It was one of the cheaper but nicer places to stay in the area, huge pool nice rooms, free breakfast every day that was good if you like sausage and eggs every day. We stayed for a week for work. The only problem we had was if you left the bathroom fan on with the door closed you would get a sewer smell, I alerted the staff and they where quick to try to resolve it with no resolve, we ended up leaving the bathroom door open a crack and it helped, all in all I would stay again

That pool! Honestly, the pool drew us in. My granddaughter is a swimmer and when she saw the pool with the lanes she was so excited. It was great to be able to come back in the evening and have a quick swim after dinner. The pool drew us in; the hotel as a whole will bring us back

Older hotel but good for our two nights. We liked the location. Kids loved the pool, basketball, and breakfast. Beds were soft and fine. I would stay here again.

Checked us into a dirty room that wasn’t even the level of room that we paid for the hen had to argue with staff to get our sweet we paid for.

Property was great. Lots of stuff to do at and near the hotel.

Staff was prompt and friendly. The available breakfast had great variety and ultimately saved us decent amount of money for what we would have spent on a comparable breakfast. Definitely an expected surprise.

Breakfast is ok, very tidy area. The grounds were awesome but needed work to be done. The Pool (in and out)area was clean . You should promote the pond area and its path! The Pool area was nice but no Restrooms. Needs to be cleaned up some!

The breakfast was excellent. The best breakfast food options I’ve ever had in a hotel. Large variety of options.The food was freshly made and all tasty. Instead of a typical hotel lobby for the breakfast, they have an entire separate restaurant building. Very large to accommodate many people. We did not use the pool or Jacuzzi, but they both looked very inviting. There was also a basketball hoop /balls and variety of outdoor activity options.ie: a small putting green. I strongly recommend a stay at this hotel.

The room was very comfortable and up to date. The exterior was old looking but the comfort in the room was excellent. They also had a very nice breakfast.

We travelled and stayed in the hotel to join my Son for dinner, for Mother’s Day dinner, at RH Rooftop Restaurant (just a few moments from the hotel). It was a very nice and quiet place to relax. It is great for families! There was a basketball court, huge pool, hot tub, fitness center, putting green and many other activities. Plus, a lovely place to have breakfast that was included in the price. Each room opened to a lawn with a bench for catching a breath of fresh air. There was a refrigerator, microwave oven, keurig coffee maker and a nice table to enjoy a meal while looking out at the massive lawn. It was not fancy. It was simply fun and relaxing!

The Corte Madera property is really nice and the location for value is perfect. It is a great location for a one night stay but the pool, basketball court and putting green make it great for kids and families too. Lots to do close by! Staff was great! Would stay again for sure

Breafast had a good variety and was very tasty. We didn't use them, but there was a small basketball court, putting green, and swimming pool, which would make it a great place for families. Staff was very responsive for any serice requests.

This little hotel has a lot going on! Was super surprised at the cute grounds, definitely taking my bikini next time!! Heated pool and hot tub looked so inviting! And a tiny putting green. Super dog friendly. Loved it, I'll be staying there again soon!!

Me and my 2 young girls went on a week-long California road trip which wrapped up with 2 days to explore the San Francisco area. We opted to stay at the Corte Madera inn and were not disappointed! It became a highlight of our trip! The pool is AMAZING! Rooms are big and clean. There’s even a ping pong table and basketball hoop poolside! We especially appreciated the hot tub and the breakfast. I also appreciated having parking free and nearby (compared to staying downtown San Francisco). It was within 20-30 minutes of everything we wanted to do in the Bay Area, and the nearby shops were an unexpected perk! If you’re planning a trip to the San Francisco area with kiddos who love to swim, and have refer to be away from the hustle of the city, this is the PERFECT spot!! The staff are wonderful as well!

Nice place to stay with kids. Good breakfast, clean, comfortable room. Pool and hot tub area are run down but a nice amenity.

The staff was great! We were checked on multiple times to make sure everything was ok. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Parking was free and easy, right in front of our room.The breakfast was ok. I don't eat eggs, bacon or sausage. There was oatmeal and 3 dried cereals. They had almond milk They also had fresh fruit.The yogurt from the machine tasted weird. On our last night the upstairs residents were very active starting at 2:30 am. I don't know if they had some kind of medical condition? They were using some sort of machine, coughing and walking around alot. We lost alot of sleep.

The room

The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced! I hope to find out the source/brand/type to see if I can get one like it for home! The breakfast was really excellent, and generous. High quality. French toast on fresh sourdough bread and quite a variety of foodb for anyone's taste. One small thing. The pen by the bedside was non-functional--no center ink tube. Not a biggie, but would have been nice to have it and a small writing pad near the phone.

Clean safe and well kept. A little older but not in a bad way at all. I will gladly stay here anytime, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. it's in a great location and you won't be dissappointed!

perhaps the breakfast would have different options every other day - i was on a work trip and stayed for the week. eating the same breakfast every morning got tired pretty fast.

Older buildings but very well kept. There was a crazy rainstorm so we didn’t get to utilize all of the outdoor amenities this stay but hope to come back in a sunny weekend next time. The stay and room was ok. However the toilet flush mechanism was not working had to manually pull chain to flush not what I I needed to do when on a wedding overnight . Reported to front office at check out Toilet was broken.

The staff was very friendly. We loved the location and the ease of getting our luggage to our room. The room was clean, and the pool was clean, and the breakfast was good. On our last day we got back to the hotel late and there wasn’t any parking for us, but that was our only issue.

Let me be clear: this is not a fancy place. There are other hotels in the area that are spotless, quieter, and more of a destination—but they'll cost you significantly more. This is a jumping-off point, a great stop on the way to the Bay Area with very easy highway access. The staff is professional and courteous. You'll see all kinds of travelers here—lots of families taking advantage of the good rates and extra space. If you need everything to feel pristine, this isn't the place for you. It has old charm, and while I don't like hotels to feel dirty, this place does have some scuff marks here and there. But the price makes it worth it. Save yourself some money and stay here—just don't expect a fancy resort. It has some wear to it, but it's clean and quiet and totally worth the value.

Enjoyed our stay at Best Western Corte Madera Inn very much. Excellent location and easy access to the freeway. Ample parking and more than adequate room size. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Front desk and support staff were accommodating in any way needed. They reached out throughout the week to assure our needs were being met. We would definitely return!

We had a very nice stay at Corte Madera Best Western. The 'executive room with king bed' was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, cereal, fruit, pastries, juice, etc.

Lots of activities on the property and the breakfast was great. Parking spaces on the smaller side

breakfast was OK. Did not used the pool. the bed was in very bad shape. noise from adjucent room completely distroyed my 3 night sleep. requested staff to change my room but my request was denied.

The beach was a 10 minutes walk from the property. The breakfast is basic including muffins apples and bananas cream cheese cereal coffee tea sandwich bread and cold boiled eggs that are store purchased. There is not real beach view, just a strip of the ocean seen remotely from the window. It is just good enough to stay for 1 night. You need to carry your luggage up the stairs as there is no elevators. Parking is free and uncovered. Pool is small and heated.

The property has a ton of potential. Breakfast was pretty great and the beds were comfy. Staff makes this place better than most! Outdated and needs upgrades. It has so much potential and I hope one day they restore it. Could be good or bad but it is literally right off the property.

The absolute worst hotel breakfast I've ever had. It looked great with lots of choices, but nothing good to eat. Every guest at breakfast walked around looking at everything, trying to find something edible. A lot of 'food' made it into the trash can.

The location is excellent. There was no hot water and when I called the Front Desk the person was rude. It is hard to travel and expect the room to be suitable for your needs. To have a frustrated front desk manager provide you with insults because you are not able to use the shower is not comforting.

Stayed at the Best Western for a night because we had a wedding to attend. It was in a very convenient location to Mill Valley Community Center. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was much larger than I was expecting, the beds were comfortable and very clean and inviting. And the free breakfast was like a diner with hot food as well as pastries, and fruit and coffee. For the price of the room, the breakfast really added to the value, especially if you are traveling with family. It is close enough to downtown San Francisco to make a comfortable day trip to museums and Japan Town. There was no safe, and I could have used another blanket on the bed, but that's my personal preference.

I really like the way this place is laid out. Rooms with balconies all facing a central courtyard that has pool, gym, jacuzzi, garden paths, even a putting green. Can hardly hear busy US 101 nearby. Also the breakfast is spectacular, the best of any of the many, many Best Westerns I've stayed at. And, no problem with the dogs, in fact a lot of guests had brought pets. Also it's right across the street from a large mall that includes a supermarket and some pretty good restaurants. For a Best Western, this place completely exceeds expectations.

Shower was ridiculously small, tv was to far from the bed. Staff was great...the hitel needs a face lift, very old.

The staff was friendly and so helpful! I just had the most relaxing stay. The grounds have shuffleboard, mini golf, table tennis, rocking chairs & fire pits! Wowza! The pool and hot tub are huge and the loungers are comfy. The spaces are beautiful and thoughtfully arranged. The price was great. I was never woken up by the housecleaning staff. They were sweetly so quiet! The breakfast staff greeted us with big smiles & the breakfast was so epic!! Pineapple and watermelon! Pancakes, french toast AND waffles! Check out is noon and the pool area is open early to late. I feel lucky to have discovered this hidden gem and will definitely be coming back.

The room was not the best. Weird odor like that of mildew. Rooms have no microwaves but are available in the lobby and upon request. What hotel does that nowadays. Especially those suspiciously rated 9.0. The fitness center was worse.

The hotel was fine. The property was tired and outdated. Our room needed an update. It was also located right next to the 101 so it was loud starting about 6:30 am. The pool said online that it was heated. But it isn't in January. So no use even having it open. I would say that the property was probably very nice about 20 years ago. But needs a solid update. Would not stay again. The bright spot was the customer service. The communication via text was excellent. They responded to anything we needed quickly. The staff was great. Some variety in the breakfast would be nice. They served the same thing 4 days in a row. Not much selection. Overall I wouldn't stay here again. Lots of other choices in the SF Bay Area.

All staff was helpful. Breakfast area was quite spacious, food was well arranged and it never was crowded at the various stations. The only issue was small but important to me. I need an extra washcloth for my eyes. I requested one and when we returned to our room instead of three (2+1) there was one. Next day made the same request. Next day had to make the request again. I guess there was a communication problem. We did spend four nights and found the facilities well thought out. Thank you for good holiday stay.

They do have some rooms with decks to the garden which would have been nicer since I was traveling with dogs but I didn't notice that till after I already checked in. You can hear the freeway but it's not as bad as you would imagine since the hotel is right next to the freeway.

The room was quite spacious and clean. (2) However, the wait time when checking in/out could be shorter if additional staff were available to help. (3) The non-disabled parking spaces were all taken so we had to park at the next building on a cold, rainy night.

Room 120 is very low end and the bathroom is like a closet with a shower in it and a toilet. The TV is too small for the distance that it is from the beds and the sink is right next to the TV. We stayed in room 140 the next night and it was worth the $178 per night but room 120 was not worth $178 per night. It should be lowered to $150 or lower.

At first when I entered, I thought the hotel was old and it is however, the beds for stellar cleanness is amazing aesthetics are charming, and the food for breakfast was stellar

I love this Best Western, Staff are very friendly, this is an older property, but the staff are impeccable.

Breakfast Menu was fresh and varied, Hot tub seated 9# and was very good. Many other options on site for activities - putting golf, basketball, large swimmining pool, shuffleboard, sitting areas, and exercise room. It had a great area for dogs and only charge $30 per visit (accommodation).

We stayed 2 nights and went to breakfast the first morning, it was food choices was terrible, and we choose not to go back the next morning.

I really love this hotel. I’m honestly not sure why. It’s charming in that rehabbed 1960s kind of way. It’s clean, it’s comfortable, it’s affordable. You won’t be sorry.

I couldn’t figure out how to use the air. The mattress is very uncomfortable felt like the sheet underneath needed to be pulled, but that wasn’t the issue. There was something wrong with the mattress. Other than that the room the service everything was excellent.

There are a couple of shopping centers nearby that I enjoyed. I enjoyed their hot tub and pool. I stayed in a king room with a jacuzzi but the jacuzzi wasn’t working properly when I tried to use it. Also, the fire place in my room would only work some of the time. Otherwise, my stay was very good. I stayed for a total of 3 nights. I appreciated the breakfast they provided every morning.

My only complaint is you can hear people playing basketball early in the morning and late at night on their bball court.

This is an amazing property. Love all of the amenities is has to offer. The complimentary breakfast was top notch with freshly cooked options. The only recommendation would be a gym refresh. The equipment is out dated and has very few options. Would absolutely recommend.

The grounds and landscaping are very nice, and it is surprisingly quiet (considering how close the freeway is). The hot breakfast is a nice touch. The quality of the breakfast is nothing special, but it's better than what most similar places have.

The room was good size. It has a private balcony that you can enjoy. There was an area near the door to the balcony that was wet. I love how bright the light is in the bathroom. There were plenty of shampoo and body wash. However, I am disappointed how low the pressure was of the shower head. It took a long time to rinse my hair. The bed was also too soft. I sank where we slept and it was not comfortable.

This is an older facility. Although the carpet and wallpaper are dated the furniture is modern. The rooms are very large. The mini kitchen is great. The breakfast is great. Staff is friendly. A lot of the parking spots are narrow.

Quiet and cozy area

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It was an old dirty hotel room. I didn’t want to stay in the room. Spend the extra $$ and go somewhere else. I was tricked by all of the positive reviews and 9.0 rating. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

I especially like the grounds. All rooms back to the green garden area with back door access. Many options for enjoying the space: comfortable outdoor chairs, fire pit areas, workout space, large pool and hot tub, putting green, basketball, bbq and picnic table. Our room was large and included all amenities desires: mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. Will stay again.

This property has so much to offer. Swimming, basketball, ping pong, fitness area, putting green, fire pit, and free breakfast. Definitely recommend. If you are planning a trip to San Francisco, stay here. It takes less than 10 minutes to get to the Golden Gate. Great room, tremendous staff.

CHECKED IN TO ROOM 230 UNPACKED AND THEN TRIED TO TURN LIGHTS, TV ETC. ON AND NO ELECYRICITY TO THE ROOM. WE WERE GIVEN A KEY TO ROOM229. HAD TO GO OUT AND WHEN WE GOT BACK IT WAS DARK AND HAD TO GATHER OUR BELONGINGS IN THE DARK AND BRING THEM TO THE NEW ROOM. CLEANING WAS NOT DONE UNTIL AFTER 5:00 AND HAD TO BE REQUESTED ON THE FIRST FULL DAY. ON THE SECOND DAY THE ROOM WAS HALF CLEANED ONE BED MADE AND THE OTHER NOT. OVERALL, CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. DESPERATELY NEEDS AN OVERHAUL.

So many extras. Bbq area, pinp pong, putting green, pool. Great place for families.

I've stayed at this property before and never had any issues. It's family friendly, the staff is courteous, and the location is very convenient.

Cute property, a bit old building but was okay.

This is a great place to stay if you’re visiting the city or a nearby beach. The pool and spa are amazing, the sitting areas are great. The breakfast is top notch and you can take a tray back to your room. The rooms are quiet, spacious and a great rest. This hotel is one I plan to come back Time and time again.

This property is old, but the location and wonderful lap pool make up for that. It is a convenient and safe location for the Bay Area. Breakfast was excellent!!

This is such a great hotel - very cute courtyard area and the breakfast was the best that I've ever had. There were so many food options, and everything was fresh and delicious! I will definitely stay there again.

This BW site was a pleasant, comfortable experience due to its staff and overall design. Decor was contemporary in contrast to some equivalent “corporate hotels” which become shabby and worn. Rather the overall ambience and services were inviting for more returns to Best Western. High regards, Richard Patrick

Love the activities for family at the property. Grounds are meticulously maintained & pool area is outstanding. While rooms could use some updating they are well maintained & very clean. Rooms in the Lagoon building are very close to freeway so additional sound proofing would be a plus but use of sound machine blocks out night road noise.

The room was very nice. The shower and bathroom need to be updated a bit. Over all it was a nice room.

We had a good stay. The hotel's a little dated though.

There were people playing basketball outside our room at 2am. There were earwigs crawling around in the bathroom. We left at 3am because it was so bad.

Loved the pool with the bar and music! And a kettle in the room!!! Wow!

Staff was pleasant and responsive. Efforts to make the travelers comfortable was noticeable, water, coffee and cookies at the lobby etc. The place might be old but it was well maintained, beds were very comfortable, All in all, a very pleasant stay. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay

Convenient to freeway and small shopping mall. Quite at night for sleeping comfort. Very clean room and bathroom; well appointed with sofa; armchair and desk. Only negative the bed was a little too soft. Large invitingly pool with large patio; tables and chairs

Breakfast was good.

Wonderful comfortable property and rooms but was a bit upset because the swimming pool was out of Service and that is one reason we stayed there. But the hot tubs worked!

The staff was very professional and friendly. I liked the follow up emails and texts that made sure that everything was okay. I especially liked the breakfasts...and will continue to come back for those and all of the other amenities. Thank you!

The property is nicely decorated and updated. The staff were friendly and helpful. We requested a late check out and they were accommodating and pleasant about the request. The breakfast had a nice for variety for the being included. We'll be happy to return.

Loved the location and the very friendly staff. Super clean. Great shopping and eating choices close. The only issue is the shower/tub combo being in the main room away from the "bathroom". Also the tub cold water knob would bot turn on 😔 which lead to a very hot bath since the only cold i could get was from the handheld shower nozzle. A pretty big bummer since i was looking forward to a whirlpool bath after all day of walking 😒

This place has a mid-century charm. It’s not the fanciest place I’ve ever stayed, but I felt extremely comfortable.

After staying here almost a week, our room almost came to feel like home. Large room. Reasonable rates. The only thing was the property was not that new, so the heating system would come on in the middle of the night and make noise. Otherwise, everything was quite satisfactory.

The hotel is older, but it turned out to be very quiet and comfortable, and a good nights rest is the goal. An excellent location close to everything. We had a wedding at the Presidio and we were there in 12 mins!

Good service - place a but worn

Fairly suburban location with restaurants and a brewery in "town center" across the street. IE...you can walk to them! Otherwise, you really need to drive to go out. Bed was a little tired but still comfy. Room was very clean...just not brand new. Shower was a little cramped...but was simple and worked great! Liquid personal care options were very nice. AC/Heat was great because I could keep the fan going...no disruptive on and off noise variation. And it was not super loud. BIG points for that! Great natural light in my second floor "deluxe" room. And I could open one of the windows quite widely! Hot breakfast was decent. I enjoyed it. Only actual "complaint" is that WIFI slowed down during the evening. No doubt due to heavy use. But it still worked fine for basics. Pool looked very nice! (I was there in February) I was there for over a week riding my bike around the area. Great launching location for that (fwiw). I would definitely stay again.

One night stay with family. Room was large and very nice. Very comfortable. Close to restaurants.

While the hotel is very close to the road, you don’t hear it in the bedroom. A lot of amenities to enjoy in the summer. Breakfast included in a former restaurant next to hotel. A lot of dining options across the street.
