The A/C, TV, Wi-Fi, and fridge were great. The beds were comfortable, and the desks were convenient to have! The front desk staff was also very kind and helpful when we had a late check-in. Parking was also simple. It wasn’t super clean to start, and the curtains couldn’t open. We ended up getting an upgraded room, which was nice. The bathroom in the second room looked a lot better, but it was difficult to not wet the floors in the bathroom. The microwaves were not in great condition, and neither was the faucet in our kitchenette. It worked fine, but I couldn’t turn it to adjust the temperature.

Cooperation of staff to move to the opposite side of the building to avoid traffic noise and provided a technician to allow me to access live TV instead of just Roku channels. WiFi was non-existent at times and only poor other times. I was told the router was at the other end of the building. I walked there and it was true with my laptop and phone able to get a signal. Also, there was only a tiny piece of soap in a wrapper and no shampoo.

The room was clean but the fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling. Then it started to beep every 20 seconds. The lights on each side of the bed didn’t work. The shower needs to be updated and the shower curtain had mode on it. The staff I encountered were nice and helpful. For a one night stay was ok. But I wouldn’t recommend stay for several days until they get everything functional.

I couldn't stay here after booking 4 nights. I stayed one night and left. Its smelly, dingy and it is built right next to a major highway. The front office staff are really friendly and as helpful as can be. The property is just awful. I didn't like anything about it. The old ac the uncomfortable beds, and disgusting flat pillows.

This property get's no stars from my husband and I. After leaving our cruise from Port Canaveral we decided to take out time arriving back to Atlanta. We booked this room through Expedia after reviewing the reviews. They were'nt great but they were descent to sleep for a night (we thought). We arrived late to the Hotel to find the Check In office was closed. All the lights were out and there was a sign that said the office closed at 11:00. We beat on the door several minutes with no response. After sitting in the apartment lot tryng to see if there was any contact information for us to inquire and there was no number or instructions given. We decided to leave the go the the property that sits directly in front of this hotel. We learned they had no rooms available. I then mentioned the situation we were having with Studio 6 and he told me that the attendant was there and gave me a direct number to call. We returned to Studio 6 and called the number and a man answered the phone and told me to come to the door. He was very rude but either way we got the keys to our room 339. Upon entering and turning on the lights roaches began to scatter. It was now 1:00 in the morning and we had to sleep. We killed the ones we seen and gathered what we needed for the over night stay only and put our bags back in the car. I went to go take a shower only to find that the shower did not work. No one answered the phone! I would not advise this hotel to anyone!

This hotel is by far the best budget-friendly hotel I’ve stayed at in Columbus, GA. Teana was incredibly helpful and provided top-tier customer service with such a beautiful personality. She promotiondefinitely deserves a ! The entire staff was wonderful and made my stay very enjoyable.

I took a shower and when I walked around there were dirt foot prints where the floor was swept but not mopped. The smoke detector was just hanging from the ceiling with exposed wires.

On our second evening, I was standing by the sink and felt drips on my leg. Looking up, the ceiling that was “fixed” had opened up and was leaking onto the floor. I let the front desk know and they sent three different people to look at it. The third person said that it didn’t make sense that we were assigned this room given the condition of it. This told me that the staff aren’t properly checking the condition of these rooms before assigning them. The solution was to move us from our 1st floor ADA room to a room on the 2nd floor. That combined with the fact that it was 9PM and we were leaving first thing in the morning, we stayed in the room. A bucket was placed under the leak. I will never stay here again

It was quiet, and easy access. I didn't like that i never got my $100 deposit credited back to my card. I am not a smoker, did not damage anything,and cannot get anyone to answer when I call.

I passed a church in Harris County. I booked two rooms for a family of singers, nine in total. When they arrived, there was such loudness the smell of marijuana and partying in the area of the room that they were given. They did not even want to expose their children to such an environment. So they left and did not stay there, and went to another hotel.

There were dead bugs in the room and the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke.

Quiet clean and simple. I rent a room to sleep in and shower of course. I saw zero bugs, no stains, hot water, cold AC - clean towels. We rented two room next to each other and they both were exactly what we anticipated. Safe no noises at night- very very quiet. We got the two rooms for less than a higher class hotel would have cost for one night. No frill just the basics. Fridge, microwave, TV never turned on I do not even watch TV at home. SO go spend $200 for a frilly hotel and you will sleep no better than the room we had at this Motel 6 at a fraction of the cost. They all look the same when you turn the lights off....... No dislikes at all.

It was a busy week for this location but they ran out of rooms. They found us a room but the dead bolt didn’t work. Kinda sketchy but perfect for a one night trip.

There was outside noise, had to change room 3x first lock on door didn't work for firdt room, 2nd room had tons of ants in the bathroom coming out of the sink, last room very loud heat/ac unit and the front door had a gap so was not tight seal letting in cold air...it was about 25 degrees at night. When I checked in I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned from the previous occupants. The beds weren’t made and the floor wasn’t swept. We were given another room that was clean however when we got up to take a shower there was not a shower curtain on the shower rod. The staff was very accommodating and quickly moved us to the second room and got us extra pillows when we requested them. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay just the cleaning staff needs to ensure they appropriately clean and stock the rooms

Room was clean and comfortable. But with only one chair, I kept moving it back and forth from a nightstand (where my laptop was plugged in) to the desk and TV. The manager warned me about possible magnetic interference with things at check-in - but my smartphone (in my pocket throughout) may have come too close to something, because it went bonkers. I had to race out and buy a new one, as a repair shop could not provide same-afternoon service. This room had Roku (a first for me), but NO instruction book for it. That made it challenging for me to switch from Roku options to regular cable TV, which I needed for an online project related to the Golden Globe Awards on CBS. It also was surprising to find the only microwave on the grounds was in the laundry room.

Yes everything was great but they charge me again.the young said it was a third party so they charge me another $64 are $ 65 then had to put $50 up front til they check the room but that was no problem when i had to pay again but not staying but one night that's the problem with me.

First we got there 1 to early and had to pay $25 more. The morning staff was very unfriendly. The place appears clean but once on the room after walking on floor my socks turned black the tub was dirty. Then the fridge freezer was nasty. I was with another. Then as the day went on roaches keep appearing which was awful . No vending machines but did have a area on office to purchase a few things but no soda and they do not give back any change at all. Would not recommend to anyone!

No amenities. I paid an early check in fee for room that wasnt available so we had to settle for a room in order to change as we had just driven 6 hours. front desk was pleasnt though. Bathroom was the most updated portion of the room. We had cogwebs in the a/c unit.. the air only blew for 15 mins and then shut off.. the cool air button didnt work. Floor was lopsided and bumpy and bed squeaked whenever we moved on it. The only pros were the pleasantry from the front desk associate and shift manager, Roku TV , and updated bathroom. I paid $186 for 2 nights . We never were accomodated for paying for a room we never moved into. God bless all.

After driving 7 hours, upon check-in, I was told management gave my room away before I checked in. I reserved two queen beds for 3 people, and they gave me one queen. The desk clerk called the manager and the manager admitted on speakerphone that she gave it away. Then she gave me 2 doubles, and said she would only charge me $50, the price of the deposit. The original charge for 2 queens is still on my account, along with the $50. When we checked in to our room, my husband killed a German cockroach on the wall. Definitely would not recommend this Motel 6!!

Water was turned off in the building for 2 hours. Housekeeping didn’t want to bring clean towels and said they don’t have any clean. Had to keep taking cards back to front desk to activate. Front desk older lady was rude and unhelpful

It was very convenient to all the food spots and shops. We were there for my son's graduation ceremony from airborne school so the drive wasn't far. We will be back 10/10 highly recommend you stay.

The very first room 136 bathroom was flooded with water. The room I was put smelled of a mildew smell. There was a dead roach lying in the door entrance of the room. The bed appears to have been slept in because the sheets were wrinkled and the pillow appeared to have been slept on. Also, the toilet had a bowel on the lid. Upon talking to the manager Jozzete at checkout she was very apologetic and professional. She offered me a free night stay but I assured her that I’d never stay at that motel again! She told me would talk with the general manager about a complete refund. Also, I booked through Expedia and it says it’s an Extended Stay America and that there’s complimentary breakfast in which we’re all false. Didn’t learn that it was Motel 6 until after I had paid my money and received the confirmation email.

The office was closed ! I sent a message saying that I was running l was running late from the airport . I had a confirmation # and told them i would be arriving between 12 and 1am. I arrived at 12:05 and they were closed so I was not able to check in and had to fund another place to stay

The room was horrible, the blankets we were provided with all smelled like BO. The door looked like it wasn’t closed all the way, but it still locked so we didn’t say anything. The shower and tub looked terrible, thankfully we weren’t planning on using it. If I was there for longer than 2 nights I would’ve left and went to another nicer/cleaner location!!!

Room clean. Staff informed me that the place is being renovated. I wall with a cane so I was given a room on the lower Level. My first room did not have a refrigerator (my stay was for 4 days). I asked for another room. I was told there was not a room on the lower Level. There appeared to be empty rooms on the lower Level room. It was very challenging getting to my room. Personally, I felt there was no effort to help me to a lower room. I decided just to endure it. I made few trips to and from my room.

Got in the room (314), the ac unit was unplugged, there were cigarette ashes on the floor, the sheets were dirty, and the room did not have a shower curtain in the bathroom. All of these things and they want to charge a $50 security deposit. Not to mention the ice machine didn’t work.

Was fully booked with a loud dog. It was clean, the staff tried to be as helpful as they can.

Room was nice. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Was an odor in room as if nobody had stayed there in a while, purchased some febreeze and that took care of it. For the price and being able to keep my dog there for free was 1/2 the cost of anywhere else around. Was here for the weekend to play in tennis tournament. Walmart and food restaurants were very close and convenient.

The refrigerator didn't work properly, i saw roaches, ikilled them. No hot water for 2 nights, was given another room, on the second floor far away from elevator, needed first floor , because if decreased mobility issues. Didnt receive any help with the move, no discount or anything to compensate for inconvenience. Both tubs had severely chiped paint, guests on top was very noisey.

The next day they put me in a different room.But then they moved The people that were making the noise the first night to the room nextto me. Needless to say I got no sleep.The second night and I gave up back to the two times I called the desk and just had to lay awake and listen to the crap that was going on. The first room had no toilet paper.When I arrived the second room.I had to get clean pillow cases.Because the ones on the bed were filthy.No shampoo at all in either room. And to top it all off.I had to pay for a bottle of water that was sitting on the floor in a case that you could tell they bought at walmart. I have traveled all over the world and frequently to this area.This is the worst motel.I have ever stayed in and will tell everyone on facebook about my experience. Could be good for some people if you want to get high every time you walk out.The front door because people are sitting in a stairwell smoking pot.

Check in did not have the room I booked and had to downsize. Could not get Expedia to reimburse the difference in price. The water was so chalky in the bathroom. The tub was horrible with IDK what in it. They tried to charge me for pet when sign clearly says pets are free stay. Tried ti say it was an old sign. Really frustrating and will not stay here again or use Expedia.

Hubby and I stayed for a night just for a quick shower and a couple of hours to sleep. Worst of all the room was not quiet. We had noisy neighbors that kept coming in and out of their rooms slamming doors, talking loud through the hall, heard a dog barking, loud TV next door and the Highway right behind it SUPER loud. When we arrived to room 205 (back of bldg) the door was open the room was extremely cold at 30 degrees. Found used towels in the bathroom and a roach by fridge and microwave area. The next day we checked out and the front office attendant was scolding an employee who was caught drinking on the job and they didn't even care to ask how did our stay was, which was rude. Do not recommend this place for a relax quiet night nothing but a nightmare.

More hotels needed like this. All I need in a hotel is a clean bed, nice bathroom, and a tv and all of that was perfect. You can’t help that people in the area throw trash and stuff on the ground

It's a good place to stay if you have work

I have always enjoyed staying at the Motel 6 on Armour Road because it is a convenient place for me to go anywhere I want to go and not waste my time.

The room had been remodeled and it was still in progress. Bed and coverings appeared new. Minimal extras which was expected. I stayed 3 days with no issues or complaints. Staff was helpful. Bonus was the laundry room available 24 hours. Refrigerator in room.

I loved that someone was always there to help me if it was for my key or even for my check in. The small kitchen was very convenient, Walmart is just a walk away. There wasn’t hot water at all more of a luke warm I got by for the most part. Housekeeping never came after requesting two times but one housekeeper did change my towels for me in minutes of our interaction. Very quiet an reserved I would love to visit again in the future.

Close to the highway

The manager J is always prompt even when they’re really busy. Reddy and John are a great help. If you stay on the studio side you are able to receive cookware for a small fee. The overnight staff are a great help as well if you ever need them. It’s a clean environment, quiet and I feel like it’s a safe environment. It’s not all that extra foot traffic and rowdiness.

There's an elevator, but I messaged the motel and asked for a room closest to the elevator, they have me one in the middle... READ YOUR MESSAGES PEOPLE! other than that it's super clean, comfy and cheap!

The property's room key machine was down so they had to let me in my room everytime I left and came back. Someone opened/or tried to break-in to my room while i was asleep. Luckily my dogs were in the room and the bar was on the door. The floor had clearly not been mopped in awhile. Renovations were done but there were still holes in the wall. The tub looked dirty and outdated compared to all of the other updates to the room. They were missing a full set of towels for two people.Had to call to get a remote for the tv. The staff was very nice and responsive, given the situation.

It was a HORRIBLE STAY!!! They tryed to cancel my bookikng an hour before i arrived. Also kicked me and my Family of 4 out of our room over charged us. Put my name arents in a not even finished room no bath no water A/C unit didnt even work properly.. and to add to all they have yet to refund proper deposit back.. i wouldnt want nobodies family to have to go threw what mines did for something we payed hard earned money for.

Dirty rooms. Mold in the bathrooms. Disgusting overall. Booked for 3 nights and only stayed 1.

Hotel is gross there's a huge dumpster file with bags to the room, pee spots alll over the floor, the furniture is worn and heavily damaged, trim around the bottom of the wall is coming off, fridge didn't get cold and ac is cold but the fan to blow cold air out does not work

Cheyanne and Don are amazing and is the reason i stay. They're polite, know their job and Great at it. They go over and and beyond to make your stay as pleasurable as possible

The front desk was very unprofessional, lazy, rude,!!! First thing first, how are you on a Facetime call the entire time of my transaction while asking for my personal information? Secondly, how you go from 1 deposit to a different deposit overnight without allowing a loyal customer know ahead of time! Good thing I had the money but I could only imagine those who didn't. On the sign posted it says that price only for a PET DEPOSIT!!! I told him I don't have any pets so why are you charging me extra? Front desk clerk says, "It's their "new deposit" and if I don't have it he can refund my money and I could find somewhere else to stay." It took everything in me to keep my cool and I did, not to mention my card was declined only because it was locked! I goes to unlock my card then my phone died. Livid! Still keeping my composure I politely ask, "Do you have a USB-C charger my phone just died?" Rudely without a care in the world he utters, "No!" To keep this short and simple I paid the deposit.

Waited appx 15-20 minutes for desk clerk to appear for check-in. Broken wood on top of the refrigerator. Room thermostat calibration didn't capture correct temp. BET was not available on channels. No Ice Machine. No secondary lock on door. Trash near elevator doors. Stayed for 4 days, not a single clean up crew. Shower wall has a hole in it.

The Staff are great people. Very friendly and approachable. The property is very quiet and there isn’t any loitering or questionable characters roaming the premises so the place feels very safe.

Where to start… i paid in the app but the checkin desk had me not only pay a refundable $30 incidental fee, but charged me for the room again (after reaching out to Expedia, the room charge was refunded, but still.. I advised the clerk that I had ALREADY PAID). The room was not swept, there was a dirty hair tie in the floor. We killed 2 stink bugs. The kitchenette didn’t have any cookware as the signage protrayed. The recliner in the room had a gash in the seat & stuffing was coming out. There was no remote for the TV. Several of the outlets didn’t have plates covering them. One of the bedside lamps didn’t work. Advertised coffee & tea in common areas, but there wasn’t enough coffee for 1 cup.

I am in the lobby trying to check in now but they’re saying the don’t have a confirmation of payment when the payment has been deducted from my account and I have also received confirmation emails and texts.

Not at all like advertised online - was dirty, holes in walls, unsafe neighborhood. Did not stay and would not advise anyone else staying here.

The property has a roach infestation problem

Front desk staff was extremely nice and friendly. Tried 3 different rioms and they all smelled terrible. There were cobwebs in the windows, roaches scurrying on the floor etc. Trash was piled up in the hallways. Its obvious ownership is not concerned with keeping up the property.

I reserved this room for my like cigarette smoke was flying in from New Hampshire. His flight was a late arrival, so i stopped by the hotel to check him in. And was told that the key reader was broken and someone would be available to let him and his 2 children in the room. With no issues when he arrived at the hotel later that night. The night clerk did not want to let him in the room because it was so late. When he finally got in the room. It was nasty and smelled like cigarette smoke. I had to send them to a new hotel. Very disappointed

Nothing but coffee and oatmeal packets out for breakfast towels weren’t available and somebody high was circling the building for hours and then peed outside in the open. Staff was unbothered. Trash from previous stay was still in the room and no surface was wiped down. When the lady was “cleaning” she used the same rag for every room very unsanitary especially after wiping the bathroom areas. I chose to stay at a different facility that had opened up availability. I don’t see this hotel improving

However, on a basic level, the room fulfilled its purpose. 6 hours of sleep and I was on my way.

It wasn't the greatest hotel experience, I was only there for two days, so I can't complain much. The fridge seemed to be leaking, but I wiped up the water, and it didn't leak again. The tv in my room did not have a remote, so I couldn't really enjoy the tv unless I was willing to use the only button on there. Not the best hotel, but it wasn't bad. I think it wasn't worth the $144 I spent to stay there.

Bugs

Check in is very sketchy, the room was FILTHY, DISGUSTING, the furniture is all tore up, the carpets were so nasty and smelled like PEE! Nothing was clean an inch thick of dust around the TV, ring of filth in the toilet. Their were men hoovering outside my room smoking and make passes at me while I was trying to unload. Not a place for single business woman to be at all.

The room I booked was unavailable so the nice lady at the front desk grabbed me a double bed. The room was ok and the bed was very small and clean enough. The main issue I had was all the cat calling and inappropriate language the other guest used towards me. That and the fact the door ,I later found out, could be opened with out a key if only you pressed on it for a bit. This left me feeling extremely unsafe and I was unable to sleep at at that night.

This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed. There was hair all over the sink and toilet. The bed was made but there was hair in the sheets.

Our room had stained bedspreads and stunk of cigarettes. We were able to switch rooms. We thought the second room was ok until we saw bugs scurrying on the floor. The hallways and property were littered with garbage everywhere. The complimentary breakfast was coffee and a small basket of granola bars. We have never experienced such a horrible place. Definitely do not recommend. We left early.

Go somewhere else. Double tree is close by, clean and has a shuttle.

Me and my girlfriend wanted a weekend away, I booked this hotel and was impressed with how clean the room was and how many supplies it came with. Overall I had a great time and I would book again.

The property was dark, unsafe, filthy, no wash clothes, smelly, no smoke detectors, when putting the ironing board behind the door for safety I found a smoked weed cigar/blunt on the floor. The windows don’t block any sound and the highway felt like it was there with me. The young lady that checked me in was sweet and understanding yet there were no options because it was a holiday weekend. My birthday weekend at that. My son wouldn’t even stay with me because of the condition.

The Staff was very friendly and kind. i really liked that i got to veiw the room before paying for it. the only thing that could of made the trip the best ive ever had would of been memory foam bed instead of springs, i have a bad back and it was killing me when i woke up. more pills on the bed.. but im sure had i asked for them they would of gave them to me. better shower pressure, running in the tub it was great, but coming out the shower no so much. my hair is down to my behind and i couldnt wash my hair due to the water pressure from the shower head. but even with that ill definitely come back to stay there if ever in town again.

I do want to say, the service was amazing. Everything else, not so good. We were allowed to see our room before we committed. It was bad, but most hotels were sold out. Lights didn't work. Power outlets didn't work. Stains on carpets. All the furniture was beat up. No supplies in the kitchen. One bar of soap. We left early.

The driveway into the property flooded. I had to drive through 12" deep water.

After booking through Expedia I was turned away from the property at the door with what they said were plumbing problems. They said they tried to contact me but I received no text notices nor any phone calls. I had to walk away and book at a neighboring hotel

Room was filthy. I didnt feel great about trying to cook with that kitchen being that dirty. It was clear they only changed the bedsheets and didnt clean the entire room. I was going to.stay there five days. I decided to try an air bnb instead.

It serves it purpose. Nothing fancy but clean and quiet. The staff was genuinely friendly, personable, and helpful when needed. I'd stay again just because of that. Everything in the room worked. I recommend asking for an even numbered room since the odd numbers face toward the interstate but it may not be noticeable with the door closed. The carpets could use a professional cleaning but most everyone's could. No weird smells. Clean linens and extra are available at the front desk. I would definitely stay again.

I will say the clerk that checked us in was very polite, however the condition of the room was terrible. The carpet needs replacing or at least cleaned. We arrived around 930 pm and it was a pre paid room via hotels.com so looking for another hotel was not an option. There is an odor that my Lysol couldn’t remove. Only one light worked. To top it off housekeeping banged on the door at 8am wanting to know if I was leaving. These rooms need deep cleaning and some upgrades. Never stay again.

Love the office staff

The property is absolutely outdated and disgusting. Our A/C didnt work half of the time in southern Georgia. Was basically told im sol and i could buy a fan they do t ha e them and maintenence wasn't there. The middle aged african American woman who works late nights is the mos unpleasant and lazy human being ive ever encountered in my life if it wasnt a convention for work and all the orher hotels were booked wouldn't have stayed. I come back every year flr this convention and will never stay at this property again or any of our vendors.
