I would absolutely stay here again! Beautiful well thought out property, within walking distance of everything.

The staff was wonderful, the service was amazing, and the bedroom was lovely.

Very bad experience, nothing to be liked about this place. They gave me a broken bed in the first room. I had to go get new keys room and move all the staff from one room to another with 2 pets and they have just one elevator and it’s very slow / uncomfortable/ unsafe. The se one room has a hole in the bathroom wall and my cat got in there and was very unsafe to take him out … room phone not working, no steamer air iron… terrible experience

Property was in center of town..view from room was amazing, other than having to look at the trump tower daily everything was perfect! Room was clean and nice sized for three of us. Plenty of room. We had two window seats which were amazing.

The hotel was clean and I appreciated their filtered sink water in the room and coffee, water and popcorn in the lobby. The fridge in the room got everything nice and cold-most hotel fridges aren't the greatest. AC and free clothes steamer in the room worked great. Loved how dark we could get the room with the curtains closed. Cleanliness and customer service was top notch. My only 2 complaints were the overpriced (but they were delicious) snacks I purchased from the lobby, however, that is expected. I should have grabbed free popcorn earlier before they put it away for the night. They also only had 1 elevator working, which was a little inconvenient, but not even that bad. That should be fixed once the reno is done. I had a great stay here and recommended it to others. I always felt safe, even with it being in a busy area. I didn't try the restaurant, but it looked great!

L7 is INCREDIBLY CLEAN. Their bedding is simple cotton white sheets and nothing else. That’s bold and speaks to their confidence. The linen is so comfy and I had one of the best sleeps of my night. Apart from that, the face mask was a wonderful touch along with the high quality soap/shampoo/lotion. It was also really nice to have a free coffee machine and Perilla restaurant attached. I’d 10/10 recommend. Amazing hotel!

Wonderful hotel with modern rooms. Bathrooms have plenty of counter space, which we use to gauge good hotel room design. Conveniently located within walking distance of lots of office spaces and attractions.

Clean room, great river views.

The view of the hotel was different from what was on the website. There was no toothbrush or toothpaste. We called several times and then went to the lobby to ask. The view of the room was facing the wall. One day there was only coffee in the room, the rest of the days there was none. I did not like this hotel at all and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful views staff was great

The hotel is very good in general (clean, friendly and professional staff, quiet etc.). However, the location is unbeatable. Literary, it is a couple mins from river, right on the edge of loop and north downtown area, about 10-15 min walking distance from museums, 30 min walking distance from Navy Pier, and very close to many many restaurants. Our room was also pretty quiet, so there is no problem of sleeping at night. I strongly recommended just because of the location, but the rest of qualities are also very very good. Strongly recommended!

The room is spacious, and the bathroom is big too! Love the food from the restaurant in the lobby! The lobby is cozy, love it. Also, didn't expect this; the bellboy even helped us carry our luggage and open the Uber doors for us, making us feel like special guests. The most important thing was the location, location, location! Walkable to most of the tourist spots, very convenient! The elevator only has 2, and only 1 was working, so it always took a long time to wait for the elevator. There is a free coffee machine in the lobby, but it was broken half the time we stayed at the hotel; it was still not available until we left. Everything else was perfect, but I only hope they can fix the broken things promptly!

Clean, quiet hotel and great location. Each room has a yoga mat & free weights, and there was a complementary sheet mask in my bathroom! I'll definitely be back.

they were going through some elevator issues but what stood out is how the bathroom fixtures and other items were tired and in need of upgrading. Rust on fixtures at the base, areas that need cleaning, not worth the price.

One of the things I appreciate most when traveling is staying in a place that prioritizes cleanliness and outstanding customer service, and this hotel certainly delivers on both. The attention to detail and the genuine care shown by the team made my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and would like to thank the entire team for their excellent service and hospitality.

The rooms are clean and well appointed. I really enjoyed the fresh Water tap with filtered water down at the lobby and the cappuccino machine. But what separate. This places is the staff top not all the way. Very professional and friendly would stay again.

Only one elevator working makes it a long journey to get in and out of ones room.

The good: The rooms have nice and tall ceilings and are clean with art deco style finishes. The Nespresso machine and air filter are a nice touch. Cleaning staff is top notch. The not as good: don’t bother with the gym. The elevator was under maintenance so if you see that, might as well get a low floor because you’ll be using the stairs. Leaves much to be desired in amenities. Overall there’s nothing wrong with the hotel on paper. I just don’t know if the L7 deserves such a high rating.

The hotel is in great location and is very well maintained. The only "issue" was that only one elevator was working due to an upgrade.

This property is centrally located right in the heart of everything. The Staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

This is a great place in the heart of Chicago. On the River, 1 block to Michigan Ave. Near everything and beautiful rooms. It’s one of my top go-to hotels in Chicago.

The view from my window was exactly as advertised! Honesty in advertising goes a long way in my book. Plenty of public parking garages within 900 feet of the building. Two coffee shops, a circle k, on the corner, and a Target & Walgreens within a couple blocks of walking.

One elevator was out- wish they would of told us but luckily was on 4th floor so taking stairs wasn't as bad as it could be. Great cleaning staff and front desk- very friendly. Great view of river and street from room. Easy to access public transport and walkable neighborhood as well. Other than the elevator thing was great stay.

Great hotel in a great location! The place is trendy without being annoying, I liked how new and comfortable it was without being a place that tried too hard to be over-the-top too cool. Everyone was very professional and got me checked in right away and my room was very comfortable and a welcome respite after a long day of travel. I only stayed one night and can't wait to come back and enjoy it again.

Location is fantastic. Complimentary coffee machine till 6pm is a nice touch. It’s not a proper hotel. No services in hotel. An overpriced restaurant next door for a very basic breakfast. Laundry goes to a third party shop. Booking.com says prices include all taxes and fees yet hotel charged me taxes at check out.

We were staying to celebrate our anniversary and I was confirmed over the message that they will give us a cup cake and a bottle of bubbles to celebrate. But I got only bottle of bubbles even after speaking to them in person. They agreed to send cup cake and a candle to our room but they didn’t. It wasn’t a pleasant stay after this incident.

One elevator didn’t work for the whole long weekend and we were on the 12 th floor. Had to wait a long time for the elevator and once we climbed by stairs all the way to the 12 th floor.

Antonio was kind and welcoming my entire stay. Honey was very nice on my check-in day and the rest of the staff was super nice. The room had a yoga mat and dumbbells, bath robes, and good amount of lights and outlets. Loved the design of the room like the bench dresser under the tv. I would stay again, my only complaint is the lobby was a little warm and the elevator took awhile with only two elevators and several floors. Parilla, the restaurant next door had good food and hotel guests get a 10% discount which was convenient the first night when I was exhausted and didn’t want to venture out for dinner.

My new favorite Chicago hotel! My room was beautiful, with a view of the river and Corn Cob buildings. I love the window seats- I could have watched the boats go by all night long. Amenities like a coffee maker with real coffee mugs and glass glasses in the bathroom, as well as a hydrating face mask, are really nice touches. Location is amazing as well, right on the border of the Loop and River North.

Hotel was wonderful and the location was amazing. Wish both elevators had been working because with one down the wait was too long with the amount of people at check in time.

Friendly and helpful staff, but the hotel needs a little tweaking. An elevator out of order, a broken coffee machine, and automatic washroom faucets and soap dispensers that don’t work. Central location though.

Great hotel, walking distance to many of Chicago’s attractions, shopping and eateries. Staff was friendly and breakfast at Perilla was outstanding. Will return to L7 on our next visit.

Andthe nightlife down below it was really quite nice. Probably the best location you minutes from fine dining minutes to the Riverwalk hundreds of restaurants within minutes you should enjoy it. be sure to ask for Alex is the manager.

Good location, accessible by public transit and close to downtown landmarks. Free espresso machine in the lobby was a nice touch perfect for an easier riser like us to grab a cup and stroll to millennium park before the crowds set in.

I would definitely stay here again. The parking was easy, which honestly I dread coming to a big city. The front desk staff were nice and genuine. The bar/restaurant is very good. The room was nice. The coffee and water bar on the main level is appreciated. My only complaint is that they have two small, slow elevators. At one point, after waiting on the 9th floor for 5 minutes, I just took the stairs.

Upon check-in, Alex was kind and helpful. He gave us some great tips about the hotel and some things to explore and where to eat. Alex was moved by our mother-daughter trip before my daughter travels to Spain to study. He even left us a sweet treat which was a perfect end to our evening. The room, the view, and the shower were absolutely perfect! We will be back to Chicago and because of Alex we will only be staying at L7 when we do. Thanks for your kind words, Alex.

The property has a very convenient location. The room is spacious. They offer free but good coffee and popcorn at the lobby every day. And the cold water from the tab is filtered. Definitely will come back.

Perfect hotel! Spacious clean rooms and lots of nice little extras - yoga mat and weights in the room, qtips and cotton balls, and a note mentioning the the cold tap water is filtered for drinking! Cold water available in the lobby and popcorn from 4-6. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Great location, great staff (Antonio was very nice), clean and homey. I also liked the bar/restaurant next door. They were also great hosts. Its centrally located so I got a real feel for the walkability of Chicago. Will definitely return. Hopefully with a better view of the river.

Room was clean and spacious. View was of a brick wall. Would have been nice to be facing something scenic, but nevertheless, was really only there to sleep. Comfortable bed. One out of two elevators was out of service, the working one was painfully slow. Breakfast in the joined restaurant was fantastic.

This hotel was perfect! They were doing some work on 1 of the elevators, but it wasn't too bad. They have complimentary popcorn, water, tea, and coffee. Rooms were beautiful. Service was great and fast! The location was PERFECT! Tens across the board!

We celebrated my husband's birthday and Laura (or Lauren) was amazing! Super pleasant check in experience, we got aa beautiful room with a magnificent vibes of the Chicago River. We had a dinner at the Korean restaurant on premises, absolutely delicious and interesting. Definitely would recommend this hotel as a romantic getaway, amazing location too.

I love everything about this hotel and I’m so excited to return each time. The little touches make such a big difference like the espresso machine and popcorn in the lobby, in room amenities and the personal service is bar none. Antonio the doorman is so kind and attentive. We always look forward to seeing him. I just love it here. Oh and the window seat views in the river view suite are incredible.

Great hotel on the river close to everything! We had a river view room. All the photos showed a larger window an our room had one about half that size. It was fine, but I would suggest to ask about the larger window seat if you are booking a room with a river view. Staff was excellent and helpful. The fresh espresso/cappuccino maker in the lobby was a very nice touch. Can’t wait to come back!

I loved the location! Right across the street from a bar/restaurant and 7 Eleven. I loved the filtered water and free coffee in the lobby. The little nook with the window view in the room was great. Very nice staff and a smaller hotel. Restaurant was good too. All around great place to stay!

Great location in the middle of everything! Staff was so nice and helpful. Rooms are very large and comfortable. Extremely cozy hotel which really felt great. We will be back the next time we are in Chicago.

I booked the hotel expecting a city view, but when I arrived, I was placed on the third floor, and the view was a dirty alley. People were shouting outside, and it was generally unpleasant. I only stayed one night, but I couldn’t sleep for more than three hours at a stretch. It seemed my room was next to some staff quarters or a utility area. Every 30 minutes, someone opened and slammed a door next to me, walking with keys and making noise. I paid extra thinking I’d have comfort, a nice view, and a good sleep, but none of that happened. The location is nice, and the staff was okay, plus the hotel was clean, but I will not come back, as it was not worth the cost.

Great stay at L7 Chicago by LOTTE! The location is excellent—super convenient for exploring the city. The hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. The only downside was that one of the elevators wasn’t working, so wait times could be quite long at times. Aside from that, everything else was great and I’d definitely consider staying here again.

Stayed in this hotel for a short trip to Chicago to go to the theater. This hotel was beautiful and within walking distance of most of the amenities in Chicago. The Riverwalk was right across the street and there were several wonderful restaurants, including the one in the hotel. The staff was kind and professional and the room was lovely. We plan stay in this hotel next time we visit Chicago.

Good intake and valet service. Food service was significanly delayed Wednesday morning. We were offered to find another local spot. We had already paid and we are unfamiliar with the area. Breakfast was great when finally availble.

Rooms were spacious and had great views. Very clean. Quiet other than the traffic. Great location. Gym was decent. Cute lobby with comfortable seating.

Everything at this place was perfect. From the modern relaxed decor to the spacious rooms to the excellent staff. Anaya and Laura were amazingly helpful. You can’t get a better location either. The Korean restaurant is also delicious. I highly recommend this place!

This was my second time staying here and I loved it! The hotel is walkable to just about everything, if you want to take the train it’s only a 8 min walk from the stop. The staff is so amazing, we landed early and they were able to hold our luggage as we went around and visited the city! We also had a late flight and the staff was more than happy to accommodate us by holding our luggage again! I will definitely stay here each time I visit Chicago! Thank you to Antonio for always greeting us with a smile and assisting with our bags. We truly loved walking out and having a small conversation with him!

The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. One of the highlights was the daily happy hour from 4–5 PM, great drinks and very personable bartenders made it a fun experience. I also appreciated the extra snacks and coffee available in the lobby. The coffee was especially impressive, honestly some of the best I’ve had at a hotel. It was strong, flavorful, and a nice perk that saved me from spending $10 on coffee every morning. Overall, a high-quality hotel with thoughtful amenities and an unbeatable location. I’d absolutely stay here again next time I’m in Chicago.

This is a GREAT hotel in the best location. Our room was comfortable with a nice view. I loved all the special touches like the yoga mat, band weights in the corner of the room — and the cappuccino machine machine downstairs and popcorn in the afternoon. I like the soap — shampoo — conditioner— lotion products they use — plant based from Brooklyn NY. The food downstairs was good. Staff is super nice and friendly. I appreciate that check out is at 11am versus 10. Highly recommend!

The staff knew it was my son’s 18th birthday and also that we were in town for a college visit, and they surprised us with the sweetest note with cupcakes and balloons in our room. Above and beyond! Walkable to Millenium Park and centrally located downtown. Would absolutely stay again!

I wish all rooms had irons and ironing boards and a microwave. The rooms have high ceilings. Bathrooms have nice mosaic tiles. The tubs are a bit slippery with no rails to hold onto getting in and out. Lovely circular lit mirror. Lastly, the soundproofing is great to get a good rest and is right in the middle to all attractions!

This property was ok. It was very basic, no pool, no spa. I selected this hotel because of the river view which was barely. One of the elevators was down my entire 5 day stay and they also charged me a $400.00 incidental fee upon check in. Location is great and you can walk to everything

This hotel was in a perfect location. It has all of the major attractions close by and it's across the street from the river. The restaurant is one of the best lobby restaurants in the city. The room was very clean, views of downtown from room were excellent. The entire vibe was positive and hip. Loved the property and recommend it highly.

The room is larger than you would expect for a downtown hotel and the staff is wonderfully friendly. They really make you feel special.

AMAZING hotel!! We had a 1 bedroom with city view. It was HUGE! All day free coffee machines and afternoon popcorn. Filtered water in the rooms for drinking. Antonio is a shining star there, so nice! Location is perfect and a quick walk to everything. We will definitely be staying there again!

It was an amazing stay

We had an exceptionally wonderful stay at L7. The location cannot be beat-- just steps from the river, Michigan Ave., the lake & Millennium Park, the hotel is situated right in the heart of downtown. We especially appreciated the all-day coffee, tea & water station, & in the afternoon popcorn (regular & spicy) is available. We had cappuccinos from the machine each morning & they were unexpectedly great. Our room was very spacious with 2 queen beds, high quality linens, & a full table & chairs/sitting area. The bathroom was luxe with wonderful products. There was a Nespresso machine in our room, too. My only recommendations are offering decaf coffee in the room & downstairs, & fixing the 2nd elevator! At times it could be quite a wait to get up to our room since 1 elevator was servicing the full hotel. Having said this, I would & will happily stay here again.

TERRIBLE! Gave me a dirty room with blood stains from previous guest — housekeeping manager admitted previous guest had feces and blood in their bed but refused to compensate me. They wouldn’t even change the sheets for us.. dropped new bedding off at the door with no comforter! We decided to leave the hotel early and they still charged us for a 2nd night + an early check out fee. 10/10 DO NOT recommend

Room is perfect. The view payoff everything. The hotel is very centrally located. The staff was great. The breakfast is outstanding but is not free, even when you paid for it. They give you a credit to be consume in the restaurant downstairs, which of course is not enough to cover all the breakfast plus the tip.

Family of 4 traveling with 9 year old twin boys. The property is located in a great area with lots of food options and quick access to public transportation. The lobby was very welcoming with lots of seating and complimentary water and coffee from 6 am to 6 pm. We tried to get into our room earlier than the 3 pm check in but the room was not ready. The front desk was able to label our luggage and put away so we could start exploring the city. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. My kids absolutely loved the window seats and traded each night to sleep in it. There were a couple of cons throughout our stay. There was only one working elevator. We consistently waited 10 minutes for each ride. By the time the elevator came, it would be completely packed with people that we would have to wait multiple times or have one of our group go separately. With 14 floors, we did not attempt the stairs, especially with luggage and young children. Over the two days we were there, no one was working on the elevator that was closed. Our room had double beds. When our group went to shower we noticed we were only provided two towels. We had to wait approximately 30 minutes for towels to be brought up to the room. The bathroom was dark due to a light being out. I could of called for maintenance but didn’t want to spend time waiting. Overall we enjoyed our room and the hotel’s aesthetic. I would be very hesitant to book again if there is only one working elevator.

We accidentally left our wallet in the safe in our room after checking out and at the airport started getting notification that our credit cards were being fraudulently used. When we called the hotel, they had the wallet in Lost and Found, but someone in the staff had decided to use every single card in it before turning it in. The hotel employs criminals

The room was cozy and I lived the decor. We had our own little espresso maker. Bathroom looked new and was shiny clean. The hotel is also near the train station. It was raining so we Ubered. Five minute ride. This will for sure be my go to anytime I'm visiting downtown Chicago.

It was a great room and a great location. The one issue is that getting checked in was less than smooth. Lots of folks waiting on already booked rooms. They took care of us after I pushed a little but originally they were saying our room wasn't going to be ready until after 5. That didn't work because we had to get ready for a birthday dinner. All in all, I would stay again and just plan on a longer check in time.

I am in Chicago every week for graduate school. L7 is my favorite hotel with great amenities such as a espresso bar and popcorn, 24 hour gym, and friendly staff. I ready enjoy the openness of the rooms and I utilize the tea Pot and gym mat. The rooms are quiet qnd spacious

From when we first stepped into the hotel to when we checked out we had a great experience. The staff was very polite and helpful, the room was spotless and our view was great! The lobby was really nice and comforting, and the complimentary coffee machine was amazing as well! The location of the hotel is right in the middle of everything in downtown Chicago. We were able to walk to almost all of the major sites/attractions and if we need to go somewhere else it was usually a short Uber ride away. We did have an issue with our sliding door from the shower would open but we let the front desk know and they sent someone to take care of it right away, keep in mind this was already around midnight! Definitely would recommend staying here and would stay here again when we come back and visit Chicago!

Loved the vibe of this place, I felt so at home here for my 3 night stay. Amazing staff, great gym, lovely touches in the room - the face mask and robes. Great breakfast too.

I would give 5 stars if the view was actually a view and staff were friendlier. We did get a city view, but it was of the side of a building, not a view at all. I did request a different room the first night, but was told by the front desk no one else ever has an issue with that room and it’s a good view. It’s not. I’m usually not one to say anything, but it was my birthday weekend and I let them know that months before when booking. I felt a little feeling gaslit and was told to check back in the morning for a different room. The hotel itself is very nice, loved the fireplace and espresso machine in the room/lobby, but customer service was a disappointment. Even just greeting us walking in the door seemed to be a struggle for the front desk. Customer service is so important in hospitality and I feel it was lacking here.

We had a lovely room on the top floor with a view of Marina City and the river, the hotel is walking distance to great restaurants and the Chicago Theatre, and we enjoyed everything about our stay. My favorite feature was the seating nook they have set up by the window,it really is charming. I do have to say that check in was very smooth, I initially paid for a river view but when I first checked in, I was put on the 4th floor without a river view. However, when I went back down to check in to see if anything can be done, they switched me to the 12th floor easily. I am not sure if it was a mistake, but jsut something to flag. I didn't visit the restaurant/bar but I heard great things about it from staff. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, but only if it is on one of the higher floors.

Excellent ambiance and functional, fun design. It was very obvious that whoever designed the hotel to tried to think of the consumer and how they interact with the space rather than what they wanted to do.

Lots of noise from street and hallway made it impossible to get any sleep. Staff was friendly but didn't really show great concern if stay was comfortable or not...no questions asked upon checkout, etc. Room had minimal amenities and "Krave Station" was nothing more than a coffee machine. There were no towels upon check in and breakfast had very slow service and mediocre food.

The hotel was great, we went to the restaurant only the first day and we had to wait about 30 mins to get a table and then after the waitress took the order we had to wait over 30 mins again just to find out that our order was lost and nobody prepared our meals, so the waitress apologized but we decided it was time to go, we went to a restaurant around the corner and it was fabulous and fast. Also the menu at the restaurant was very poor, very limited options for breakfast, I don’t recommend.

Staff were very helpful, friendly, and accommodated an early check in as we C were C stranded in Chicago due to a national no fly mandate over the Caribbean and we couldn’t reach our destination. They were very responsive to caring for our situation.

The day before, I messaged the hotel to see if there was an early check-in available. I was met with silence. Being a Gold Member, one of the perks is an upgraded room. They informed me that was not possible and shifted the blame to Expedia. Went upstairs and my key card didn't work. Went downstairs to get a new card and that one also didn't work. I asked the front desk for a plastic spoon or a fork... You guessed it... None where given. Asked for a late check-out; another perk of being a Gold Member. That was also denied. The ONLY upside was the bar at the restaurant. Service is NON-EXISTENT at this establishment!

Valet/concierge/bell staff Antonio, Tony and the rest of the staff were exceptional, very friendly and kind. They surprised us with in-room service delivery champagne for our 25th wedding anniversary, a milestone year, and also a decadent chocolate cupcake for my 49th birthday with a personal note for each occasion! Exceptional! The room was spacious, the window ledge were awesome feature, bathroom amenities were great, there’s even a yoga mat and weights in the room, and robes to use. We had a perfect view of the NYE fireworks from our window so we enjoyed it in our comfy pjs and not have to go out. We would definitely come back!

Loved our stay here. Everything was clean, our room was nice. We were able to check in early since a room was available and the lady at the front desk was kind. Actually all the staff that was there was so nice and friendly. We were always greeted every time we walked in and left, all with smiles. Really enjoyed their coffee bar area, it was so nice to come back after walking in the cold and warm up. We were near all the things we wanted to do, perfect location. We did try their restaurant as well and the food was delicious! Would definitely come back and stay here again!

The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the overall vibe of the hotel was modern and welcoming. A special shoutout to the doorman, Antonio, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made a great first impression. The only downside was the check in experience. Check in time is listed as 3:00 PM, and when we arrived at 3:15 PM, our room was not ready. It took about an hour and a half before we were finally able to get into our room. We had arrived in Chicago many hours earlier and were looking forward to taking a short break, so waiting in the lobby for that long was disappointing. We also noticed that the only guests waiting for rooms were those who booked through third party sites. Guests who booked directly were checked in immediately and given their room keys. Despite this, we would likely stay here again.

This felt like an elevated hotel without the elevated prices right in the heart of Chicago. We had a beautiful view of the river and were able to easily get around using uber. Will def stay again.

The bathroom did not drain the shower water for hours. Otherwise a good room. There aren’t any empty covers for dry cleaning and the such. The phones don’t work if the previous guest doesn’t place the receiver properly.

Nice large room and a great location next to the river. I'd stayed previously, but had not been back under the new ownership. It was a snowy day when I entered, the moment i checked in I was handed warm towels to dry off, I thought it was a very nice touch. I thought the rooms were very nicely done, there were large and full of light. If you walk a lot, it's a great location to get around to different places. However Ubers are just as easy. Lots of restaurants in the area. I prefer the previous lobby design, but I liked the current rooms redesign. Definitely would stay here again.

L7 is always excellent. I chose this hotel because I stayed at their location in Seoul last year and loved it. They provide high quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and even face masks to use. They also provided warm towels with lavender oil for guests coming in from the cold, which was a lifesaver. There were also space heaters in the room. The view from my room was incredible and the TV was simple to connect to my phone to watch my own streaming services. I will definitely come back here for future stays!

Is so spacious and they fill the room with so many considerate things like yoga mats, robes and umbrellas, they really care about the comfort and wellbeing of their guest! They even have someone carry your luggage to your room. I absolutely love this place and this will be the only hotel I use in Chicago!

Amazing central location to everything Chicago has to offer! Staff greeted us with nothing but smiles and went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed. The warm lavender towel was an amazing touch, along with the coffee/popcorn station! Everyone that worked here was more than helpful, and it seemed genuine! Checking in and out was a breeze. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and updated. Comfy beds, very hot water, and a thermostat that actually works. Definitely recommend staying here to anyone wanting to be in the heart of Chicago.

I have to give a huge shoutout to the bellman because he truly went above and beyond. Not only did he take time out of his day to bring my daughter a cupcake for her birthday, but he also remembered her and asked how her trip was every time he saw her. That small moment made her feel so seen and so special on her sixth birthday, and as a mom I’ll never forget that. If you’re thinking about booking here, do it. What we liked about this hotel: the shave/magnifying mirror in the bathroom, the filtered water from the cold water faucet, the window seat. What we didn't like about this hotel: the "Krave Station" is propped up as "thoughful snacks throughout the day", but that's not true. Popcorn was made available at 4 p.m. Besides coffee and tea, that's it. I didn't receive a warming towel upon arrival. I don't understand why our beds didn't have fitted sheets - just a flat sheet, a small comforter, and another sheet. The bed was supposed to be a queen but it wasn't. I'm 5'10" & my feet hing over the bed. Very uncomfortable.

We liked our room and would have given this a higher rating but unfortunately our last memory was the very unprofessional treatment we got from Ricardo in the bar. The manager comped a drink because he was so rude, but he was still rude.

Great vibe, smaller-scale, homey. Nice roomy room, with a window seat that's the size of a bed, my son actually slept there. I love the decoration/design. Great location, a lot is walking distance. It was a plus that check-in minimum age is 18, as my son was arriving first. All size dogs are welcome, another great plus, although we didn't travel with dogs. I would definitely recommend, and go again if I visit Chicago in the future. We were there during Thanksgiving break, it was freezing cold, so next visit would definitely be in spring or summer!

Very clean, beautiful rooms. Walls are paper thin, we could hear kids screaming and jumping above us, kept us awake. Spotless room, really comfortable bed. Guests were leaving garbage in the hall right by the elevators which was kind of gross. Staff were very nice, but on check in they told us breakfast pastries would be available at 6 and we had an early flight, found out the next morning it wasn't available until 7.

Loved the room. Huge comfy window seat that overlooked the river. Great place to hang out and relax after a day spent walking around. Location was ideal. East to cover the south loop and to head north to the Mag Mile. We took the train in and had a short walk to the hotel.

The staff was welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. We had the corner river view 1 bedroom suite, and I cannot recommend it enough! The views were emaculate, better than we expected! The espresso machine in the lobby was a nice touch! 10/10 recommend.

From the moment we arrived at the valet parking area our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Our valet, an incredibly kind and helpful individual promptly brought out a luggage cart and assisted us in unloading our car. He then invited us into the hotel and guided us to the front desk, where the checkout process was incredibly easy and quick. After check-in, he escorted us up to our room. While in the elevator, he provided us with information about various amenities available at the hotel, including a complimentary popcorn and cappuccino machine. He also mentioned different restaurants and activities nearby. Upon entering our room, he gave us a thorough tour, highlighting its spaciousness, comfort, and breathtaking view. After unpacking and relaxing, we ventured down to the first floor, where we indulged in the delicious seasoned popcorn and cappuccino. We settled into the inviting lobby, complete with a charming fireplace. Later in the evening, we experienced a delightful dining experience at the Korean steakhouse located within the hotel. It was our first time visiting a Korean steakhouse, and the experience was truly remarkable. The entire waitstaff was friendly and helpful, explaining the menu items and offering valuable suggestions. Exhausted from our long drive we decided to retire for the night. The room was equipped with a comfortable couch and bed, and an amazing spa-style shower. The highlight was the window seating area with breathtaking views of Chicago

Really enjoyed our experience at L 7 LOTTE…we’ve stayed at close to 20 different hotels in downtown Chicago over the years. And, this has been one of our top experiences. Location, amenities, cleanliness, rooms and staff were all Excellent. Thanks to Alex and Honey in particular for helping make our stay to notch!

The size of the room was bigger than I expected. We did not upgrade our room or anything, but it was bigger than the standard hotel rooms. It was clean and had some nice amenities. The staff we dealt with was very friendly! I loved this place.

We did have a couple of hiccups. The shower handle broke and the pull out sofa was not sleep able so Alex swiftly moved us to a different room. He took care the entire stay to ensure we were satisfied. Alex went above and beyond. Our Chicago trip was a sweet success!

Everything was wonderful

Staff was very nice at check in. The room was large and clean. I especially liked the air cleaner in the room... great for white noise. And, the espresso maker was perfect in the morning. Location is very central, and easy to walk to many places. Overall, great experience.

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was very clean and we loved the little window nook overlooking the river and city. Though in a busy area of the city, the room was quiet at night. Staff was very friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend.

Great view of outside. Room ammenities were met. Lots of space inside room. May be sensitive for those with sensitive hearing due to El screeching and traffic noise, but I was not bothered with it. Plenty of local restaurants nearby and within walking distance. Perfectly situated near Magnificent Mile and other tourist attractions.

Well kept property and centrally located to everything. Transportation, restaurants, and shopping are all within walking distance. The krave station was a perfect bonus to our stay. The selection of hot drinks was a welcomed treat for those chilly days. The lobby, was very cozy and inviting. From the artwork to the fireplace, made the environment breathtaking. Unfortunately, we did not eat at the restaurant but they always seemed to have a nice crowd in there. Although the floor squeaked in our room, it was not a deal breaker. The cold water is filtered for drinking and there was a basket with items to workout with. Which I thought was a nice touch. If I am ever in Chicago again, I can see myself staying here again.

The hotel was Ok. It was definitely described as more luxurious than it is. Sits on a loud intersection so our room could hear everything. One gentleman was beating a drum outside for 3 hours and we heard it all. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean…the reception area is small and gets very cramped, walk way to the elevator gets blocked by people checking in. For the money I spent, I don’t think I would stay here again.

The room remote wasn’t working when we got in, and our room was right next to their electric unit, so there was a faint buzzing sound the entirety of our stay. The phone in the room did not function either. However, staff was quick to help with the remote.

Amazing experience overall

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very kind and helpful, the hotel itself is beautiful. Our room was modern, clean, and comfy. We both agreed that it was the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve slept in and actually took pics of the mattress in hopes we could purchase one for our home 😂. The restaurant downstairs has the same great service and great ambiance along with delicious food.

The hotel and room were excellent. The only thing that wasn't good was that our room faced the side alley and the garbage bins get emptied about 2am. Repeated loud banging of the dumpsters getting emptied was annoying.

Would definitely stay here again. Great location, king river view room was lovely (though not a direct river view, you can see it from the window seat), excellent amenities, welcoming staff, and the hotel restaurant (Perilla Steakhouse) was wonderful. The only thing to point out is that another hotel nearby (Hilton Garden Inn) has intermittent union protests outside. If you're on that side of the hotel and plan to spend any time in your room, the noise may be a problem. If your room is on the N. Wabash Ave side or the alley side, it's not much of an issue. It's unfortunate that a union action at an unrelated property is impacting this unique and special hotel, but just be aware of this when booking. The management was helpful in relocating others in our group who were impacted by the noise, but it could be an issue when the hotel is fully booked.

The Holiday Inn next door is having a staff/management union dispute. The staff is on the street w a drum and megaphone. It was deafening in our 4th floor river view room. The staff moved us, refunded the difference and then sent us comped snacks. Great hotel. Restaurant is fantastic, Perilla.

A very nice stay in the heart of Chicago. Property is well maintained, very close to the river walk area, and near an L station. The adjacent restaurant is a big plus!

Good location in a loud city. Rooms are more spacious than most, with plenty of space for everyone to have their carryons out. Room was clean with scuffs here and there, dirty vent, and a single sink with a clean shower curtain. A great value considering we were hardly in our room. Do the happy hour at the associated restaurant. Staff was excellent

We come to Chicago often, and are always looking for nice places to stay. This was our first time at L7. We were well treated, got a large room on a high floor with a river view, as we requested. Good coffee maker and fridge in our room. Room was spacious with excellent view of the river walk. Our only complaint was that one of our 2 windows was very dirty so we couldn’t see out as well as we wanted.Got an amenity for my birthday, which we appreciated. We really liked this place and plan to come back.

The room was clean with good view. Love the big seat bench. Great location and close to the magnificent mile. Very walkable. Staff was responsive when i mentioned that lamp knob had fallen off. It was fixed quickly.
