Comfort Inn & Suites Creswell

My only concern is the gradual reduction in breakfast amenities. Initially, the granola was removed, but after I raised the issue, it was brought back. More recently, the bowls for the granola were eliminated, leaving guests to use paper or plastic cups instead. When I asked about the changes, the staff explained that Corporate has been continually reducing the amenities provided to hotel locations. While these may seem like minor details, they make a noticeable difference to the guest experience, particularly for long-term guests. The hotel staff does an excellent job, but continued cutbacks to basic amenities can diminish an otherwise outstanding stay.

The Lady working the front desk in afternoons and early evening was excellent. Very knowledgeable and professional. Her professionalism truly stood out and improved the quality of our stay.

we were very impressed with the pancake machine. I was a little surprised that there was no in room service such as empty trash and change of towels. We were there 3 days.

Quiet, clean and a decent breakfast.

The hotel is located in a nice spot it was quiet. The pool was nice and the hot tub we enjoyed that a lot. The hallways were dirty. The rooms were clean, we had a room with a living room and the couch and chair were pretty stained I did not seat on it. The shower floor was getting stained maybe hard water but it just looked like maybe some maintenance should take place in some areas you forget. And the heat didn’t work in our room. Luckily it wasn’t to cold outside. Over all it was a stay at a hotel. Room was expensive but what isn’t these days.

The only issue I had was the toilet tissue dispenser was at an awkward angle to get, especially when you have limited shoulder mobility. Everything else was great. My daughters liked the iron and ironing board and the dark makeup towel

The breakfast buffet offerings are being cut back. They will no longer be offering granola and they have discontinued providing BOWLS for the granola. You have to put it in a plastic glass. This is ridiculous and very disappointing! Bring back the granola and provide BOWLS!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Easy checkin and checkout. Breakfast was well prepared and well stocked. Amenities such as 24 hour coffee and tea were provided and well maintained. Rooms are cleaned every 3 days and service was adequate.

Outlet broken; bedside lamp did not work. The parking lot is used to park big rigs at night. There was so much noise from the trucks and the nearby train that my partner and I were unable to sleep. We checked out at 3;30 am because of inability to sleep. When I called to inform them of the issue I was told I should have let them know and they could have moved us to another side of the property. Mattress cover had piping that made a ridge under the sheet about 1/2 inch high; very uncomfortable!

I stayed here for the Eugene Marathon and it was totally clean, comfortable, and restful

The WiFi was nonexistent and when we called for help were told we could contact tech support. Who wants to do that on vacation? Our room 228 must not have good access to the internet.

Every time we use this facility there is always something wrong with the pool. This time the hot tub was not functioning due to lack other chemicals.

Hot tub was nice and hot, pool was good temp, both seemed clean. Breakfast was good, better than many. Staff overall that I interacted with were friendly. Would stay again.

A nice lady at the front desk who will let you steal an extra cookie with a smile and a wink is worth a lot. When the breakfast bar is stocked and the fellow who is manning it cooks more before it runs out that says a lot too.

2. Problems with the heater be warm then u were freezing they had no other rooms so we couldn’t change 3. Handicap room had king bed but on 1 side had a big dip to make a lump in the middle, so only had half the bed for use. I complain to front desk and for them to give refund or credit they were contacting you and I was suppose to contact you also. Please take care of this and get back with me. Thank you

our heater in our room did not seem to be working, good thing we had extra blankets! I talked to front desk about it and they said they would take a look at it but nothing changed, The room stayed cold.

I planned my stay here for the night of the Ducks football playoff game. The prices are crazy, but we wanted to stay with a hot tub and get a room with 2 queen beds. The night and next morning that we were there the hot tub was out of service due to chlorine levels too high (this is a maintenance problem), and the room only had 2 full mattresses. Very disappointed.

Terrible! Customer service was awful, so bad we checked out mid stay. We booked for 2 nights and stayed one night. Second night, Rachel the lead at the desk made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome we actually checked out and checked into a different hotel. The hotel then declined a refund even though they were the ones who made us feel so uncomfortable we felt we had to leave. I will never ever be back, I will be leaving multiple reviews in any place I can and I will be making sure others understand how uncomfortable they made us feel. I have a big voice considering I’m a small business owners whose business is in transportation and accommodation. Wouldn’t even give them a star if it was possible.

I did not try the hot tub at least at this point. And breakfast is not come yet because it’s like 2 o’clock in the morning. I was quite impressed with the welcome that we got and the there was no smell in the rooms. None from the dogs, you know because it’s a dog friendly hotel but you could not tell anything in any of the rooms that we got to look in or talk to the people Absolutely no smell. It was quite a lovely place and it was easy to park my motorhome. they had great guidelines the paper you had to sign about what you were responsible for with your dog yeah all in all I would definitely come back here.

These are the nicest people. They made us feel welcome and were super helpful. The room was comfortable enough for our one night stay but the pillows were really small. Everything was clean and neat including the breakfast area. It was better then what I expected for the price. We ended up staying again on our way back.

Nice place to stay right off the highway. Rooms were clean and kids loved the pool. It was nice to see all amenities operating.

I opted not to pay the early check in fee of $50 which I thought was excessive. The pool and hot-tub were really nice (had them to myself!) Breakfast was fine - food could have been hotter but there was a microwave and plenty of choice! I didn’t go hungry! I would definitely stay there again!

I was able to check in 3 hours early for $50 charge. I’m ok with that, but clearly there were plenty of rooms available. I’ve never been asked to pay it, but I didn’t want to sit in the lobby the waiting for 3 hours after a long travel day. Loved the fresh lemon water available in the lobby

Wonderful stay

We were on a trip and needed a place to spend one night. This Comfort Inn in Creswell was just right. The room was great, the breakfast was very good, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We will likely stay here again if/when we need to spend a night anywhere near Eugene or south of there.

Choice this hotel for it’t high rating and were very disappointed. Staff was nice but the overall smell will be what we remember from this stay. When we arrived on the 2nd floor from the elevator, a faint odor of old dirt met us. Then when we opened the door to the room, we found an even stronger smell of old dirtiness. I was relieved when I found that I could open the window, but had to close it soon after because someone was standing outside smoking. The questionable stains on the chair prevented us from using it. The bathroom and shower felt very clean, but we will probably never stay there again.

Classic situation- pool and hot tub closed because “chemicals need adjusting.” I booked the hotel and location in ad ace based on pool/hot tub after 7 hour drive. Could have chosen another place to stay. Also very expensive for what it was. I paid less for Marriott in Bay Area a couple of weeks ago. They did have fresh fruit at breakfast which I appreciate.

It was good, the furniture in our room was sticky like it had not been wiped down in between visits and there was some type of liquid on both chairs.

We stayed in a very large double queen, pet accessible room. Everything was very clean. I noticed the room attendants mopping the floors everyday. Bed was very comfy, lots of soft pillows, warm comforter. Good breakfast with protein items as well as the usual waffles and carbs. We'll stay here again.

I liked the available options for the free continental breakfast and also enjoyed the extra drinks and snack options that are always available through out the hotel lobby area.

The room had a very unpleasant smell that smelled like an HVAC issue. They were very unhelpful and the front desk supervisor wasn’t very pleasant when we asked for help. Breakfast was decent. The pool was nice. Close fast food options close by.

Our stay here was a pleasant surprise! Needed a close by weekend getaway. We chose this hotel because of the price. I needed relaxation and this hotel delivered!! Friendly staff, super clean room and common areas. The staff was wonderful! Tika was the front desk staff who checked us in and she was amazing! The hottub was very clean and peaceful! A perfect way to unwind! Definitely will be back!

The staff were wonderful! Great service, great breakfast, wonderful coffee shop and restaurant just around the corner. Loved the pool and hot tub. I have very sharp hearing and had trouble with noise from I-5. My husband had no problem.

We loved the indoor pool ans hot tub. The breakfast with fresh waffles and pancakes was another highlight. The staff was wonderful and polite. We enjoyed the hot chocolate in the lobby as well. It all made a 5 day hotel stay with 2 children very enjoyable

I was tired from traveling all day. Just seemed like a lot of non sense at check in. Asked for a room on the first floor. Wasn’t able to do it for same price? I got there at 10pm. 6-7 cars in parking lot. Lights didn’t work on tables and battery in remote went dead.

Located just off the Interstate. Very welcoming reception and easy check in process with a selection of places to eat in the immediate vicinity. Expanse of car parking, clean well appointed rooms so good value for money.

The Comfort Inn in Creswell was a great stay. The breakfask was tasty. The pool was fun. My son and grandchildren stayed 1 night. We would go back again.

The rooms are pretty basic and the bathrooms are nothing special however it’s a great price and the staff are all really kind! Morning breakfast is enjoyable and you’re within walking different fast food places! You’re close to a gas station and even though you’re next to the freeway you don’t hear it at night! Parking is also easy as well and overall the property is an enjoyable experience at a good price. I definitely recommend staying if you’re in town for a few days.

I have stayed at this property several times in the past 5 years. Sadly, it has deteriorated during that time with worn carpets, sub-standard cleanliness, mediocre to poor breakfast. Desk personnel and others servicing this property are pleasant and responsive. Comfort Suites needs to invest in updates to bring this property up to its usual above average standard. Disappointed and will stay elsewhere next time.

Everything in the bathroom needed fixed. Toilet ran nonstop. Shower/tub flooded the floor. Exhaust fan broke. They wouldn’t let us park 2 cars only one. The lot is huge. Really disappointed.

We checked in at around 9pm. When we got into our room there was stains all over the carpet. The heat/ac unit door was laying on the floor. There was an earwig in the toilet, so we tried to flush it and the toilet wouldn’t work. First I tried to call the front desk and the phone in the room did not work, then I went to the front desk and asked for a different room and was told they were sold out, and there wasn’t any maintenance onsite or on call. They told me to keep trying to flush the toilet and see if I could get it to work. I came back to the room and I fixed the toilet (the float was disconnected). We chose this hotel (which was 25mins out of our way) because I recently broke my back and needed to stay somewhere with a jacuzzi. At this point i had twenty minutes to get to the pool/jacuzzi before it closed. When we came back to our room the keys no longer worked which meant another trip to the front desk. Frustrated we just went to bed to be woke up at 430am to a dog barking. It barked until 630am until I went to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager who wasn’t there, and wouldn’t be in until 11am, but they did contact the owner of the dog and it stopped barking. I went to get a cup of coffee, and it was empty. A bagel, and there was a live fly inside. I gave up. Overall this was a terrible experience, and would not recommend staying here.
