Very clean inside and outside, great customer service. The only thing I needed was a hairdryer and I could not find one anywhere! Most hotels have these in the bathrooms but I didn’t check to see if it was supposed to be provided, in that case, everything was great!

Our room was at the end of the hallway where the back door entry is, the door is very noisy and there was a lot of entry and exit all the time, early A.M. and Late P.M., very noisy.

The room was spacious, clean and quiet, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was average. The eggs were hot and cooked perfectly but the potatoes were room temp. Kudos on the plastic ware (very sturdy), cannot express how nice it is to use plastic ware that doesn't bend/break with use. Orange juice was syrup like on the bottom of the cup. The room could use some maintenance as the ceramic coating in the bathroom sink is all cracked. And lastly, a night lite in the bathroom would be great! Overall, the room was definitely worth the price and I would stay again.

The employee called James was very disrespectful and nonchalant. I came in heavily pregnant with my children and we were kept waiting for over 3 hours, he found a room on the ground floor and I requested for a room on any other floor and when I requested to view the room he cancelled my reservation. It’s not worth it. We had to go to Hilton Garden hotel close by with better rate, respect and professional customer service. With better service and no discrimination. I hope the management will look into this and hire staff that are professionals and kind helpful to families!

The room were very clean and neat. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent but hey it’s free so why complain. We didn’t use the outdoor pool but it looked to be very clean and well kept. The only issue we had out of the stay is I set the temperature on the A/C unit in our room to the lowest temperature which was 60 degrees, it would run for a few minutes and cut off and it was really hot in the room throughout the night.

Property was well maintained and front desk was very helpful. One thing I didn’t like is that I asked for extra towels and I had to go down to the Front Desk to get them, no one brought them to my room. It was also at least 90° outside and the pool wasn’t open in the middle of May. Also, house cleaning is upon request like any other hotel.

Room 327 had no water pressure in the sink and it was clogged!

I enjoyed my breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and oatmeal. There were a number of other choices I could have made, plus excellent coffee. The staff was very helpful in honoring my request for a room change because the original room would have been facing a street with lots of traffic noise. They also had discount coupons for the Texas Roadhouse restaurant that is within walking distance. My room was perfect -- very spacious and clean. There are several hotels in that general location but I will definitely look to stay there next time.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Wingate, the only issue we had was the hot water wasn’t as hot as what we are used to at our house. My girlfriend enjoys a bath about as hot as boiling some chicken over an open fire, I on the other hand enjoy a warm shower but even with the hot water turned all the way on it still was a bit off. Other than that absolutely everything else exceeded our expectations.

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The property was maintained by a team who obviously take pride in a job well done. The parking lot was quite well lit--I felt perfectly safe there alone with my kids. The breakfast was basic (cereal, yogurt, waffles, toast, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage patties) but did the job it needed to do. Housekeeping is every other day, but you can get most anything you need from the front desk.

The young lady who checked us in was absolutely a sweetheart. One of the best experiences we have ever had dealing with a receptionist , check in desk person ever . She was a delight and real asset to your hotel. Her name was Jenna . Nothing I can think of.

Upon check-in, as soon as we opened the door to one of the rooms it immediately reeked of smoke. After some back and forth with the front desk attendant we were eventually given a different room. Otherwise the stay was satisfactory.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet even though I was on the first floor. Dove products were provided in the shower. The towels were soft, fluffy, and dried well. Not the velour type of material that just smears the moisture around. My favorite part was the wingback chair and ottoman that made a cozy reading nook! I will definitely stay here again.

The check in process was super easy and the staff was friendly. The hotel had a clean lobby and had plenty of amenities like a stop for drinks and snacks and a decent workout facility. On entering the room it was very nice and the bed was comfortable, however once settled I noticed that the air conditioner would make a sound like a car with bad breaks squeaking when the AC would power down. It only lasted a few seconds but repeated every 15-20 minutes. I asked management to send maintenance to the room to check on it and they never did. The bathroom was dated and a lot of the fixtures were covered in rust, and also the bathtub faucet would drip constantly causing me to shut the bathroom door so I wouldn't hear the constant sound of water running.

The breakfast was crap. Waffle mix was not fluffy it tasted more like cardboard than anything else - no sugarfree syrup was offered, and no peanut butter packets (as normally found at other locations); I had to ask for whole wheat bread to be refilled every day (was there for 5 days); no fresh fruit at all, only generic fruit cups in mini fridge; They did have a yogurt machine to pump out "fresh yogurt" but again, with no fresh fruit to add to it, kinda defeats the purpose; the sausage patties had hard chunks in them & links tasted like rubber - definitely low quality, never any bacon or Canadian bacon or ham always just the 2 options rotated; Had to request half & half to be refilled each day - Breakfast staff was more concerned with talking to housekeeping instead of the bar. Check-In was seamless with the front desk manager (WONDERFUL LADY!) & the lady she was training, but I never saw either of them again during my 5 days there - only a man with a military type haircut, who my only true interaction with him was the day I checked out, and as I was unloading the luggage cart he was trying to take it from me (and I had to let him know I was still using it, I would return it to the front when done) and he acted like I shouldn't still need it (?) Thought it was weird that he was so protective over the luggage cart that he would leave the front desk to hawk me using it. Housekeeping was AMAZING! Washer/Dryer is on 3rd floor - both need updating - $2.75 =wash $2=dry.

Our stay wasn't too bad. Rooms could have been cleaner but they were suitable for us just sleeping there. I will say I was not impressed with staff upon checking out. I had to check out a day early due to travel weather issues. Handed in my keys before 9:30am on the day before our scheduled check out date and receptionist at the desk took the keys and told me I was all set. Later in the day I notice I didn't receive a check out confirmation receipt like I normally would. So I call and ask to have one sent to me and am told I'm not scheduled to check out until the next day to which I reply yes I know but I checked out this morning. I was told I couldn't get my receipt because I booked through a 3rd party. (Never had that issue before since using Expedia) I contact Expedia they're great about it and try to help me but the hotel refused to send one because they thought I was looking for a refund for the one night (which I was not, just wanted my receipt for my stay). Fast forward to the day of my scheduled check out and I'm getting text message and an email asking me to update my check out time. So I call the hotel again and explain what happened to which I am told "we checked you out this morning". And they still have yet to send me my invoice/receipt for my stay. I think the staff was rude and honestly wouldn't stay again just for that reason alone. All that annoyance over just wanting my check out invoice. That would have taken two seconds.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was clean, the service was excellent, and I would highly recommend it to others.

They told us the painting would be over the day before we arrived. Not true. Painted all 3 days we were there. The smell caused me some issues. The late night early morning screaming from a child was ridiculous. The place itself was nice. Just misled a little on the renovations going on.

Room had a few issues with cleaning. Bed side table was sticky with what appeared to be soda. The staff here is awesome especially Stephanie at front desk.

I have been staying there since July of this year. The very first time I booked a stay there I was amazed at the great hospitality with the attendants that work there they were so warming and caring about me being comfortable during my stay. I will always stay there the best ever!!!!

The staff was very nice, the property however seemed to have suffered from damage from the recent floods in the North Carolina area. Some of my family members that also were scheduled to stay at the hotel, cancelled their reservations and stayed elsewhere due to the condition of the rooms.

We were forced to sleep in a room where the main entry light would not shut off due to a bad switch or wired wrong.

Overall it was a very nice stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was kept up nicely. There were a few things we noted and reported and i feel they were going to be corrected. Nothing major. We had a strong smell of pot often around the elevator area coming from outside. Also coming through our ac vent.

The room was nice microwave was broken. I had to use the dryer but it only take coins I went to the front desk to get four quarters, I had dimes and nickels. The the lady and man who was at the front desk was rude. They said they could not give me 4 quarters because I had dimes and nickels. I needed a dollar bill to get quarters. They also said that the washer and dryer was a third party so that basically not there issue. They thought I was gone, so they were saying rude comments to two other guests that was standing there talking with them. “Say things about me bringing the nickels and dimes I had bought to get change. The guy at the front desk was also rude to my son when he asked where the restroom was. He kept looking at his phone and it took him a while to answer my 11 year old son. And when he did answer him it was with an attitude.

I was next door at a hotel and had a really horrible experience. They didn’t have a room Available for me and look over 500$ so it almost left me stranded. I came next door to this hotel and decided to spend the extra money for a night. The lady at the night shift was such a joy and was able to get me in a room immediately. My experience was so good that the next Day I decided to stay and Matt at the front desk was just as great and helpful. The rooms are extremely clean and service is incredible. I appreciate the excellent customer service received here.

We booked 4 rooms for 3 nights each over a weekend. I was disappointed that none of the rooms were cleaned or even fresh towels provided the entire time. I know most hotels don’t do daily room cleaning but I thought that would occur at least the 2nd night. The check in clerk and the people at the reception desk were all super friendly and helpful for the first 2 days/nights. The person during the night the last night and same person at early morning check out was not friendly. One of the guests in room 203 was disgusted by a large bug crawling around the side edge of the bedsheets. This was reported (with a video) to the same unfriendly desk clerk who just blew it off…., claimed it was just a beetle. I probably would have rated the hotel much higher if these incidents had not occurred

To add insult to injury, the beds were at least 31 inches high! The woman at the front desk tried to convince us that all hotels have beds that high, we knew that wasn't true. It's very unsafe for some people (especially people with mobility issues) to try to get in to and out of a bed that high!!

I checked in online as the email prompted me in order to save time. The desk clerk insusted that i was NOT checked in. Although i told her that ive alreasy entered my credit card for incidentals and scanned in my drivers license. She said they are still obligated to do it upon arrival as well?? Ishe assured me they wouldnt charge my card twice. Well, they guess what? They did. I showed the frobt desk my card activity where tgere was 5 different charges/holds on my card for ONE night stay? Really? Upon check out, the new clerk ( former GM) called the GM to fix it. Lets hope that its fixed. The customer service of the agent was lacking.. she was so adamant and DID NOT LISTEN to the concerns of the customer. Her "as a matter of fact" attitude does not belong at the anyones front desk. Inconvenient for a sumple 1 niggt stay..amd she couldnt get that right..EVEN after I TOLD HER. She lacked humility. The staff could be a bit more friendly or get out of the service industry.

This place was nice no real issue just your average hotel room for a couple of nights. Felt clean safe and the breakfast was good. The only downside was we paid for some upgrades on our way to the hotel through a text that Wyndham sent, but the staff stated, they don’t see anything about an upgrade and had nothing available…? Haven’t checked my bill if I actually paid for the upgrade or how that was taken care of.

We have stayed here several times due to racing at the Speedway. Always clean, helpful staff. No complaints. The area has lots of things you can walk to including several restaurants. The area near the mall seems to be a bit sketchy. We were always so busy we weren't really out and about after dark, but keep this in mind. Would stay here again.

The room 226 smelled of mold as you walked in, the ac fan was full of it, covering very edge of the fan itself. When getting down to look at the the corner smelled of dry cat pee.

The carpet by the door was soaking wet and created a mildew smell that was awful!

We were greeted by the nicest front desk staff, quickly checked in with no waiting. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was great! Also lots of juice options.

It was quiet for the most part. The beds are a little to soft for my personal liking.

The front desk attendant was so professional, welcoming and helpful. Check-in was so smooth and he was very clear and detailed! When I asked about a certain product in the hotel store, he went out of his way to check every possibility and that made me feel awesome that he would do that!!! He actually acted like a manager! He was the very best!!!

Our stay was good but the only weird part was just before we checked in we got a message from Wingate by Wyndham asking if we would like to upgrade and add a late check out which came with a fee. So we paid the late checkout fee. We then realized we wouldn’t need the late checkout. We spoke with the front desk, and let them know that we wouldn’t need the late checkout and that we had paid for it through the app. She replied with we have nothing to do with the app so we can’t see anything which was confusing to us after paying for it.

Bathtub has a lot of mold, gross. Some started to repair leaking window but never finished the job.

Two of the four ice machines did not work. There was a bag of trash in the hallway that stayed there from 10 pm when we checked in til 11 am when we checked out. Trashcan at front door was overflowing.

Pet accommodations were excellent. Gave us a room with easy access to the fenced in dog park area. Dogs on leashes are welcome anywhere on the property.

It's a quiet location and the hotel is always very clean.

Beautiful hotel.

The hotel was clean, the morning breakfast was good. However, what is described as a “sweet” is not accurate. The rooms are very small, and the pullout couch and the bed are pretty close together.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Easy check in and check out. The property is well maintained and clean. We were surprised how quiet and comfortable our stay was despite being so close to a major highway. We will stay here again.

The beds were very comfortable. Our bathroom had a broken sink. The ice machines weren’t working on our floor. Overall the stay was pleasant but they could do some repair work.

No maintenance staff on duty during a busy event weekend with a "sold out" hotel. Had to unclog my own toilet and figure out how to get it to work without clogging through the weekend. Breakfast was mediocre for continental breakfast.

The trip was great room was nice but the water took forever to heat up .

I told Matt about it and he became hostile and I said the door was a hazard, a fire hazard. He said he would have maintenance look at it, but he was indignant. He should not be at the front desk. The gentleman that checked us in was very professional and pleasant.

I have a major concern about this property. While staying there last weekend, multiple cars were burglarized. There are no security cameras monitoring the parking lot. When I asked the front desk what they were doing to ensure this didn’t happen again, they said there was nothing they could do. There are blind areas in their parking lot. This time cars were broken on to. Next time someone could be abducted, killed, raped, etc and there would be no video surveillance.

When we got to the hotel and got in our room the TV would not work, then the in house phone wouldn't work to call them to tell them about the TV. Well, we find out if you turned the light off the TV would work. So, that's fixed but the phone still don't work. Then I go to check the bed, you know, just checking the mattress and the sheets for cleanliness. Well , first, there is a small roach under the mattress along with someones nasty shorts with underwear still in them under the mattress. Go down to the front and tell them what's going on, I ask for another room. No mam, we are booked solid. Then, they never offered to come get the nasty shorts and underwear! Go to brush my teeth and the sink didn't drain at all. Go down to breakfast the next morning and the manager was at the desk. He gets ugly, I asked him did he want to speak in private and he rejected. I told him that I didn't think he would want his other guests to hear what I had to say. I got asked to leave that I was just trying to get a room for nothing. He told me that he could not give me a receipt saying that he would knock half off after I told him I had pictures of these problems. He gave me half off my room and asked me to leave once again. I would not even give this hotel one start. The best thing there was the sweet night desk girl and all of her help and the breakfast this morning.

Property was clean and convenient to the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue was the bed, soft matress and overly firm pillows did not induce a restful nights sleep for me.

The one downside of this property, along with every other hotel in the area is the traffic noise from a busy nearby highway. This hotel does not front on the highway like some other hotels in that area do, but you can hear the noise anyway. I solved the problem by setting the fan on my AC/heating unit to High to modulate the outside sounds and dialing down the temperature when I went to bed. I am a light sleeper but the noise did not bother me after that and I had a very restful night. FYI, my room overlooked the front of the hotel, so a different room might not have experienced this issue.

We have used this hotel many times. It’s at a convenient location. Easy on/off highway and many restaurants nearby.
