hotel surroundings could have been better. pool not open and the sauna room also not ready for use. Breakfast and front desk were highlights!!!

The D entrance is missing a lot of concrete on the step where you go in the door.

Best shower ever! Excellent water pressure. Great breakfast. Scrambled eggs and sausage plus lots of other items. Pancake maker.. never seen that before.

Housekeeping staff was notified that I would need a late check out and was very uncompliant to my wishes. Made me feel like I was a nuisance and so when I left and waited outside for the remainder of time before I could leave the facility, they told me I couldn't sit there and had to find somewhere else to go

The room was not clean found what looked like bugs under the mattress. The staff were extremely rude and aggressive. Everything.

The staff at the front counter were extremely courteous and helpful. They were willing to assist as best as they can with our request and that made our stay very satisfying. The room was clean, parking was not an issue. My only hiccup was the hot water in the shower. It ran out mid way while I was taking a shower. I did not say anything to the staff because they were so good throughout my stay, I didn’t want them to feel that it was something they did. On another positive note, I had forgotten my sunglasses in the lobby lounging area, the following day when I realized it was missing, I went to the front desk and there it was waiting for me. I will definitely book a stay at this location if I were to visit Buffalo again.

Upon arrival after a long day of driving, exhausted and just want to sleep. I was sent to down the road to the ATM for a cash deposit on a room that was over $300. That I didn’t know I needed. I get back, I received my key and there was a very vague direction given, told I was on pool side and I was sent on my way, this place is multidirectional and there were elevators but I couldn’t find them…..Even with signs….I found my room finally to be greeted with a broken door. The weather strip was coming from the door. My batteries were low to the key card magnet. I woke up in the morning and went down to have breakfast and ask for a couple amenities, there wasn’t anyone at the desk, it was early so I gave it come consideration, went back to my room. When I came back down to leave, I was going to grab the amenities. Still no one. I didn’t have time to wait so when I returned later on the evening, I was about to get in the shower and noticed the bathroom door was missing a screw. There wasn’t anyone urine on the base of the toilet. There is a clear dust line under the bedside stands. Then I stayed there for 3 nights. I didn’t want house keeping on the second day so I denied it. I smoke cigarettes. Bad habit yes, but the day I left the housekeeping staff accused me of smoking in my room and was going to withhold my deposit as the housekeeper blatantly lied and said there were ashes on the toilet seat and the room smelled like smoke. 1. I used to be an inspector for a hotel per an IHG standard. 2. In the three nights that I stayed there I was never given a smoke warning. It wasn’t needed because I wasn’t smoking. 3. This is rude and very unwelcoming, I don’t know if I would recommend this place to anyone. There was literally never any staff in sight. The whole building has an off smell to it. Breakfast was of an IHG standard and bland.

Staff was limited. Only one person staffing front desk and assisting guests causing significant delays. Also, door to room needed repair to address large gap between the door and door jam. Windy cold air streaming into the room required turning up the heat.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Nice having refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, meeting room with printer and computers very helpful. Met my basic needs. Jackie was the receptionist that checked me in. She was very pleasant. The gentlemen that checked me out was too quiet/boring. Didn't say much, made me kind of uncomfortable. Pool was not open yet (March 24 was cold) but looks like it needs to be cleaned b4 opening.

Staff were very friendly and inviting. Room was tidy upon arrival and everything about the stay was almost seamless. The room I had was only for one person so it’s not a huge deal, but I believe it was room 154 that the bathroom door does not fully shut. I also didn’t have a bath towel which I could have asked for so that’s half on me and not a huge deal.

I think we were upgraded but the room was not double checked - one shower was clean and the other one was not cleaned at all there was hair all over the shower floor and near the toilet as well. The room was very cold and the heating barely worked but thankful for the small heater.

We had a window that went into the hallway. Super weird. So no light in room. Sheets were clean but had stains. Just old and run down.

Rooms are pretty modern and very clean! All the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful! Breakfast was was AMAZING ? No indoor Pool hot tub out of service

The rooms and hall ways were freezing cold, when we got to our room, there was a space heater , not sure why no heat . Breakfast was your typical continental breakfast . Roos clean but dated . And no extra towels or blankets .

The staff were very respectful and the room was very clean. The room was a good size and the bed was nice big and spacious. The shower had nice hot water to bathe in. I had no problem with the tv and it had great service.

The room was clean and as expected for a cheaper hotel. Nothing fancy but did the trick for a quick night away. The breakfast was really good in the morning as well. I enjoyed the eggs and sausage. The only thing was there weren't enough towels for the shower and no extra blankets in the room. I'm sure if we called to the front we could've asked for more but we were up early and out by 715am so we just used the smaller towels and left.

Management was very nice. My BF and I were traveling through and booked this on our way home. Check-In was easy and it was affordable.

The overall condition of this hotel was unkept and felt unclean. Limited towels available. Breakfast was poor. Would not stay here again. I expected better froma hotel using the Best Western name.Seems like no one is checking up on these hotels to make sure they meet standards.Very expensive stay for this level of hotel.

The staff was very helpful and courteous and kind. However, the facilities were a little old and rundown. Both sink faucets were loose in the countertop, one of the toilet toilepaper.

The room was cold upon arrival and it took about 2-3 hours to get it warm. Heating system seem outdated or in need of repairs. A space heater was left in the room so i used it to my advantage. Housekeeping never cleaned our room upon request. They lied to the front desk and said that we had a do not disturb on our door while we were out. There were leaks in the hallway from the rain and snow. Not appealing to share buckets in the hallway,

Morning of day 2 our door to hallway would not open. We tried for over an hour but dead bolt was jammed. Front desk clerk came and also could not open. Finally had to pry open door breaking deadbolt. Door was no unlocked rest of stay. My travelling companion had a panic attack as there was no way out of room. This was a major safety concern. Then door not being able to lock was another safety concern. Front desk did minimal to compensate for this huge issue. Only offered 15% off one night. Was then told I would be called with nights being compted for stay. No call yet and have been charged for entire stay. Will be contacting Best Western directly about this incredibly dangerous situation.

Hotel was old and falling apart. There were holes in the bathroom in our room and the lobby bathroom. The outlet was cut in half and looked dangerous. There was mold in the faucet where the water comes out. Felt gross being there. Definitely not worth $250 a night.

Super friendly staff, clean, but the room was pretty small. Loved the location.

Front desk was great and super helpful. Tv in my room didn’t work so they moved me to another with no hassle. Only downfall was the hallways were freezing but that was a minor inconvenience.

Check-in was great. This place is clean. That is awesome. Food is delicious. I would recommend it if anyone’s passing through or staying in Buffalo New York.

Everything was wonderful starting from the staff at the front desk to the maintenance lady. They were very courteous and made me feel very comfortable. I’m definitely coming back here when I come back to visit again.

Room was small, dated and dark. Beds were as advertised but seemed small. No window except to a hall outside. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the hall because of the window. Would not stay here again.

Find some cockroachs in my room

I drove 5 hours to be told I did not have a reservation. When I have printed out my confirmation. Manager/owner I believe Mr Patel (exceptionally nice) called Expedia to be told I do have a reservation for 2 nights. 20+ minutes to check in. No fan in the bathroom, in room 156 ceiling paint in bathroom is peeling, mattress on bed right side is well used left side is better. Pressure in shower is the best I have ever had and breakfast was great.

The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was spacious. Th e only thing I didn't like was when I wanted it warmer in the room, when the temp goes above 65 degrees, the fan is very loud.

This place is located in an older area which I was okay with, it was only 1 mile from the people I was visiting. The restaurant located next to the hotel has closed down. The hotel is clean and in good shape. I arrived 1.5 hours before the 3:00 PM check-in time, my room was ready and they allowed me to check in early. I was happy about them allow me to check in early since I just drove 6 hours.

Extremely dirty rooms

Overall property was very rundown and unclean. My room was not fit for anyone to stay in. AC broken, tv broken, no refrigerator, light went out in bathroom. Employees tried to make every excuse they could as to why these things happened. They only offered $50 off my entire stay, which was over $560 total..changed me to another room, which then had an active leak from the ceiling above the toilet. Employee tried to make excuses about that too. I’ve have taken photos and video and will be reaching out to higher ups. I’m usually not one to complain, but to make excuses like it was everyone else’s fault and I was exaggerating until I showed photos and video, is completely unacceptable. Even crazier is that they immediately put someone else in that room after I moved to the room next door. If hotels in the area weren’t sold out, I would have left completely. I spent a lot of money on this trip coming from California and this was just not ok. I love the Best Western and have never had issues before, so this was a first. Definitely would not recommend this location to anyone.

Location was good. Stayed 2 nights never cleaned the room, or fresh towels. Not sure if that is there policy, but would have been nice to know when checking in. Great coffee 24 hours. Big plus lol

Rooms seemed a little run down and they had a funny odor.

The room was dirty with a leaky faucet and a bug in the sink. The AC did not work and was extremely loud waking us up. The room was far more expensive than it was worth and the quality was shockingly low for the room rate.

Refrigerator was missing from the room, the TV was completely unusable and only showed vertical lines, thermostat could not be adjusted in the room.

The bedding was stained, there was a candy wrapper on the bathroom vanity and the AC didn't work at all. Finally at midnight I went down and asked for a room with working AC, was told there was only a king bed room (we had four adults with us), after insisting for 10 minutes that I needed to be moved, he finally had another room magically available. Hotel is gross, and run down, and the customer service leaves much to be desired.

The hotel had spotless rooms, and the service was amazing. We left four pairs of shoes at the hotel. We contacted them, and they were able to locate our missing shoes and ship them to our home.

Room 260 has no towels whatsoever and when we did get towels from the front desk we put them in the bathroom shelf and it fell out of the wall almost fell on my daughter. The whole room had a musty - not clean smell

Outdoor pool was great, but the carpet wasn’t clean and in the area under the fridge, the carpet was wet. I would have preferred adult-sized pillows as opposed to the throw pillows that were on the bed.

Disappointed at how rundown and out dated this location has become. Thankfully it was just a place to sleep and shower. Washer isn’t functional so don’t expect to do that while there.

I really liked the open spaces inside the hotel itself. There were areas that were open to the sky within the hotel. The pool was also nice for me and my kids to come back from Darien Lake and swim until 9pm before going to sleep. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and very nice and the breakfast was good each morning.

Fortunately, a helpful and professional Indian staff member arrived and promptly moved us to a different room that was in excellent condition. His assistance was greatly appreciated, especially compared to the reception staff, whose lack of professionalism and customer service skills was evident. Although the property is somewhat old, it is maintained in an acceptable condition.

Toilet ran and self-flushed for three nights. I notified them twice the first day after it started but whatever they did did not fix the problem. Then they were very attentive to the issue. Now It only re-flushed/refilled every hour instead of 10 minutes. The bed in #138 has a massive depression on the right side and needs to be replaced. Showers are powerful. At checkin the front desk lady said I was rude when I asked her twice if the rooms smelled like smoke. Hey, I want to know! Rooms smelt a bit of smoke. I wasn't going to deal with her again so I put up with it. Price was good. Would I stay there again? Only if I was broke.

I liked the gym(24hr) and the pool. Place was nice but I didn't care for the surrounding location. Good for the value..I wud stay again.

Dated small room. Doors don’t close without using some force, so loud banging through the nite. Breakfast was the usual fare although not done very well. Area around the motel was pretty depressed.

we had two rooms, The bathroom electrical in both were substandard. No light cover or working Light over the bathroom sink, The second bedroom had a ceiling light falling our of the shower area, making it unusable. both rooms were TIGHT on space. If we had the time to babysit getting it taking care of we would have made a request at the time, But our time table was spoken for. We booked Best Western as we have been pleased in the past, doubtful I will try again. And we advised friends staying in that area to stay away.

The property is older so dont expect a more modern hotel, but it was quiet and served its purpose and breakfast is standard. Check in was smooth and the front desk lady was very nice. The only thing was no microwave in the room even though it was advertised as such, although im sure if i said something they would have fixed the issue.

Breakfast was also basic and uninspired, coffee was not Starbucks and the gym was poor. Very few weights and broken equipment. Also, pool opened too late for an early summer swim.

Only downfall is the club next door. Could feel the vibration of the base saturday night. but thats barely noticeable.

Good budget stay. Property is somewhat dated. Stay was in January and had a hard time getting rooms to warm up.

Everything was fine and appropriate for the price paid except the advertised pull out sofa was not up to standard. When I pulled it out there were no sheets provided for it and no extra pillows in the closet. Called down to the front desk and no one answered so I just slept on a bare sofa bed with no bed sheets and no blanket or pillows. The sofa bed was very springy and leaned to the left more than slightly.

Rooms were slightly dirty and old. Pictures on the website depict a cleaner nicer room than what they are. Now know why the room was so cheap!

During check in my father landed into Buffalo before I did, I gave him my confirmation number and told him to check in so he can get settled. The front desk clerk on Friday 1/10/25 told my father there was an early check in fee of $25 cash only to avoid tax. My father paid the $25 and witnessed the money get pocketed. The room- Very uncomfortable beds where I can feel the base board under the mattress. The hotel staff allowed children to run up and down the halls screaming stomping and banging on doors. This lasted from about 8pm-2am. The doors are so thin you can hear every person walk by and their voice as clear as if they were in the room with you. Last but not least, I woke up with bites all over from head to toe, literally, bites on my neck hands back stomach legs arms and toes. We found bed bugs in our bed the last night of our stay possibly from when they switched our sheets. Worst experience ever.

The temperature in the corridor were very low when we returned around 11.30pm and when we woke up at 7am. It was not confortable at all to walk around, we needed a jacket...

There was a football game the day we checked in so they were pretty busy. Check in only took a few minutes. Rooms were easy to find. I felt that everyrhing was pretty clean. We had fresh towels delivered a little after checking in, i think they just got a little behind, but we didn't mind. Everyone working seemed polite and helpful. Breakfast was decent. It was a quiet stay and slept pretty good. We will consider staying here again on our next trip.

It was absolutely gross…. The hotel didn’t seem to have any heat- walking to our room was beyond cold- get to the room and there is a space heater going! Couldn’t sleep bc I was scared it was gonna start a fire. Very outdated- and the parking lot didn’t even seem to be plowed out of the snow that fell in the night…

Guy working the front desk was excellent. Hotel room was quiet which was nice. The only complaint I would have is the room smelled a bit musty. Needs some freshening up. Breakfast was great.

When we walked in, the thermostat was set on 89 degrees and the room would not cool down. When we tried the ac, it never kicked on. We tried to call the front desk with our room phone, and it was buzzing the whole time and wouldn’t ring so we had to walk down to let them know about it. They were completely full and could not switch us rooms which we understood. But we had to leave our room door open for 2 hours just to get air and cool it down from 89. Microwave clock/ timer was broken as well.

Stayed for a Buffalo Bills game. #gobills Room was clean, staff helpful, friendly. Approximately $30 Uber to Stadium. 4 minute wait. Worked perfectly for what we needed it for. Will stay again. Thank you!

Well maintained,clean, good part of town

I have travelled a lot and have never felt unsafe. It was unsafe and dirty with peeling paint from the ceiling in the washroom the doors from the parking lots did not lock. I had to scramble to find another place to stay. I await a full refund and refused to stay there under these conditions.

The bathroom door looked like it had blood splatter on it same with the lamp. Beds were small, but clean, so that was nice

It would have been nice if the EV chargers were functional.

Things are very worn and not updated. For example the lobby had Christmas decorations up. It is October. On the mantle in the lobby there were 2 candle holdrs and 1 candle. The carpets were worn or unclean.
