Hyatt Regency DFW International Airport - Adjacent to Terminal C

This was a last minute booking after a flight cancellation, and it turned out to be a great experience. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating during a stressful travel situation. The on site restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a nice dinner while catching the game. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

We stayed a week ago and gave a positive review then. Will just add that parking at the hotel is quite easy. Hotel provides directions in advance, garage is directly outside lobby. Ticket is validated at reception upon departure. Also free cookies in lobby! We stayed one week apart—a Friday and Friday. Price second time was dramatically higher due to World Cup. Nearly double for one night.

After a flight cancellation, we booked our stay at this hotel. They were more than accommodating and gave us toothbrushes, since ours were in our checked baggage. They have a vending machine for essentials. It was a little expensive, but helpful. I would stay here again. The shuttle to the airport was very helpful also.

Great spot to stay when you get in late or have early flight from DFW airport. Nice comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast was very good with loads of choices. Dinner on site also quite tasty and reasonable prices. Courtesy shuttle to/from airport with super friendly drivers. Thanks for getting us where we need to go Manny! No complaints.

My flight was cancelled when I called the front desk they didn’t have any rooms available so I went on Expedia and booked one. The front desk made it difficult for me to find the shuttle bus to the hotel but the driver found me as I was booking an Uber. After getting to the hotel my experience was wonderful! I showered, ordered room service and rested in the king bed. In the morning had the breakfast buffet and coffee and shuttled back to the terminal the driver told me exactly where I needed to go.

I missed my connecting flight to California so the convenience of the Hyatt's location proximal to the airport was ideal! Also, the availability of rooms was key! Upon check-in, the front desk attendant provided me with complimentary bottles of water which was a very nice gesture. My stay was very short and unplanned due to issues with my flight. There was not enough time for me to find anything I didn't like which I probably would not have found regardless.

This hotel is old. We stayed on the 13th floor. The people staying next to us dectto stay up all night (it must have had a balcony, as it sounded like two couples opening and closing the sliding glass door all night). We left at 5:00 and we heard them all night. They were not yelling, just talking. That is how thin those walls are in that old hotel. I would fine another updated place

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms with all items working properly. Nice dark blinds for better sleep. Complimentary waters were nice.

My family was stuck In Dallas for two days because we missed our connecting flight due to weather. The Hyatt Regency was the perfect spot for our layover, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers. Thank you so much, friends!

It was very convenient coming into the airport from a long journey.

There was a convention being held of gamers that night and some kids next to me were creating a lot of noise, but I called down to the office and they handled it promptly and the noise stopped so great customer service

The staff was excellent. The food was awful. Very Very Very expensive. It came out cold and we had to ask to take it back. No flavor. The best part of the meal was my sweet potato.

Our room was just ok. Beds were again just ok. Our meal at the hotel was treatable. It was on Monthers day. The food was not eatable. We ordered chicken stip basket and a noodle dish it was the worst. We still payed but not worth the price at all pass if you are ever at the DFW Hyatt

This was a last minute reservation initiated by a horrible layover. I was amazingly pleased at the ease of reserving, checking in and out, and the available shuttle. The room was clean. The staff was engaging. I would recommend this hotel.

It was what we needed when we missed our flight. Soft bed, nice people, and thankfully toothbrush, paste and deodorant because we didn’t get our checked bags.

Nice hotel for an overnight stay at DFW. Very convenient location, especially if you have an early or connecting flight. It’s also close to Grapevine, with a variety of restaurants and a mall nearby, and there is a shuttle service that takes you there. Everything was smooth and worked well during my stay.

What Breakfest? What Bar? We tried getting to the hotel for 2 hours and could not. We called Expedia for a refund and they could not. Hyatt said it was our fault for not calling them. There was no signage to do that. You can't walk to the hotel. There were no shuttles we saw. Hyatt can go to straight to hell. I will never book another reservation with them anywhere. We lost $276. Never again. DFW and Hyatt totally suck. Hope you enjoyed it becuase you'll never see another dime from me.

If you want to actually sleep during the night do not stay here while terminal C is under construction. Construction went on all night outside our window. Trucks beeping, pounding of metal poles, etc. ALL NIGHT LONG. Three of us got very little sleep if at all. I just couldn't believe they would even put anyone in rooms next to construction they knew was going on 24 hours a day. Room was clean however hallway smelled like ammonia cleaning supplies. Staff was nice however we had to ask two different bartenders 3x for our water with dinner and they weren't that busy. I really think we need a refund for our stay.

Perfect place for travel

All staff members were attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The construction outside was a bit noisy but that is not on the hotel, DFW is upgrading. Would stay here again.

Relax and stroke the sun

Overall the property was decent , however we were charged for long distance telephoned calls at $17.00 a piece! Calls made from the landline due to our phones that were not charging on their outlets. Pretty sure long distance charges were things of the 90’s but this hotel will try and get you for every penny they can get! Disappointing but it is what it is.

Great accommodating hotel, provided me with accommodation at 0500 hours in the morning prior to check in time. Our flight was delayed due to weather. I can’t think them enough! 5 star ratings!

It’s a nice place to stay.

There was no hot water available at the time of our visit. Construction next door worked all night, making sleep difficult. However, Hotel management took good care of the situation and made things right

Dreary, dim room. Very basic amenities. 2 paper cups, toiletries in little bottles. Felt like a motel. cheerless and dated furniture and decor. Entire hotel needs refurbishing. With what the room cost expected more/ better. Not a good value. Certainly not comparable to other Hyatt Regency hotels I’ve stayed at. Photos on Expedia must be old, from another era.

Some of the staff was very rude.

My flight to Dallas was cancelled due to storm weather conditions and all flights being grounded in Chicago. The hotel would not let me cancel the room, even though I booked a room in their Chicago hotel.

Our check in was a bit jumbled when staff at the front desk wrote the incorrect room number in our key card packet. It was extremely late and we were exhausted because of a delayed flight.

Outstanding hotel, great location. From the seamless check in to immaculate room, this is an excellent hotel. The food and staff at Jacob’s Grill are amazing. Well prepared and fresh ingredients, made this a highlight of our stay. Chen at Jacob’s grill is a standout. Gold stars to Chen!! The meals were cooked and presented to perfection. The chef is a craftsman. Exceptional stay!!

There should be a disclaimer when the hotel is under construction with limited elevators. Otherwise, the room fell very short of a suite which is why it’s only an “ok” rating

The jackhammer outside our window started at 12 midnight. I contacted the hotel and told them that they should have said there was construction. They said the hotel wasn’t under construction, but the airport is. That is not really fair when you have a 5 am flight and just needed some sleep.

It was convenient for the airport but it did not have warm water for a shower before departure. Transportation was great.

The shuttle to and from the airport building was good although there is a lot of construction going on (not their fault) that caused congestion of traffic.

Early check-in was what I needed, and they offered it. Very satisfied. Bed is super comfortable and room is clean. Also, restaurant is right next to lobby, so you don't have to search for food, which is very convenient.

Unbelievable. Found ourselves stranded in Dallas from the ice storm. Kimberly and Nikkel were amazing our whole stay. Goodie bag with toiletries and chocolate pretzels. Coupon for half off a very good dinner. Helpful and kind way beyond expectations. Would return just because of these two.

The restaurant had an amazing Caprese Buccanti pasta. It was so nice to grab dinner late and relax in a comfortable room before flying out the next morning.

The room was okay. It looks like the mini fridge and the coffee maker were just put in as an afterthought.

Shower water stayed cold. After 5 minutes it was barely lukewarm . A rotten result for a lot of money. It was late at night so no sense trying to report it. Next morning I reported aro front desk and all they offered was a phone number to call.

Great location from airport; shuttle services was excellent to and from the terminal. Only flaw was the amount of time to wait for an elevator - we were on the 10th floor so stairs what’s challenging with luggage.

I came in from India and I was tired and wanted to take a bath. There was hair in my bathtub so I skipped the bath. There was no blanket on my bed, only sheets so I was cold. There were coffee pods, but the only cream they had was powdered stuff made out of powdered corn syrup and powdered vegetable oil… This is not OK.

Kimberly at the front desk was absolutely amazing. I was very distraught after 24 hours of travel, being separated from my mother, and she took care of me and got me situated. Her kindness was something I will not forget. She was busy. She could have “handled” me but she didn’t. She cared for me and my mom. So grateful that she was there for us when we truly were breaking.

When we arrived we were told there would be no water until early in the morning. We told them this would not work. They called another Hyatt and we were booked into another hotel but had to pay again for another room. We were told by the manager that he would refund are money to expedia if they would call the hotel. Please let us know when we can expect a refund..

The location was the only real benefit. I feel like the room and hotel is overrated. I've had the same type room and service at your typical hotels, but at a much better rate.

We came to the Hyatt after a long day stuck in an airport. We were tired, cranky and just wanted a place to rest. The reception we got from everyone at the Hyatt was just what we needed. The front desk staff was so kind and even gave us little toothbrushes, toothpaste, and water bottles. Everyone we came across was kind and welcoming and gave us lots of little tips along the way, we only stayed for one night, but we also got to enjoy a wonderful breakfast the next morning at the restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If we’re ever in need again we will definitely stay at the Hyatt! Thank you so much for making a rough couple of days a little bit better!

Outstanding! Though Terminal C is under construction, the staff was extremely helpful and concerned that I made it to the hotel without trouble. On arrival at Terminal D (from the rental car lot) I messaged them and they dispatched a shuttle immediately to pick me up and bring me to the hotel. Check-in was a breeze, the room was spacious and spotless (and quiet!). Had a wonderful night and then got directions to the terminal for departure. So convenient!

DFW is in need of a facelift and it looks like they are working on that. The Hyatt service was excellent, but the hotel itself looks like it has seen better days. The room was very clean and the front desk staff were very nice and friendly.

We have stayed at the airport hyatt several times recently. It is usually our go to. Never had a complaint!! WE were very pleased to receive an upgrade this time. Unfortunately the tub was not clean (hair in the drain) and we could not get hot water!! I did mention it to the front desk and they were kind enough to comp our restaurant charges from the night before. I am going to consider this a one off as usually we are very happy.

Shuttle easy to find, hotel a trek!

The Staff is awesome! Very helpful and pleasant. My wife was impressed by all the little extras like the ice-cold fruit water, free cookies and even small candies. The shuttles ran on time with very friendly drivers, and they were very convenient. Definitely one of the better hotels we have stayed in.

This hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance from Terminal C. You can also take the hotel shuttle if you do not want to walk. The rooms are comfy and clean. We had a room with a great airport view.

This was a port in the storm. My flight left before I got to DFW. I had a very early flight the nes=xt morning so this was perfect and much less expensive than the Grand Hyatt

After a long day of delays at the airport, it was a pleasant surprise to receive the ease of check-in and comfortable accommodations. The cherry on the top was Maya, our waitress at the restaurant. She was attentive and a blessing after the long day!

Room was great, airport shuttle was prompt, we didn’t have breakfast but had a deli sandwich that was delicious and we also ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. While we were there we had a medical emergency and the staff working the midnight shift was super helpful and treated us like family. Thanks so much for helping us get an ambulance and to a hospital.

We only spent the night to make our trip to the airport easier but it was a very nice hotel!

This is such a great place to stay after a long day of travel. They contacted us to find out our check in time. They were able to put us down for late check-in because our flight landed around midnight.

I needed a place at the airport to stay one night. I found that this hotel worked really well. Very comfortable and great bar atmosphere.

Our stay was pleasant & convenient for our early flight. I would recommend the hotel have more pillows, as there were only 2 for the two of us. Very quiet!

Have only been here 30 minutes so far, it the check in experience was top notch. Very friendly staff, and gave us just the right amount of information. Checking out the bar now and it’s nice and lively as you might expect of an airport hotel with playoff baseball going on.

We had one "nit pick" issue with our room. There were only two cardboard coffee cups in the room - hard to drink scotch from a soggy cup.

The hotel is very convenient for overnight connections. The shuttle service was great. The restaurant had good ambiance and my meal was good, but the brisket sandwich was a real disappointment, particularly in Texas. Another small disappointment was the $3 charge for a bottle of water. That should have been included considering the price of the room. Room and bed were comfortable, and service was good.

There should be more convenient way to travel between terminal C and the hotel. Currently, the only way to walk between terminal C and the hotel was to traverse the parking lot and climb and descend multiple stairways. This was very challenging to walk with luggage. There was no indication if there was a shuttle available upon exiting terminal C.

Great stay. But there is something that can be improved. I stayed there because of a delay and i had missed my layover. Missing the layover, i did not have my luggage so i made do. Luckily i always pack my toothbrush. What would’ve made my stay amazing would be if they had robes in the room. Robes and slippers. Just some comfort after the discomfort of delayed flights and not having bags.

The hotel was very nice. The staff were incredible the gal at the front desk. We wanna check in and then we saw her again on checkout. She was very helpful and very empathetic to our situation. American Airlines canceled our flight while we were in route because of weather rerouted us rewrite us back wouldn’t give us our luggage didn’t rebook us so we were stuck for three days and at least the Hyatt Regency people were very generous, and even comped us some meals which was nicer than American, who didn’t do anything at all

Excellent receptionist, checkin was smooth and despite the tremendous pressure on staff they handled all requests very well.

The woman at the registration desk was kind and welcoming. I was just coming from the airport where I had one of the most stressful days ever, and she was genuinely empathetic. Other staff not so much. I got a room that had a connecting door to the next room and their tv was keeping me awake when I desperately needed sleep. When I explained this to staff I was admittedly a bit pissed, and she did send up a security person to knock on the door, but after I realized that the sound was coming through the cracks around the connecting door and that the noise was still keeping me awake, I called again and she said “so what am I supised to do?” And I said “maybe you should tell people when you are putting them in a connecting room that there could be noise issues.” Downstairs in the lobby they have words like “empathy” describing how they treat guests. I had just experienced a horrible day at the airport with multiple delays and cancellations and a lot of expense, and now I was paying a lot of money to stay in a fairly high-end hotel, and I was doing my best not to sound angry but I was exhausted and honestly needed to get some sleep before an early flight. I don’t think there was even an attempt on her part to understand her guest’s needs let alone do something to make it right, even if making it right only meant being sympathetic and understanding. My room had an odor of mildew mixed with stale air, and now all the clothes in my luggage smell of it and need washing.

Only could get hot water in the room. Even the cold water tap at the sink was hot water. The shower also was hot water only. We only had a few hours to sleep so we just went to bed and checked out the next morning. I normally don't complain about issues so I didn't even think about complaining on checkout. However, they asked me how my stay was on checkout and I told them about the issues with the hot water and they seemed not to care. I was surprised by their reaction because I wasn't about to ask them to do anything about it for me. I was just stunned they didn't want to write the room number down or attempt to fix it for the next customer. With this in mind I believe they were aware of the issue and were choosing not address it for some reason. With this in mind I feel it's best not use this hotel.

Stayed here after a long international flight to rest up. Nice property. I wish there had been more food options around, but you can't have everything.

It was an amazing stay

The check-in was lovely jobly. Staff were very professional and courteous. Highly recommended.

Our stay was great! We usually stay at Hotel Swexon or the omni downtown but we plan to come back here next time. We got the strip view and it wasn't loud at all, we didn't hear anything. The buffet restaurant has great food too!

All was good

We had an issue with our room and the staff were very accommodating. They set up a new room and allowed us to wait in the restaurant area, have dinner, and then go to our new room. The hotel concierge, the manager, Thomas, our server, along with the elevator repair guys and the lady manager at the restaurant were all very nice and extremely helpful. It turned a hectic day into a very pleasant evening.

Dated but convenient

I wish I could give a review of my stay but due to several flight delays and cancelation, my husband and I could not make it. When I reached out, the agent was extremely helpful and understanding. For that alone, should we have to connect through DFW, we will choose this option due to the proximity to the airport and the customer service.

Really hard to get to. Way too many stairs through and across a parking lot. If you have to take 20 minute shuttle no real reason to stay here. Stay at the other Grand Hyatt until construction is complete

If you have an early flight, you are five minutes from the gate! Is very quiet considering that you are next to the runways.

Comfortable bed

Very nice place to stay when you have a 13 hour layover and on time.

Room was hot, a/c not working- too tired to complain

First room they gave me, the lock screws are off, felt so unsafe. The front desk lady was quick to change my room. Expected too much of Hyatt but disappointed, you have to pay for a bottle of water, rooms are old. But the shuttle service was great, front desk lady was helpful. Access to the airport is good.

Convenience, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and attentive staff, and good gym.

Be sure you pick the right DFW airport Hyatt because there are 2! And you can’t instantly rebook between them. This one (Regency) is by terminal C; Grand is at terminal D. If you stay here, just use the free shuttle for any terminal other than C; can’t walk outside except to C, and transit inside the airport is slow.

Was quite disappointed that the complimentary water jar in the lobby was empty when we got there, granted we came in around 11:00 pm. I could have used a good refreshing drink. Breakfast was a good spread, really appreciated as we did not have dinner the evening we arrived. Appreciated how quiet it was despite its close proximity to the airport. We usually choose Hyatt because it is pet friendly. Did not travel with a pet this time, but chose to stay in one anyway.

Overall a great stay, rooms were clean, updated, grounds and hotel common areas were clean, nicely kept and any of the staff I encountered were friendly & helpful.

The 24/7 shuttle wasn’t running, the room was not ready at 8:00pm (although I did book in that evening but still). Signage from the airport is non existent until you go into the car park, the email on pickups from the terminal set by hotels.com was wrong, the for in the restaurant which I got for the poor service was inedible. 3 small pillows on king sized bed. I could continue. They did give me a free dinner, but what I wanted was a better experience.

The water was scolding hot and wouldn't get cold. When the front desk was notified, they said oh yea sorry others have complained about that also.

Close to terminals

The staff at this be property and manager were great. The Expedia AI chat is a pure liar and the service was awful I wasted hours fighting with Expedia to get a refund and I paid 100$ more for my room because Expedia can’t do there job.

Julio at the bar was fantastic. The shuttle was very convenient. The rooms and facilities are excellent. The direct access from the DFW terminals to the entrance is overly complicated.

Had to get a last minute hotel because my flight was cancelled and I would say that this hotel was nice it’s just that it had a bad shower the shower door didn’t close all the way but it was still nice.

Definitely quiet and I would stay here again in the future when my flight out of DFW is at 5:00 AM!
