    Nothing. It was dirty. There wasn’t any parking. It was located next to a homeless camp. We found mouse poop, dead bugs, and it looked like blood on our box springs.

    Nothing I didn’t like quite a few things. Let’s start off with the fact that our sheets were dirty upon our arrival. The owner (I’m assuming) came up to change the bedding himself and apologized for the inconvenience. Cool. We try to run a bath for our children, the bath tub doesn’t even stop up. The stopper is broken. It also doesn’t fully drain to the tub not being installed with a slight incline. We had to use grocery bags to stop up the tub. There was also some mold on the ceiling that was painted over. We wake up excited to try the breakfast. I don’t even think you could consider this breakfast. There’s only one pan of eggs. No type of meat or other source of protein. Lukewarm yogurt. Stale bread and muffins. Cereal and the milk is stored in one big jug alongside the yogurt in the lukewarm fridge. No cartons. No expiration dates. No time of preparation. There’s a waffle maker and most of the waffle batter is empty. You have to tip the machine forward to squeeze barely enough to fill up the waffle iron. We ended up having to somewhere for breakfast. Multiple guests complained to the front desk about the lack of food and were all encouraged to complain to the owner who was nowhere in sight. Our second night at the hotel was somehow worse than the first. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom stops working. It was entirely too warm for two toddlers to sleep comfortably so they did not get adequate rest. The lights were blinking all night long and we also discovered that a door in our hotel room leads directly to the hotel room beside ours. The guests in the next room must have made the same discovery as we got a few knocks from their side. I will attach some photos. This review is not being written with ill-intent, but to warn others traveling and looking for a nice spot to settle down during your stay in VA. The amount of corners that are being cut at this hotel is astounding for what you are paying. I have more photos but it will only let me put four.

    There is nothing to like about this comfort inn. It was extremely dirty and disgusting. Worst hotel in my life to be honest and the location was even worse. The whole place is just nasty. From the parking lot, there were people just burning stuff on the ground and the environment was dirty. Inside was worse, smells horrible, extremely dirty carpets and chairs. Rooms have a funky smell. Has made me reconsider ever booking at comfort inn ever again Hated every minute I was there. Could not even bring myself to eat breakfast there.

    For being posted as a 100% smoke free environment, the elevator smelled of smoke, and when getting off the elevator on the 2nd floor you got accosted by the smell of pot. Long term stay tenants sat right outside the rear door smoking so you couldn't get away from it. The cleaning crew tried to adjust by using too much cleaner making the floors sticky

    Bath towel request took all day. From 9:00 a.m. 4:45 p.m. The staff was not friendly walking up and down the hall late at night shouting on the telephone while exercising. Breakfast was lacking. Food pans were empty and cleaned where there never was any breakfast meats or potatoes. Just watered down eggs. Did not use Wi-Fi. Mattress was lumpy and bumpy. When you sat on it you bounced up and down. Metal bed frame sticking out from under the bottom of the mattress. I would never stay there again or suggest anybody else stays there. This hotel representation is a poor example of advertising for your business. We requested another hotel but after the payment was received our location was changed to this one and no money could or would be returned. Photo to follow.

    Very dirty, manager was rude and unprofessional, room was dirty, very unorganized. Refrigerator stink, floor was not vacuumed. They cleaned out room for us and never changed the sheet or wiped down anything. Had to ask for towels and they were damp. Horrible experience, will never recommend no one to go out there.

    DO Not stay here!! I should have listened to my gut and heeded the red flags everywhere. The carpet's are worn and filthy. There are no working amenities. There were things left in the room from a previous guest. There was rust and exposed wires in the fridge. We left after one night and couldn't get a refund 😡

    Room wasn’t very clean. No tub stopper- for bathing my child. Exterior was filthy and littered with trash. There was a single story building on the side with people sitting outside being very loud smoking and drinking with large aggressive dogs. Wouldn’t not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Terrible the bed sheets were very wrinkled, the pillows look like they took 3 queen pillows cut them in half to make 6 small pillows. The chair and ottoman was so dirty have to use bath towel and 2 hand towels for the arm. Breakfast was sad sad. I could leave quick enough. I wouldn’t recommend this dump to anyone.

    Upon check in we went to the room to check it before bringing the whole family in. We saw a live bedbug which lead to checking things over. We then found a dead bedbug and lots of stains on the mattress. The room was gross, stuff on the walls, floor, lamp, table, etc. We immediately confronted staff about the issues as we were not going to stay in those conditions. They refused to offer solutions and refused our refund. We had to cancel plans because of this and drive home. We are so upset with this situation and our kids are devastated that our trip was cut short.

    The first night was good. The coffee & breakfast was good. The coffee great. The next night however was a night in hell. The people next to us was screaming and yelling and kids running in the hall was after 10pm. The phone in the room wasn't working for us to call and tell someone, so we had to go down stairs and let them know. It stopped for a while then started again about 11:30. and nothing was done. We left at 6am.

There was mold in the coffee pot reservoir as well. The couch was stained as well as the carpet. The hotel is not being kept up with maintenance.

    This hotel was nothing like expected from photos online! The area was extremely dilapidated, the hotel outside looked unkept and falling apart. Upon getting our children out of the vehicle, my husband and I witnessed, what we can only assume was a drug deal. Then said persons appeared to be “casing” our vehicle, while my husband was in it! After moving our vehicle the same person with some friends appeared to be “casing” our vehicle again. We felt completely unsafe and needed to get our babies out of there immediately! The manager refused to provide a refund for our room because we had “checked in,” even though we were only there for all of 10 minutes. I’m not typically one to be overly dramatic but this situation was terrible!

    Room: Bathtub Caulk had black mold. The drain for the tub/shower was not working properly. Curtains had visible dark yellow stains, questionable stains on the sofa chair and the worse was the really strong marijuana smell in the room, especially as you walked in. Property: The gym is really unusable. There is a really really strong moldy smell. The pool, I don't think I would jump in that water.... If they put more effort in the property, has lots of potential.

    This looked like it used to be a decent hotel but it is falling into disrepair. The breakfast ran out of most of the food 15 minutes before the end of breakfast and they wouldn’t restock anything. There were bugs in the fold out couch, which was extremely uncomfortable. We also had to pay an extra $50 deposit with a service fee. I would not recommend staying here.

    Once inside, the room was fine. Beds were fairly comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. Other than a faulty shower curtain, everything worked fine. Breakfast was average for this kind of hotel - carbs and sugar (make your own waffles or grab a muffin) with some instant eggs and a basket of mealy apples. Workable for a 12-hour stay but we were glad to get on our way.

    I brought with me to get the smell out. There was mold in the bathtub, and there were holes in the carpet. Lastly, the elevator was out of inspection for a month, and a posted sign from the city indicated this. The day I left, the elevator company came to repair it.

    Absolutely disgusting. The entire hotel is filthy and poorly maintained. In the common areas, thick layers of dust on the coffee and juice machines. Flies were IN the bread box. None of the water features in the lobby were functional. Elevator did not have a passing inspection notice posted. Light fixtures falling of the wall in the pool area. Pool was cloudy - water chemical balance was questionable. Carpet was soiled all throughout the hotel. In my room, mold/mildew was all over the calking. Hair dryer was broken. Refrigerator is wired to an on/off switch in the wall (presumably to save electricity cost). This resulted in a horrible smelling refrigerator which is practically ruined. All signs point to management which is cutting corners and not properly cleaning or maintaining the property. This has been my experience at most Comfort Inn locations - I will actively avoid them in the future.

    Rusty lamps, Taped together shower rod, worn icky chair , broken iron, and loud. Place was a motel that gave motels a bad rep, not a hotel for your family. I’ve stayed in motel 6’s and red roof inn’s and had much better accommodations. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I care about.

    We were unaware till we showed up to pay that we had to put a deposit down on top of wht we were already paying. And the guy at the desk double charged us for our deposit. Then told us he would refund it and we woul get it back within the half hour. After talking to our bank we find out it will be back in 6 days. He then conti to ask us for money every time we saw him.

    The man at the front was very friendly, but the room was not appealing, and we ultimately asked for a refund and left. The lampshade was broken, as was the toilet paper roll holder. The hotel smelled like pot. The pillows are tiny and the bed looked dirty. There was what appeared to be a bar nearby and the clientale you'd expect from it. Not the best part of town.

    The sheets were clean. So was the bathroom EXCEPT there was a weird smell as in a strong pungent odor in the bathroom, BUT WAS TOLERABLE. Heating was great. I was able to get the rest I needed for traveling in the past 24hrs (flying & driving). I didn't feel unsafe in my stay. I had my 2 little kids with me. Not that boujie but was above an OKAY stay & CLEAN.

    Perfect time of the year - no big events, so not a lot of traffic in this area and not a lot of other people here. So it's very quiet and great parking. Staff always friendly and helpful.

    The floors - hall and elevator especially were filthy. There's an extra $5 'resort fee'! For hot water and coffee available 24/7!!! Plus a $50 'deposit', neither of which were mentioned in the reservation. The TV remote only worked for certain things, sometimes. And the refrigerator was very noisy. Otherwise it was okay. And when I needed to stay an extra day due to the hurricane further south, the manager was able to accomodate me.

    I was very unsatisfied with all the partying that was going on through out the night. I was very disgusted by the way the employees juts threw the garbage by the dumpster instead of in it. I was very dissatisfied with the way the grounds looked. I wasn’t pleased with the pool are that much as there was garbage if some kind in there filters by the pool. Pool wasn’t cleaned the way it should be. The room was good besides the jacuzzi tub having a broken jet that I reported to the front desk and maintenance never came to fix during my stay. The area is not somewhere I would stay again.

    I was charged for cancellation and I was forced to spend a night which I didn’t not even spend a night at the hotel I was charged he didn’t even listen to me or my wife so disappointed I need my refund for the night I did not sleep there .

    Needs some updates for sure. We have stayed at this hotel twice and I don’t think I have EVER seen anyone that works there smile. It kinda makes you feel like you’re a bother to them. I don’t think we will stay there next year. I definitely want to feel comfortable but you won’t if you stay there.

    they are very accommodating. We came in from Pennsylvania and they upgraded up to early check in for free. They were so nice about it. The hotel was very clean, the complimentary breakfast was good.

    I like the room and the location, The owner and staff was not very nice, but the property look like homeless people was living on the property as well. I don’t have anything against them, but that’s just the way it looked. The owner has bungalows on the property for homeless people to live in as well. you go check it out. Plus, the price was not good. Two ladies came there in the middle of the night around 1 o’clock in the morning. They wanted to get a room they want to charge them $200 a night that was not fair. The ladies just asked them can they see one of the rooms they said no the ladies asked them do they have roaches they say sometimes our guess complain about it and we get the exterminator not right at all. how do I know this because my husband was in the lobby around that time of night walking the dog. online it says pet friendly but the next day after we were there, the owner said that there is no dogs allowed on the property so we left early. We did not stay. We stayed there for about a day and a half and we packed up our stuff and left. and just like I told the staff when I go into a hotel room, I record and take pictures when I go in and I record and take pictures when I check out.I do not want no extra charge for nothing I did not do.

    The pictures advertised did not reflect this property. The pool was merky and not treated. Our rooms had roaches and the sleeper sofa were blood stained. When I reported the roaches I was offered to check out.

    The backdoor of the hotel was left wide open, and there was feral cats wondering around in the parling lot. The lobby was filthy. I canceled my reservation and left.

    I have never been to any disgusting place like this. It was so dirty. couch sofa chair looks likes never changed from ages. bed was ripped and stains. bathroom door handle was upside down. fridge grills was rusted and paint was off. breakfast was not good at all.

    Their rooms and lobby were clean and the breakfast was good, I'll give them that. But there was mold growing on the tables in the pool area, the halls were usually absolutely filthy and smelling of garbage/feces, and the workout room literally smelled like a basement. Couldn't breathe in there, much less work out. Also the vending machines and ice machines did not work. When I addressed this with a staff upon checking out (whom was very polite, that much I can also say), I was told there are "renovations" planned for the fall. Needless to say, I won't be back to find out. Save your money and get a budget room somewhere, because we may as well have.

    A lot of damaged items in the king suite, breakfast very mediocre no staff on hand to clean or refill items such as cereal muffins, bread, or empty trash my biggest complaint was my kid were cold because the front desk man that requested cash from me for an alledged early in fee that had to be in cash only and does not show on checkout receipt, nor does the room damage deposit fee show on check out receipt so if i dont get credited that by end of week ill be visiting my attorney and the news, anywho he told my son that they dont have anymore blankets when everyone knows if room comes with a pullout couch there should be a bag in closet with sheets pillow and a blanket smh!!! Either way paid a lot for three nights and no working ice machines, low water pressure in toilet and shower and a fridge that took whole day to cool… i will continue to stay at hilton brands everytime i try another chain i am immediately disappointed

    When my wife and i pulled into the property we were not impressed. It was fine up front, but in the back and to the sides it was very trashy. It was as if the management gave up on looking at the lllace through a customer's eyes. Trash in parking lot, pool area had cups with drinks in them left in them over night, trash on the container that held the fire extinguisher and other little things that could be cleaned up if they just "saw" them. Everyone was friendly and helpful though. I could go on and on being observant as to what was wrong, but that is because when you pay 245$ for 2 night's stay you want it to be nice. The room was clean and ac worked great. My wife loved the walk in shower. It wasn't horrible but it felt like they just gave up on trying.

    We had 6 people and they didn’t have sheets or pillows for the roll out couch and then they gave us a blanket that felt more like a curtain it was so rough. My husband asked for pillows and they said we don’t have any you have to take them off the beds and use them but we had people in both beds so that wasn’t fair.

    The breakfast was good. I did not like the first room that they put me in because it was dirty, shower dripping, and it had a musty smell. I called the front desk to get towels and was told to go find housekeeping because she was not coming to my room for a while to bring me any. My $50 deposit was not returned, and I was told that I only had to pay $10 when I arrived at the hotel, but I was told that I had to give them a $25 service fee. I checked out a day early, but I did not receive my money back ($95 plus taxes). Staff was not friendly at all will not stay at this hotel again.
