The guy that checked us in was very rude. The pillows were paper thin and the shower was an absolute geyser of water. But the room did not smell of cigarettes which was awesome! And the AC was great and if you can play some white noise on your phone to drown out the fire alarm constantly beeping in the hallway, then you’ll be great!

Close to downtown. The elevator was not working, so I had to carry my luggage up 3 flights of stairs. When I got to the top, my key did not work to open the hallway door. That was super frustrating. It gave me issues all weekend.

Rooms are nice. Hot water in the mornings can be iffy. Icemake in tje back doesn't work. Other than that, it's a great place to stay for the price and location is great for travelers on I-85.

Having a room on the third floor with an internal hallway door instead of an external door I think helped. The entire property smelled of Swisher Sweets and pot. The placement of the bathroom sink crowded the toilet so that you had to put an arm up to sit on it, so forget using it to put your underwear on after a shower. In the shower, the shampoo is sealed shut with a layer of plastic there's no way to open; I had to step on the tube to burst it open. The mattress was oddly contoured so that my head was lower than my ribcage. The a/c was cold and the curtains were effective, so it was serviceable for a single overnight stay when we weren't in the room much, but we wouldn't stay there again.

The room itself was fairly clean. Beds were made and bathroom was stocked. The hotel itself wasn’t in the best area and it didn’t smell amazing in the hallways but the inside of the room was fine. Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable but for a single night it was fine. All in all I got what I paid for but it wasn’t amazing.

Freezing cold ac, and convenient location. Restaurants, fast food, and the airport within the 5 mile radius. Shower and sink took roughly around 30 min to get completely warm and then hot.

I arrived there and did not feel comfortable even getting out of my vehicle. There were people in the parking lot who had taken off their car door and were working on it. It’s obvious this is more of an “extended” stay place. There was a lot of “movement”going on. I did not feel safe there. I was traveling alone. I ended up not checking in and going somewhere else. I messaged them for a refund but still have not heard back.

The night i went to check in the was a fist figh between 3 women on the second floor i told the worker and he did nothing. On the 2 night there was a woman historically crying and screaming to being to be let into her room from The first floor, it was so frightening it woke.me out of my sleep. I peeked ttjrouthe window.and noone came to help her. She screamed help me 3 time then went silent. Definitely wont want to stay here again.

The pillows were way too flat and not enough for a king size bed for two people. The windows are very thin so you hear everything outside. There was not enough hot water to take one shower. The water was luke warm and cold. The hotel was very clean though. The ice machine has been broken for a while because it was covered in dust. It was fine for a one night stay and for what we paid for, but there are some sketchy people in the area so we kept checking our vehicle throughout the night.

Loved how clean the room was, didn't have to worry about bugs or pest at all, staff was nice and helpful. Would absolutely recommend staying here to friends and family, at a decent price and closeby to most places like Walmart, Food Lion, the airport etc, and is only 5 min walking distance to a convient store/gas station as well. Couldn't have a caged animal even if I offered to pay a deposit. Can be somewhat noisy with the interstate behind the hotel. But, it's understandable though honestly.

Dogs so I was denied that I can stay there based on a discriminatory act on my illnesses and disabilities that I couldn't stay there. They refused to refund me my money. They went through some stupid a** game with booking. dot com, and I actually had to get in contact with my bank 3 days later in order to make sure that I got my money back. So it's complete garbage.The outside looks like trash to be honest.And nobody has any respect.I mean, what respect is there?If you're going to be that disrespectful to a disabled veteran with the service dog.I mean, what the f*** else do I have to do for my country?D***I can't even have a roof over my head.Well, i'm glad it wasn't this place now.That I think about it Everything everything in the world I didn't like about it. First I must say this place doesn't have a lobby so the picture on Expedia of a lobby is a sham.They have a cleaner that doesn't do a good job I always have to come and clean the counters myself.No coffee maker i ask for a plastic spoon one time attendant said they have no spoons. The shower is a little tricky to operate i always have a hard time figuring out where the hot water is but it works, no breakfast.

I booked this for my daughter who got stuck in the Charlotte airport because of the weather. They gave her a key to a room that was occupied and when she open the door there was a guy in his underwear smoking a cigarette. You can't make this stuff up. She was horrified and barely slept. How does something like this even happen?

The courtesy and hospitality I received during my stay at Studios & Suite 4 Less was not far from amazing. The kindness shown and the constant checking in to make sure I had the essentials added to the stay. I must and will testify that God met me there and reminded me that He will meet His children inside of a studio, suite, or a room, wherever He's invited. As I end my stay today at Studios & Suite 4 Less; I am grateful God provided for many of us to have a place to stay, away from the cold temperature and many things deemed to be unsafe. I pray we see the blessing in the small things. God knows what we need and He will provide. Again, a huge thanks to the Owner and staff for the kindness and hospitality shown during a time we all needed most. Continuous blessings.... ~ NRH

This area does not feel safe. People outside watching you at your car and asking for drugs. The TV doesn’t work nor does the HDMI cable so it was gray screen all night. The lady at the front desk had no clue what was going on. Overall I would not stay here again, it was clean do the most part but everything else pretty much outweighs anything good it was not actually good at all

The room was noisy and the ambience was one of not being safe. The only safe part was due to vagrancy there were regular police patrols through the parking lot.

Room was clean, however the hotel itself has very little amenities. Claims to be a Non Smoking facility, but there was a smell of pot throughout the entire hotel, inside and out. When we were checking in there was someone that yelled “bang” then ran into the elevator, seeing on the camera that the individual was under the influence. As soon as the sun went down, the 3rd floor balcony was littered with women dressed inappropriately. Can’t forget to mention the immense amount of traffic throughout the night.

For the price, it is hard to complain. However, the place reeked of old cigarette smoke. Since it is a "no-smoking" property, this must be very old. They really need to replace the hall carpeting. The bricks out front are loose - a trip hazard. The staff was not very friendly. Finally, for guests on the third floor, there is no stairway to/from the landing, so if you happened to be there at the time of an emergency, your choices would be to take the elevator or jump. This is not very reassuring.

My stay was horrible. The hotel is obviously a drug trafficking location! I actually saw a transaction occur on the 3rd floor, near the elevator! Also. There are families with small children living there! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nothing wrong with the staff, just that they were behind a glass so you could tell that the place was ghetto so this review is not about them. They accomated my late check-in and the gentlemen who I spoke to on the phone to help was kind. Now the place, sketchy area, smelled of substance and I am not a smoker so I only stayed 2 hours despite my late check-in. Caution tape over one of the rooms, sketchy men looking at me in the hallway as a solo traveling girl. The light in my room didnt turn on but I was so freaked out by the men in the hallway that I didnt go downstairs, that's how unsafe this place feels. It is the hotel location so I am sure they can only do so much, so book at your own risk.

We were greeted like convicts. Clerk behind plexiglass who as cold as a dead fish. Not welcoming at all. Another customer at the window was complaining about his key not working again. Horrible curtains that didn’t close properly. Tub horrible, blankets full of burn holes . Cigarette marks everywhere. Room was not cleaned at all after first day. Terrible.

The outside of the hotel was tattooed in weird stains. It was completel filthy. When checking in, I was asked “How many kids?” Ok fine. Seems standard I guess. But then “How old are the kids?” That weirded me out. What do the ages matter?? To add to the creepiness, he personally wrote down their ages, he didn’t put them in a specific place on an official document. When we got to the hallway to go to our room, the carpeting was absolutely FILTHY and uneven. It was some sort of weird square pattern. The hallways and our room reeked of cigarettes despite being a “SMOKE FREE FACILITY”. The air conditioning in our room was loud and barely worked. It also went in and out, sometimes not working at all. The room was right next to the highway aka very loud. Cherry on top: When our son got into bed, he shrieked. Why? There was a freaking used band aid in the bed. A BAND AID. Absolutely repulsing.

The office and rooms had a over powering smell of disinfectant cleaner to the point of nausea.Small children were running around the parking lot at all hours of the day and night.Overall dirtiness throughout. Over 1/2 of the property looked to be at various states of construction or demolition.

I booked the room the day before not knowing that I'd have to wait until 3PM that afternoon when I had my daughter with me and had to sleep outside and wait outside for my room. Came back at 3PM and still had to wait another hour and 30mins to get my room which should have been ready at 3PM. Then I was expected to be out the room at 11AM. That is not fair at all..

There was no continental breakfast and the lobby was closed. And I should be expected to have breakfast when I get up before going to work

The original room they gave me was a literal construction zone. There were so many vagrants in the parking lot and around the hotel that you could not walk 150ft to your car qithout being stopped 3 times with people asking for money or to be given a ride somewhere. The police showed up for belligerent guest 3 times and I only stayed one single night.

I usually enjoy my stay here but this time was different we were place in a room and could hear traffic and noise all day and night they refrigerator was not cold enough for our drinks and the property manager who is always friendly was not still nice place to stay but probably won't return

This is a transient type place. People live there for short periods of time. The building says no smoking but it permeates the rooms. Fire alarm went off twice at 3 am I had babies with me. People outside drinking out of brown bags and at night the place comes alive. Shower had standing water when you showered. Stingy with towels and wash cloths. Said it was mandatory that they come in your room and clean. My room was not cleaned when I went in cookies on the floor. I did not feel threatened but some may. I will not stay there again

Negatives: the mattress was hard as a rock, the pillows were flatter than my grandmas backside, the one blanket was thinner than my school teachers patience, and the marijuana seeped through every pore into every surface of the room-that place was higher than Snoop at a concert.

The Black Lady at the front desk is rude for no reason

We never been to a hotel like this. For starters, there was no entrance to the front desk I had to talk through a window. Then when I did, he handed me a printed paper you couldn't read because the ink wasn't dark enough, He just explained to me to sign acknowledging there was no smoking in the room. When got to the very outdated room, the room already smelled of smoke to include the linens and bedding. To include the sinks and bathtub had burn marks throughout. The bed was so hard we didn't sleep all night. There are people just hanging out around the back all day & night which makes you feel illegal activity is going on. I was worried about my car being stolen all night. Then around 7am a couple was arguing and cursing at one other outside to a point we just got up and left. I've stayed at some crappy hotels, but this is for sure the absolute WORST EVER!

The manager, day manager I presume, for the property was the only highlight he explained and expedited the bed frame change, along with contractor installing frame, while I worked. Stay away unless its an emergency stop.

I paid for 2 days. Check the reservation, it said 2 days. They kicked us out after 1 night! The hotel said the, were paid for one night and you kept the mone, crom the second night. I am in the process of hiring an attorney in order to sue you. This is the worst hotel experience I ever had in 60 years of living!

You have 15 minutes to get a refund, do yourself a favor check in, and check right back out. After 15 minutes You go to your room and come back. It’ll be over 15 minutes, and they’ll charge you for the day. Two words to express my visit never again!

I will never go to this place again nasty dirty bugs nothing worked right loose dogs they rushed me out my room at 9:30 when check out is 11 I advise no one to go to this place

The property is situated between two other properties. This one is the loud, more run down of the three. Staff was friendly, no lobby, room was clean and maintained well. Common areas were non existent or closed down.

It is not a safe environment to travel alone for sure
