The front desk staff were wonderful - very friendly and very helpful. The valet parking team and service were also helpful. There were no hand towels and no bathmat in our room.

Great customer service
- 4/5
Great location and a fun historic building. Rooms are dated (floors creak, old windows that were filthy) but it has a certain level of charm and character as compared to a new hotel that is very sterile feeling.
- 4/5
One of favorite hotels when we come to town. Excellent service as usual but there wasn't any hot water in the shower. Other than that the stay was fine
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel and great staff. Try to stay in higher floors though, as this is an old building and the nights could be very loud.
- 1/5
Was charged a 150 dollar in room fee that I don't even know what for. I didn't buy or order anything from hotel or on tv. They won't call me back I can't even imagine what they offer that costs as much as the room. I guess I'm gonna contact my credit card and dispute it.

The location is great in terms of walking to restaurants and bars. The facilities are older, not updated and the beds are kind of stiff.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff nice. Hotel looks about run down in lobby and near elevators.
- 5/5
My stay was AWESOME!!! I will be coming back!!!
- 3/5
The valley staff did not seem courteous at all. The location of the Sheraton being downtown Columbia is extremely congested. It is not a recommendation for future stays. I was really disappointed in the room.
- 5/5
The location is amazing! I also loved that they have multiple bars and restaurants! You feel like you don’t have to leave! Also, the service is top notch!

Awesome hotel and great location.
- 4/5
Always an enjoyable place to stay with a homey feel. This time, there was a lot of noise from guests. The room I was assigned also had noticeable where with hole in the ceiling of the shower. Coffee maker didn’t work. Valet was spot on. Room was otherwise very clean.
- 5/5
I don’t have much to say because I expected more fro Sheraton. 1.The TV went out, 2. I was given a room with a blocked view, 3. The bar was not open in the evening to have cocktails. 4. No room service but the website indicated it did. 5. Breakfast sucked.

This property was an 11 minute walk from the venue of a concert I was in town for. The hotel was initially booked for convenience and I was totally blindsided and inconvenienced upon my arrival. I paid for my room in advance and got there and still didn’t have one.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, the beds comfortable and the room was clean. The rooms needed more light and the shower was awful. The water trickled out and was either hot or freezing. With that being said we’d still stay here again. The location is excellent!

Didn't get too stay
- 5/5
Everything was great, the shower could’ve been a little cleaner, but in general, it was a great hotel and very convenient to a lot of places in the area
- 5/5
Clean rooms and hospitable staff!
- 5/5
Best nights sleep - on best pillows - in as long as I can remember. And all staff were super cool and kind, ESPECIALLY the woman at the front desk on my checkin.
- 5/5
Breakfast was always well done.
- 1/5
The most terrible experience! I booked through Expedia and had reservation confirmed and when I got to the hotel Sheraton said they ran out of rooms.. they relocated me to hotel nearly 30min away!! No compassion, no offer to pay for my cab, they just said sorry and kicked me out.. it’s the most horrible thing I ever experienced in my life of travels. I had my other friends booked at same hotel as we all traveled for an event. It’s absolute disappointment. Neither Expedia or Sheraton made any attempt to reach me and notify me that they ran out of rooms, whatever that means!!!
- 5/5
I will be coming back to the Sheraton for sure great hotel amazing service and staff rooftop bar is really great as well.
- 5/5
We also had a wonderful experience at the rooftop bar. The view is gorgeous!! Walking to the Township Auditorium was super easy. That was so much more convenient than trying to Uber. Overall an incredible stay!
- 4/5
Lots of good dining options nearby. Parking is valet, but on weekends there’s a free public lot across the street. Room was a bit small, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Missed some things that I feel should be standard, like USB ports for charging devices.
- 2/5
I specifically asked for a room with a tub at check in and was given one that didnt. Rather than meeting me at new room, I was told to come to lobby to get key. I was told there was breakfast in the vault in the morning, restaurant was closed. Room was outside of housekeeping area with banging and conversation late at night and early in the morning. Every floor outside of rooms was atomically hot - unsure if there was a heating issue, but wow. Room service was prompt and good, however there was no menu in the room or on the tv. The menu brought to me was so poorly photocopied I could only read the top 2/3 of the menu. A friend tried to send me a bottle of champagne friday night. The desk told her my room number (security??) so she could call the restaurant. Restaurant put her on old 30 mins the first call, 20 the second before she ultimately gave up. Not impressed with this hotel whatsoever.
- 3/5
This hotel is overpriced, from check in the hotel staff seemed bothered, took them about 15 mins to complete my check in. The hotel was almost emptied yet the lobby bathrooms were out of toilet paper and dirty. My room had a weird smell. Breakfast was decent but again the staff seem annoyed by peoples presence. Just go somewhere else.
- 3/5
Shower was never cleaned as the soap dispenser was empty and there was a travel toothpaste on the shower shelf. Phone didn't work to call down for service. Club room was never stocked with coffee cups. Very noisy at night due to location of busy intersection but otherwise staff was friendly and location was convenient to shops and restaurants

My wife and I were there celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary and the Manager and staff treated us great!!!! We will definitely return to this hotel. Great location too!!! Value was great...
- 5/5
Always a wonderful stay here. Amazing staff and accommodations.
- 5/5
The convenient downtown location makes up for the inconveniences. Finally, the hotel has valet parking, but the charge indicated does not include the tip or "convenience fee". I'm still not sure what that is for, but the overall trip was nice.
- 5/5
Every staff member that we encountered were friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the rooftop bar staff. Rooms and beds were clean and super comfortable. The location was convenient to Main Street shopping, dining and Saturday morning Soda City Market.

Perfect location as our daughter goes to USC!
- 3/5
i did not like that the bath tub/shower had a manual shower that was not working, the tub and jet tub was not working... so they have all these features but unable to use them

- 4/5
The hotel was charming, ask for a room on a higher floor if outside noise bothers you while sleeping. The Vault: Marrini Bar wasn’t open while we were there and that was a little disappointing. Overall I would stay again.
- 5/5
Love staying here. It’s on the same street as Soda City which is every Saturday. You can walk to restaurant's and shops. The rooftop bar is nice with great views. The rooms are nice and the beds are so comfortable.
- 5/5
I felt very safe as a single woman traveling for business. I love that there is a fully-operational Starbucks in their basement!
- 4/5
But we were surprised and disappointed in the rooftop lounge - there was no way up except via the VERY DIRTY stairway from the 16th floor, and the rooftop itself was tacky and unappealing. The handrails on the stairway were sticky and the stairs were very dirty and broken up. We were quite surprised by this.
- 2/5
The only option for parking is the hotels valet parking service for which there is a daily fee. There is no busboy service and there were no carts available to transport our luggage up to the room. We had to carry multiple pieces of luggage without any cart up to our room on the sixth floor. The ice machine on our floor was not working. They have a restaurant on the 17th floor, which is very pricey. There are limited options nearby for dining while we were walking to look for a restaurant we encountered numerous homeless people, and upon exiting the hotel we were immediately accosted by a homeless man.
- 4/5
Room very clean with very comfortable bedding. Older but charming hotel central to downtown and restaurants.

The door to our room would not shut properly, Also when we checked in they did not inform us there was to be no parking on Main St and unfortunately our car was towed to a facility which costed us $253 to retrieve our car.
- 5/5
Great location, fantastic service comfortable beds

Excellent stay! The staff was so friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
It was amazing. I love how they tired an old bank into a hotel. The Balt bar and roof top bar were both amazing as well.
- 5/5
Nice hotel in a great location. You can walk to soda city. Restaurants walkable. Nice rooftop bar.
- 4/5
Wonderful hotel in a quaint building. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Down side there was a loud creak in the floor boards and even though bathroom was spacious there was no counter top space for toiletries. Location was perfect right on Main Street. Looking forward to staying there again. Valet service was a plus.
- 5/5
This location is ideal for getting to and from USC. The lounge services at the hotel are a nice bonus. Service at the restaurant is never the best (extremely slow for food!) but the drinks are the bar are good! Valet parking is great and inexpensive. Always our favorite place to stay.
- 5/5

Character: undeniable. Bed: hugs you. This building was built in 1912 and revamped into a hotel with current accents, but not enough to erase the history of the building itself. So keep that in mind when booking. If you prefer new and bougie, look elsewhere. In saying that, based on MY room and MY experience staying there 3 nights: the original floors creak in some spots, there are typical "gaps" under the doors but do not affect anything (layout of my room did not let in light to affect my sleep), and depending on the layout of your room in relation to neighboring rooms, you can hear doors closing (let's be honest, no one was catching the doors closing just letting them slam close). Never felt unsafe at any time walking around by myself. Everyone was friendly. Its in a popular area, so there is lots of people shopping, having coffee and going to restaurants. I would definitely go back.
- 5/5
Lovely historic building centrally located and in easy walking distance to restaurants. Valet parking was a great convenience. Staff was very friendly, beds were comfortable, and rooms were clean and well appointed. The old bank vault made into a bar was such a unique spot.
- 4/5
The amenities were excellent such as a Starbucks and a rooftop bar. Old building but in great shape. Great staff and service. Bed height was a little higher than standard and is a little harder for my wife to get onto the bed. Overall, it was a great stay.
- 5/5
Staff was AMAZING!
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The hotel sits in the heart of downtown. You can't go wrong.
- 4/5
My only complaint was with the valet service. I checked in after midnight, and the guy working the overnight valet was incredibly rude to me. To make it worse, with me standing right beside my car after getting my luggage out, he floored my vehicle while revving my engine. I have never had such a terrible experience with valet before...we were not given another option for parking, and the front desk told me we had to valet. I would not stay here again, solely based on my experience with that service and the fact that there was no other option for parking.
- 5/5
Very unique hotel as it was an old bank. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Starbucks in hotel open 6-6 is a plus. Staff was wonderful. Would definitely stay at this hotel again
- 5/5
Great Stay!
- 5/5
You can’t beat the prices or services at this hotel.
- 5/5
old building well kept
- 3/5
Booked a junior sweet and it just simply was not a Sheraton experience
- 5/5
Very neat hotel in a well kept historic building. Parking is a little tough in the area, unless you valet, which is the only option through the hotel officially.
- 3/5
Noisy street cleaning truck all night, too much street lighting coming through.
- 5/5
Will visit again. Staff was pleasant. No complaints. Great stay!
- 3/5
Room was nice and cozy
- 5/5
Very pleasant stay. Rooms are a bit small but overall experience gave no complaints.

I had a awesome time 😊
- 4/5
Pleasant stay. Room was clean and service was great.
- 5/5
Awesome hotel.. love it. And love the starbucks.
- 3/5
Nice building, but hotel rooms are kind of average.
- 2/5
Sadly this property advertises great amenities and they are NEVER available. This is the 2nd time we stayed here and the vault martini bar was closed. This hotel is very old and it’s starting to show in the rooms from the wall paper peeling to the staff half cleaning the rooms. I saw a lot of mold in shower and stained sheet/mattress. We had to switch rooms because of a fitted sheet missing and stained mattress the staff barely looked us in the eyes upon check in and never informed us of check out, WiFi etc. I’d suggest looking for another hotel if you’re in this area, we did!
- 5/5
My check-in went smooth and it's a block away from my dinner option. I'm excited for my stay here.
- 5/5
This is an older building but clean. Paying for valet parking was a reasonable price and so convenient being able to come and go as much as we wanted. Amazing location for fun shopping and eating on Main St.
- 5/5
Great Property

Nothing special. Average
- 5/5
A wonderful experience! Look forward to rebooking again in the future
- 5/5

Michele was fantastic and so helpful at check in. Loved the stay and the view.
- 5/5
I really like the hotel, from the receptionist to the whole experience.I also like the one who brought the dinner I ordered. She is well mannered and cute.😊

- 5/5
Great Experience.

- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
The only thing I didn’t like is the valet service at this location. Very poor performance by attendant, I waited 15 minutes for assistance and after I went inside the hotel the valet attendant was sitting in lobby chilling. I also watched the attendant ran the red light with my vehicle after receiving it from the garage.
- 5/5
Beautiful
- 5/5
The room was magnificent, the natural lighting and window view was everything- on Saturday they have a farmers market right outside of the hotel that is nice. Staff were friendly and courteous. I would be back
- 4/5
Good place
- 1/5
I didn’t stay. All events were cancelled for my granddaughter at her medical school because of the hurricane. You would not cancel my room because I booked thru a 3rd party. First and last time I do that. And so I get no refund. What a terrible policy. You should have known I didn’t check in. Good grief, who’s running your front desk?
