
- 2/5
Waited 15 minutes for an elevator. Complete unacceptable!! Bar food selection was too small. Breakfast buffet was not a buffet. It was just a contnental breakfast
- 3/5
Only 1 elevator was working including for the service staff.
- 3/5
The hotel was great minus the elevators not fully working. Clean, comfortable, and close to food.
- 4/5
It was advertised as a 4 star and is not! Very outdated rooms
- 5/5
Hotel was nice, very clean. My only thing is the staff kinda expect you to know what to do when it’s in your job description to help.. I don’t like that. It’s always the front staff ruining the experience being overzealous. Other than that the cleaning staff was kinda cool but in the way.. it was nice though very and I would stay again,
- 4/5
Different atmosphere within the hotel was a lovely. And having different options to eat from.
- 4/5
It’s has a nice lobby and common area It took 2 hours to get me into my room. Couldn’t find my booking at all. Wanted me to pay for a room and then be refund 14 business days later after I had already paid 200 plus already

The Uptown Charlotte Sheraton is an older property that has recently been very nicely renovated. The room was clean and pleasant as well as the common areas and restaurants nicely updated. The City View was worth the extra cost. My only complaint is in regard to the elevators. The main elevator lobby has 4 elevators, during our stay only one of the 4 was in service and it was slow. In a 14 floor building having only one elevator trying to service all of the floors is a nuisance. The longest wait for the elevator was about 6 or 7 minutes but at this price point that is too long.
- 5/5
The Sheraton is always our favorite place to go. It's not directly in uptown Charlotte but close enough that you can still go explore the city. The rooftop bar is top tier, from the bartenders to the views, all around greatness. The rooms are nice and clean. I definitely recommend staying here.
- 3/5
This Sheraton property needs a remodel terribly. Property is dirty and rundown. Broken gate, broken card access to park, 2 out of 4 elevators broken down. You’d wait for almost 5-7 minutes for an elevator that beeps terribly loud between floors! Staff were pleasant and friendly. Wasn’t told about my free breakfast that I had paid for through Expedia when I booked my travel, so that was a little frustrating to learn about half way through my stay. Loud parties on the weekend… little more of a party crowd than I would expect. This is one of the more run down properties I’ve ever stayed at for the Sheraton. I’ll be staying somewhere else next time I’m in Charlotte.
- 4/5
Our only and very frustrated complaint was that there was only one working elevator the whole weekend for a 14-story building!! We waited almost 15 minutes to get to the lobby several times and even missed the shuttle to the wedding we were in town for (we were on 12th floor) and had to call an uber.

The lobby with the rooftop bar and the bar in the lobby. Rooms were nice also. The parking, no microwave in room, only 2 elevators working for 14 floors. Also paid for a city view but was not a view of the city.

Afternoon, night staff seems bothered to help. There was no refrigerator in the room when I checked in. I let them know 3 times that day and no one came to drop one off until the next morning at 10 am when I went downstairs, Jennifer was able to get one to the room . I also had a bathroom leak from the shower(big puddle when I stepped out of the shower). I told management that day as well and they sent a tech up and all he was to put extra towels down for absorption. Jennifer was also able to get someone to the room to fix it and they came around 11 and he attempted to fix the issue.

At check-in, there was a temporary issue with the water line, which meant no water or AC for a couple of hours. While inconvenient, the situation was resolved, and everything ran smoothly afterward. The only concern came on the morning of checkout when we discovered our rental car had been hit in the parking lot. While this wasn’t the hotel’s fault, it did bring some awareness to the parking situation. We initially believed the lot was reserved for guests, but it appears to be accessible to the public, and the entry/exit gates were not functioning at the time. Despite that experience, we truly enjoyed our stay. The staff and overall quality of the hotel made a lasting impression. With a bit more attention to parking security, this would easily be a perfect stay.

The room was spacious and well-sized, making it easy to relax and settle in. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of having toiletry items provided in the bathroom. On top of that, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the overall stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet felt overpriced for the limited selection, but the food itself was good. I don’t think a hotel should charge for parking when you paid to stay on the property. I did valet parking since it was a couple of dollars more.
- 3/5
Great view, location, and hotel amenities. Our first night the tv did not work and stayed looped into the same commercial. The AC unit in the room would make a loud clanking sound every time it turned off which was about every 10 minutes making sleeping almost impossible. Also the bathroom had NO hooks for wet towels. After talking to the front desk they did move our room which had none of these problems, however, having to pack up and move was inconvenient.

- 4/5
Love the location of the property along with our view of the city from our balcony. Love the breakfast & staff there were attentive . Didn’t like we couldn’t get our balcony to unlock , or the phone in the room didn’t work and I didn’t care too much for them allowing pets in the hotel , it was very annoying hearing a dog barking (either next door or in the hall way) when trying to relax in our room and having them be able to sit in the dining area as others are trying to eat wasn’t too pleasant either , but other than that it wasn’t to much to dislike .

Excelente hotel
- 4/5
The room was very nice, but the shower pressure and temperature didn't adjust well. And the gym was disappointing. Lots of cardio equipment, but some of it didn't work. Not enough dumbbells, broken cable machine, and another machine missing a pin for choosing the weight.
- 5/5
The service from check in until check out was outstanding
- 3/5
Room was nice, friendly staff, but prices in every restaurant and bar were way overpriced for what was being served. The hotel also has some issues with the fire alarm in the place as it went off twice and one of those times was very early in the morning. Not fun
- 2/5
Inconvenient Food Policy: To make matters worse, the hotel has a policy that all food deliveries must be left in the lobby. I wouldn't mind this if there were a secure system, but the bags are simply left unsupervised on a table for anyone to grab. Having to go down several floors to pick up cold food from an open lobby is not the "hospitality" experience I expected. Overall, the lack of service and the strange restrictions made this an unpleasant stay. I won't be returning

After the horrendous ordeal of dealing with American Airlines flight cancelled, sleeping in the pit of hell (Miami Airport), the stay at this hotel was a welcomed reprieve!! The staff was amazing. Stephanie was exceptional!! She welcomed us listened, provided us guidance and fair to say peace. We are so appreciative of our experience at the Sheraton and would recommend staying here.

Great customer service, love the roof top with drinks and good food. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet including was very nice. Staff were very sweet. The gated parking lot was nice. I would recommend this hotel near Spectrum Center. I would stay again.
- 2/5
Scalding hot water in the shower only, air conditioning making startlingly loud clanging sounds every 20 minutes or so.
- 3/5
The bathroom sink had a yellowish residue around it that honestly looked like mucus, which was disgusting. I contacted the front desk, and they did send housekeeping along with the housekeeping manager. She explained that the residue was supposedly glue left behind from renovations, but regardless of the explanation, it should never have been left visible. It looked filthy and unhygienic. The bathtub was also dingy, with what appeared to be more glue residue around the edges. The bathroom door, which has frosted glass, was covered in paint and glue stains as well. The wallpaper in the room was peeling, and the carpet was lifting in places. There were also tiles missing in the elevator, which added to the overall rundown feel of the property. While the hotel itself did not meet cleanliness or renovation standards, I do want to note that the staff was extremely friendly and professional. The housekeeping staff and the housekeeping manager were especially kind and made a genuine effort to reclean the bathroom the best they could. Unfortunately, this hotel is being promoted as newly renovated or “new-ish,” which is very misleading. Overall, the property felt unfinished and poorly maintained, and I would not stay here again or recommend it to others expecting a clean, truly renovated hotel.

Everyone working the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious enough, and cleanly enough. The price was very decent for the hotel having downtown accessibility. Conversely, the parking was a bit pricely, but it was convenient, and I appreciated the in-and-out privileges that came with it. My only real complaint is with noise. From ~2 AM - 7 AM, there was relative quiet, but anytime outside those hours, the noise of cars from the higway behind the hotel is very present, and very very annoying. My running the fan for my room was not enough to drown that noise out once the morning rush began. But if you're a heavy sleeper, this spot will definitely be perfectly fine for you.

Friendly staff and big, clean rooms. The lobby was maybe being renovated so some things not fully working like the automatic doors. Parking is more expensive than listed. Overall nice experience though
- 5/5
Great overall

Upon getting to the hotel at check-in time, the type room we booked wasn’t ready or available. We were told we’d have to wait more time to get that type of room or could take a downgrade with no refund on difference. Or we could take a double queen room instead to still get the view we paid for. We chose the queen room so we didn’t have to wait. The beds were actually full size beds and uncomfortable for two adults to sleep in together. The shower was small and the bathroom sink had to stopper in it for the water. A very disappointing time and stay even for one night. Very inconvenient.

The staff was incredible !! Southern Hospitals is real ! Only thing is the exterior of the building needs maintenance like a was or a paint job. Also the shower water pressure is so intense. Need to change the fixtures. Other than that everything else was great !
- 5/5
Very nice and clean. In the city and close to everything
- 3/5
The room size was extremely deceptive, it wasn't very clean as well. Limited dining option. The late night check in gentleman the next day made our stay much more pleasant. He was helpful, told me some things we could do and that wAs nice. Oh, I didnt like the way the staff was treating what i assumed was a homless or less fortunate man. I brought him his food and I was then looked at by staff like a leopard. Sad but that was my experience so we extended our stay but stay elsewhere.
- 5/5
Everything went so smooth and this my first time really planning a trip
- 2/5
Room wasn’t that clean, I expected more. Plus the plumbing was weird. Shower was always cold and the sink faucet would splash everything. Wouldn’t stay here again. Also the parking was kind of a hassle.

Parking situation was a breeze! Being new to the city I thought it would be a little more hectic & complicated. Front desk girl was soooo nice & answered my questions. Room was spotless & the view was beautiful. If I ever go back to the city I will definitely be staying there again.
- 5/5
I think it would be better if there was a shopping area near the hotel.
- 3/5
we had requested two rooms on the same floor close by. This was because we had two grandchildren that were running between the rooms. But Sheraton was not able to schedule this. Parents were on eighth floor, grandparents were on 11th floor.
- 5/5
The area was great but on weekends is deserted, I guess the area is mostly government and office’s buildings. Very close to the Hall of fame but other than that very little to do unless you drive to another area

Paid for the room and still had to pay to park. Didn't print a parking reciept so I could expense it and when I called an attendant, they hung up me. No very professional at all!!
- 4/5
This was a good stay. Was only there one night. Front desk was not on top service. Place was extremely crowded. Some elevators out of service and repairs going on.
- 5/5
Lovely place
- 2/5
Didn't get the room we paid for, we didn't have a microwave and it takes forever for them to give your deposit back wasn't really my cup of tea
- 5/5
Miss Stephanie was awesome. Checking me in and out.
- 5/5
The pools were not heated, and that was one of the main amenities we wanted to use at the property so that was very disappointing
- 5/5
parking is a walking distance from the entrance
- 2/5
I did not like the room accommodations, they are very old and in poor condition.
- 5/5
Great escape for our anniversary with a night in charlotte
- 4/5
Staff was amazing. The first night my hallway smelled like Marijuana.
- 5/5
I love it
- 4/5
Our day was good. Love the after hours lounge, that was a nice surprise.
- 5/5
My family really enjoyed our stay here! They are still remodeling so there was inconvenience with everyone having to use the other elevators to use the indoor pool and gym, but this is to be expected with a remodel. The room was great and the fridge was obviously new since it still had the stickers inside it. LOVED that there is an indoor and outdoor pool and the convenience of the cafe in the lobby area is wonderful! A brewery, in the building and right outside the lobby, will be opening soon and we’re excited for that as well! Definitely recommend this hotel and will be back!
- 4/5
Very nice will stay again!
- 3/5
The bathroom door wouldn't close. The shower floor was grosse.
- 5/5
Parking is not free $25/night to park not included with room. Breakfast is very good as well
- 5/5
Informative abt the red rocks shuttle even though they don’t provide the transport
- 5/5
The hotel was great overall but the elevators were horribly slow and small so if you have somewhere to go leave your room a tad bit early but overall it was great. We will be back there soon.
- 5/5
Everything ead fine but the Elevators are super old and slow
- 5/5
Had a nice time
- 5/5
Staff was friendly annd helpful. Recommend using valet parking. Our low tire pressure light was on, so valet service even helped check my tires for a possible low tire and were prepared with an air pump. Room was big with modern furniture and lots of usb ports and outlets. Loved having a dining table with a chair and a bench. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but it was busy and clean.
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
We also had to change rooms because the shower in the first room was filthy, with hair and trash from previous guests (including used soap packaging). We took photos as proof. The worst part came the next morning when we were literally stuck inside our room due to a safety latch that was incorrectly installed and wouldn't allow the door to open—a serious safety hazard. Later, we were locked out of the same room when the faulty latch engaged itself. Maintenance had to forcibly remove the latch, and it remained broken for the rest of our stay. Overall, this was a terrible experience and we absolutely would not recommend this location to anyone.
- 5/5
When we first got there the front desk staff was amazing! They were all very helpful and very pleasant. It caused such a good first impression!
- 5/5
It was a great property no complaints
- 5/5
Brian was super helpful & made my stay a breeze. Will definitely stay at this hotel again , very convenient & overall nice & quiet
- 5/5
Nice hotel close to everything in the city
- 3/5
No air conditioning
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Nice!
- 4/5
.
- 3/5
Customer service wasn’t the best. Outside had Magnum box on the grounds for days. Housekeeping staff was nice but the frontend specialists need more training. A lot of outside noise, but I guess you can expect that. The floors are dated in the elevators and hallways.
- 5/5
Fantastic day we are coming back every time we come to Charlotte
- 5/5
Despite being in some areas under repair, it is generally very comfortable and clean, the staff is very attentive, especially (ron) the person at check-in at the entrance to the lobby.
- 5/5
I live close to Charlotte, this was a special night I planned for my 17 year old, here recently turned 17. He wanted to see the city lights and stay overnight in Charlotte. The staff was great, Jamelia and Stephanie was so very welcoming and helpful. The evening staff, Ron,Shenae, and Zeke was also friendly and inviting. The Sheraton has a great staff all the way around. Room was clean, both beds comfortable, nice sized bathroom, an amazing view to the city, and most importantly, it was clean and I felt comfortable staying. Will definitely be back
- 4/5
Perfect area uptown Charlotte. Everything was walkable or very close driving. Hotel itself was under renovation so that sucked with only 2 elevators working
- 4/5
The hotel is a little bit outdated. The pool area needs to be renovated room. Cleaning service is too early 9 AM. It’s ridiculous.
- 5/5
Great hotel!
- 5/5
Check in was super great! We got there at 10am and check in time is 4pm. They locked up our bags for us so we could walk around and explore uptown while we waited. The restaurant was great and good drinks. The roof top bar has great views.
- 4/5
Everything was ok except that there wasn’t a fridge in the room and the ice machine doesn’t work
- 5/5
I have zero complaints!…. And I always complain. I highly recommend this hotel,
- 5/5
The view was amazing from our room
- 3/5
Paid for a double bed room and instead got a king size bed room.
- 5/5
Brought my 12 year oldson on an adventure to Charlotte and he kept saying "This is my favorite hotel ever"
- 3/5
When we first checked in our room we had no lock on the door and the air and cooler wasn’t working.
- 1/5
The bathroom is outdated and dirty. Indoor pool is closed. The view shown on their profile here is also closed. Bad employee and management attitude. This cant be 4 stars hotel!
- 5/5
Nice Area to Stay in!
- 1/5
My room reeked of spray paint, shower water came out brown, hotel parking was dirty trash all over the ground, $30 to park for less than 12 hours. Construction above started 8am sharp. Hammering nails and cutting into walls.
- 4/5
Overall nice hotel, small pool, nice restaurant and bar. It is connected to Lè Méridien and I would prefer to stay on that side, but it still worked for a 2 day stay. My room was on the top floor, very clean, but did smell like feet the entire time.
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Clean. Nice staff. Pool wasn't open like it said it was. Besides that it was great!
- 5/5
Walkable to uptown
- 5/5
Great Overnight Stay for Business, 5 Star Clean and Comfort
- 4/5
Overall a nice property with good service. There was no hot water though. They did their best to accommodate and I believe it was a one time issue.
- 5/5
My room had everything I would need. No complaints.
- 5/5
So, we went to check in and discovered that we had been moved to Le Meridien. It wasn't a big issue since it was just next door, but it would have been nice to have been informed ahead of time. The room was very clean. The service was friendly, although the hotel elevators were a bit temperamental; sometimes they worked and took you to your floor, while other times you had to insert your key card to access your floor. It didn’t really make much sense. The food was quite good. I was just a bit let down that the continental self-serve buffet for breakfast cost $25 per person. It could have been priced a little more reasonably, especially given the amount we pay for the rooms each night.
- 4/5
The location was perfect for the Bank of America stadium. The shower water did not get hot though. Feel their checkin system was slow it was explained they had computer issues.
- 5/5
It was the best birthday I’ve had since
- 5/5
Lovely place.
- 3/5
Hotel overall was great. However, there was no hot water for showers last night or the next morning.
- 5/5
I
- 4/5
Very nice Hotel. Staff was super friendly & courteous. Room was nice & neat. Had an issue with the shower door but they immediately fixed the problem. I think the property can use some upgrades in the pool area (the pool was closed) for swimming but was able to hang out poolside. Housekeeping didnt show up until Saturday though. I checked in on Thursday. 😕 But all in all it was a nice stay. I had a city view room and sunset/and nights were the best.
- 5/5
Sry nice asusual
- 5/5
The best hotel in Charlotte for our company vacation
- 5/5
Excellent staff, very friendly.
- 5/5
This hotel was probably the best one ever! So we came here after a special condition and we didn't think it would be that good. But turns out, we had a great stay. The lounge for one of the restaurants was spectacular! I also loved that there was cabanas that you could claim where the pool was. And I have to say, the rooms were pretty nice.
- 4/5
Was a little further from stadium than we anticipated but that’s not their fault.
- 5/5
Great for it customer service, cleanliness, parking, restaurant and number one ROOFTOP
- 2/5
Hot water don’t work and rooms are super hot
- 5/5
Great location
- 1/5
Please have a manager reach out to me. I was told I had to have a member number with the business in order to file a complaint and have something done. I called the 800 number and they said that’s incorrect. Before I post pictures and videos, I’ll wait for a response from an agent about my stay. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay based on my first time visit and the room I was given.
- 5/5
Spacious room. Very helpful staff for whatever you needed for the room or extra services to fix whatever problem came about. Clean room, clean bed. Only thing i would fix is to add a microwave. You have to go downstairs to heat food up. It would be way more convenient to have it in your room. But overall, lovely stay & hotel
- 3/5
that did not drain properly, we had to ask multiple times to have someone clean the bathroom after the tub was unclogged & eventually had to request another room. The new room however had a battery for the key fob that needed to be changed so we were inconvenienced yet again. Although the staff were able to fix our issues, the overall stay was just not the best and nothing I’ve experienced at a hotel. Also there were other rooms that were drastically renovated than both of the rooms we stayed in. Won’t be going back.
- 5/5
I was able to check in a few early and the room and grounds are nice and clean and new. The food at the restaurant wasn’t much of a selection but the dishes we ate were phenomenal!
- 4/5
Everything was groovy! However at check in they only had one person working so it took about 10-15 minutes to get checked in. Water in the sink and shower backed up a little but not terribly. Overall everything looked great.
- 5/5
The hotel's location is excellent — close to downtown, restaurants, and attractions, yet still peaceful. I also really enjoyed the modern feel of the hotel and the great on-site dining options. The service throughout my stay was consistently attentive and professional. Overall, the Sheraton Charlotte Hotel exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Charlotte, whether for business or leisure, and I look forward to staying here again in the future!
- 5/5
I need to be in Charlotte about once a month. This hotel will now be my second home. Clean, great customer service, and a great breakfast.
- 5/5
Easy check-in. Friendly staff.
- 2/5
Avoid this place - poor service, not clean
- 5/5
Easy to check in
- 5/5
I’d stay here again
- 1/5
Unfortunately, the bed was like sleeping on concrete. It was unbelievably hard and unforgiving. The pillows were flat, lumpy, and offered no support. I woke up multiple times during the night in pain, and by morning, I had severe neck and shoulder pain that I’m still dealing with days later. My range of motion has been significantly limited, and I have never had a hotel bed cause me this much discomfort. My husband also woke up sore, though thankfully not to the extent that I did. I truly cannot overstate how awful the bed was. It was the worst sleep surface I have ever experienced, and I have stayed in everything from budget motels to high-end resorts. While everything else about the property was fine, the entire point of a hotel stay is to rest, and that just was not possible here. I would not return or recommend staying unless the beds are replaced
- 4/5
we were there due to a visit to the hospital. the room quality helped us to gain a better, less-fearful state of mind
- 3/5
Hotel was under construction and the workers started working at 8 am it felt they were hammering and using drills right on top of our room
- 5/5
Birthday stay in Charlotte with family was nice fun night hotel was very clean nice staff
- 5/5
Beautiful property real FANCY!!!!
- 1/5
Parking there was 75$ because they charged me 2 nights and I had to pay to get out
- 5/5
Amazing place
- 5/5
Our stay was amazing definitely will be back!
- 4/5
Nice atmosphere. The rooftop patio is excellent!
- 5/5
Beautiful property, great clean room, comfy bed, great breakfast.
- 1/5
The lady at the front desk was very rude this morning 4/6
- 5/5
It was great ! I loved it !
- 1/5
We booked a king
- 5/5
I love everything about this hotel!! The only place I stay when I go to Charlotte
- 3/5
And acting as if they were housekeepers at around 11pm on the first night we were there
- 5/5
Easy
- 2/5
Downgraded us because we booked through hotels.com. Promised us free breakfast to make up for it, and then charged us for breakfast. It was just a huge headache for only staying two nights. There were also two huge conventions on both nights we stayed, to the point it was difficult walking through the lobby just to catch the elevator. Would either just avoid the Sheraton or book directly through them because they don’t care about their guests at all.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Very friendly and professional staff. Made us feel welcomed and comfortable in every way.
- 3/5
My room 301 was extremely noisy you could hear everyone flushing the toilet or taking a shower. Very loud. Room is also very dark. Need more lights. Other than that it was very nice
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
Problem with my card to open the room door. They couldn’t fix it till next day. After claiming from door. I didn’t expect it for Sheraton
- 4/5
The room was not the best kept: there was a random white mini fridge just sitting under the desk as if there was no other place they could find to put it (or no other color to better match the decor). No closet in the room or place to hang clothing. The back of the bathroom door was falling apart, I assume the wood was warped from water damage. There was a loud noise about every 20 minutes all night in the room.
- 1/5
They were doing work in the room above us. I understand that some stuff just needs to happen but it went on after 6 in the evening and started again at 7 am the next morning. I complained to the front desk twice and they said they would take care of it. It indeed stopped...for about 5 minutes. Saws, hammering and random banging. Just ridiculous. The worst experience I've had staying at a hotel in my life. They also fail to mention that you have to pay for parking in THEIR PARKING DECK! Just unacceptable. The front desk staff, both on the phone and in person were absolutely no help whatsoever. The person at check out just said to talk to Expedia about maybe getting a refund. No accountability. Both of my neighbors were complaining this morning to me and my wife. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. can't say it strongly enough, worst hotel experience ever.
- 2/5
Check in was easy & fast. We paid for parking but the room key never worked to get in/out of the parking lot. There was constantly a hitting noise on my ceiling from someone above me; all times of the day/night. My friend stayed in the room next door complained to the front desk of the same probably but the noise persisted. The room had a sewage smell upon entering as well. The location was close to most of my destinations downtown so that was a pro.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 4/5
When I first walked into the hotel, I was greeted well. The manager assist me with everything that I need to know about the hotel. The room was new and it was very clean.
- 3/5
Hotel needs renovation inside rooms
- 2/5
Rude staff, old building, cleaning service not great
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Very professional and attention to details. They were easily approachable and created a friendly atmosphere.
- 5/5
Modern hotel in great location with comfy rooms and good breakfast.
- 5/5
Walkable to uptown
- 5/5
Awesome
- 2/5
I arrived at the hotel almost an hour after check-in started only to be told my room wasn’t ready. I had somewhere to be and did not come back to the hotel until around 10 or 11pm. I went to go check-in, and it seemed like they were still having trouble accommodating me. I ended up getting a room, despite it not being the one I’d originally booked.
- 1/5
1) when I went to check there was no one at the registration desk. I waited 20 minutes and had to walk back out to ask valet guy to find someone for the front desk. 2) the room was not ready. At 11pm at night! I traveled for 9 hours and wanted to rest. 3) the room I booked with a king bed wasn’t available. I had to get twin beds. I’m tall and the small beds don’t work. 4) loud banging started at 8am. While I was trying to take my morning meetings online I had to keep muting myself because the banging of construction the floor beneath me was so loud! 5) no hot water! Tried to take a shower with cold water only. Terrible. 6) the iron didn’t work.. So I had to show up to my meetings. Looking tired from no rest and hammering all morning. No shower. And no pressed suit!! Sucks.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Rooms were older but clean.
- 5/5
Overall pretty good
- 4/5
Other then my room not being ready when I got there on time I will always stay at this hotel when I come to charlotte
- 1/5
My room floor had cheez-it on the floor and something in front on my closet. I also paid for a king size bed which I did not receive and was placed elsewhere into a room with a broken thermostat where I froze all night. It was a terrible experience for me.
- 1/5
They charge me twice for the hotel room I was highly upset ratings terrible
- 2/5
Not return
- 2/5
My room was not ready for check-in at 4 PM. I paid for parking and my car key would not work several times. Also the room next to me loud music cussing fighting.
- 3/5
While we were there… The day that we were checking out it was construction going on above us… We were awakened from our sleep by the noise… I called down to the Front Desk who stated they were going to check into it and we received no response and the noise continued… It would’ve been great if the guests were notified beforehand about the construction.
- 3/5
Hotel was very nice, my shower was clogged, but very good atmosphere
- 1/5
The property itself at first sight is nice. Lobby, ballroom, bar area, are very nice. However my room was not even though it was in the traditional side my room smelled like cigarettes, the hot water was on at times and off at other times,. The bathroom looked like an old gas station stall with lots of wood chipping, ceilings were bubbles which looked like there may have been leaks, mold in bathroom vents, and lastly there was an old white refrigerator under the night stand. Security was called throughout the night for young party crowds and most people didn’t settle down until 4am. I seen this hotel as overpriced and even though lobby and bar area was nice it gave motel vibes in and around the room. Lastly they give a $4 price option for breakfast when booking that’s not added to the itenerary.that is price gouging and false advertisement. I have pictures as well if all that I’m saying.
- 5/5
It was very clean
- 5/5
Easy Check in, Friendly staff, Very clean
- 2/5
I couldn’t take a shower due to no hot water!! Ruined my Valentine’s Day
- 3/5
The hotel room was great. However we paid for a city view and this was not a city view so they offered us a late check of an hour later...sadly we woke up to banging on walls and ceiling at 9 am...we were offered ear plugs for the construction...other things to list but oversll disappointed
- 5/5
I loved it, close to my concert and accessible
- 3/5
Breakfast buffet was not worth 25$, parking $25, we didn’t sleep-our room was next to the elevator and we could hear the sounds of the elevator, some kids knocking on doors at 1am playing games. The carpet in our room was dirty with some wet spot. First time staying at Sheraton and most likely not going to again.
- 3/5
Bed was caved in, mattress was horrible. You could see the indentations on each side of the bed. Valet was inattentive and we had to get our own car
- 4/5
The hotel is ok
- 5/5
I was on the 10th floor in a city view room that was sooooo beautiful! I proposed here and it was amazing!
- 5/5
Very nice property and friendly staff
- 4/5
Nice
- 5/5
I was in town for the weekend for a concert. My guest and i enjoyed the property. All of our expectations were met.
- 5/5
Room was very clean
- 5/5
The mangers and staff was amazing we had a great time
- 2/5
The shower floor is “crooked” - the water doesn’t run to the drain, it runs to the side of the shower and there must be a crack or something in the tile because after I got out of the shower, there was A LOT of water on the bathroom floor. The room was nice enough, the bed was comfortable. I spent a total of 10 hours in the room-nothing great, but other than the bathroom problems, it was fine. 2 1/2 stars
- 3/5
Good location
- 5/5
Great, above and beyond
- 4/5
Overall it was a nice stay. A couple of attendants at the front need to work on their “warmth” and explanation of charges etc. rather than assuming all guests are all-knowing. The room we were in was clean but you could clearly see they put “bandages” over things that needed to be fully redone. The showers were kind of a mess, and really the bathroom overall. Floors looked as if they needed a deeper clean. However we slept well and enjoyed the amenities and enjoyed our stay overall.
- 5/5
Toliet had urine around the seat
- 2/5
Rooms were not ready when promised
- 5/5
We love it
- 5/5
Very convenient and clean. Room service was good!
- 1/5
Was denied stay at the checkin counter
- 4/5
PAYING to park the car is a bush league extra fee, shame on you guys at Sheraton, Charlotte. Just increase the price and include the parking. Its juvenile.
- 5/5
Came here for a football game. The hotel gave me a great experience with all the amenities in the lobby. The staff was kind and amazing. The room was affordable and comfortable.
- 5/5
Good service. Nice room. Satisfied with every expectation and the breakfast was accommodated with variety.
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
Customer service was OUTSTANDING!!! One staff associate in particular, Stephanie, was able to accommodate our early check-in request which made traveling plans run smooth. The drinks at the bar exceeded our expectations! The location of the hotel was in close proximity to the Spectrum Center and restaurants we had on our list to visit. The hotel lobby was beautiful and our city view room was nice and clean. Would highly recommend this property. 5 star rating!!!
- 1/5
The property was not great. Our windows leaked. We heard sirens and fighting outside all night long and we were on the 9th floor. Our room was not very clean and the bed and pillows were terrible. Will never stay here again.
