It was a good location. staff was friendly and helpful and weren't annoyed at us asking questions. They gave us directions and eating places. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We didn't have time to eat breakfast but the breakfast area looked cleaned and food looked delicious. Would stay again.

When we got to our room, the door wasn’t even closed. Supposedly housekeeping possibly didn’t close it all the way. When we pushed the door further open it made a sound that got the guy down the hall yelling out into the hallway that he was naked and we didn’t want him coming out there! He just kept on mouthing so we left immediately to alert the manager on duty and got another room on a different floor. She was very nice and understanding but she wasn’t able to make the change easily because we booked it through Expedia. After a phone call to figure it out, we finally got settled in another room.

We stay at Hampton Inn's when we travel because of the cleanliness and the feel of comfort. The minute we walked in, the smell of musty, moldy smell that was trying to be covered up by some sort of cleaning product that wasn't doing a good job. If there is anyone with allergies to mold, please look else where because I know people that could not stay here due to the smell. We get to the room, the chair was disgusting. Stains all over it. It looked like someone picked it up from the side of the road and put it in the room. I am so disappointed in that room. When I returned home I washed everything immediately due to the smell and the thought of bringing home bugs or anything unknowing from this Hampton Inn.

Its as nice as most Hamptons and Id stay again. Like so many of these hotels, the stucco leaks around the windows. My first room had a strange odor that you could vaguely smell through the cleaning products. I have an eye and a nose for these things and sure enough the carpet below window was wet and it wasnt the AC. The smell was the dank and musty water intrusion. I was promptly given another room that was very nice and I slept well.Dont take room 409.

The breakfast staff was rude. Closed the breakfast bar down about 30 minutes early and complained about the guest coming to get beverages at 8:30 a.m. when breakfast was over at 9 a.m. They also did not provide towels after the first day. Housekeeping stated that they would be by to change out towels that morning. When we arrived back at the hotel there were no fresh towels and the front office staff stated that they change the linens and towels every 2 days. We were told that we could wash the towels that we had at our own expense or wait another day for new one.

Bed was hard, room was not clean- counters and lamps not wiped down, dust and fingerprints all over them from past guests. Trash left in the room from previous guest. Stains on the bedsheets we saw only after pulling them back late at night- too late to switch rooms. Bathroom door got stuck when trying to close it- had to leave it open all trip. Thanks to gap at bottom of door you can hear everything and everyone in the hallway. No bathroom fan so you can hear the people in room next to yours in bathroom - like they are in yours with you. Shower head was horrible- no pressure and no matter the setting half the water just ran straight downwards. Air conditioner didn’t have a way to keep the fan on so all night it kept loudly cutting on and off.

I recently stayed at this Hampton Inn and was extremely disappointed with the condition and service provided. The room had no working microwave, and the refrigerator was broken, which caused major inconvenience during our stay. We were only given two towels, even though the room was booked for more than one guest, and the overall maintenance was shockingly poor. This experience is a far cry from the standards I’ve come to expect from Hampton Inn. It feels like their quality has dropped significantly, and this property clearly doesn't meet the brand’s usual level of comfort or service. I would not recommend this location and will seriously reconsider staying at Hampton Inn in the future unless improvements are made.

We wanted to take a quick getaway for Spring Break and that was the main amenity that we were looking for and found out the hard way that this property has been remodeled and they removed the hot tub (see attached pictures). Hotels.com has it shown as being available and it is in fact visible on their profile picture for this property. It is not listed as an amenity on the Hilton website but they still show it being there in pictures of their pool area. The pool also no longer has the little fountains shown in the pictures on both sites. I expressed my displeasure with Hotels.com for not posting accurate & trustworthy information and after a few days of back & forth they finally gave me a partial credit in OneKeyCash. The hotel was relatively clean although there were Froot Loops on the floor of our room that I suppose the maid missed from the previous guest. The pool area had been abandoned by guests but there were multiple piles of wet towels laying around that area. Speaking of towels the pool towels are thin and coarse like sandpaper, the room bath towels were a little better but they only had provided two (there were three guests in our double queen room). Only other complaint was that there was not "hot" water in our bathroom it only got warm. Positives are the staff were friendly, beds were comfy enough and the breakfast area was clean and decently stocked. All that said I would not stay here again.

The bad - This place is still under renovation. The night I arrived I didn't have hot water which I was able to accept. Then my AC was noisy and not putting out cold air. The sheets didn't fit my bed so they kept falling off. The staff was quick to offer me the next room over at 1am so they were responsive. -No hot water -Broken AC in my room -Sheets didn't fit the bed -No General Manager working there The unforgivable - No hot coffee in the morning at the lobby. Hotels . Com told me to talk to the hotel about getting accommodation or discount on my next stay. The hotel told me they don't have a general manager to escalate issues with. And so it goes. Whomp whomp.

It was probably one the worst stays at a hotel that I have ever experienced. Up to and until this stay, i always had very favorable experiences with Hampton Inns. This hotel was under renovation, and I do not believe that it was identified on the Expedia website. The front desk person directed me to their website, and it was annotated there. However, that did me no good since I booked my reservation on the Expedia website. There was furniture and boxes lining the first floor walls, where I stayed; the water pressure was low. I had to inform the front desk person that there was no hot water to which she told me that the hot water had to be left on for at least 20 minutes before it would heat up; it took anywhere from 20 to 25 minutes. The room was dated, hence the ongoing renovations, the wall paper in the bathroom was peeling; the steel lamp bases were rusted; and there was evidence of hair in the bathroom tub. Since I was on a time constraint, I was not able to search for another hotel. I will be as fair as possible, and say that the staff tried to be as accommodating as possible given th extraordinary circumstances. THIS WAS THE WORST!!

We were there for 5 minutes before realizing we made a HUGE mistake booking there. The place stunk which initially I tried to ignore. They didn't have the room I booked for (2 queen beds) and only had a king. It was myself and two other adults but we decided we would make it work to avoid the hassle of rebooking (our fault). Then when we go to the elevator it was covered in blankets and started to take off before we were in. We ended up taking the stairs and when we entered our room we realized we were not alone (roaches). Pool had some sort of film and because of the renovations was nothing like the picture. The lady at the front was the sweetest and helped us as we navigated through a 1 hour call for help to move hotels. We were able to get a refund. I saw her do it. However the bank has still not dropped the charge as it's been pending now for nearly two weeks. Rep on the phone was kind to work through moving us so there is no fault to them. However this hotel is NOT it!

They have a lot of mediocre renovation currently. Alot of rust from the humidity. Their pool and hot tub area was yellow taped off. Could not use. All the Ice machines was out of order except third floor. Could not get a remote for one of my TVs in one of my rooms and the hotel staff was very unhelpful and rude about it. I call 3 times for a remote. I asked for the remote out of the gym. They told me there was no maintenance on call to help me. They called me rude and told me I was being rude in front of their customers when trying to explain to them my experiences. The front desk staff told me to search the tv myself for buttons to change the channels. They booked me in handicap room which I didn't request. For some reason theres no towels, no pillows, no shampoo or conditioner. Feel like the employee started to say no without me even finishing my sentence. Waking up in the morning was very limited on trying to get the kids breakfast or something to eat as well.

Question for the owner of the property. The heck me and my wife have been going here for years and for the past few years since covid the hot tub is still busted and only one ice machine works and all the tiles are coming up in the bathrooms and the faucet doesnt have any water pressure not low nothing the only place you can get pressure of any kind is the shower and thats not saying much. This place has gone down hill bad. The staff is great though, the owner and management is what needs work. As a property owner take some pride in what you own letting it fall into this disarray for years is disgraceful.

the water pressure was almost not even there. almost not enough to get wet. The handicap bench blocked the shower curtain thus getting the floor wet. The gel soap made the shower floor slick which is bad but in a hacdicap room could be really bad.

Staff was amazing, check in was super easy and fast, the pool are was clean for the most part. The only thing I would complain about was the smell of the room. It was like a mixture of pee and mildew, my mother in law was in a separate room and her room smelled exactly the same so there was no point of switching rooms.

I found feces on toilet so was not cleaned at all disgusting. Told manager did not care. Had a business meeting at 5:30 am no shampoo at all in shower. Room smelled and air did not keep up. Will never stay here again.

The pool was so heavily chlorinated my kids almost got chlorine poisoning. It hurt their eyes, and they couldn’t stop coughing after 10 minutes. Bathrooms and counter surfaces had hair upon arrival. I requested sheets for the pull out sofa bed and was given one waffle blanket and a pillow. It was cold in the room so I went and requested a set of sheets for the sofa again and was given a duvet COVER only. Apparently they didn’t have sheets available overnight.

Good hotel. Place may need new furniture and a refresh. Shower was slow. Hot tub wasn’t a hot tub. Pool was good. But overall breakfast was good. Folks at the front desk were attentive. Clean. Beds ok. No complaints

I didn't like that the hot tub was not working and that it was not mentioned that it was out of service. Also the indoor heated pool was not heated.

Very disappointing for a Hampton. We booked this property because it had an indoor hot tub but it was out of order for our entire stay. The coffee pot didn't work and a light bulb was missing, but staff corrected those problems timely. They were out of regular coffee all three mornings, but made some while we were there. The first morning the juice dispenser didn't work, but was fixed by our last day there. Everything (except the hot tub) was taken care of after complaining, but why are there so many issues to complain about!

I really liked the attendant that checked us in, very nice. Breakfast was good, and property was close to the freeway. Rooms were clean. Only bad things was the hot water was hit and miss. The carpet was sticky when you walked barefoot.

The room we stayed in didn't not have a good AC unit. One minute it was warm the next it was hot. Luckily it got cold the next night and we just turned off the A/C unit. The wallpaper in the bathroom was coming off. The shower door had soap scum from previous nights stays. No one has cleaned the shower for some time. The furniture looked old and dingy. Overall the maintenance to this hotel needs improvement. The employees were nice and it made it hard for me to write such a horrible review. Really need to remodel the inside of this hotel; does not meet the same expectations as other Hampton Inn hotels.

we got this hotel because it had an indoor pool & a hot tub. When I called the front desk how to turn on the hot tub they said it doesn’t work & is being used as a “kiddie pool” that was annoying. In our room, the vents were leaking water while we had the AC turned on. The tiles on the floor were cracked and coming up off the floor. So I would rate our overall stay a 4/10

when I got there, it took forever to find my reservations. No soap in the bathroom bed was hard. ice machine did not work on our floor for breakfast. We had to go to the other hotel, and the elevator quit working and for a handicap person. It was very hard for me to get up and down those stairs. This was the worst hotel I ever stayed at.

We needed a room last minute and this one was pricey, but pet friendly. The room smelled like dog urine. Other than that, it was an okay place. The sheets and towels were clean. The area didn't seem too decent once we saw it in the daylight. Of course, Corpus Christi isn't the nicest place overall.
