Unobsructed view and access to beach. Clean, comfortable bed. Not the cleanest otherwise and needed major repairs, BUT YOU ARE RIGHT ON THE BEACH!

First was an unexpected $50 deposit which was disappointing, but we did recover the deposit about an hour after checkout. Second, the Pictures on Expedia showed our room with a sleeper futon. There wasn’t one. Booked this room because of the extra space, but we made it work. Staff was helpful otherwise. Room was not top notch, but location was great.

Room was half furnished, ceiling falling in, something brown spilled down the bathroom door, carpet torn and frayed, concrete above parking where room are above marked off with caution tape, was crumbling and rebar either showing or dangling or already on the ground, wooden steps rotten to a point that they had detached from side railing and you had to go Up at an angled slant hoping the other side wasn’t gonna let loose at any moment. Thin bed covers. And so much more. Pics on website are deceiving if not deceptive.

Room smelled awful. Blankets were thin and couldn't control the a/c. The smoke that our neighbor from the room next to us was coming into our room somehow.

Everything about this hotel was horrific. Half of this hotel has literally collapsed. With yellow caution tape around it. Im surprised the city hasn't shut it down. That is what you first see upon arriving here. Pool was dirty and run down. Stairs are uneven cracked. So watch your steps. The outside of the hotel all around was in really poor condition and just plain horrible. I was dreading the room itself. Trying to open the door with a card that didn't even have a room number on it that looked like it was 50 yrs old. Door didn't want to open. There is too much to explain how dirty smelly very old the room was. I didn't even spend 4 min in there when I told my husband we were going to another hotel. Everything is so old needs updating. Honestly the whole Hotel itself needs to be torn down. For such an awesome location the hotel itself and the money we spent was definitely not worth it and was a waste. Don't waste your money and time at this place. It's such a shame that the owners have let their hotel get this bad. I went to turn the key in to the manager and explained how awful the room was. All he said was he'd give me a better room. I declined and we left to another hotel. I give this hotel zeros all around.

The location is great. But the room and the overall building are very old and outdated. Room is a good size, but not clean. Stain marks on the bed skirt. Part of the building seemed to be falling apart. I am amazed that it is still operating. Won't stay again.

It was quiet and we love it is so close to the beach. It was clean, but beds are a little hard. You have to bring your own pots to cook. In general, we had a good experience with our kids.

Ocean view was amazing. Our room was clean. It is an older building but we had a great stay there. The man running the place was the best.

Great view building needs updating

The room had no hot water. It was filthy dirty. I literally had to clean the room by taking cleaning supplies off of a cleaning cart that was outside the door at 10 o’clock at night The front desk clerk was fighting with room service man and womanand scaring my 10-year-old daughter. To the point where she wanted to leave it was going on outside of our door then I was charged by Expedia and the motel so was double charged for the room. She said she was refunding the amount through Expedia and through seashell Inn and now I have to wait for my refund until March 22. I will never stay there again. It was disgusting and in ill Repair the whole building has issues wrong with it foundation wise. I’m surprised it hasn’t been shut down through code enforcement or the health department. I would never recommend this motel again to anybody. The stove top was so dirty that when I went to go cook on it, it caught on fire, my son had the adjoining room and there was holes in the bathroom doors shoe marks on his bathroom doors like somebody had kicked the door. They wouldn’t even wipe it down. It is not a good motel and if I was you, I would take it off my site.

This motel has a beautiful view of bay. Staff was accommodating on late pm arrival. Exposed nails outside on stairwell. Bathtub faucet did not work. No toiletries except for toilet paper provided. Standing fan had no cover on front. AC did work thankfully. Extra blankets were not available when asked. Understand this is a motel however structural integrity and safety measures need to be evaluated on premises.

We enjoyed our stay, but the exterior of the property does not seem to be well maintained--for example exposed concrete and rebar in the roof of the parking lot.

Bathroom was not very clean. The sink was clogged. There was very poor water pressure the first day with no water the second. Parts of the building were crumbling, so I couldn't park in a few areas. My room was never cleaned the entire week I was there. No other places available to move to in town.

This hotel is in terrible condition and in desperate need of upkeep and repair. The room had live ants all over the floor. The room appeared to not have been vacuumed. The box spring mattress was stained and gross looking. We asked to check out for a refund due to the condition of the hotel. The manager was rude and refused to assist us or approve the check out and refund. We had to come back the next day to talk to the owner for a refund. The owner approved a refund of 4 out of 6 days. We did not even stay 1 night but had to forfeit 2 nights.

Bathroom had mold and definitely looks structurally unstable, great location on beach should invest and renovate.

We left the moldy motel 5 minutes after checking in.

This motel is an absolute dump in a remote rundown area that was under construction for the new bridge. It was seriously disgusting and depressing and was nothing like what I thought it would be. My husband and two adult children were appalled especially my daughter. Luckily we had a friend in Corpus Christi that we were able to stay with the second night. So we swallowed the cost. The $180/night was an absolute joke regardless of whether it was Memorial Day or not.

The building is old and rough in places, but the room and the beds were comfortable. The outer stairs are kind of terrifying to carry a suitcase up, so definitely use the ones by the office for that! The employees we interacted with were great and very helpful. A good value for the cost and the view can’t be beat!

Rooms were very clean. Located in a very good area. I just wish the water pressure was better, and to update the shower head. Other that that, experience was great.

The room was filthy. The shower curtain had red mold, hair, and whiskers in the sink and the bathtub. The fire alarm was disconnected. I had to change the sheets on the bed, and there was a blood stain on the mattress, and it was filthy.

Had to drive thru 7 inches of water to get to property if your in a small car it would be scary

The property is in terrible disrepair. The young man in the office was nice & helpful. The stairs were dangerously falling apart. The bed was comfortable & clean for huge most part, except one pillow was questionable. My husband did see a roach in the early morning hours. There was an extremely dirty coffee pot but no cups or coffee. The view was gorgeous at sunrise. Fajitaville next door was a great spot. We would not stay there again.

While it's not a fancy place, it is a nice spot for what we needed. It was easy access to the beach and allowed for us to go back and forth to our room with our child who has medical needs. We would stay here again for the convenience.

Great view and clean room

There was no toilet paper left in 2 of the 3 rooms we booked. We checked in on time but immediately left and didn't realize this until it was midnight.

The location is good. It has a nice view, it's right by the water and the beach is easily accessible and just a short walk away.

It was exactly what you think and expect. Budget, no frills but a nice view and chill vibe. What is absolutely inexcusable is no foot shower near the pool area.

Like the building says, THE BEST SPOT ON THE OCEAN. The nights were peaceful, the room was cold. Its not the newest or cleanest but take a few clorox wipes and call it a day. Worth every penny. Will be back

Price was very low so be aware you get what you pay for. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The covered parking was a plus. There is no elevator because it's ON THE BEACH so you have to use the stairs. I didn't mind, but you may want to request a room on the first level of rooms if that's a problem for you.

The view was the only good thing about this stay. We have stayed in this hotel in previous years and have been very happy with the location and cleanliness of the space. This time around not so much. the bathtub filled with water and did not drain the entire stay, so no showers after the first one (we have 5 in our party) when we addressed this to the front desk, he just told me a plumber would be there the next day, never saw one. the sink in the kitchenette dripped constantly and the door wouldn't lock correctly.

Room was nasty there was a couple dead bugs and roaches dead by the window and the was a lot of hair on both beds my room had not toilet paper i left right after i checked in and stayed at another hotel. I didn’t get a refund but at that point I didn’t care i was not gonna stay the night there.

Initially, the toilet had poop on the toilet, went and spoke to the office and they had the housekeeper clean it right away. Housekeeper wiped the toilet lid down only. We ended up going to the store and buying cleaning supplies and wipes the walls, doors, shower and toilet ourselves. Other than that initial experience, the location was great, the pool was good, and we had no other issues.

Overall the place was decent, right by the beach and views of the USS Lexington Museum. Our stay was stay able, although my wife and I are used to higher rated hotels, you can’t beat the price for staying on the beach here in Corpus.

If you have kids it’s very uncomfortable to sleep at this place.. extremely dirty .. employees are all cracked out. My hotel room shared a door with the room next to us. Really weird. Your better off staying on the beach.

We took a quick family trip in June. This was the cheaper option near the Aquarium, USS Lexington and walkable to the beach. The water was way too choppy when we went to get in, not the motels fault. However, the pictures of the motel are really deceiving. I understand when paying lower price you get what you pay for, but this was awful. Rusty, dirty rooms, stuff from the people before you on the floor (hair, gum wrappers, etc) the table tops were dirty, the headboard was broke, ceiling was disgusting, kitchen was dirty, bathroom was okay. It’s one thing when you see pictures of so so rooms and then you expect it, but when you expect what the listing reflects then actually arrive, it’s awful. Stairs, stairs and stairs. I don’t mind but when you have a 2 year old it was cumbersome. We swam in the pool one night, it wasn’t the cleanest and people were just out there smoking cigarettes while I have an 2 year old out there and they had their own kids. Shame. Only positive was the view from our room.

A lot of construction. It made driving confusing. No ice and no coffee. Had to go buy it. Closeness of the beach was great.

We had a wonderful quick overnight family trip. No fuss no drama and the most beautiful view to wake up to.

Pros: very friendly service from the staff. I needed a fan and after day 2 needed more TP and they had it to us shortly. Walk literally to the beach in less then a minute. Totally clean. Cons: No elevator which is fine for me, but the stairs are fairy steep. No continental breakfast. This place is old, and it shows, but for the price what do you expect? It’s also Mosquito city! Holy crap, I was eaten alive, so bring bug spray!!!!!

The spout in the tub is loose & needd caulking. I would somehow hide all the wires hanging from the TV. There are no elevators, so getting my baggage to the third floor wasn't easy.other than that, The beach is your front yard. It's clean. There are no roches. The A/C works. I came in mid September, so the beach was nice and uncrowded.

This was perfect for beach side properties to USS LEXINGTON and Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi. Had the kitchenette room and brought food to cut expenses. Was clean and safe.

I picked this hotel since it backs up to the beach, just a two minute walk and you’re at the shoreline! That is SO nice. Sadly, they have no ice, the pool is dirty but the worst part is the room is nasty. There was sand all over our floor, the comforter had dried gosh, no telling what it was in several places. The shower was gross, sand and stains in the tub. Missing handles in the cabinet, and visible dried liquids that have dropped down on them. The refrigerator had brown liquid frozen in the freezer section and the outside had nasty grime all over it. Even my kids were disgusted by this room and one is only six years old. The curtain to the window was hanging down at the top right side. There was a rag stuffed into the crack in the bathroom that led to the next room! Only book here if you don’t mind being in leftover unknown stuff

We've been here many times since 2002 and we've always liked it and have recommended it to all oir friends and family. But over all this was a good quick visit however office staff could be a little more friendlier and greet customers with a smile at least.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Chips under the fridge door and dirty dinning chairs combined with fading paint were overlooked when we realized that we were right by the beach!

Clean room, super cold A/C was perfect for the hot days. Beautiful ocean view and steps from the sand. So nice to just be able to set up on the sand for the day and walk to your room as needed. The pool felt great too. The staff was really friendly and it was nice to have covered parking. Walking to the gift shops, restaurants, the Lexington and Aquarium was a plus. Once you park, you really don’t have to drive anywhere. Will be back.

PROPERTY IS RUN DOWN AND OUTDATED, BUT BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE.

The room was very Dirty. Food was left in the refrigerator there were no towels no toilet paper beds were not made and the sheets and blankets were filthy and stained from the prior guest. Talked to the owner and he said there was nothing he could. The staff was apologetic and said they had many complaints from other guest. They said the cleaning crew they hired wasn't doing there job. So we took pictures and asked for at least some credit but the owner refused even after the owner saw the pictures. We will never stay here again. I booked thru Expedia and when I got to the room they game me a receipt with someone else's name on it but had me sign for the room. So they gave me someone else's room instead of the room I booked. We were here for an event and had other members stay at the same hotel with the same issues and they took pictures as well.

Our room had a kitchen. We made a roast in the crock pot.We went to bed approx 11pm and woke up 1 hour later with roaches crawling on us in bed and they were all over the kitchen. All over our food. It was disgusting. We told management and they won't refund the money. This place is a dive.

Room was extremely dirty , towels and pillows had red brown stains . Fridge was dirty too . The toilet paper was not a new one and the office is always closed. Rooms don’t look nothing like the pictures even bed frames are so different from photos. All I can say is yes the price is okay because it’s right across from the beach but never again here . I didn’t complain to them it was pointless. Lesson learned

stayed for one night and from midnight to 6am my fishing poles and tackle box where stolen out of the bed of my truck tried to talk to management and none of there cameras work just for show

The building is in need of repairs. Spotty house keeping in general in our room as well as on the exterior. Rusted screws and nails on the stairs were concerning. Positive parts were great view of the beach and the A/C worked.

This place is not up to STANDARDS we booked 3 Rooms and a syringe was found in the shower in one of the rooms this is not acceptable we travel as a drug free family and paid a pretty penny we expect clean rooms !!! We WILL NOT BE STAYING AT THIS TRASHY PLACE EVER AGAIN !!!

The location is excellent! The hotel is acceptable for the price. It could use some remodeling and updating but that will drive the price up.

May not be a fancy 5 star hotel, But Location gives this place a 5 star rating & this will be where we stay from now on! Staff was great too. Not having to drive to the beach was so convenient for our family!!!! & eliminated the sandy car mess, thank God!! Only complaint was that the walls are extremely thin & the other guests didn’t respect the hotel’s “quiet time” in the evening.

The staff here were soooo so kind. Sweethearts. BUT, everything else was awful. The rooms were insanely damp feeling, and there was mold growing in the bathroom in the corners of the walls. There was a hole in the bathroom door. No lamp on the side table. The towels and rags were stiff as hell lol. The iron was stolen. The outlets were so loose that you had to prop something underneath the charger box or it wouldn’t stay in. The windows were not cleaned at all. So dirty that you couldn’t see clearly out of them. There was an oily film on the mirrors and tv as well. There were black crumbs in the tub..?? The bottom of the shower curtain was brown. The pillows were super flat, and the pool was extremely murky. Only stayed one night and dipped. If you don’t mind any of this, go right ahead. It was $84 for one night, 4 adults. Extremely cheap, but given the conditions of the room itself, I wouldn’t pay that again.

Honorable AC was warm, Musty wet smell damp, couldn't breath..

Location was great. No elevator to take our luggages 3 floors up. The fire defector was beeping all night, when asked to fix or move the room, the service guys said he will be there in a minute. I can see he was playing video game, he was holding game control. Late into the evening, the office was closed, so we slept with the beeping fire/smoke defector alnight. Worst service i ever encountered.

Easy parking and quick beach access, clean rooms and clean property. Always coming back
