On top of that, the neighbors were extremely loud yelling, cussing, and fighting throughout the stay. The towels looked dingy and unclean, and the beds were uncomfortable, hard as rocks, and even felt damp. For the price, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, this stay did not feel comfortable, clean, or worth the money at all.

breakfast was ok. but the bed where i slept was awful. i woke up with bed bugs. my whole body was filled with bites itchiness and my upper lip was swollen. beds need to be more free from bed bugs.

The breakfast was ok. No fresh fruit and limited yogurt. The beds are hard. The towels and washcloths are old and dingy. No toiletries in the bathroom shower and the soap and shampoo was so small below trial size. We were not impressed.

Overall the hotel is nice. The room was clean and cozy. Thank goodness there are only two floors because the elevator operates like a dumb waiter. But you have to hold the button to get to the floor you want while riding in the elevator which freaked me out a little bit. Other than that, no issues with the facilities. Thank you for the accommodation.

They refused to let my daughter check in because she was 18 and not 21. My daughter travels for work and has stayed at numerous hotels including other Best Western hotels, and she has never had an issue like this. Nowhere did it say there was an age limit while booking the room.

There was a smell of mode in my room. Especially in the bathroom, there are.But I did bring to their attention when I was leaving.I'm sure they took care of..

Clean room, helpful staff. No issue with stay. However room design is strange as the lavatory/sink is right by the door making it awkward to answer the door or leave if someone was using the sink/mirror. That is a design flaw and not the fault of the staff.

Check in was good.. Wasn't happy with the cleanliness of the juice/water machine. Mold fell in my water cup while filling with water. I tried to clean both nozzles but that's gross.. checkout was easy..

Great customer service The pool was not available and we were not advise before check in. One of our reasoning to select location was the area and pool. I was not happy since the weather was very warm.

The hotel was overall clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Our beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. Towels could have been a little thicker, they’ve definitely been in rotation awhile. The pool area was nice but the pool paint was peeling and little chips of it were floating all around. Even with the pool issue, our stay was comfortable, quiet and overall worth what we paid.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The experience was good but the pool was not open and the shower and issues. I would stay at this location again though.

Night manager was really nice. He helped me carry my things up the stairs. The elevator was broken. So sweet of him. Appreciated his kindness.

Was not happy finding dirty towel with a wad of hair placed among the clean towels. Clock didn't work and bathtub was a fall hazard as it was extremely slippery. Grab bar was outside tub. Also out of reach of toilet. Back outside stair railing more hinderance than help.

Was required to pay, without any previous notice, a $100.00 deposit against "incidentals", in addition to the room rate. The deposit is allegedly refundable, but I asked and no one will check the room at the time I check out, so I will drive away and find out later if I get my deposit back. Needed the room but will not be staying here again, this too closely resembles a scam.

I stay at this hotel every time I come to town. I’m so grateful to the staff and everyone at this location. This hotel is clean, quiet and completely hassle free. It’s close to plenty of places to eat and easily accessible to the highway.

This has all the components to be a good hotel, but it doesn’t pull it off. It feels dark and shabby throughout. The bathroom is minuscule, with poorly executed tile work.

Breakfast options were the same each day so not much variety, but okay. Room was clean but the lock on the door was difficult - it took many tries to get in. Needs maintenance. Staff was friendly and helpful, though.

Check-in was ok, but quickly realized that there's no elevator. Our room was in the back of the hotel with a sketchy entrance, including a butcher knife at the foot of the access stairs, and none of the doors into the hotel locked properly. Once in the room, the surfaces were very dusty but the bed seemed clean. When we arrived back in the evening, the corridor was consumed by marijuana smoke, so we were subject to that all night. In the morning at breakfast the appliances were locked in the middle of making food, so we had to throw it all out because they would not allow use of the toaster. So make sure the clock doesn't strike 9 with a bagel in your hand because it will remain untoasted. This was the worst check-out experience I've ever had in ANY hotel. While we we packing the car I remained in the room (keys were already disabled before checkout time) to ensure we got everything. Suddenly there is a constant bam on the door, I ask who is it, 1st no response, bamming continues, 2nd it was housekeeping, I say no thank you, then they say its the front desk and demand I open the door. I tell them no and they say they are going to charge me for an extra night if I don't leave right now. He hovers at the door for a while and leaves. My husband returns upstairs and we head to the front desk. When I asked who was doing that, they said they didn't know. Never again will I stay here, it was closest to the event I was attending but I will drive from now on.

This is the best property in the area. About 8 of my family members also stayed here for our event. I was allowed early check-in for a $20 fee which I didn't mind. Room was clean, bedding was clean, and room was spacious for 2 people. Elevator was out of order during my visit but its only 2 floors so easy to manage. Breakfast was served the next day; it was ok no eggs. Also, no pets were allowed, I appreciated that. Floors were quiet! Good customer service checking in and out! Good job! I will definitely stay again.

Amazing place and amazing guy at the front was very understanding in helpful 100-10 recommend this place if you travel to stem or Durham very quiet and the beds are so comfy. THEY ALSO HAVE ROOMS WITH SMART TVS IF YOU DONT WANT AN OLD TV SETUP!!!

Reminds me of what hotels used to be like, when they actually cared about whether you had a nice stay. Staff went absolutely above and beyond to accommodate last-minute needs, were kind and supremely helpful, and generally just a joy to work with. Truly, the lost art of hospitality is on full display here. This was my third year in a row staying here for an event, and I plan to continue!

No public restrooms at eating area based on the hotel attendant at front desk, the door was locked and she stated it wasn't for use.

Has potential to be a nicer hotel if more work was put into it. For example, the exercise room - the TV didn't work, the exercise bike seat was broken, and the exercise bike itself couldn't change speed/levels. There was no herbal tea available (e.g., chamomile), which I've usually found in all other hotels at night. The walls were pretty thin, could definitely hear my neighbor. Otherwise, the room and general spaces were comfortable and clean, and the staff helpful. Just needs a little work.

The hotel was very helpful in getting a room on the first floor there is no elevator. I would have had a problem going up the stairs. They also gave me a handicap room which helped me as it had a walk in shower. The bed needed to be replaced and I mentioned that to the front desk. The breakfast was great for being a continental breakfast. The people were friendly enough. They took a 100.00 deposit for the room and appear to have refunded it back to me. I would stay there again it was very quiet!

The bathroom had mold on the ceiling, the ice had brown spots in it it was disgusting. Overall I would not stay here again staff was unfriendly.

The mold in this place was horrific. I walked in my room and walked right back out. No refund and cost more than other nicer places. Don’t be fooled. Expedia should not list this one. It met no one’s standards!

The fridge had mold, microwave was dirty, shower had hair from the previous guest, floors were dirty and the smell.. was pretty bad, we were only able to have a few hours of sleep the smell so powerful i was nauseous.

If you’re traveling there for baseball or softball. They know you’re coming….rates go way up and all rates are listed as “promo” so that you can’t get a refund if you have weather or cancellations. Wouldn’t recommend. Comfort inn down the road is way more accommodating.

Bath toiletries below par was a 1x2’ bar of soap, 1 1’ bottle of shampoo and conditioner for two adults. Towels thin and child size.could not get room cooler than 72’ was so humid. Beds are so hard woke with sore shoulders. For 232$ a night expected a little bit better.

This hotel overall was nice, staff was friendly, room was clean. My only complaint is that the rooms smelled of stale cigarette smoke in the room, worse in the shower (because of the shower curtain). We had a non-smoking room. We were just staying one night so I didn’t attempt to complain/ask for another room. I’m sure they would have helped, the front desk staff was very nice. Just a heads up to anyone sensitive to cigarette smoke smell.

I have been coming here for years.

I paid over $900 to stay here 3 nights and when I arrived I was told my reservation does not exist and they no longer had any rooms available. This issue was not resolved, I was told I can’t get my money back. I work for Choice and should have known better.

The hotel was very nice with upgraded rooms. It was very very clean. And we are usually very careful staying someone because i do not like nasty places, but would definitely stay there again. My only complaint was the bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. Super hard. But for one night i will take a clean over with a hard bed over a nasty one with a soft one.

The hotel and room were clean. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, tiny travel sized pillows, no blankets, ended up going and buying a blanket and pillows for comfort. The ac/heater didn’t work properly. And the water in the shower did not get hot it was barely Luke warm. The staff was friendly upon check in and the breakfast was hot and yummy.

I was moving a lot of heavy baggage. I wish the receptionist had answered me with something other than "use the stairs" when I asked where the elevator was.

Overall stay was excellent. The bathroom was small and needs to be updated which was the only drawback.

Hotel needs a lot of updates and renovations. Check in was frustrating as hotel was having issues with Wi-Fi and couldn’t access my confirmation. The check in process was over 45 mins.

One of the most disturbing things is that after the first night, I would up with bites that are consistent with bed bugs. I didn’t see one when I was there (although I didn’t look), but I strongly suspect there are bed bugs at this property. There is also a strong cover-up smell in the hallways and rooms that is awful. The staff are generally friendly, but I would stay in a different town when traveling through NC.
