Water fountain off causing odor from rain trees leaves and polluton is not healthy. Beautiful waterfall attracts tourists and locals also. Water on since 1970s with Wellesly name of this hotel. All other a la Quinta with waterfalls are in use. People also donate to waterfalls fo charity or Wishes or if a person needs a coin or dollar they were found inside fountains with flowing water. Avoid!! This was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed! The smell in the whole hotel was awful- mold, musky, mixed with 20 years of cigarettes stuck in 40 year old carpet. It to mention the pee smell! There was hair in my sheets, roaches…I will disinfect everything for bed bugs when I get home!

Unfortunately, some of the staff was not professional friendly. There were issues on how they spoke to us. The room key wasn’t working and then they were blaming it on us, until they realized that there were other problems. Also, trying to get towels from housekeeping was like trying to pull a tooth. Unfortunately the experience wasn’t the best. For such a short stay, it should have been much better. Being nice to the guests goes a long way

There also appeared to be many long-term residents on the property, and there were several unruly individuals around the hotel, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. As a guest, I did not feel that the hotel provided the quality or environment I expected. The complimentary breakfast ended at 9:00 a.m. every day, which seemed too early for many travelers. In addition, I wanted to watch the NBA Finals on ABC, but the hotel did not provide the local ABC channel. When I asked about it, I was told to go to a bar across the street to watch the game, which was not an acceptable solution. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have experienced. Between the lack of housekeeping, poor maintenance, unpleasant odors, and limited amenities, I cannot recommend staying here and will not return.

Overall, I would give this hotel 3 stars. My main concern was that despite staying on a non-smoking floor, there was a very strong smell of marijuana throughout the entire hallway and floor. The odor was persistent and made it difficult to fully enjoy the stay. If the hotel could better enforce its non-smoking policy, the guest experience would improve significantly.

The facilities were adequate for the price. The room could have used some air freshener. It had a slight odor and I could not open the window. The pool was not well maintained so we could not swim. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and the staff were nice.

The hotel needs so updates to the building and furniture but everything was very clean and the hotel smelled great. I had an issue with my reservation and Gigi was so great and helped me out so much! I was very happy with the staff.

Staff was amazing, from check in to check out. As a solo traveler I also felt extra safe because the front staff would always acknowledge me when I left and came back, and provided ideas for where to go for food and the safest places in the area. Parking was very close, right in front of the hotel and along the side. AND the hotel is located in a great spot in Coral Springs for restaurants and coffee (Starbucks!). It is an older hotel so there is wear and tear visible but my room was clean and everywhere I went was clean.

They were cockroachs in the tub. Mr. Nesar was very professional and knowledgeable. Only one person I don't remember her name but she has black and very curly hair sticking out to the sides. She kept calling me sweetie. I was a guest at the hotel not her girlfriend. I don't even let my family or friends call me terms of endearment. I told her to please stop calling me sweetie, she didn't care she kept on doing it. She ruined my stayed at the hotel.Parking was good air conditioner good

Someone tried our door handle many times per night, trying to break in and waking us up. Shower had no pressure but lots of mold. Pillow had makeup on it. It was gross but great location.

Upon entry, had a bad feeling as there were random people working on a car in the parking lot who immediately pointed at my wife and I and expressed an oddly high level of interest in our truck. Chalking it up to just the area, we continued inside. The hotel smelled of sweat, cigarette ash, and cheap cleaner. The hallway was dirty, the elevator had grimy buttons, and the musty smell got worse the farther we went. The hotel room had stained floors, torn bed headboard, and some unknown dried substance next to the refrigerator. We checked out immediately. I've stayed in some ratty hotels, but this one takes the cake as the worst. This hotel needs to be shut down and the building condemned.

The room was definitely not what i expected to see as on Expedia it does look cleaner, in person it was really nasty , you can peep through my door and see me likes there a gap in between , I could hear whoever was in the room next to me tv , snore , cough , drop , talking. The staff was amazing and beyond kind. We never made it to breakfast as we were always coming back late and sleeping in. The pool area needs some attention. My son went in once and didn’t want to again because of all the little things floating on the water . The room was clean and smelled nice . Spacious enough . The staff was amazing. The ladies at the front desk in the morning and evening were great in assisting me with my needs. The room was prepared and ready on time for me. WiFi worked immediately and although I needed assistance with the premium WiFi (system error) the front desk attendants made it seamless for me. No business center. Email said $30 for early check-in but it was $40. rooms are falling apart. stains on the headboard, handprints on the windows. Could hear my neighbors as if they were in my room. Assumed I could leave my luggage there after check-out but they actually made it seem like they were making an exception by keeping it for a few hours. No conditioner only shampoo. The whole building needs to be refreshed. Ms Gayle was nice.

The room was pretty dirty and extremely old. Curtains didn’t close all the way. Stains all over the ceilings and walls. It smelled like wet dog. But the bed was pretty comfortable. We were afraid to touch anything. Took the dirty comforters off and just put them in the corner. Anyway, it served its purpose for a few hours sleep. And it was very cheap so what did I expect, right? Oh, the barking dogs we could hear all night long were an added bonus..not!! Bring slippers so your feet don’t touch the damp carpet!

This hotel is beautiful from the outside and has a great location with close proximity to shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The headboard of the bed was cloth covered and had grease stains across it. There was hair on the bottom of the shower/tub when we arrived. The breakfast was cold and not really appetizing. I booked this hotel because I had a previous stay in another La Quinta where the room was excellent and the breakfast was very satisfying. This La Quinta did not meet that standard unfortunately. I would not stay again.

Called front desk and was told to turn on the sink and it should come in faster (this was after 15 minutes of waiting already). Tried and never got hot water in shower only in sink.

Breakfast is completely plain (eggs flavorless). At least have something other than salt and pepper to offer if breakfast is always the same and bland. Please don’t cover fruit in plastic and offer paper bowls and plates for hot foods- no one wants cancer from styrofoam and please save the environment. I wanted oatmeal but refused to microwave a styrofoam bowl.

Roach, Roach everywhere. In the bathroom on the TV, clock and bedside table. I was moved three times because of the roaches. Even with photos the staff stated they never got any complain, which my lasy room had roach powder behind the sofa chair. There was no lotion in any ot the three rooms. Breakfast, no forks. I asked and the next morning still no forks. I ordered room service only to get back later that day and no service. The location is great with alot of food places. Then the internet was out for a day had to drive to an internet cafe to work.

First off, they have almost no hot water. The first two nights we had no hot water in the sink and barely any hot water in the shower when the mechanic came to fix it honestly only have one hot water heater for the entire hotel, which is ridiculous for them on the carpet in the hallway was filthy with stains. Breakfast is not the greatest. They serve the same egg pie and yucky sausages every day. The place just really needs to be remodeled and it’s very seedy.

Very old hotel. Front staff were nice but just wouldn’t recommend staying here. It’s noisy, needs new carpet, painting and appliance upgrades. The fridge and microwave were warm and dirty. The bathroom is strangely set facing the bed, very small, so small sink is in the entrance of room. Breakfast was what you would expect for the money. Luke warm tea and coffee, and some basics. Overall just not worth the $200 a night stay.

It was located close to where I needed to be. Very close to shops and restaurants. Front desk staff were very nice, (Especially Trudy). Breakfast was bland, boring and clearly, pre-packaged. Scrambled egg disk and steamed mini sausages didn’t cut it! Adding a couple of waffle makers would make a HUGE difference. I had coffee and juice and went out for breakfast.

We actually wound up staying four nights. We stayed in room 220. We also had our dog with us and it was obviously a pet room, but it was clean, plenty of hot water, beds were so comfortable and clean. Air conditioner worked great. It was quiet. The front desk was extremely helpful, welcoming, and lovely to speak with. Our car broke down and we were a couple of hours away and couldn’t make it back for checkout time. They handled it all really well for us and we wound up spending an extra night. There’s a lot of mixed reviews on the hotel and we were a little nervous, but we actually enjoyed our stay. it is not a five star hotel or even a four star hotel but what it was for allowing pets was really good. You can’t book a two or three star hotel, and expect a four or five stars stay.

20 years ago, I booked La Quinta in Pennsylvania, and we had an outstanding experience. Unfortunately, I don't think much maintenance was done to the hotels, and the same goes for this one. Besides the mattress, which was very comfortable, the entire experience with La Quinta wasn't good. The hotel is run down and not very clean. Someone needs to train the cleaning staff on Twenty years ago, I booked a stay at La Quinta in Pennsylvania and had an outstanding experience. Unfortunately, I feel that not much maintenance has been done to the hotels since then, including this one. Aside from the mattress, which was very comfortable, my overall experience at La Quinta was disappointing. The hotel is run down and not very clean. The cleaning staff needs training on customer service; on multiple occasions, their carts were blocking the alley and there was never an apology offered. La Quinta, I won't be returning. I would rather sleep in my car than stay at one of your hotels again.how to treat customers. More than once, their carts are blocking the alley, and there's not even a word of apology. La Quinta, you will never see me again. I'll sleep in the car before staying in one of your hotels.

The room was damp and musty, dirty, the ceiling has mold/stains, the head boards were unacceptablely filthy and shredded, there was fecal matter on the toilet seat on the top side. The whole hotel smelt of cigarettes and some innsense to mask the odor. The shower sprays from the head and soaks the ceiling in the bathroom. There was food under the bed that wasn't cleaned from tenants before. They never took out the trash, or replaced our towels. The keys wouldn't stay programmed. This was insanely unacceptable. Oh the linens had stains or makeup smeared on then. No worries I have pictures. Room 413. While in the elevator another guest asked me if my room was as bad as hers and then she proceeded to decribe a similar layout. Condemn that place.

Elevator was glitchy. Room was in terrible shape, dirty, ceiling falling down in bathroom, wooden baseboards torn up, fixtures corroded, questionable stains on walls and ceiling. Animal scratches on bathroom door, bath mat peeling up (trip hazard), outer door didn’t fit snugly in frame could see light all around it when closed. Furniture was damaged and old. Looked like furniture and sink counter was repurposed from a second hand store. Toilet seat was broken. Overwhelming marijuana smell in hallway. As I was on AA Business conference it was not acceptable to show up reeking of drug smell!

The shower wasn’t hot enough and didn’t have a strong pressure and the toilet would “burp” at times… and sometimes it’s when you’re sitting there. So plumbing needs some attention. We used the pull out couch and maid showed no initiative to put it back together when cleaning the room and left it as it was so was disappointed. The hotel was decent for the price and was very close to the lacrosse venues we were playing at which was great and a lot of good places to eat in walking distance. The room itself was dirty. Our bed (closest to the AC unit) once you laid down you could smell like old throw up. We said something to the front desk but thwy had no other rooms available so we went and got some febreeze which made it a little more bearable. That carpet needs a good deep clean!

First room on first floor had musky smell. Fridge and microwave old and rusty, did not feel sanitary to put food. I returned to room 4:30pm and it was not cleaned. Toilet tank was leaking and flooded the bathroom and into the passageway. Door key continually not working and had to request a new one twice, entry door and lock looked like it can be opened easily. There was a connected room door which was locked but the door was wobbly and did not feel secure/safe so I did not sleep well; I had to pull the table across the door to try and secure it. The room was changed to second floor room due to the toilet leak which was a better room but had some issues like the spread on one bed looked like it was not clean; there were some spots they looked like stains or someone lay a dirty bag or item on the spread. AC was not that cold even @ 60 degrees F but I had to deal with it for the last night. I am dissatisfied. Staff very pleasant and friendly, especially the front desk team.

This year I stayed again for a couple of days in December, and it broke my heart to see the state it’s in: rooms that smell of humidity, A/C units that don’t work, carpets with bad odors, mold stains on the ceilings, towel racks that aren’t securely attached to the wall, poorly painted and stained room doors, and so on. I hope Wyndham takes this property seriously and restores it to its original condition.

The hotel could use a paint job in the rooms and hallways but what I found most pleasing is that there was no odor of any kind in the room. It smelled like nothing and that is most important to me. Although they only offer cleaning service every 3days, but I could request service at any time. I arrived Wednesday and requested service for Friday without issue. We were able to get fresh clean towels at the front desk without issue. This made the overall stay good.

This hotel has been going downhill for years. Elevator not working on first day, last year our whole stay it wasn’t functioning. Pool not always clean. I imagine people resign themselves to staying there because it's the cheapest hotel to family that you are visiting. The only mildly positive thing is the free breakfast. Although there wasn't a huge selection to choose from.

Elevator was broken entire stay. Front desk staff never greeted us entering or leaving through lobby. TV in room was ridiculously small. All other aspects were average. I picked this hotel based on there convenient location, but probably would not stay here again when I return in a month.

Elevator was out and website did not start that. Per the sign the Elevator was supposed to be fixed in 5 to 6 weeks since the month of April. It should have been fixed by the time i got there. The ac was not working in our first room on the 4th floor and i was moved to the 2nd floor. I wish the girl was up to the standards that our shows on the website and i would love to come back when it is.

Room was ok with a couple of exceptions: 1. The shower floor grout lines were not clean. 2. No chair in the room to sit on.

The elevator was not working and we were on the third floor. It wasn't terrible but the staircases are small and not that clean and I wasn't told ahead of time. They said I could cancel but we were already there.

However, the appearance of the entrance door to the hotel looked old and worn.. reception area was average. The person at the front desk was decent enough . What made an impression on me was the hotel did not look modern, you were seeing the age on the building. It was most inconvenient upon check in that we were told that the elevators were out of service. I was nursing a leg injury and it was most inconvenient, and uncomfortable. For my entire trip I had to physically climb the staircase because of the non- operation of the elevator. It was never repaired even upon check out seven days later . The room did not have a safe to keep our valuables. I did not like the layout of the bathroom where the sink was outside of the bathroom. The sofa in the room was very uncomfortable to sit . The pillows on the bed were uncomfortable. All in all the hotel was not as expected especially as it was shown online. Will I go back?..it will depend how La Quinta treat with my poor experience at this particular location

I liked the proximity to shopping and restaurants. The hotel seems to be undergoing a rehab or renovation. The pool is in bad condition. I wouldn't want to swim in it. A lot of people raved about the hot breakfast. There wasn't a lot of options, but it was a good breakfast.

The elevator at this location did not work from 6/14/25 to 6/24/25. I was told it would be up and runnin in 2 days. We were in the 3rd floor. Nothing but BS.The staff super rude. My husband's card key for our room did not work, he went to ask the front desk receptionist Cheryl and she refused to give a new card. The other front desk receptionist Trudie also super rude and always with an attitude when we asked her questions. The breakfast also has changed. This was my 3rd time at this location and also my last. Super disappointed. Not a great experience at all.

I didn’t like the smell of the room. Nor did I like the decor in the building, which was old-fashioned. Also, this is the second La Quinta property that I stayed at that had no working elevator!

The place was convenient but the can maintain inside the room better , the bathroom door was rusty , i see roach inside the room that was make me uncomfortable , they got a nice pool the bottom was Dirty and i was so hot couldn’t even enjoy the water that was not appreciate and i pay for a extra day With is that i spend only 4 hour extra when i ask them to give me a discount because i was having an emergency i was not able to spend another night they told me it’s already it’s non refundable they not helping me at all even i was explain my situation .

Elevator broken to..

When I arrived I was told elevators were not working and they were not going to work any days soon. I asked for a lower floor but had to haul everything to the 3rd floor. When I got to the door, it was at the top of the stair well so I felt it was in a dangerous location since everyone was going to use the stairs. I then tried to open the door and it did not open. I called and was told I needed to do extra things to open the door...My phone died so I didnt hear it so I just had to yank and move the door in unnatural ways in order to open it. I could not find plugs in the room right away to charge my devices and was concerned about looking behind the bed. I just was not comfortable in general there

First and foremost, every hotel and motel that has a listing on Expedia can update their listing within 30 seconds. My frustration with this property is that they have had issues for a long time and they do not post them they are waiting for you to walk in the door and then they tell you that they don’t have working elevators since the beginning of April so you have to climb stairs, they don’t tell you until the next morning that they have a very limited number of items to select for your breakfast. They don’t tell you about the odors from the air conditioning or the dirty carpet in the hallways. I asked for a refund and they laughed at me - when you are arriving at 9 PM they know that you don’t have any other options. The place is dirty, smelly, and they intentionally do not tell you that their elevator is broken on Expedia

To make things worse, no help or accommodations were offered for the situation. I expected at least some assistance or compensation, but there was none. The pool area was dirty, which meant we couldn’t even enjoy that part of the hotel, and our first room had a dirty bathroom. The front desk clerk did move us to another room across the hall, but by then, the experience was already tainted. This stay lacked the basic hospitality and cleanliness I expect when traveling. I really hope management takes guest concerns more seriously in the future. I would not stay here again unless major improvements are made.

All I’m going to say is you can check in a year later and they will tell you the elevator is down at the moment but it’s been down for over a year now so go figure. You get what you pay for.

The owners of the property should be ashamed of themselves, doesn't look like there has been any money spent onbthe property for along time. It needs to be gutted and revamped they have let it go for way to long. The only positive from this place was the convenience of the delicious food options.

I arrived to a bum stealing change out of the water fountain at the front of the property and nobody did anything just let him be there making people uncomfortable. The TV in my original room had a shattered screen. The windows were disgustingly filthy, handprints all over them. The pool was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen in my life, with a lot of foiliage and white residue covering the water. The elevator has not worked in years apparently and I was on the 3rd floor. There was another person in the room next to me that had two huge dogs, a Dalmatian and a shepherd of some king that were barking all day and night. One of the lady’s on staff Saturday 6/21 was one of the rudest people I have ever spoke to on the phone. This place needs a serious overhaul. Disgusting.

Nice stay. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. Very clean and comfortable. Good complimentary breakfast with eggs and the basics and plenty of good coffee. No complaints at all, and the price was right. There is an issue currently with the elevator but I was on the ground floor. Great location with restaurants in easy walking distance.

Elevators were broken and they did not let me know until checking in. I had no hot water in the showerhead and no accommodations were made. Every hallway smelled like marijuana and there was trash in the hallways.

When checking in I had to wait for over 10 minutes for staff to show up to front desk. The elevator was out of order and that was not mentioned when I booked. I have a knee injury and had to walk up and down to the 4th floor. Was not happy. There was a musky smell in the room and hallway. Very disappointed in this place.
