Arrived late night and room was with terrible odor. Next day left early morning and requested through Expedia to address this, came back late afternoon and nothing was done, room was not even made or cleaned! Definitely not staying at that property again!

No safe in the room, the breakfast was ok.

Location was great I didn’t get any rest due to hearing alarms all night didn’t experience the breakfast due to lack of sleep let alone there were kids in the next room making a lot of noises as well

We stayed at this hotel for a family wedding. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. This hotel seems to be popular with traveling sports teams. There were some nights it was very loud and the common areas were always full.

The hotel is nice. It’s clean and the staff work hard. They are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is awful. I ate there one day. This is needs to change. The area is beautiful but more security. The parking lot is too dim. Beds are comfortable. I had a couple unpleasant experiences in the few days I was there. Overall: 8/10

The AC was weak and the room was a little dated. The hallways smelt and the laundry smelled like something had died in it.

I love the fact that the front desk male clerk was so helpful, he was full of energy and very informative. He also had a very welcoming personality. I’m planning on relocating and he gave some helpful information. I also like how the rooms were set up. Very nice looking and up to date. We had a view of the street which I enjoyed. The hotel also had a bar and patio area which I enjoyed. Definitely was a beautiful building. The water had a nice pressure and it was hot which I also love. The bed was not comfortable (to me) and the breakfast was a 4/10. I wish they also served scrambled eggs and bacon. I noticed heavy dust surrounding our tv area, wasn’t a big deal I used some Lysol wipes to wipe down heavily used areas. I wished they had attachable shower hose for the shower.

The location was good. The wall that house the elevator button appeared to be locked in. It looked like the had a fire or busted pipes based on the appearance of the wallpaper. It looked like water stains on the walls . Hair was in the tub. The front right corner of the bed skirting had a large stain. The bathroom curtain had a large whole in it. The bathtub was stained badly, the towels were hard & stiff, and the bed was hard. My husband and I were frustrated. We’ve never experienced this at a Hilton before.

Easy parking and check in! Loved the suite we stayed in. We did have to wait a little while (less than 1 hour) at check in as they had been sold out before. Shared the hotel with multiple middle school through college sports teams but no issues with that at all. Easy and delicious breakfast options too

We stayed in a king suite, rm 520, it wa spacious, thoughtful layout and the room was clean. Staff was friendly and provided wonderful service. Check in and check out was a breeze. Would definitely recommend.

Rude staff, watered down Marriott property with bare minimum functionalities for a tired business traveler. Front desk female clerk treated me TERRIBLE.

The room was fine, except thst i got eaten alive by bed bugs or some other insect. I had bites all over my legs and arns from ny 4 night stay.

The room and entire hotel were clean and well-kept. My child had a great time at the indoor pool. Good breakfast with plenty of gluten free options. I will definitely look to stay at this place the next time we are in the area.

The staff was so helpful and courteous. But...and a big but...we've been there for 5 days but the housekeeper cane only once. And the worst part is there was even a spider web in the bathroom floor that stayed there, till we left. But after that, it was good (the food, the pool, the gym, the people)

Staff was polite and parking was free. Breakfast was as bare bones as it comes. Took the water in the shower over 5 minutes of running before it went warmer than ice cold, then it went to burning hot. Very tough and time intensive to get a normal shower temperature.

Poor design. Desk light blasts light onto sleeping person. Bathroom door has translucent pane, so turning on a bathroom light at night blasts light onto the bed. Not nice for a sleeping person. Inadequate racks for bath towels and bathmat. Original room had a dripping water leak around the shower overhead light-- a potential electrical shot and fire hazard.

We enjoyed our stay ! I don't have any criticisms. The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and had a variety to accomodate for dietary preferences.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Room layout was nice, with a sofa, desk, and space to walk around the bed. Shower pressure was great. Toilet was small, small as not your average height, which makes it uncomfortable for tall people. Breakfast was typical, sausages, bagels, oatmeal, yoghurt and a waffle maker. Not very plentiful like other places. Night shift was pretty indifferent. There were no carts available, when we asked an employee he said they had but he didn’t know where to find them. He didn’t offer himself to ask around. Then a couple of other people around the front desk saw me struggling taking things and nobody offered help. Check in was fast but an AI would have probably been more welcoming. Stay was fine. Price was right. Not planning to come back in the near future. Customer service is important for me. If you don’t care much. I recommend.

The bathroom sink does not drain well in room 411 and the shower faucet needs to be fastened to the wall better.

We did this for Father’s Day. The indoor pool was so fun and it was convenient to all of Charlotte and the surrounding area

The morning breakfast was very good! I found the items for sale a little high. The staff at the front desk was very professional and friendly Wednesday to Saturday. The young man on Saturday was not friendly at all.

The women from Wednesday September 10th to Friday September 12th were very professional and friendly. The man on Saturday September 13th wasn't so friendly.

Room was hot. Bed was hard & super uncomfortable. I stay here every trip to Charlotte. But never again. We checked out & went to Renaissance. A much nicer hotel.

SHS was amazing as always. Rooms very clean, halls and elevator. Lobby spotless. Staff friendlay and so quiet during sleep hours. Breakfast was tasty as well. An overall great experience

Customer service was great and staff

This is a nice facility. And our second stay while visiting Charlotte for shows at the Amp Ballentyne. My only issue was that breakfast cuts off at 9:30 sharp. I made it to the lobby at 9:32 and the cleanup person already had everything wrapped up. Didnt even offer a pastery or fruit.

Like polished poop. I’m not sure why this hotel has such positive reviews. I’m not really hard to please but: the sliding door for the bathroom would not stay shut so we had to wedge a shoe in so that we could use the restroom in privacy, we got a room with a fold out bed couch and the bed had no sheets in the room and was stained with what looked like blood. We kept it closed and layered the main bed’s comforter on it. The shower handle nearly came out of the wall. Those were the worst things, but of course we were in town for a swim meet and didn’t get to our room until pretty late so just put up with it. It’s like they used a contractor to do refurbishments and they did really subpar, cheap and shoddy fixes, like just putting a bandaid on things. Also not as important but I would not recommend using the pool. It is disgusting. Hopefully you can find somewhere better. I don’t recommend!

It would be nice to have options besides cheesy omlets as well, such as scrambled eggs. Not everyone cares for cheese on eggs. As well as to half and half pork/turkey sausage. Not everyone likes pork only and not everyone cares for turkey sausage.

My stay was great. Hotel was clean. Room was spacious and the staff were very friendly.

The room was lovely, the lobby was great, the one front desk staff was exemplary. I was there for a seminar which was from 8 am - 8 pm every day. The conference room we were in had NO AIR CONDITIONING for the entire 4 days of my stay! It was 80+ degrees every day and was almost to the point of being unhealthy. All we got were different excuses from each staff person who was approached about this. Pretty sure our group will NOT be back.

BE CAREFUL!!! If you are in a vacation, DON’T stay here. This hotel is monitored by gang of thieves. I had horrible experience where the boss of housekeeping team was trying to enter our room several times although the sign of “don’t disturb” was there. On the last night of our stay, our vehicle was broken into. This hotel is not safe for families nor for tourists.

The first two days the kids went to the pool are were it was hotter in there than outside ridiculous. A dead insect was on the floor at the pool for three days. Very disappointing stay. I expect better from The Marriott Brands! LisaK 07/2025 stay. 😟 Great breakfast!

It was a perfectly fine hotel, but the location was annoying. Traffic was awful and getting in/out of the hotel was limited. Very annoying.

This was a convenient and easy stay. I appreciated the free parking right at the hotel. Check in and check out were very quick. There is an ice machine on every floor. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of seating for the breakfast crowd and there were plenty of options.

In addition, we must have chosen a time when a baseball team was present bc kids were running all around the hotel, playing hide and seek outside of the hotel, flying drones in people’s personal space, and signs were clearly posted about no outside alcohol in the lobby, and they were clearly ignored as large coolers were present. It definitely did NOT offer the family vibe that it should have and was a total sham. We made the best out of what we could. Oh, and yeah..the pool was dirty and cloudy, no clean towels, and kids unsupervised. Smh!

Good stay option in the Charlotte area. The rooms are well appointed and roomy enough for 3 kids and 2 Adults. I liked that the toilet and shower were a split set up. Would stay there again.

The shower tub needs a mat. It is very very slick. I also fell. Very dangerous.

It was ok, just a lot of people and breakfast doesn’t open until 7. I had to be somewhere that morning for work at 7 so I was unable to eat breakfast at the hotel.

Staff is very nice. Rooms are clean and updated. Beds are very comfortable. It was quiet in the room even though the hotel was bustling with families and kids in town for a baseball tournament. My only gripes are that: (1) the room was a little narrower than most suites I've stayed in--it felt a little cramped; and (2) the breakfast was a little more limited in options than the standard hotel breakfast

The property was excellent, but it always takes them too long to return your deposit money. Quick to take, slow to return.

When we were unpacked and ready to sleep, we noticed that the a/c would not turn on at all. Contacted the front desk and they sent a gentleman to our room to look at it and he couldn’t communicate in English. The a/c never did fixed. Uncomfortable night.

It was ok. There was a kids hockey tournament in town and as a result there was more noise tgam expected. Kids will be kids. Breakfast was good and service was great. Hotel is rather dated as we experienced some mechanical issues with toilet, sink and fridge. Next time i will pay abit more for some more comfort and amenities.
